My baby likes this park, he plays on its slides and then likes to walk around it. I think its a safe place, just a little lonely. Playground: It is in good condition and has a good size, small and large slides. Dog-friendliness: In general you can walk with your animals

True story in 1978 meet Bob n Maria they walked the park every weekend keep it clean pick up trash , now two years ago are to old. I try picking up where I walk , still trash piles up . City n people really don t care about it anymore. Seems like . ? Put US flags for Captain Marcos out each yr . City did put additional side walks in very nice. Old bridge needs new planks. Still fair park , all we have , to visit . Try to enjoy n please pick up after ya self.

I give this park 4 stars simply because the city needs to build a series of ponds in that park for fishing there are not any ponds on the west side. If they would do so maybe kids would get out from in front of the TV sets.

We were really happy to find this cute little play area near our neighborhood. When fall comes the weather is perfect to take my granddaughter, who is just learning to walk out here to get some fresh air on a beautiful day. We had a little Chick-fil-A picnic and then she swang in the baby swing and played on the play structures and just had a wonderful time. It s always fun to discoverNew places to go close to where you live.

Cute little park along a really great walking path. Has a covered pavilion with picnic tables and several benches around. Street parking only. The benches have a plastic layer that is degrading, which can snag clothes.

A great place for a walk or even a cookout with the family, especially in spring when the rains clear or in autumn when the sun is lower. In the summer, however, it definitely gets heat blasted and dries up quickly.

George Markos Park, one of the most beautiful, tranquil and picturesque parks in Ft.Worth, I would have to say. It starts with the name, Mr. Markos happens to be the first Tarrant County resident to make the ultimate sacrifice in the Vietnam War. Next attribute would have to be location, location, location. Nestled away in far west Ft.Worth, its borders run along a water way know as Farmers Branch, slightly downstream from multiple confluences. It also cuts its way through several housing divisions circa 80s and 90s construction, and is best described as very Americana or an all American neighborhood. The kind of place where the police come and get your cat out of the tree. Last but not least the facilities. There are around 7-8 park benches and tables along a 3/4 mile walking trail that twists and turns along the creek. There is a well maintained and modern play area next to a small pavillion like area. It seems like everytime that I walk along or through the park, I discover something new. Try this for a different view, walk the length of the park in the creek bed, its an amazing journey.

Wonderful paved nature trail 3/4 of a mile long from start to finish. Dog friendy place to walk with your four legged friends. Clean and litter free, more than one couple walks this daily and picks up litter as they go.
