Honestly this is the wifes an I 2nd time eating here absolutely sensational, had a reservation for 730 was running a tab bit late its all the wifes fault, she dont read reviews so Im blaming it all on her I know some reviews say the have a cauliflower steak as a vegetarian option its no longer available but the have some awesome sides that are delicious You get what you pay for remember that going in Ask for Cat when you walk in and at the hostesses station. She is the sweetest most brutally honest, person there to enhance your dining experience...

The quality of the ingredients and the taste of the food has nosedived since Landry s acquired Del Friscos. They ve cut so many corners. Bread is not made in house, meat quality on steaks is noticeably worse, etc. It s getting to the point where the steaks at Texas Roadhouse supersede what they serve at the Double Eagle. Service and ambiance are still impeccable. The fault for the fall from graces lies with corporate.

Went there for a birthday celebration. Usually we go to one of the steak houses in the Stockyards. So glad we went to Del Friscos. From the minute you walk in the door it s clear to see that this is a quality steak house that takes customer service seriously. We had a reservation for 8 pm and were seated within 10 minutes on a very busy Friday night. Our waiter, Devonte, could not have been more pleasant, helpful, friendly and professional. The food was beyond what we had expected. I had the prime ribeye which was cooked to perfection and one of the most tasty steaks I ve ever had. My wife had the pork chop which was equally great. Can t say enough about Del Friscos. If you re in the mood for a quality steak, don t waste your time at the other places. Go to Del Frisco and ask for Devonte.

I had scallops they were great. The sides were mediocre for the price. The creamed spinach was not good at all and cold when served. The mash potatoes were also cold. They ruined the calamari. It was super sweet. Also they sat me under an AC vent. It was not comfortable at all. I sat at the bar when first got there and the bartenders were yapping with one of the guest as if they were best friends sounding like sorority girls (extremely annoying). The location in Frisco is MUCH BETTER!!

Let me tell you something, I have eaten at a lot of fine dining restaurants and this one, BY FAR is at the top of my list. It starts with the fresh buttery bread that is so addictive. Next, I had the freshest crab cake I have ever eaten and my husband had the ribeye which was amazing and seasoned to perfection. Then the desserts are dangerously good, the whole experience was a 10/10 which I don t say often. Definitely will be going here again.

The server started off attentive and throughout the meal became lazy and rude. She did not check on my table which has a party of 9 until the end of the meal. Food delivery included a bowl of mushrooms being thrown at my dinner guest. I will stick with dining at Capital Grille or Ruths Chris. Almost ruined my birthday celebration, but my guests made up for the poor experience as they all had a great time celebrating with me. I do not recommend this place. Too much hype and very little delivery.

The food was delicious (appetizers had twists to classics that stood out, steaks were cooked as ordered, desserts were rich and not overly sweet) and the service was stellar (Robert was attentive, courteous, and explained the menu and servings well). I almost rated the atmosphere as 4 because the lighting is a bit dark (some of us had to use flashlights to read the menu), but I think that contributed to a warm setting. Oh - and were big fans of the newer dessert: the tiramisu crème brûlée!

The appetizers were really good as was the bread. Unfortunately, I ordered aged steak, medium and came out medium rare with an overcooked exterior. The highlight was the dessert and by dessert I mean the butter cake...it was beyond good!!!!

This is usually our go to spot for a nice meal or a special occasion. We recently went for our anniversary and the service was awful, and the AC wasnt working. It took 45 minutes since we were seated to receive my drink, my wife had already finished her first drink. After telling the waitress what wine I wanted she came back and asked for my drink order 15 minutes later, not even acknowledging I had already told her once. The food took about an hour and a half to come out. We asked for more bread and never received any. I had to tell our waitress the same thing multiple times. My water glass stayed empty. She probably stopped by our table only 4 times which was the bare minimum (to take our drink order, food order, bring our food, and bring our check) over the long 2 hour meal. We usually love the butter cake but that even fell short of expectations. They gave us a free one for our anniversary, which was nice, but it was a miniature version that was cold and hard. I would have paid full price for a better one. When we were waiting for the valet, our waitress came outside and talked to the valet about the AC not working - maybe that is why our waitress was M.I.A. for most of the meal was because she was outside. This has been our favorite spot in the past, but Im not sure if well be back.

