My husband and I tried to experience this winery, but the only parking available was a lot you had to pay to park and I am not paying to go spend a hundred or more dollars to drink and eat and then have to pay to park. So we will nit try this winery again!!

We went to celebrate a friend s birthday and the vibes weren t quite what we were expecting. We were seated at our table and because of the time of day and all the windows, the sun was right in our eyes and made it hard to see each other. The windows have no blinds either so be prepared to be blasted by the full power of the sunset depending on where you re seated. Once seated, we asked the waitress for a couple minutes to look over the menu since we had never been and were literally just sat. She then proceeded to walk off and left us waiting nearly 20 minutes while she chatted with her coworkers. It took one of our table members walking over to her to get her to come take our order. The drinks were fine, but the charcuterie board was very underwhelming. The board didn t feel like it was worth the $30 we paid, but The popcorn was pretty good. Because of door to the patio being left open, there were flies everywhere and we had to constantly bat them away. The most frustrating part was that the waitress seemed like she couldn t be bothered to help us, and would see us flagging her down and then turn around, ignore us, and keep talking with her coworkers. The workers seem to favor chatting over their job. It very much felt like they made assumptions about our small group from the moment we walked in, and in the future we will be looking for more friendly and welcoming establishments.

There was a disconnect between the atmosphere/prices and the service. I found it hard to justify a $20+ glass of wine or cocktail while being served by people wearing tshirts and leggings or bras and biker shorts..only suggestion is to pick a vibe are you going for classy wine bar or for a regular 7th st bar?? Easily took 25-30 minutes for someone to check on us. So unfortunate because the establishment itself was so cute. We got a baked goat cheese appetizer and it was average at most. Again we dont mind paying for quality but the quality was lacking for sure. Prices and atmosphere dont match in my opinion. Sports bar atmosphere with classy wine bar prices.

Good wine and great vocalist on a Saturday night. Management is a mess unfortunately. We ordered a pizza that didn t arrive after an hour. The server graciously offered to take it off the bill and serve it anyway, but the manager inexplicably overruled her, and made the problem ours. Shockingly poor management disinterested in solving the problem. Still scratching my head why the manager only got involved an hour into the people. I do hope the staff enjoyed our pizza. UPDATE: don t be fooled by management message below. Weeks after emailing I ve received no outreach.

Everything about this venue was gorgeous. From the ambience to the presentation of drinks. The lovely owner/manager Charisse s attentiveness was the icing on the cake to add to the perfection of the evening. Edit 2023 - Held off on a review for a negative review for years out of respect for many previous years of great experiences, but sadly, just cant wait any longer. The service and management here is just plain poor. No matter whether they have 3 staff and no one there or 2-4 staff with a packed house. Dont get me wrong - they are very nice, knowledgeable, and courteous. Patio and comfy seats are top notch. But since the last ownership change I have to wait 25-30 minutes for anyone to come to my table: whether thats the first visit to the table or any visit thereafter. There have been times (many, many times) when I would have ordered two or four $90+ bottles of wine but our server never comes, so it ends up being one bottle or just a glass. The manager is always just hanging out - head down in a computer - and doesnt seem to care when there are issues. And God forbid the owner is there (which he is often). The staff fawns over him instead of looking after paying customers. And hey, its your business so do what you want good sir, but apparently you like leaving money on the table. I really want to come here more, but please please please take better care of your customers. Original 2021- Generally just good all around service, wine, and prices. We live nearby and visit all the time.

Our group travels for work, and we happened to stumble across Magnolia Wine Bar as it was near our Airbnb. The sparkling wine, cocktails, and cheese board were all delish! I absolutely loveeeee this place. The staff is always a joy and take great care of us. They have happy hour every day from 12 to 5 as well as bubble hour every day from 4-6. We had a great afternoon at The Magnolia Wine Bar yesterday. The staff greeted us and asked what type of wine we were thinking about. We gave them a style and they came back with three options of things that were newer to their list and appropriate for the warm day since we were seated in their patio with our dog. We selected a delicious Albariño that fit the day perfectly. We like that they keep us well-supplied with water in an ice bucket (the ice bucket is a special request that they will gladly fulfill). Our dog loves the staff and they love him. The newly-renovated patio makes sipping on wine in the warmer months especially nice. They now serve liquor in addition to wine and beer for those not feeling vinous. The building, the patio, the staff, and the wine make Magnolia one of our favorite places.

