Nice Hotel near Dickies arena. Also 5 minutes drive to museums and great restaurants. Rooms: The room we had was tiny with no closet (hanger pegs on the wall) and a sink in the sleeping area all of which fit our needs perfectly. Everything you need without the clutter. Only thing i would add is a foldable bag or suitcase stand. Nearby activities: Dickies arena. Museums. Restaurants. Safety: Very good. Everything looks new. Well lit parking with cameras watching it. Walkability: Walking distance to Dickies Arena, which has all sorts of events. Several restaurants near by. Food and drinks: Nice little bar if you want to hang out for a drink or two. Noteworthy details: Walking distance to Dickies Arena, which has all sorts of events. Arrive early or stay late and you are within 6 minutes of numerous free top notch museums and nice restaurants. This area of FortWorth is very nice and clean.

This is such a cute hotel! Four of us came for a concert at the arena, which is only a five minute walk. The hotel has a lot of character and everyone who works there is super nice. We stayed in a one bedroom suite very comfortably. The room was really clean and very trendy/cool. It s close to a lot of great shopping and restaurants. Everything you need is right there! We will definitely stay there again.

seriously. The WORST boutique hotel I have ever stayed at, and I always try to stay at a local place. This place is not good because they cannot find any good workers? I guess? I do not know. If you want to pay a lot of money to feel like an inconvenience, stay here. Otherwise, there is no other reason to stay at this hotel. AT ALL. They have nothing. Even the location is unsafe. And the employees, they dont want you there. So So So So Unsafe and Unwelcoming.

We took a short trip up to Fort Worth and stayed at Hotel Dryce due to its proximity to the Museums, botanical gardens, and some restaurants we were wanting to visit (along with great reviews!). Wonderful hotel with super friendly staff! Comfortable bed, quiet location, wonderful vibes at the bar. Will definitely stay here again if we are ever back in FW. Rooms: Clean room, had a mini-fridge, tv, small desk. Large bathroom and shower. Walkability: Walked to get tacos nearby, quiet neighborhood, easy two block walk.

Great location if you re taking in a show at Dickies Arena. The staff is polite and courteous. The rooms are spacious and clean. We loved the shower. My only criticism would be an option for firmer pillows. Rooms: Very artsy and modern. The floors are stained concrete, no carpet so being socks especially for colder seasons. Walkability: You can walk to the arena in about 10 minutes, saving yourself the headache of parking and traffic.

I stayed at Hotel Dryce due to the location. The room was very clean, nicely decorated and lit, too cool for me but I just adjusted the A.C.!!! The shower was huge two shower heads one hand held. I enjoyed the products in the shower natural shampoo, conditioner and shower gel. I would like to order some in the future. Nick was who I spoke to 1st and booked my room with very courteous. The young lady at the front desk was very nice and attentive as well. I felt safe and respected. Will definitely stay there again if in the area. No shuttle, no service for the room, but I do not need the room serviced daily. I had enough towels and the bathrobe was nice although I did not use it. Great job Hotel Dryce staff!!! GOD Bless you and yours!!! Rooms: The room was spacious, clean and cold. I had to adjust the A.C. Clean bleachy scent of bed linens. Saw no evidence of insects other than a little black beetle. Noise level was minimal. I Loved my view!!! Safety: There was no one around that seemed threatening at all and not much foot traffic. Walkability: There is no shuttle but Dickies was walking distance. Will Rogers was walking distance as well although a little further. Make sure you know where you are going thought two people in my path misdirected me then I finally found Will Rogers. Lol. There is also a Mexican Restaurant right up the side walk. I was unable to taste their food due to their hours. Noteworthy details: There is no shuttle but Dickies was walking distance. Will Rogers was walking distance as well although a little further. i stayed here with my best friend recently for a concert, and it was overall a really pleasant experience! we had so much fun and really loved this little hotel and wanted to give it the good review it deserves. pros: really cute, minimalistic rooms good locks on the door had a mini fridge bigger bottle versions of toiletries (hand soap, shampoo, etc.) big shower + awesome water pressure comfy bed free water in lobby/bar + in your room awesome patio area great customer service/hospitality good/plenty of food options nearby right across the way from dickies arena (you can entirely avoid parking fees for events by staying here & walking to dickies arena) i do have some feedback though, because i really love this hotel and want it to be better :) cons/feedback/notes: no complimentary breakfast front desk was inside directly on your right instead of straight ahead. it was a bit confusing/hard to find at first but staff helped us find it promptly airplay was wonky/not working on our tv tv & wifi had issues connecting to each other no microwave no closet/ironing board room beds need more pillows wasn t sure if a desk agent was present 24 hours, but i did not ask hard to get a hold of staff on the phone at times again we absolutely loved staying here together, it was such a fun stay in a great spot! if we are ever in the area again, especially for shows at dickies, we ll always consider dryce!