My number one choice for a date night or special occasion. Service here is top-notch. No matter your seating, expect your drinks to never go empty. The waiter will climb up and down the 3 floors of this restraint to make sure all of your expectations are met. The thick cut bacon appetizer is melt in your mouth amazing. And the steaks. Good lord, the steaks. When I say I have never tasted anything that brought me quite that close to heaven, I mean in it. They are delicious. And the seafood, especially the scallops. Just perfect. The family sides are delicious as well. My girlfriend could not stop raving about the lobster macaroni and cheese after we left. And the mashed potatoes are just a garlicy butter dream. To wrap it up, we had some of the most creamy cheesecake with a wonderful crust. Unlike any other I have had. it had the perfect crunch and sweetness to compliment the creamy cheesecake and sauce. But to top it all off the atmosphere. We sat upstairs with a view over the dining room. The bar looks exquisite. The whole restraunt is filled with mood lighting and dark woods to give it a true fine dining experience. If you are looking to make a night truly special, I suggest going to del friscos. Parking: The restraunt offers valet to its diners, and it is always quick with no hassle.

Im never one for leaving reviews, but I HAD to drop one for this. My boyfriend and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary last night, and Del Friscos made it a night to remember! First, as soon as we sat down, they delivered a hand-written card wishing us a happy anniversary. Second, I was thoroughly impressed by the staff and their thoughtfulness. Each person who spoke to us also acknowledged our special occasion! Third, our server, Kat, made our first-ever Del Friscos experience so enjoyable. She was personable, knowledgeable, and so, so kind (she even provided us parking suggestions for another area downtown, so that our night could continue smoothly). Fourth, the food and drinks were incredible. They even brought us a special sweet treat to help us celebrate. Finally, the valet staff was also very kind and helpful. We even asked one of them (didnt catch his name) to take a few photos of us on our way out!

We went there on Friday for our 16 year anniversary. Cat was our server & she was awesome; very knowledgeable & attentive. The drinks and appetizers were good. We had the lobster bisque (best Ive ever had) and oysters on the half shell. The bread was just ok IMO. My husband the special, haddock, which definitely wasnt worth $57. The portion was tiny. I had the surf & turf. The steak has incredibly tender. I gave my husband one of the steak medallions because he was still hungry from the small fish entree. We took the lemon cake & chocolate mouse cake to go for dessert. The lemon cake was a huge slice and so fluffy & moist. However the chocolate mouse cake was a little dry and was only a sliver of a slice. Again, not worth the price of $13. I wouldve given 5 stars except I got food poisoning from either the chocolate cake or the lump crab on top of one of the medallions. Im not sure we would go back; that sort of taints your experience.

Was the wedge salad $16 fantastic. Iceberg lettuce is never THAT fantastic. But it was a great experience. The service was impeccable. By the way, dont waste your money on the berries and cream dessert which is nothing but extremely overpriced fresh berries with lackluster whipped cream or on the strawberry -hibiscus cheesecake which was honestly not very good.

Clearly Del Friscos has become part of the Landrys chain. Made a reservation weeks ago and go stuck in an overflow room that was not climate controlled - a back room corner under the AC vent. Food (aged steak) was excellent, wine was over priced, reception was lack luster, and the table service was attentive but over taxed. As a long term FW foodie, I will not bring guests , nor will I return for future meals. There are better choices both downtown or in the nearby areas that can provide a worthy experience consistent with the $200 per person price tag of Del Friscos.

I informed the waiter but he acted like I was trying to get out of paying for the steak and he never brought the manager over. After I paid the bill and left him a hefty tip, I told him again how bad the steak was and he told me that is just how it is sometimes. This steak cost $90 and I could have gotten a better one at Texas Roadhouse. The restaurant was nice but the steak ruined the experience.

This particular Del Frisco s was simply the best steakhouse my family and I have been to since moving from DC to Texas in 2017. Been to many others, but overall quality of the food made by Chef Crystal was excellent. Portions were good. They were hot! She even came out and asked how the food was. One main thing that left us in awe was, my son has a food allergy where he can t do any dairy. We were there for his birthday. She made a small strawberry shortcake that was gluten & dairy free, and brought it out herself. Who does that these days? Plus, our waitress - Ashley, was nothing less than superb herself. Kept us with how rolls and cold drinks. What a night to enjoy and celebrate. This while the place was semi-packed on a Wednesday due to a convention being held. We were impressed and will definitely be back! Dietary restrictions: Glad there was at least an option and a chef who understood we had a child with gluten and dairy allergies

