It was our 1st time here. Customer service was horrible. We ordered coffee and it took way too long to get because they had to heat it up. Then when it finally came, it was cold and tasted like bottom of pot coffee. Didnt offer us any sugar or creamer. I had to ask for spoon because they didnt remember to give us some. They brought large soup spoons for our tiny coffee cup. Our original.waiter never came to take our order, had to get the bartender to do it. Food was not good, big disappointment. All in all, a bad experience. Will not recommend or come back.

Great music and vibes. Beautiful interior and exterior. Octopus and queso fundido were fabulous. Fajitas were good, but the rice, to be honest, tasted like Uncle Ben s microwaveable rice with no flavor. They had a large party upstairs so service was spotty, but server was very kind and friendly. The ice cream trio was so good. Definitely made in house. Cajeta was my favorite with that sweet and salty taste. Will definitely come back. Hoping the rice will improve. Drinks were great as well. Great place to take friends or have a happy hour at.

$10 for a taco that s the size of 2 fingers, Check. Subpar to zero flavor, check. Forgetful experience, check. To be honest, I wish I went to Taco Bell instead. At least the tacos would have been appropriate size with flavor and cost $20 versus the hundred dollars. I spent.

A group of us arrived at the restaurant for our evening meal and asked if we could sit at the rooftop patio, which we were quickly escorted up there to a beautiful table, waiting for us. We were able to see the downtown views, as well as the neighboring neighborhood around us. the weight staff was on point, very dedicated to our group and the manager came over and visited with us. He was a very nice young man. The food was on point, please refer to the pictures. I got carrots, which were awesome crispy and tasty. We got the potato taco which is called like a Paco. We also got in the corn wedge salad, which was amazing and . we got the queso with chips, which was unbelievably awesome. Overall a great great meal, really had a lovely lovely time there. Recommended for anybody who is in the south main area also known as the Near Southside.

Our first time to eat here. The atmosphere was very industrial chic. Gorgeous cut crystal glassware on the tables with a warehouse brick backdrop. The bar is beautiful! The staff is attentive and accommodating. We ordered the chicken tamale basket.( 3 to an order) They were absolutely delicious. I know its on the appetizer menu But I would order these as an entree and eat them all by myself!!! The queso was also wonderful. Very creamy and topped with a type of cilantro chimmichuri oil. So fantastic! They have another bar on the second floor. And they have two outdoor patios. One on the street level and one on the rooftop! with an exceptional view of downtown Ft Worth!! Great place for a Saturday get together with friends, a relaxed Sunday brunch or an elegant Friday datenight dinner!!

I came with a group this past week. Ive got to say, I ABSOLUTELY will not be coming back. Neither will any of my party. First, our waitress was impolite and unpleasant. It took several times to get a second drink, waiting like 15 minutes to get them without any update. I understand the kitchen/bar being backed up due to being a full house, but an update is appreciated when you come by. Second, the serving sizes was horriblely small even for a family size fajita split between two people. Apparently, a play on their restaurant name Im assuming. Third, I have never been told that you have a limit on how many checks you can have at a table. We also DID NOT get any receipts before being expected to pay. I have always expected a receipt beforehand as is customary. When I was a waitress I always made sure to have that at the ready for any group and however they needed the checks spilt. I wanted to like this establishment going into the evening with my party. Was left disappointed and hungry after being there for two and a half hours waiting on item after item. I loved the rooftop atmosphere and it was a special place to be for us. It didnt counterbalance the experience that we received. Honestly, will be going to Blue Goose or Uncle Julios next time since the prices are comparable and experiences have been wonderful every time.

Tinies Restaurant on South Main Street in Fort Worth offers a chill vibe with rooftop dining that provides stunning views of the skyline at dusk. Nestled in the heart of Main Street nightlife, it s the perfect spot for a memorable date night. The cocktails are amazing, with a creative twist that stands out. Not your average fajitas, the dishes are top-notch, complemented by top-shelf appetizers. The ambiance, quality food, and exceptional drinks make Tinies a standout choice for both casual evenings and special occasions. Highly recommended for those seeking a unique dining experience in Fort Worth.

