I cant speak to the quality of the food here, but I can share my experience as an Uber driver picking up an order. When I walked in, the first staff member directed me to the bar. The woman at the bar, wearing a maroon jacket, glanced at my phone, read out Elsa, and then started making drinks without saying anything further.It was a bit confusing because different staff members seemed to be checking on me, so I assumed they were handling the order. Eventually, someone else emerged from the back, made a single drink, and then slid a bag forward that had already been sitting on the counter. Turns out, that was the order I d been waiting for the whole time. It would have been nice if the communication had been clearer.

Mexican food in downtown ft worth. We ordered the poblano chicken enchiladas & I had the ground beef taco- beef enchilada- chicken sour cream plate. The poblano enchiladas were very good. I wasn t a fan of the beef enchilada but still ate it. Not a fan of their chips. But their salsa is very good. Our waiter was nice but too quiet for being a server. That s why only the 3 stars on the service. Try them out- they have a broad selection of food.

Dined at a High top in the Bar, convention in town. They were at full capacity. Bartender was waiting tables. Tacos filling very sparce consisted small shrimp bacon, length of green onion (choking hazard) generous amount of diced jalapeno. I enjoy spicy food, was unable to eat. Removed shrimp. Slaw accompaniments consisted of iceberg shreds, slices of avocado cherry tomatoes and a drizzle of mayo based sauce. Filled up on the rice. Womens bathroom needed some serious attention.

This one is tough to write. Im always pulling for good tex mex, but this was utterly mediocre. As a benchmark, I usually get cheese enchiladas. If you cant make the basics, you have no reason to make anything. The flavor was amateurish with little creativity. The beans looked great as did the rice but there was very little nuance. Theres nothing special about the dish I ordered. My colleague ordered the chicken enchiladas which included some sort of fluorescent sauce. Very weird. He commented the chicken was dry. YES Im from San antonio, like a knife to a gunfight, BUT if this is what passes in FW (which I doubt) as anything other than a convenient place to meet, I feel sorry for FW.i will compliment the salsa. It was, at least, their recipe and adequately decent. Maybe other items or location keep them coming back, but I wont be. Sorry!

My interest is peaked with the cute outdoor seating downtown Fort Worth. However the customer service is absolutely outstanding Everyone is working as a fine working Team and excellent customer service is the goal. Mission accomplished. It doesnt stop there the atmosphere is peaceful as the lunch rush trickled in but seating is as fast as it is abundant. The aromas from the kitchen are tempting treats being prepared for your delivery. Everything looks delicious and tastes like true authentic bliss. Mi Cocina is definitely being added to my fine food rotation in beautiful downtown Fort Worth Texas. Thank you Alba (I hope I got that right) Enjoy for yourself.

Unprofessional staff during a non busy lunch pick up order. I saw our to go bags on the counter but the lady was on the phone so we were waiting for her to finish and not be rude. But there were other servers next to her doing nothing at the counter, with us staring at them to wait until we were asked a question but nope. Absolutely no customer service skills, unless we were being socially profiled. One server was at the register pretending to punch numbers On the POS and not once looked up at us to even ask if weve been helped. But when another man comes in and shouts I m here for a pick up, that same server greets him and gets someone else out to help. Okay? Thanks for nothing. If there s ever a next time, I ll just be rude right off the bat instead of being considerate to the service industry since I came from that industry. Never coming here for service again especially with the staff on 8/9/24 at 12p. Horrible

The beef fajitas were amazing! The onions and peppers were still pleasantly crunchy and the beef was tender. I also substituted rice for the latin stir fry vegetables and those were wonderful too! My only complaint is that I ordered the food to go and they didnt include any silverware (nor was there a place to request them on the website).

A little disappointed. I never left a tex-mex restaurant hungry, but the fajita plate was more like an appetizer than a meal. I love chips and salsa before the main course, I cant get enough but this time the salsa was so hot that my mouth is still numb one hour later. I asked for a mild salsa and they brought me a watered down version of the same extremely hot salsa. Some people like that I guess!