I gave this a 2 star stickily because of the food. Our server was great and the atmosphere of the place was awesome. We had a New Years eve 4pm reservation and they opened the doors right at 4pm and were seated right away. For appetizers we had the Think-Cut Nueskes Bacon which was great and a dozen shucked oysters. I will be honest, I would have been embarrassed to serve these oysters at ANY restaurant due to their small size, much less at a Prime restaurant. The largest oyster was not even dime sized. We even questioned each other if some of the shells had any meat in them, very disappointing. I dont like overly large oysters but this is going too far to the other extreme with the small sized oysters. We then moved on to the steaks, 2 of us ordered the Prime Ribeye and the other 2 ordered Filet Mignon. Both the Prime Ribeyes were at best Select grade if that high. The meat was tough, very veiny, and maybe one of the worst steaks Ive ever had at a Prime Steak restaurant. Also, if you dont eat spicy food they season the steaks with something moderately spicy. I eat some spice at times but the wife does not and nothing on the menu eluded to this. One of the filets were good and tender, but one again was tougher than it should have been and both were over spiced. Ordered chimichurri to top the steak, it was good but too runny and needed to be thicker. All the sides were great and we shared the Roasted Wild Mushrooms, Creamed Spinach, Truffle Twice Baked Potatoes, and Creamed Corn. Only one dessert was ordered and it was the Chocolate Mousse cake, my wife said it was ok, but not the best. Lastly, I dont send food back except if it cooked unsafely like chicken being raw. I just learn and move on and write a review and maybe try again way down the road. Will not come back for a LONG time if at all, too many other Prime Steak restaurants to give this a try again and the seasoning on the steak probably wouldnt every change so, in short wont go back.

Went here for a Christmas party. Service was fantastic food was pretty good just very rich which I am sure is what most people want when they go out for an expensive meal Parking: Parking is valet only unless you want to park in the garage around the corner and walk. $9 for valet parking which is not a bad price.

The waiters serving our food told me to be careful not to touch the plate because its very hot, but eating the food was cold.. I was very appointed and very hungry but the food was horrible

Del Friscos came highly recommended to us. Unfortunately, I would not go back for a holiday meal again. The picture: reservation for 2 at 7:15 on Christmas Day to celebrate our 11 year anniversary and Christmas. The good: fantastic lobster mac and cheese, overall delicious butter cake, and very balanced and unique cocktails. The bad: INCREDIBLY slow service, 2nd serving of bread wasnt fully proofed or baked (still raw dough), overpriced steaks and lobster for the quality (Id rather go to different high-end steakhouses with better service), unevenly seasoned bacon appetizer, and overall uninviting staff/atmosphere. The cake was good, but it had an overbaked/hard spot w/ uneven sugar crumb. For time reference, at least 3 other tables sat, ate, and left before we got dessert, and we were there from 7:15-9:45. I expected so much more from this location. Its a beautiful restaurant but leaves much to be desired this holiday season. I felt rushed out by the end of the night, even though we didnt get our entrees until over an hour after wed been there. I understand its Christmas Day, but Del Friscos is an established and well-respected restaurant; they knew they would be busy.

We loved our meal at Del Friscos. We both had the filet, which was perfect, and we shared the creamed spinach, chateau potatoes, and mushrooms. We expected everything to be good, but it was truly perfect and we would highly recommend this restaurant to anybody. Our waiter Bradley was very friendly and extremely attentive. Our dessert - butter cake - was comped because the restaurant was very busy and I think they thought the service was slow, but we enjoyed the entire experience. Oh, and if you like Old Fashioneds, I recommend the Earl Grey Old Fashioned. Its something different and it was very good.

Our server was not attentive, leaving us without drinks for over 25 minutes. The steak was unflavorful, the sauce was the best part of the scallops, and the butter cake was burnt and inedible. The best part were the sides and Santa Sleigh drink (when I finally got it). Not the experience we expected; truly disappointed.

Five friends went to celebrate the holiday and ourselves with a nice dinner..... we shouldve stuck with our usual sports bars. Bar service before going to our table was great. Our server was nice and attentive, however the food was NOT up to par that you would expect for the price. We waited for over an hour for our meals after ordering. Two steaks were extremely undercooked, they were ordered well done, came out rare/med rare. After being sent back twice we finally asked they be returned and taken off the tab. One of our meals didnt get to the table for 30 minutes after the others. All of the sides (ordered a la carte) were barely warm. I really felt bad for the service staff as I noticed these same complaints at tables around us. While Ive worked in the service industry and I know we all have bad days, I highly doubt I will ever go back to this restaurant, its not worth the money spent.

