The food is always good here best authentic Mexican but I had a horrible experience this time, I came in and ordered by 3:39 pm and didn t get my food til 4:08pm. I had to go up to them to ask do you have an order for Abbie they were confused then there was laughing going on. Idk if it s because of the color of my skin being white or what but I won t be back and I won t be recommending it anymore to anyone. I highly recommend if you can go anywhere else do it. There s plenty of other birria tacos for about the same price and you get more anyways.

It was my first time here. They have parking in the front but it cost. I don t know how much. We parked in the back for free. But there is not much parking. Love the look of this place. You have the choice of eating inside or out on the patio. Service was great. We got our food in a decent time. I had been wanting to try Birria tacos for a long time. So I ordered that. You get 3 tacos, a couple slices of radish, half a jalapeño & a tiny bit of sautéed onions. & sauce for $14. I thought it was pricey for 3 tacos and they were good but not great. Kinda blan. My husband got barbocoa burrito it comes with cheese, beans & rice inside the burrito. And he ordered a side of rice & beans because we didn t know it came in the burrito. We both also ordered a bottle coke each. Total was $40 & change. I don t mind going there again to try other things but I m done with the birria tacos.

My favorite taco place in Fort Worth thus far! I ve been here multiple times since my first visit. The margaritas are great and the steak tacos are amazing! Edit: This was short lived. I have literally been here a number of times since my third visit when I initially wrote this review. Every single time there s just something. They ll charge your card for something you order, only to tell you a minute later that they don t have it and will need to refund you. Today, they charged my partners card for two chip and queso, told us they didn t have chips but turns out they were just too lazy to fry them. When I asked for my refund in cash, miraculously they have chips, that just needed to be fried. They weren t out of them so why lie? Probably won t come back here for a while or ever. Haven t decided. I spend a lot here and not to mention drive 35 minutes to come here. The communication between the staff is terrible and they don t know good customer service. The food is good , when they actually have it Do better!

Good spot for tacos, but its nothing to rave about. Food is priced above average, parking is extremely limited and will also cost you. The staff is friendly and welcoming and will offer their favorites if you ask politely. Do not expect to be treated as if you are always right. In fact, customers are generally wrong and being a jerk will always get you bad service. Be kind, be respectful, and just order food... theres no need to question everything or anything about something or anyone. Oh, and the melon-flavored water was delicious!

This place is a great lunch spot and I love their trompo pork. They have good chips that seem way fresher than any other place and the spicy verde and rojo salsa are BOMB. They make tortillas fresh all day, and their service is super fast. Parking could be better but if you park curbside and check in on the app its free normally. I cannot wait to come back for Margaritas soon!

Great tacos, best horchata I ever had, & the elote was super good too! I ordered to go but the place has a very nice atmosphere and the layout is so awesome! They have a front patio area that s nice and shady too. The only thing is paying for parking. Parking is limited but I am so happy with my food and it was quick. I went on Tuesday for their plate special on the three tacos (steak and barbacoa) with rice and beans. It comes with salsa Superb! The horchata is by far the best horchata I ever had. And the Elote in a cup was so good too I enjoyed everything I bought and will definitely be coming back to dine in ! Parking: Paid parking with street parking and parking lot in the back.

Elotes were good, I wish they had dumped some chile powder or tajin in there to really set it off. Guys with me raved about their CA burritos. Cool place and vibe overall, but most of the seats are outdoors and the rain made this busy place pretty hard to get a seat inside.

Stayed at the hotel around the corner and walked over to get dinner Togo. I ordered birria tacos and a chips and queso. It was $24 for 3 small tacos and a chips and queso. Ridiculous. They don t have a working website (the website on their google results didn t work). The service was fine, nothing to brag or complain about. The food came out fairly fast. When I opened the queso, it had the look and consistency of vanilla pudding. It literally jiggled and when I turned the container upside down it remained in the container without changing shape or dripping out. Very unappetizing. The tacos were fine, just ungodly expensive for the tiny portions. I don t think I would eat here again.

The birria and consomé is my go to when I come here. The tortillas aren t as crispy as I ve had before in birria but the brisket is amazing! It s full and well seasoned bringing extra flavor to the consomé. The soup is nice but I ve had more savory, soul touching soup. The chips are by far my favorite chips in Dfw bc they re thick and crispy and hold guac, salsa, and queso better. The ambience is chill and laid back. I love the area bc it s walking distance to the apartments and shopping. Kid-friendliness: Considering the owners kids were freely running around and the son walked up to me and looked me dead in the eye before taking a chip and dipping it in my queso then walking away, I d say you re more than welcome to bring your kids here.