I love coming to Mi Cocina with my family! The food was delicious. I wish I d remembered the managers name he greeted us warmly and ensured that we were seated promptly, despite the restaurant being quite busy. Throughout our meal, the manager made rounds to check in with guests, including us, to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. We came in with a party of 5 and we were really hungry. Excellent hot sauce and chips. Atmosphere was so pleasant. Everyone was so friendly and caring and helpful. The food was awesome. We all ordered something different and tried something new. The food was hot and flavored delicious. The Waiter, Jay kept coming by and checking on us. Then the manager was very professional and was stopping by at each table, and checking to make sure everything was okay and good. Her name was Alba. She was very friendly, kind and caring. Said let her know if theres anything we need that they would take care of us. We had a very wonderful dinner and I would recommend anyone to come by excellent food and service.

This is a spot we love to frequent when we make our way downtown. We have made it in several times and this is the 3rd time we ve made it by and got to have Issac as our server. One of the worst dining experiences Ive had. To start, our server was wonderful and was really taking care of our table while dining. The food however was horrible. My enchiladas were hard and I was unable to cut through the corn tortilla. The chicken inside was dry and not tasty. The only redeeming quality was possibly the poblano crema. Another person in our party had some meat enchiladas that tasted spoiled. We sent that plate back as the meat did not taste right. Since Saturday night when we dined there I have had an upset stomach with mild food poisoning symptoms. I cannot and will not recommend this restaurant. It is over priced food at a low quality standard.

Maribel has been bartending for us for as long as we moved to downtown Fort Worth 2 years ago. She s incredibly polite and is amazing at what she does. She recognizes us as soon as we walk in the door and greets us with the biggest smile. If I could give this place and the whole experience less than one star I would. We came in at 3:00 pm for a late lunch and there wasn t any other customers in the restaurant, yet we were not greeted and had to wait to be seated. All the staff was sitting in eye distance playing on their phones. My husband had to get up and search for salt and pepper. I had to ask for chips and salsa. The food was nasty and tasted like a cheap tv dinner. I will never come back here. The waitress brought our food out and that s the only time we seen her. She brought our check and there was a QR code for us to pay online. I had cash. She came back over when we didn t get up to leave and said aren t you going to pay online? I said no I have cash. She acted like it was an inconvenience for her to take my money and then She didn t bring me all my change. I m highly disappointed. We got treated like we weren t worth anything more than trash.

Wow, we had the brisket tacos and seafood tacos recommended by Alejandro. (Our waiter) They are amazing. The side salad was refreshing. The service was very friendly and fast. Great atmosphere. Highly recommend for a lunch or quiet date night.

If you need a drink come here but besides that worse tex mex food ever. The brisquit queso tasted like watered down velveta with boiled meat. No flavor at all. The enchiladas werent even real enchiladas and they were just terrible. Do not go here. My waiter was at least nice. P.s you will be going to be bed hungry because the food is terrible.

Mi Cocina offers a delicious variety of food, is in a prime location near Sundance Square in downtown Fort Worth, and has staff that consistently exudes excellent customer service! Shout out to our waiter, Isaac! His mannerisms and knowledge about the food and beverage options are top tier!

I recently dined at Mi Cocina and had the pleasure of being served by Michelle. She was absolutely fantastic. From the moment we sat down, Michelle made sure we felt welcomed and comfortable. Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, and she provided excellent recommendations that we thoroughly enjoyed. Michelle was attentive without being intrusive, and her friendly demeanor added a wonderful touch to our dining experience. Our drinks were always topped up, and our food arrived promptly and perfectly prepared. We will definitely be back and hope to have her as our server again!

Tried this restaurant out for the first time recently and the whole experience was amazing! The food & drinks we re delicious and the atmosphere was inviting. The host, Keyla, was very kind! We chatted for a few minutes while I waited for the rest of my party to arrive. I was having trouble deciding what to eat & she suggested the nachos mi tierra. Top 5 foods for sure! She also suggested several drinks which were all very tasty. Delicious margaritas! She made this experience very memorable for me. You can tell she enjoys her job and works hard to keep customers happy. Overall, 10/10! I ll be back for the food & I d stay for the service