Serverice was sub par for a restaurant of this caliber. Our waiter clearly had to many tables and the staff nearly ran us over on the stairs when we left. The food was also marginal at best. The salmon was beyond over cooked. The chicken felt like it was cooked in microwave. The cheese cake they brought out as a complimentary birthday treat tasted spoiled.

Landrys! What have you done to my Del s?!! I should share that I ve been a customer at this location for 35 years and frequently take customers to other locations when traveling out of town. Sadly, the food and service is suffering from a corporate downsizing and commitment to profitability. Never have I seen the amount of deterioration of such a cherished and loved restaurant. In detail, you can now expect smaller and less quality drinks, sides and salads. The small-sizing effort is extensive and sad. The service is sans the years long professionals which honed their craft to an exemplary level. Gone is the personal touch that made this restaurant remarkable. And lastly, gone is my patronage and many referrals I have always provided. Time to move on and find a non corporate owned steakhouse committed to personal service and quality food. Pray for us ya ll!

Great place. Wonderful service, beautiful atmosphere. The oysters had weird peppers that distracted from the oysters. The croutons were hard as can be The baked potato was overloaded with cheese so it was just lumps of congeiled, not melted cheese. And omg, a prime steak does not need to be salt encrusted! Its prime steak, just use fire! Same sins all steak houses make. To much salt..... Anyway, I will go again. They were great

We had a decent experience when we went but they treat their employees horrible. Our server was very great but this was the first night she had worked in over a month because they keep telling her not to come in. Very unprofessional of them as I have worked in the service business before. We were sitting at an upstairs table in the corner and it was a decent view but the servers did keep bumbing the back of my chairs. Not the biggest deal, but the roaches I saw on the wall and brought it up to our server and they said it was a common thing. Definitely will not be going back to this location and I hope they soon get new management that cares about their location and employees.

I usually dont leave bad reviews I just dont like to however today was my second time eating at Del Friscos the First time was about 10 years ago and I came back because the first time I had the best steak I have ever had anywhere and I used to Rave about this place. Today I went with my sister in law and she ordered the 8 oz. Filet and she loved it but she said they didnt have the avocado ranch anymore. Neither of us liked the bread it was too sweet I prefer Ruth Chris bread its much better by far. The bread was like a sweet cinnamon roll tasting type of bread. I had the Blue Cheese Lettuce Wedge and it was good and tasted the exact same as Ruth Chris I know because I had Ruth Chris twice last weekend. From the Chilled Menu I tried the Chilled Lobster Cocktail and the Jumbo Lump Crab Cocktail. I liked the Jumbo Lump Crab Cocktail but I didnt care for the Chilled Lobster Cocktail and I have never had Lobster that I disliked before so that was a surprise. The Steak I chose was the Prime Tomahawk 32 oz. $130 and the steak I chose to be cooked medium. When the steak came it looked great however the amount of Seasoning Salt on it was so much I couldnt taste the steak or barely stand to eat it. It was seasoned like I would season a steak if I were going to try to ruin it or if I didnt like the person. Mike was our waiter he came to the table after he had delivered the chilled dishes and neither of us liked the Chilled Lobster so he took it away (we both had two bites of it) and he mentioned he would remove it from our bill (I didnt expect him to or ask him to all I did is honestly answer him when he questioned how we liked it) When he came out to ask about the Steak I told him it was terrible and I didnt like it. He didnt offer to replace it or remove it from my bill or even ask me if I wanted something else which at that point I should have requested something else. I didnt finish the steak and I have never went to a steak house and ordered steak and not finish my steak if that tells you how bad it was especially it being a $130 steak. Our bill came to $294 and some change I left him a $50 tip and we went on our way. After this experience I decided to write the review so if someone else is going to go there and especially if they only ever go there once they know to tell the cook to go easy on the salt because he destroyed the steak. I will go to Ruth Chris next time I want a steak. I hate to feel regretful and salty afterwards but thats how I feel it was the most expensive meal I have ever had and the most disappointing to say the least. I took a video of the food if you would like to see it. The cream corn in my opinion was nothing to brag about and the cream spinach wasnt anything special either neither side would I recommend or order again.
