Great park to walk around in a safe neighborhood. Lots of free gym equipment near the main lot. If you play Pokémon GO, there are lots of stops and a gym here; makes a nice circuit to lure up and stops reset spins by the time you get back around. Pavilion can be rented for events. No restrooms nearby though.

Our Cub Scout Pack reserved the pavilion for our back to school & start of the Cub year event. We even had recruiting signs up. The kids, Cubs and younger family members had a great time on the playground equipment. It was over 100 degrees, but the hill to the west blocked the sun at 6:00 PM. So it was not unpleasant.

This park is a favorite! It s well shaded, close to trails, and you can see the whole playground from any of the benches, which is a game changer as a parent! It s also rarely busy which is a big perk!

Thanks to the City of Fort Worth and Parks & Rec, the CCC, and the WPA. Forest Park is an amazingly beautiful and integral part of what makes our city great. Thanks to those leaders with vision and foresight that shaped the unique culture that is Fort Worth Texas. We need to create more places like this today. Playground: Playground Indeed! Not when I was a kid, but the place has become more tame over the years. Im glad weve invested in our existing parks. Lets build or at least set aside land for more. Toilets: Yes. Dog-friendliness: Yes, Picnic area: Yes. Lots.

This park is such a great place to go when you want to relax. It is pretty big with a lot of space. This park is perfect for a nice afternoon. This park has quite a few things to do. The exercise machines are pretty worn out. They are pretty stiff. The playground is perfect for kids and kids at heart. The paths have a few cracks, but it s not enough to be bad. The water is my biggest concern. It is so dirty and green. And some parts of the river are dried up and filled with rocks . It looks so unkept. The ducks look sad when they see their home. City of Fort Worth, please fix the water. It looks so bad. TLDR: a nice park with dirty water. 4/5 would recommend

I love this park but I am dismayed by the condition of the ponds on the upstream section of the park. They were once lovely clean ponds with ducks and turtles. Now theyre full of algae and trash, and so silted up there are tall weeds and young trees growing where there should be water. They desperately need dredging.

Poke stops and gyms!! The setting is wonderful. Trees and walking paths and a stream to follow. The walking paths are paved so they allow for easy acess for wheelchairs. Since mast of the paths are tree lined you dont get over exposed in the sunlight. There are houses along the paths so you ferl relatively safe when on the paths. It is a great place to relax or exercise.