The place has changed a lot since we first started coming. The menu has changed quit a bit which wouldn t necessarily be an issue if the food quality was still the same. We ordered the goat cheese salad to split, and two different taco dishes. The salad was nothing like we ve had previously. The tacos were accompanied by a pile of clump that was supposed to be a hearty cabbage mix. Not worth the drive across Fort Worth anymore.

Had high hopes for this place, everything was lack luster. Made reservations for a younger siblings birthday for the rooftop patio but sat outside at a dirty table with spider in the chair, not upstairs. The cocktails were pretty good not to over priced but the food is a different story. The pork tacos and the combo fajitas tasted like it was from the frozen section of the grocery store. Our server was great and fast and knew the menu very well. Our table requested virgin cocktails and he was quick to accommodate for us.

Our first interaction with our waitress was her telling me they don t serve cheap (waitress used air quotes) tequila when I asked for a tequila listed in THIER website while ordering drinks. Ordered the empanadas, duck tacos, and pork enchiladas. All the food came at once, but no biggie. Empanadas were fantastic, fluffy pastry dough, good filling, definitely looked homemade. Duck tacos were very dry and bland, not worth the $16 for two street sized tacos and store bought home fries. Enchiladas were good, the mole verde sauce really tied the dish together. Overall the place was pretty dead except for having a private party going on stairs. At the end of the meal, waitress wanted me to just pay without being able to look at the check and only offered to print anything until after payment was complete. Not the best experience overall.

The server was Bre (Breanna ) and she was awesome chatting with and quite receptive and hospitable. The empanadas and the margaritas were really good, I plan on visiting here again in a few days. Walked in without a reservation, was greeted and seated immediately. Very friendly staff. Salsa had slight heat and a smoky taste that went great with the fajitas. Fajitas came with corn and flour tortillas. Everything was very flavorful. Pozole was thicker than normal but my husband said it was really good. Restaurant was more on the smaller side (which wasn t a problem), they do have an upstairs also though. Lighting was dim but still could see your food. Would definitely give this place a try if you want your mexican food a little more on the authentic side.

The building itself is the best feature of Tinies, with architect-designed rustic decor setting the stage for a memorable dining experience. The indoor lighting is dark, even on a blazing summer evening, and the sound borders on too live, both things people with aging eyes and ears need to consider. Our pretty young server was so attentive and friendly it felt like she was angling for an invitation to sit down and join us; more of a distraction than an asset to the experience. The menu promises small, exquisitely prepared dishes, meant more to savor than fill a hungry belly. I thought I had found my new favorite restaurant when the shrimp ceviche arrived, but the tacos--two to an order and exactly four bites of meat filling in a corn tortilla each--failed to impress. Tinies is a wonderful place to share a lovely, expensive meal and not go off your diet.

At Tinie s Mexican Cuisine in Fort Worth, I encountered what can only be described as a masterclass in poor service. From the moment we walked up and sat down the lights were turned off and we were met with hostility from a gentlemen there as if we were on his personal property rather than entered a dining establishment. The audacity of the staff, particularly one individual, to interrupt our conversation was not only jarring but completely uncalled for. The ambiance, tainted by this utter disregard for customer comfort, left a sour taste that no dish could remedy. Save your time, energy, and money there are countless places in Fort Worth that are more deserving of your patronage. Tinie s, unfortunately, is not one of them.

We had great service (Daniel was our server), and the food was delicious. We highly recommend the ceviche and pork tacos. We went on Taco Tuesday when the tacos and house margaritas are a discounted price. My only complaint that will keep us from returning frequently is the prices and portions. For the small taco size, the special/lower Taco Tuesday prices ($3-6 per taco) should be the regular price seriously 1 taco is 2-3 bites. The ceviche was excellent but either it needs more shrimp or the price needs to be reduced about 25-30 percent. The tuna tostada was very good, but it also seems about 25 percent too expensive for the size. In total we spent $66 for a house margarita (very good), a can of beer, ceviche, tuna tostada, and 3 tacos. We were very pleased with our food and experience, and we are likely to return but only for a special occasion and on a discount price Taco Tuesday night.