My son and I had a great experience at the Dryce. There was no event at the arena, so it was very quiet. The room was clean and simply, but creatively decorated with local art and photography. The floors are polished concrete, which felt nice and cool on a 100 degree day. The mattress, pillows, and sheets were very high quality. Bathroom was spacious. One night we played cards in the bar and the next night in the library. If it was cooler, we would have enjoyed the many outdoor seating options. The music was so great, I asked whether they had a playlist and sure enough I listened to the playlist all the way home! It s also super close to a lot of museums - very walkable when it isn t summer.

Pros: - super close to dickies arena! Location was everything. -amazing shower! Pressure was great. - clean room - on site parking just limited amount. Cons- - the bed was very small for 2 people. -No regular dairy milk with coffee in am (just oat) would have been nice to have a choice. We left instead. - rooms are TINY (small bed, sink and chair is literally your whole room) and it was like something else before and I don t think the size of the room was worth $250+ a night. -bring water, the only water we saw in the room was this pop top bottle and we would rather know something hasn t been opened prior to us. -no food until late if a vendor came in and limited food around the area. (Bring snacks and water) I will add, management are exceptional and really open to suggestions so i would totally stay again! Rooms: Sooo small. Even smaller than I assumed. I would have seen this as like a micro hotel. Walkability: Minutes from dickies arena. Food and drinks: There was no food maybe add a vending machine???

Overall, great experience! We loved the local hotels history, vibes, cozy lobby bar & patio. Our room was spacious, comfortable, quiet, and clean. The reception staff and the bartender (Victor) were kind and attentive and made us feel welcome. A few nice touches to note: complimentary beverage upon arrival, water & small business products in the room. The Lobby bar had several cocktails and mocktails to choose from, also curated from local or smaller businesses. If I had one recommendation, it would be to offer a few more snacks or small bites at the bar. There is plenty dedicated parking, and the location is within walking distance (10-15 minutes) of several event spaces, gardens, bars, and restaurants. We plan to return in the future.

I had this list of hotels that I m checking out in the area because they were listed by The Weekly and I d never heard of them and it s always perplexing to me the way you can live in a place and never know all the ins and outs of that place at all and some things you miss outright because you aren t expecting to see them while others get keys to the kingdom. For example, The Hotel Dryce is just right across the street on Montgomery from Dickies Stadium and with three floors, a couple of chairs and some really secure feeling outdoor hallways you can set up most anywhere, have a drink, read a book, check out the view which is totally great from that height. The ground floor has what isn t a lobby or an office, but this little library I imagine you can access if you re in the need for reading material. The other side of that floor is a perfect little bar with a wrap around patio and some comfortable looking outdoor furniture. I caught the storm again this evening and didn t stick around to play or further explore the area in walking range save Fort Works Art Gallery, but I did catch an extremely personable employee in the hallway who offered to take me upstairs and show me what else there was in the way of a room. They run a tight ship it seems and with all that museum access I probably wouldn t mind staycationing if I felt so inclined. I might also feel that way if I reserved to get out of the traffic that was happening at whatever event that was that was holding up all the cars. ;-)

Pros: close to the arena, lots of restaurants nearby, unique, and calm, library room, bar, patio. Cons: hard to find staff, no amenities such as breakfast, limited hours Id you need lobby staff. Rooms susceptible to leaking. Cost. ------my experience below--- This was a unique stay. I hadnt heard of this hotel and considering it had history and a cool theme I has high hopes. Our first night stay was in a fair small room and would had been otherwise enjoyable if I didnt need to turn the phone off every hour as it would randomly ask for a code at all hours of the night. The next day we had a larger room and it had an amazing view-- albeit with the rain it was hard to take advantage of the patio in front of our room. We had booked it for a concert and at some point we returned to puddles in our room. When we attempted to call to let the front desk know the phone wasnt functioning. Then we realized that no one was there at all we would need to wait for the next morning at checkout to let them know. While polite, and the hotel looks nice I couldnt say I enjoyed my stay. It was hard go contact anyone, there were some bumps, especially when I realized I may of forgot a blouse in my room. I called only to be told they would nothing in the room after asking if they could check. Overall its convenient but I dont think it was a fit for us. Walkability: Close to the Dickies arena.