This whole place is a vibe. You order at the counter and can sit indoors or on the patio. Theres a huge glass window where you see the kitchen making your order, and they make everything from scratch, including the chips (which are to die for). The queso was a little blah for me. Not a lot of flavor and its a but too thick and rich, but the homemade chips make up for it. The birria is so delicious!! You can tell it has a smoky spice to it that I absolutely loved. They have a bar, so you can also drink. Ill definitely be back to try other things!

The go to spot if you want Birria tacos. The Birria tacos I ordered were some of the best I ve had. Hot , crispy , cheesy , moist meat and the consume to dip in was great. Wait time will go up if you order the Birria tacos as they are cooked to order. I also had a trompo taco - meat was great and tortilla fresh . Wife ordered barbacoa tacos , and she loved them , although I tried a bite and thought her meat was a little dry. We also got a side of Spanish rice it was light and fluffy. Prices are definitely on the high end as is expected for the area it s in. Both house sauces are HOT. There is no mild. Apply with caution Cashier at the front that took our order needs some customer relations training. Learn to put on a smile and say more words than just what do you want and your total is xxx with a scowl on her face . Other than that no problems with any other employees . Establishment is clean inside with outdoor seating with umbrellas on tables and a shaded decked area. Free parking across the street. I would return for sure , but won t be a regular thing due the price . 3 Birria tacos are 15 dollars .. and yes while I admit the quality is fantastic in them that s still on the high side considering I can eat 6 minimum.

**VERY Disappointing** I was so excited to find this place. Looks like a hole in the wall place with a small menu. I was hoping their tacos were going to be authentic. My husband and I ordered chips and queso, elote, a barbocoa taco and a Trompo taco (on a corn tortilla with cilantro and onions). The chips were ok, no seasoning at all. The queso tasted canned. The barbocoa meat had absolutely no seasoning. It tasted like bland pot roast. I was floored. The Trompo was ok, it had seasoning at least. The elote was a cup of canned corn with cheese and a tiny tiny lime wedge No seasoning at all. We could not even finish our food. The customer service was 5/5, very friendly. Food was 1/5. Unfortunately we will not be back.

In an empty restaurant . Soo many better Taco options, this should be ur last resort.

You re maybe wondering why 4 stars instead of 5. When I first pulled up I heard the music down the street. I knew this places was going to be good because the second I entered the building, I was seeing fresh tortillas being pressed. I knew I found the right restaurant. So I went ahead to test the waters. The food was fantastic. The steak was seasoned!! They even had birria tacos, you know the Tacos with the Dipp. I recommend this place to all. They had fresh chopped onions with the cilantro. Extra like was given to me without asking. The sauce was fireee, literally. But yeah I had to give this place 4 stars. Pretty expensive for tacos and the burritos was small. Still was a good eat. I will definitely be taking a girl out here to try the margaritas

Overall this is a spot we would definitely visit the next time were in Fort Worth. The service was great. The guy who took our order greeted us with a smile, was friendly, and was kind and patient as our party decided what we wanted to order. I had the birria with was really good. The consome was great! The only thing I would have added alwas onions and cilantro to the actual tacos instead of just on the consome. My dining partner had the chicken quesadilla. He said it was good but wished it had a little more cheese pull. All of our food was piping hot, which we loved. We went early, so no cocktails this go round. Will definitely be trying the margaritas next time. The churros were pretty good too. We tried one of each. The chips were freshly homemade. Delicious! The queso was lacking flavor a bit, but still decent. Just not great. And we got all of that for $40! Cant beat it in this economy! As for atmosphere, we sat inside and loved being able to see into the kitchen and watching the tortillas being made. The door was open a lot due to people coming in and out, so there were a few flies. But they werent awfully bothersome. Just had to play a little round of shoo fly for part of our visit. They also have plenty of patio seating. All in all, were excited to try more of the menu when we come back.

I got takeout & it was a great decision. The tacos & nachos were delicious. The esquites were good, although missing the chili powder I m accustomed to. I d gladly return and I look forward to trying their drinks on my next visit

I absolutely love dining at this restaurant. Last night my wife and I dined in, I had a serious craving for some of the birria tacos that they have. Im currently avoiding beef and they were so kind to go out of their way and make them with chicken for me. They were fantastic as always. Crisp, and fresh. The service is quick too. I have zero complaints about this place. Food and service is on par. Keep it up! Yall are doing a fantastic job. Cannot wait to return!