No one in the place but they made us wait for a table. Not kidding. No one in the downstairs dining at all. Not one person. Took forever to get drinks and the least expensive thing was a can of Modelo which they charged $7.50 for. If your gonna charge a premium for drinks and no one is in the dining room then get them out to the guest quickly it took at least 10 minutes. Water with no ice. Common man. We are in Fort Worth, Texas!!!! Chips say house made, but darn if they were you need to learn how to make chips. I buy some tostados at the Mexican grocery, good enough for home tostados, but not great. These seemed exactly the same. I can t believe real Fort Worth folks are rating this place around a 4. Seems something fishy going on. $250+ for dinner. Lots better places in Fort Worth.

My second visit here. We brought my s.i.l. who was in town. Tables were all reserved so we ate at the bar upstairs. The bar staff was super busy but they were alot of fun and great at what they do. We had the roasted chicken large format and the tenderloin tacos, soon chips and guac, and queso. I also ordered the side of hongos (mushrooms). Everything was phenomenal. The tortillas were everything! The salsas were perfect. The drinks were libacious and the atmosphere was electric. Vegetarian options: The hongos (mushrooms - hen of the woods) and the zanoria (glazed carrot) and the guacamole are excellent vegatarian options

I ve visited Tinies a number of times and have never been disappointed! From solo hangs to dinner with loved ones or friends. They ve got a great rotating seasonal menu, cocktails, tequilas and Mezcal s. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. They ve got indoor and outdoor seating on both their first and second floor. I usually always order their Aguachile and Tuna Tostadas. Last time I visited I tried their Crispy Octopus and it will be a new regular order now. So soft and delicious.

The food was pretty good, and the service was ok as well. My wife and I ordered 3 items off the menu, as well as a few drinks which cost over $100. My biggest complaint is definitely the pricing, which was way way too expensive in my opinion, especially for the tiny portions. If it was 25%-30% cheaper Id consider going again.

Tinies is a pretentious attempt to combine young Texan vibes with Mexican gastroculture. The place is cozy but very noisy. The disco music mixes with the intense background noise, torpedoing any attempt to maintain a normal conversation. The young and very chic waitress served us a glass of very warm water (tap). We ordered some cocktails, house specialties, they took a while, but they were very good. The Mezcales and Tequilas menu is impressive and perhaps the most Mexican in this place. We ordered 6 appetizers, most of them pretty average. They serve an outstanding grilled octopus but unfortunately, it is the only dish with any personality in this establishment. For starters we had ordered Mexican-style roast chicken, Mahi Mahi with Veracruz sauce and Asado al Pastor. Unfortunately, all three dishes were quite bland and frankly without any Mexican touch although they served taqueria tortillas and the usual black beans (probably from a can). As if on autopilot, the waitress asked us how was the food but she was negative when she heard our answer . The head chef needs a boil or simply needs to go to Mexico to understand what Mexican gastronomy is all about. Waitresses must attend a customer service course. Its sad when the result lands far from expectation.

TRAGIC EXPERIENCE, FOOD, AND SERVICE. My GF and I were really looking forward to trying this place for my birthday. Sadly that quickly ended when we were seated. We made a reservation early on in the week. No issues being seated promptly. The hostess was very kind and accommodating however, as soon as we sat down we waited about 10 min and had still not been greeted by a server. The worst part is we watched a table that was seated after us place a full drinks and food order while we had hot water on our tbl. I finally flagged down the hostess to ask if we had a server and our server came by a few minutes later. She did not seem concerned at all that we had been waiting so long when I asked for iced water she replied i can bring you some ice then she proceeded to bring me a pitcher of water with 3 ice cubes in it. Once we placed our appetizer and drink order we still waited another 10 minutes to get the appetizer(red snapper aguachile which was more like 3 pieces of smelly fish and strawberries) but still no drinks and no sense of urgency from our waitress. At this point we did not feel it was worth us trying anything else. I informed our waitress we were not going to order anything more and she did not seem apologetic or even concerned about keeping our business. I am SHOCKED at how bad the service is here. And this place definitely is not anywhere close a 4 star restaurant If I could give less than 1 star, I would.

