I went for lunch, when the waitress asked if we were ready, we asked for a few more minutes. The waitress sat down and started eating, I figure no biggie at first. But then we had to flag her down each and every time we needed something. Every time she went right back to her spot and even walked to the kitchen to get more food to add to her plate and continued as if she was on break. Two of the employees did this together. We were there a little over an hour and this continued the entire time. It was so bad that when we needed something we had to stop another waitress to ask for sirracha, a to-go box and even when we were ready for the check. We sat there trying to flag her down for a few minutes as she giggled and continued eating as if she was a customer, not someone on the clock. This place used to be great but lately the service is definitely lacking. I had similar issues a few months back when I took my daughter for lunch. Not many people were there but it took over 30 minutes to get two rolls. We didn t even have time to eat our lunch, we had to get it to go I won t be back.

We ordered 3 rolls between the two of us thinking it would be like other sushi places where one roll doesnt quiet fill you up. Nope, these are big rolls. One is a filling meal. The Texas roll is amazing. Its like a spicy tuna roll and a shrimp tempura roll had a baby. One of the best sushi rolls Ive ever had. Atmosphere is great too.

We entered the restaurant which boasts of a beautiful waterfall as you walk in. You are quickly greeted at the host stand. It s right by the door, convenient to help you find a table. We sat down at a four top and a lovely blonde, waitstaff young lady came over to help us. She was very attentive and very helpful, and we were really really fortunate to have such a great person helping us. I ordered vegetable tempura, which were on point, warm, crispy cooked and everything that we had was delicious, and hot. Our waitstaff brought us whatever we needed right away. I am highly giving this place five stars because they are always always on point with service, with food value prices, with a taste, temperature of the food, cleanliness, and everything. It is definitely a jewel in the Montgomery Plaza area.

I just cant get behind Sushi Axiom. I was invited by some friends and it was not great. The sushi was not worth the price at all. The table was uncomfortable and I had to spit the sushi out into a napkin because it was just... weird. Im happy a lot of people enjoy Sushi Axiom- Im just not one of them!

Back to being 5 stars again. Wife and I go all the time again and have not had any issues do I figured it was time to put them back at 5 stars. Previous reviews below. In my orginal review I rated them 5 stars. However, now I would definitely rate them lower. Each of the past 3 times we have been there have been issues with service or our orders. The sushi was brought to the table and it was missing ingredients. We asked for sauce on the side and the waiter argued with the chef about it when he put the sauce on the top but brought it to the table anyway so I had to send it back. Then it came to the table incomplete. The only saving grace is the fried rice has still been great. Probably wont be back for a while. Previous review below. Crab dynamite roll, colonial roll, and calamari roll are all great. I also extremely enjoyed all of the different meat and fried rice combos. They are crazy good!

Walked in, not knowing what to expect, walked out stuffed, and raving about how delicious everything we had was. Upon walking inside, it felt like we were in an episode of Cheers! Everyone said hello and were beyond friendly and appeared genuine and sincere. Our server was attentive, and our food arrived at lightening speed. The Hawaiian fried was incredibly tasty and a must-have, in my opinion. We each had a martini, and both were delicious. The monkey brain appetizer is definitely worth trying. All 3 rolls we had were incredible. This is our new go-to sushi spot in DFW. The only downfall was that the food was so excellent we all over ate and are now all uncomfortably full. What a terrible problem to have! If youre looking for a good sushi place, give this place a try- You wont regret it.

We ordered our food. I ordered sushi, Tuna California rolls and my friend ordered 3 sashimi s and some California rolls and was taken by the asian server wearing black blouse. Then our orders came in delivered by a short lady wearing white blouse with all my order fulfilled and my friend order came in short of 2 sashimi s. When we were done eating, my friend inquired about his two other sashimi order. This short lady in white blouse insisted that his orders came thru and said if he wants more, then he has to order. So, shortly after the asian lady who took our orders (the one in black blouse) went to the order slips we marked and maybe to the chefs to confirm if the sashimi was delivered and approached us with an apology since it was not delivered. I could have given a 5 star for service if not for the short server in white blouse insisting she mentioned to us all what was delivered (which she didn t) and suggested if he want his sashimi, then order more. She is implying we are lying on our short order. BE SURE WITH YOUR ORDERS AND STAY AWAY FROM THE SHORT LADY IN WHITE BLOUSE (Looks also asian).