I came here last year and it was great. This time I was disappointed on how they change their plate size and also the food descriptions. I order the same thing as last time and the size it was just way to small, it was a shareable plate for 4 parties. That goes with the charcuterie board and the salmon. I dont want to assume but it seems that the food is bought from Trader Joes, which I dont mind. I shop there too, but the amount is not enough. Then the descriptions shows different cheeses but if you dont ask they will bring you something else. Also, if you are serving beer in a can or in a bottle I expect for them to pour the beer in your table not at the bar.

This is a great wine bar on Magnolia. They have a pretty vast selection. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable of the wines. The inside of the bar is inviting and comfortable, with nice art and seating. The outside seating area is nice too, but fills up fast during pretty weather. I try the feature wine, its decent however they treat my $15 pour like gold.. so a fly made its way in my glass theyre everywhere here, it happens its a wine bar I get it. I was looking forward to coming here after hearing rave reviews however, after getting to the wine bar, we sat down and waited for over 10 minutes to be acknowledged or even greeted and no one ever came by our table after sitting water down upon entrance. Fraud charges! Horrible service! The service was a total let-down from the moment we arrived. My husband and I ordered a glass of wine when we got there. His came after about 10 minutes of waiting, but my glass took more than 30 minutes to get to our table, despite asking 2 different people (one was a manager) if there was a problem. We paid and left, only to look at our statement a week later and discovered 2 charges. One for $35, which was correct, and one for $65 which was fraudulent. AVOID THIS PLACE!

What an amazing place with lovely people. And dogs. I took my fur baby there and she loved it. I drank wine and chatted with a friend while she ate dog treats provided by the bar and made lots of new friends. I forgot to feed my dog before I went and they even brought her a bowl of kibble. I lead Black Girls Wine Society Dallas Chapter. We had a great night touring wine regions around the world at Kent & Co. Phil, John and Barton made us feel welcomed and at home. I have found my new Christmas Brunch wine in the 2015 Turbulent Sparkling Rosé from France. We had a great time trying wines from France, New Zealand, Argentina and Italy. Management was absolutely rude about me wearing a mask which I have no problem doing! Same manager dropped his mask talking to another table. Kind of like Nancy Pelosi do as I say not as I do! You can find a better wine bar!!!!!

Excellent wine selection. Sometimes the service is slow, but that feeds into a cool, easy ambience, where you are forced to slow down and appreciate the pace. The place has a take it easy vibe.

Stopped I with some friends late evening. The ladies found the wines they liked easy enough. I just had Americana Coffee and found the portion a little to small for the price. They also had no cream available for the coffee. I suggest this Ken & Co. for comfortable place to meet and have a drink . The atmosphere is great and service was good.

I havent been inside actually because I dont drink, but it looks like a really nice place. I liked the design. I read the people reviews, most of them were praising the staff. They have a parking lot in the back of the bar. It is in a nice area.

Disappointing experience. Our server unapologetically said that the wine list had just been changed and therefore she had no knowledge of most of the wines on the menu.... you d think at a wine bar the staff would be highly educated about the massive wine list before they roll it out because without server help and no descriptions on the menu, it s really hard to make a choice. Pours seemed kind of small and, because of the new list, each glass took 10+ minutes to come out. Food menu was extremely boring and uninspired. I d suggest going to Grand Cru down the street where staff are super knowledgeable and you can try multiple wines in a flight.

This is THE best wine bar in DFW. very friendly and very knowledgeable staff. They have all the best wines and a great atmosphere at a great price. They us coravin to seal the wine and serve by the glass! They are walking distance to all the great restaurants on magnolia. Highly recommend! They also sell wine by the bottle too

I had a beer there not too long ago and a fly was in my glass, immidietly i called our server and she said she was gonna just take it out of the drink not even switch it out or anything i thought she was joking so she took it back as i was watching her she did what she said was gonna do and i was just grossed out about it when she brought it too me so i left not satisfied didnt even finished it

It was enjoyable, great wine, and the calzones that were delivered from down the street were excellent too. We showed up an hour before close, sat at the bar, and overheard the manager talking about how he turns off the AC to get guests to leave starting at 10:45pm. Then we witnessed the warmth that came. Other than that, all else was great!

Staff is very knowledgeable of the selection of wines. If you don t know something, just ask. If you want something or a particular flavor in wine and don t exactly know what you are looking for, just ask. They will help you find exactly what you are wanting. The food doesn t all come from in house, but it is still very good and well worth any wait. It usually isn t very long or a wait. The atmosphere is so wonderful and chill. The owner did a wonderful job with this place and the staff on board! We will be back time and time and time again!