Welllllll, I wanted so bad to love this place, maybe brunch wasnt the time to test it. I let my elderly parents out at the door and had to park 2 blocks away, no big deal. By the time I walked back to the restaurant, no one had even visited the table. (There was only 2 other parties of 2 in the restaurant, by the way.) When a waiter finally visited the table, I requested normal menus for the table instead of the QR code because I saw a stack of them by the door. He brought 1 for the entire table lol. Queso with chips was great, my espresso martini was great and my dad said his margarita was great. Thats as far as the great went. The tuna tostada was terrible. Picture a tostada and then put sushi bar tuna on top. Its like they tried to hard to be eclectic. The empanadas were just crust and chicken and very dry. Lastly, STOP DO NOT PASS GO ON THE SHRIMP CEVICHE!!!!! ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!! Once again, someone needs to scale back their desire to be the next break out top chef in eclectic Mexican food! I will not be back for the food but will be back to sit upstairs for the BEAUTIFUL view of the Fort Worth skyline!

What a freaking a joke! We have never been in before and have been so excited to try the food. The restaurant itself is beautiful. The sad part is the service is an absolute joke. It s a Friday night at 9:00, so it was extremely quite. We were seated pretty quickly, but the server took a while to come to the table. Never once did she offer a menu or even where to find a menu. Once we managed to find one, we ordered an appetizer, which was delivered by someone else. We had to flag her down to get anything else throughout the evening. Never once did we have the chance to order a beer or drink, since the waitress wouldn t come back to the table. We had to go to the bar to get water! The worst part, she was supposedly a trainer! What food we did finally get, was just okay. Very disappointed!

Be aware Tinies is more like a Tapas bar than a restaurant. Prices are exorbitant for the large format dishes and excessive for the small format dishes. Theyre not worth it.

The best thing we had was the beef, which was also the most expensive thing. I could ve bought 20 tacos somewhere else for the price of the meat that was served. I wish they had bigger portions or lowered their crazy high prices if they want to have tiny portions.

Another Ft Worth foodie told me about Tinies and suggest giving it a try. We showed up to Tinies around 3pm on a Saturday, the dining room was fairly empty with at least 5 open tables. I was immediately told by the host that if I didn t have a reservation, they could not seat me. My only option was to sit at the bar. I ended up leaving. I made a reservation and came back for brunch on a Sunday. We were seated at the smallest table in the building and I asked to be moved to a regular sized table. After allowing us to move to a different table, our server came by and took drink orders, we also ordered the Empanadas as they seemed very popular. The empanada filling was tender and delicious, but the outside was more like a soft dough instead of a crispier texture. Not sure if this is normal or if we got premature empanadas. We also ordered the Pappas Y Hongos and Tora with side salad. If you don t read anything else, read this next sentence: If you are not a mushroom fanatic, do not order this menu item. I was under the assumption that this would be more heavy on the potatoes, eggs, etc with some mushrooms mixed in, but that was not the case. I basically got a plate filled with carmelized mushrooms with a side of soggy potatoes and a fried egg on top. It was very hard to eat and it was really disappointing. The Torta was good, but it was mostly bread and some lettuce leaves on the side. For 3 food items and water, our bill was $50+ and the plates were very small. Not sure if Tinies refers to their portion sizes or something else, but overall unimpressed. I posted some pictures as well to show the food complaints. As you can see, the Torta is mostly bread with minimal fillings. The salad is basically a few lettuce leaves with stuff thrown on top. Overrated. Can t recommend this place based on my two experiences.