I witnessed a baby roach crawling across the table next to me. I informed the manager, he located and killed the roach (with his bare hands), and he said thanks for telling me, pest control was just here so everything is coming out. I said well, youll need to wipe down that table with bleach. He said ok and walked off. When he didnt come back, I questioned him and told him this is unsanitary. He said maam this is not unsanitary. This is normal. Not normal but, normal after spraying. I could hardly finish my food; he never returned to wipe the table down. Would not recommend this particular location.

Service was horrible. One of our party of 5 ordered fried rice and received it 20 minutes before any other food hit the table. Then half of one sushi order was delivered and we only got the rest of it 15 minutes later when we asked. The other rice dish ordered never made it to the table even though it was repeatedly asked for and they left it on the bill. We talked to Phil the manager and he explained it was our fault for ordering hot dishes and sushi, it was Sunday and that was the problem, it was xxx, etc.. Never once did he apologize. I watched several whole tables order and receive their food at the same time and finish before we got ours. No apology, no what can we do to make it right etc. Phil needs to go. Worst management reaction to something that was obviously an issue ever!

We were there today, our waitress who I believe has been there for a while was so rude. She is an older lady with glasses, first I asked to move seats since the AC was blowing right at us and I m pregnant so it was not pleasant at all and we were told no we could not move. It took about 20 minutes to get our drinks which were literally two waters and a coke it was not busy in the restaurant at all it was about 2:30PM. We finally got to order our food, and then I saw my order sitting at the sushi counter for legit at least 15 minutes while they waited for my husbands food to be made. My husband never got a refill on his coke, because the waitress never even checked on us, the only time she came by is to give us the check. We also saw the busboy clean up another table, and just put back the dishes that did not look used on the clean stack where the put the sauces. I have never just left $0 tip until today, it was not worth the $62 I paid for the cold food! HORRIBLE

I can t even comment on the food, because I never received it! We walked in around 9pm and got seated immediately. We placed our sushi order about 15 minutes after, which I thought was a little long. To be fair, it was busy, I was like, this is okay, I m patient lol Then an HOUR later. 10:15pm and still no food on our table. I m sad to say that I walked out and went to Velvet Taco across the street since literally everything is closed now! It seemed like a nice place but I stood . STOOD at my table for 5 minutes and not one employee asked if I needed anything. I tried to get the managers attention to no avail. Bad experience. I should have read the reviews prior to spending 75min at this restaurant.

As always, everything with Axiom (Montgomery Plaza - not Hulen) is impeccable. The majority of the food was fantastic with such flavor, Chef Ramsay would have been ecstatic. But then there was the Crawfish Rice meal and the Pad Thai. We are not sure what was up with those dishes. The Pad Thai had a flavor of almost dry minced meat. The crawfish rice tasted as if the crawfish had been frozen for years and the rice had absorbed the freezer burn flavor. Both meals get a 1/10 while the other meals all get 9/10 or 10/10. Service from Annie/Anne was fantastic!

When Musume closed I had to try something new. This is the lowest quality sushi I ve ever had. The rolls are covered in colorful nasty fake roe and the wasabi is dyed neon green. Probably the cheap horseradish mixture cheap places use. Couldn t finish my rolls I picked up and had to throw them out. Not to mention I had to wait around 50 minutes total for 3 rolls and some sides. I ll never go back. Go to blue sushi down the street for good rolls!

we ordered the new orleans and axiom roll, which was great. we waited 30min, but it was busy and the hostess told us the kitchen was backed up, so it was ok. however, service was really lacking. the small dishes they gave us werent very clean-- they had some dried green spots and some dried specks of food? also they didnt give us napkins, silverware, or wasabi/ginger. we had to ask for all of this. the waitress did refill our water though, and the staff were polite and kind.