My honest review of Hotel Dryce. My wife and I stayed one night as a staycation to get away from our house and kids. I booked it using my cc point. At arrival, we were greeted by friendly staff at the front desk. Be aware there is a $100 hold for accidental with no mini bar in the room. When we checked into the hotel and inspected the room, we noticed a hole in the wall & we werent happy with the location of our room on the third floor. Especially with the elevator being out of service, the front desk accommodated us to a different room on the second floor. At night, they had a Caribbean food truck (self-pay) and cold drinks at the bar. That was excellent! We enjoyed lounging on their patio with the live DJ. When we were ready to sleep, the shower pressure was on point. The king-size bed felt a bit small to us. We both tossed and turned during the night as we could hear loud door banging, our neighbors TV, and their conversation while sleeping (super thin walls). The HVAC kicks on hard as well! A fan would help regulate the room temp. My wife and I had enough, so we checked out super early, at 6, to go back home to get some sleep. Also, if you get the email to check out, it doesnt work or well it didnt work for us, so make sure to go to the front desk! Its a new hotel, so it has things to work on, but for us, we probably wont return. We experienced it, and the lack of sleep was a no-sell. Rooms: Nice decor but the walls are paper thin. You will hear your neighbors.

The hotel vibe was hip and has cool history being an old ice factory. If you re from the Pacific Northwest, you would refer to this hotel, as being a granola hotel. Aside from the first employee when we checked in, everyone else was very friendly and helpful. The lobby has water, coffee, and an evening bar with a great selection of mocktails. The lobby area is small, yet inviting. It seems that locals come here to drink in the evening. There s no hotel store or a place close to buy snacks, ibuprofen, etc The room was nice, it had 2 small lamps for lighting but could use a rug with the cement floors, a microwave, and definitely a coffee maker for $350 a night. The beds were decent, however, the walls were paper thin and you can hear the neighbors conversation when laying in bed. Being on the 3rd floor with no working elevator was a struggle at times for my daughter who is 8 months pregnant. I m assuming the price was so high because of a nearby event, however, the location was close (about 5-20 min) to downtown and many restaurants/attractions by car and safe. Overall it is was a good experience. However, if I were to return to Fort Worth, I would not choose to stay here.

We arrived in our room and I was a bit nervous as if read reviews about it all been concretr floors but it wasnt as I expected at all and was great. The bathroom was a good size and the room was ample for 2 people, just missing a coffee machine. The location.was perfect for dickies arena and the rodeo show. Only 2 faults I could find was one for the price per evening it would have been better providing a breakfast in the price, and two the walls definitely need sound proofing as I could hear the room next door using the bathroom and the people upstairs. But all in all Id definitely be using again if we plan another visit

Black Owned, White ran So, it s important to note that I know Hotel Dryce only for its lobby atmosphere. I ve never stayed in the hotel itself. The events they throw are always something you don t want to miss. Theyre inviting and the atmosphere keeps you engaged. But I will say, an embarrassing number of times I ve sat at the Lobby bar and I felt the bartender(s) treated me like it was a whites only bar and did not acknowledge me until there wasn t anyone else to be serviced. It s happened too many times. This last time, which prompted this review, i walk into a full bar with 1 spot open. The bartender completely, intentionally ignored me. He stood around close to 5 minutes without making any drinks (I should ve walked away). The icing on the cake was when he started to go around to everyone at the bar saying can I get you another? would you like anything else? Before ever acknowledging me. No eye contact, not a hi , not a head nod. I ve bartended before, that s not just bad service that s underlying racism. I bet those are the same staff who in order to get the job had to pretend like they love all people but it s evident in their actions they don t.

Walkability: Coffee, Museums, and Dickies Arena are all walking distance. Walk a bit further or ride share for restaurants.

Great place to stay if visiting cultural downtown of Fort Worth. Gardens and museums are walkable from here. The bar is a total vibe and the complimentary drinks for checking in really hit the spot after a long drive. A cool food truck sets up shop on fridays in the parking lot. Morning complimentary coffee and tea bar is a real treat. No free breakfast but theres plenty to eat close by. Rooms are quiet and in excellent condition. Heating works great and a good view of Dickies Stadium. The refurbished industrial feel and the environmentally friendly retrofitings are a great touch. 10/10 will visit again. Rooms: Clean, comfy, and stylish for those looking for an industrial feel and modern design Nearby activities: All the cultural museums and science museums, botanical gardens, great eats, and landmarks are close by and walkable Walkability: See above

The late night front desk agent was definitely not enthused to see us. In fact, it felt like she was borderline annoyed that we even existed as humans. Lol. There was an error that allowed us to book the room in the first place apparently. And while it was clear that it wasn t our fault, she still made us feel as though we had done something wrong. Who knows? The room itself was okay, just very, very basic. They definitely embrace the minimalist aesthetic . The shower was the absolute highlight of the stay! Spacious, great water pressure, and perfect maximum hot temperature. The exterior of the facility looks welcoming, hip, sleek, & modern, but could definitely use some more love in the rooms.