Super tasty food! Really good after a hangover! If you don t know what to get I d recommend the nachos and trying an agua fresca. The prices have gotten a little on the higher side, but it s expected for the area. Parking can get a little tricky in the area. The staff are friendly and hard-working, but don t expect out-of-this-world customer service. Overall, this place is worth visiting at least once! :)

Cool atmosphere and good food. If you like street tacos or Mexican food that is more of the Southern California style over Texmex, definitely give Maestro Tacos a try.

Probably my new favorite place to get nachos! And let me tell you, it says a lot about a restaurant that gives you a heaping scoop of guac without an additional charge. The staff was friendly and food was out in under 10 minutes. It was a litter disorderly/dirty but our group came in on the tail end of the lunch crowd so its a bit understandable. Parking: There is paid street parking but also a small free lot tucked behind the restaurant. Be on the lookout for a small looking driveway to the right of the building.

Delicious food & margaritas, great service & vibe. Highly recommend. Parking: Paid spots right out front. Would be hard to find parking on a busy night, but garages are fairly nearby. Wheelchair accessibility: There were steps leading up to the restaurant & I didnt see an easily accessible ramp for wheeled mobility aids.

Tacos are extra greasy. But have a good taste. Service was good and atmosphere was fantastic with the music on the patio. Variety of beers are low. Salsa is not hot at all, but the peppers in the basket of foo are very spicy.

Tried this place for the first time with the wife. I got the barbacoa, she got the chicken, flavor was delicious, they forgot to put on the diced onions and cilantro, which was a bummer, not a deal breaker. We will definitely be back the wife had the chicken she really liked it. Little loud although it is near 7th st and inside seating was nice. Try it. Great little spot.

Ordered through Uber Eats and didn t receive 5 items of our order. We had ordered the super burrito, beans and rice, 3 tacos and churos and didn t receive any of them. Waiting almost an hour for our food just to not get the entire order. Uber driver asked multiple times if the one bag was the entire order and the restaurant confirmed that the one bag was our order. Spent nearly $100 expecting a full order and for 1/4 of it. Now we are out the rest of our food and splitting 2 items instead of what we originally planned for. Next time double check the order your received because it s a basic concept.

Ok, so I tried this place because a friend showed me their IG, and it was very visually satisfying. The whole vibe, esthetic, and food looked 10/10. The menu is small for one. Everything is priced fair I guess. The outdoor seating area is cute, and the cactus mural is super cute. Back to inside. It was very underwhelming. Not bright and festive and welcoming like on insta. The service was fine, they also werent very busy at all when we went. I ordered the eilote cup. It needed spice. Tajin some cilantro... something. it had no color. It was all one color and not esthetically pleasing. The Birria tacos, those were an 8/10. They were juicy, flavorful, and filling. The consomè was good but a little salty. The appetizer tri was alright. 8.7/ on the guac. 8/10 on the queso. It was a little bland, but it was good. 0/10 for the salsa. It had spicy and no flavor. Beyond bland. The margarita was way overpriced and was ok. Nothing about it stood out. Also, there are no soda machines. They have cans and some bottles, beer too. Overall, the place was cute, small, and simple. Its very casual dining. The food is good overall.

I had Pollo Nachos and my husband had Birria tacos. My Nachos were great- fresh handmade chips and the guacamole and Queso were very good. My husband felt the consommé for the Birria tacos lacked flavor- hence the 4 . The Mango Margaritas (pictured) were fantastic! Do your self a favor and order the trio as an appetizer.

I ordered super nachos which the menu didn t specify what is on, and requested no meat. It would have been nice for the cashier to mention it would just be a basket of chips and queso with pico de gallo. So I spent $11 instead of $5. When I went back to mention my discovery the cashier laughed. I don t think I saw a manager or a person wiping tables the entire time I was there. Definitely do not recommend.

I loved the authentic Mexican decor and music, it was really cool!! I sat on the patio where they had umbrellas over the tables for some shade. It was nice and relaxing. I ordered 3 tacos for lunch - the trompo, barbacoa and fajita steak. They were all tasty. I really liked the trompo (al pastor). I would have preferred a salsa option that wasn t so spicy. Both salsas were extremely spicy. I can handle spice but wow! I could only use a little. The guy who took my order was nice, but the girl who handed them out wasn t very friendly a smile or you re welcome when I said thank you would have been nice I will definitely be back though! I would love to try some of their other amazing things on the menu, like the beef birria tacos or the cali burrito!!