Food for the price is not great. Tbh Kroger sushi is better. I also had the salmon and mushrooms which had hardly any flavor. On top of this the service was awful and I went almost 20 mins for a refill. I had to finally get a manager so I could pay and leave. I usually give places two tries before I review or complain but this was such a bad experience I cant fathom coming back to try again. Dont waste your time. Theres too many other wonderful sushi places that arent so expensive.

We had a party of 9 that we were willing to split 6/3 There were 2 four top tables next to each other that were open the minute we walked in. They refused to pull the tables together in order to seat any of our party... Their reasoning was that the tables were in different servers sections. We waited for about 30 minutes (all the while both tables remained empty) After that our hunger pains won out and we left and ate at Boomer Jacks. Typically the service and food have always been tops, but this evening they missed out on a lot of $ because we typically splurge big-time on food and drinks.

I wish I had taken pictures before we started eating, because the presentation was absolutely beautiful. We started out with a Dos Equis and the Martini Axiom, then ordered the Tower of Pisa and the Scottish Salmon Roll. The Tower is my favorite! We always wanted to try the Crawfish Fried Rice but we were so full that we ordered it to go. Such a nice helping and I the best Crawfish Fried Rice Ive ever had. We try something new every time we go! The servers are kind, friendly, smiling, and very helpful if you ever had a question about something on the menu.

JoJo at Sushi Axiom W. 7th St. Fort Worth is the most amazing server on the planet. She knows exactly what I want when I walk in the door. She is one of the sweetest people and she has a true eye for detail. She does not let an empty plate stay on the table or a Glass half full and she ensures you have everything you need and more. I come here for the sushi and martinis! The sushi is always super good, definitely recommend their specialty rolls, 7th Street Roll and Hamachi Heaven Roll. Their Bellini-tini and Dragon Lady are also delicious. The food quality is also the same whether you dine in or take out which is a huge plus for the people that prefer takeout.

I absolutely love this establishment. They are always accommodating to allergies and are willing to make substitutions to make our dining experience amazing! I wish I had taken a picture of our sushi boat. Best $55 you will ever spend! Dietary restrictions: Accommodated for shrimp allergy Kid-friendliness: The chef made the cutest Orange Panda Bear for the kids boat. They accommodated the children with chop stick helpers as well.

On Sundays not just one Sunday they arent able to give good ontime service. They turn the phone off between 5 and 7. And have no action plan on how to fix it.The mgr just kinda raised his hands at me like Idk what to do. Thats bad management. Otherwise good food

I dont normally give bad ratings, and Ill be be fair. To start with the good, the waiter was kind, and she did apologize for the delay. Also, the food wasnt bad, and they serve it in a nice presentable way. We visited due to the high ratings on Google Maps, someone mentioned that they have AYCE (All you can eat), well they dont have that, but thats not their fault. We only ordered two rolls, and then another roll after that, but we had to wait for a pretty long time before each order arrived. We spent around 1 hour in total, mostly waiting for the food to arrive, and the restaurant wasnt even busy! After a long wait, the food was ready, but it took the waiter another while till they picked it up. Moreover, the atmosphere is terrible... Dim lighting and feels more like a bar than a restaurant.

Food is on point! The best sushi Ive had. Just the right amount of spice. Food was cooked to perfection, and the drinks were great! We went 2 nights in a row... Thats how good it is. Prices are reasonable. The first night service was great. The second night, our server was good but after we closed out with 20% tip each, he came back to tell us that we should tip more because the kitchen gets 6% of the tips. I thought it to be quite tackey!

Been here multiple times asked to make a reservation on Friday for a friends birthday she said they don t make reservations but probably won t be able to take a large party on Friday night because the kitchen gets backed up? HIGHLEY disappointed because we really love this place and wanted to make sure her night was special. Like how are you going to tell me you can t take reservations but won t be able to take a large party? (6 people) She was super rude and snotty on the phone. There literally are 1000 other sushi places in Fortworth if I m going to get spotty service we ll take our money elsewhere. We will for sure not be back, and neither will are friends.