Definitely a great vibe at the hotel, but the rooms let me down. They weren t as clean as expected, one outlet by the bed didn t work, and it was the loudest room I ve ever been in. I was on the third floor, so maybe that s a big factor, but it sounded like a 57 Chevy engine was running directly above the ceiling. It actually scared a friend that stopped by when the noise started. Staff were very friendly and helpful, location is perfect for anything at Dickies Arena, and a few solid food/drink options within walking distance. I think almost any other room could have made this a 5-star experience.

Went to try out the bar because they were having an event. First of all, there were maybe 10 people in the entire bar. 10min after ordering a simple old fashioned, while standing at the bar, and two bartenders to make it, I got what tasted like a watered down double shot of whiskey. I even had to grab my own cherry to garnish it. The guy next to me even commented on how long it took to get my drink, and he walked up halfway through the process. The first bartender who attempted it told me it was only her second day. But really, even your second day as a bartender, you should be able to make a basic old fashioned. They didnt have food but were happy to point out the food truck out back, where they served vegan brisket....in Cowtown. I dont even know what vegan brisket is and I dont think I ever do. Big fail there. The place seems like it could be kind of cool for a boutique hotel bar, but Ill never go back based on that kind of service.

The people above us were dragging furniture across the floor and stomping around at 1am. Could hear Every. Single. Thing. The bed was comfy but got no sleep due to the noise. Also our AC did not work very well. Was set to 68 and it was definitely not 68 in there but it sure kept turning off. So with the noise and the ac, it was just a terrible night. At $300+ a night, I expected better. It s a shame they didn t spend more money on soundproofing.

Hotel Dryce has some of the nicest staff. They made sure our stay was pleasant & comfortable. The room was very unique, as Im positive that was design intentional. It gave chic minimalist. I did miss the bathroom countertop(s), but that shower though. Lets talk about it. The shower makes up for the lack of space on countertops, by far. It was very spacious, well lit, & the flow and pressure...immaculate!! It. Was. Everything!! I was raisin-skinned adjacent before I even thought of stepping out. I could stay there all day. I now have plans for my dream home. You wont regret its use for not only cleaning your cracks & crevices, but relaxation & rejuvenation. It was heavenly. I attended the New Edition Legacy Tour across the street at the Dickies Arena. It literally took all of 6 minutes to walk both to & from. One thing Ive never seen & thought interesting...cement floors. Our room had cement floors. Bring thick socks or slippers unless you appreciate cold phalanges. A bit pricey for 1 night, but definitely worth it.

She said it was the least she could do. We go to our even and I relieved a text and they told me someone had cancelled!!! No other hotel would have done that for us ever. So we go there after our event and go through a smooth check in and go to our room and they had left is a free bottle of champagne with a sweet little note that said Happy Birthday, bubbly on us! this place is nice, staff were cool, and in a good location for the cultural area. the only downside for me is the design of the place contributes to a lot of noise/sound. the rooms are all outside access and if you are on top of the bar/lounge area you are going to hear everything, which is fine if you want to party and dont mind the noise, but if you need to sleep it might be pretty hard. I also stayed on a saturday night so I understand the party, but just have not stayed anywhere before in which the sound travels inside the rooms on this scale (you cant ignore it). so if you are looking for a cool but chill place and you need to go to sleep on a weekend evening then it might be an issue.

The one part that was not fantastic was our experience atthe bar. There were not 1 but 2 bartenders working who did not greet us for almost 20 minutes.. not joking. After one of the bartenders finally notices she only made eye contact and would talk to my parents, didnt ask me a thing-my partner even had to get her attention in order to get my drink order in. Then she took another 12ish minutes to deliver because she was more engrossed in some paperwork/sidework going on. At a certain point we heard her mention to another bar guest that it was one of her first nights working. Horrible guest service-coming from both me and my partner who are both in the restaurant service industry. That job isnt for everybody and anybody.

Wow! I needed this. night away and these guys made it not just a night out but a special night. The management from the time we checked in til we checked out were calm ,warm and welcoming. They had Gusto s food truck and it was simple but delicious we ended up not even going out to eat. We did do a uber to Melt on 7th for some delish Lavendar honey Ice cream and a stroll. We came back to the hotel w a super chill vibe, fire pit, good music. We stayed in room 211 and it was chic and bed was amazing. Last but def not least this hotel is CLEAN you can tell their staff takes pride in their work. They had clean lines even were i would expect some dust NOPE not this place they even wrote a very sweet welcome note. We will def be back for a girls night in. Thanks Hotel Dryce for being awesome

I loved my stay at Hotel Dryce!! The hotel is amazing and the rooms are beautifully decorated and spacious. The beds were also extremely comfortable and I loved the smart TVs. Everyone from management, to the bartenders, front desk staff and housekeeping were so nice and welcoming. The hotel is also in a great location near the Fort Worth Zoo, Dickies Arena, museums, restaurants and nightlife. I highly recommend this hotel and I cant wait to come back!!