This is a favorite date night spot for my wife and I. The atmosphere is always warm and friendly. The place stays busy, but never feels overcrowded or crammed. The sushi here is one of the best in DFW. First of all, its fresh. For anyone that has ever had bad sushi, you know exactly what I mean. This time, my wife ordered the En Fuego and Whats Up rolls. The En Fuego Roll has just the right amount of heat to balance the sweetness of the tuna and crab. The Whats Up Roll has more spice with the spicy crab, tuna, and salmon. The wasabi mayo gives it an extra tang. Both are equally delicious. I ordered the Miso Seabass. This is a MUST try. The Seabass was soft and flakey; almost melt in your mouth deliciousness! The miso sauce is a little on the sweet side, but not overpowering. All in all, there is a very good reason we come at least once a month, but try for yourself.

I was so sad the Addison location nearest me went downhill & closed, but this ll do whenever I m nearby. I didn t see the spicy ramen on the menu & my Pacific roll didn t have black pepper on the outside of the tuna, but everything else seems the same.

The service staff and manager should receive a negative review. The hostess was cold, unfriendly, and looked annoyed at us for disturbing her. Once seated, it took a while before the waiter came to take our drink order. My wife ordered a caterpillar roll, salmon sashimi, and a salmon roll while I ordered a noodle dish. Both the sashimi and noodles were delivered to the table within 10 minutes. After several more minutes, I began to eat my noodles as they had started cooling while we were still waiting on my wifes food. We continued to wait on her sushi order for several minutes while we watched other tables, who had ordered their sushi after us, receive their sushi. After 10 minutes, I raised my concern to the waiter. He recommended that I be patient, and when I told him about the other tables being served before us, he asked, Are you sure they ordered after you? Yes I am sure, I responded, as we had watched these couples be seated and order after us. Finally, the salmon roll was delivered. We continued to wait on the caterpillar roll. After another 10 minutes, another roll, the Hawaiian roll (i.e. the wrong roll) was delivered to the table. We informed the waiter that this was the wrong roll, and he asked Are you sure you ordered the caterpillar roll? Yes, I am sure of what I ordered. The waiter then took back the roll. He did not, however, expedite the roll. After another 5-7 minutes, I signaled the manager and asked him if the roll was coming out. He stated that it was ready right now, and quickly left the table, presumably to retrieve the roll. We watched him walk away but he did not return. The roll was not ready (we can see the sushi counter). After another 5 minutes, the waiter finally brought the roll. The food was just fair. The taste of hot sauce was very prominent in the noddles and the eel was undercooked in the caterpillar roll. By far, the most frustrating aspect of this visit was the attitude of the staff. To be treated like our expectations for timely and friendly service are unreasonable, is dismaying. We had previously enjoyed our visits to this restaurant, but I cant say that we will ever go again.

Sushi was very good. We were visiting family in town and all decided to go with Sushi Axiom. With this place you need to stick with the food that is in the name. The hot and sour soup had some flavor but was without any HOT, as in temperature or spice. It came out in kinda of a gelatinous consistency and was room temperature if that. The vegetable tempura had no flavor so it was bathed in soy sauce. Edamame was good, not hard to mess that up. Salad with ginger dressing was good. Vegetable fried rice had a good flavor with a little help from soy sauce. The waitress seemed annoyed when we asked a few questions about ordering the sushi. The sushi came out about the time everyone else was done eating. We did not receive any ginger or Wasabi with the sushi. We had to ask for it and to get a new bottle of soy sauce ours was empty after flavoring food. The shushi arrived sbout the time everyone else was about 1/2 done eating. Son in law ordered a chicken dish with lots of onions, which he was warned would have lots of them. Yes they were right LOTS OF ONIONS which he said was ok with...it was cold so they took it back and brought him more which did not seem to have warmed it up any. Unfortunately it too needed flavor. Like I said, if you go for sushi it might be ok. Just remember to ask for soy sauce, ginger and Wasabi when you order. So to say the least I/we were disappointed.

Went in for a takeout order, only 2 rolls, for a favor order. Told us it would take only 20-25 minutes. Bruh, we waited there for at least 45 minutes. Manager and sushi chefs were just bumbling around like bloated pufferfish while i could see my order sit on the counter for at least 10 minutes.
