Really well done haunted house. We were skeptical since there was no line. Lots of actors, scares and props. Exceeded my expectations indeed and we came straight from cutting edge. Awesome job crew, which are volunteers and the place is a non profit. I d definitely visit again in the future.

TL;DR: > BEST ONE!!! - This is the 2nd time I have gone to this haunted house. It is the best one I have ever been to! The time you are in the building if you do the haunted house, the selfie area (stopping area in the haunted house), and the zombies was easily an hour. This haunted house is worth the cost and the waiting line. We will definitely go again next year! The selfie rooms are really good (think sideways!) and it gave us a chance to cool off from the screaming we were doing!

A great blend of optical illusions, jump scares, actors, and props. And killer location too! If you have lung issues, maybe consider a mask for some parts with lots of thick, awesome fog. And I always recommend closed-toe shoes but its an especially good idea here. Thank you for the fun evening! Edit: Yeah- theres a wait. Is there a long wait time? Depends on which night you go. The last 2 Saturdays before Halloween are the busiest nights for haunted attractions. These negative reviews are quite amusing. My family and friends love Hangmans! Great props, themes and even better actors. Keep doing your thing Hangmans! Did you know Hangmans donates 10% of its profit every year to charity? Did you know that 95% of the workers are volunteers? Again, kudos to you Hangmans, keep doing your thing!

This place is a waste of time/money. At least two hour wait time. Even if you get the fast pass. Terrible techno music played constantly. When our group of four was about to enter, a worker was pressing me about standing on the stairs and not directly on the ground, as if he wouldn t have been able to distinguish the two groups apart based on me standing on the stairs. And then just a 30min walkthrough of some lame jump scares. And one of the houses was just photo opportunities and bright colors. Very disappointing and will not be returning.

If I could give no stars I would. Its just one house now. The lines are ridiculous. Its $40 for general admissions, $50 for Fast Pass and about $65 for VIP. They sell tons of upgrades for VIP and let those people go in first, so the general admission line moves at a glacial pace. So not worth it. In line for over 2hrs and still not in. Only seen 3 scare actors as well. Its so bad, theyre even letting babies in. We saw a woman with her baby in a kangaroo carrier. Save your money and time.

We went in with a party of 12. We split the group into 6 and 6 to go thru the haunt. We arrived at 10pm and bought general admission tickets at the window. We were in line at 1008pm. We stood in line until 1216am, but I didnt mine. They had a good DJ and the scare actors were engaged a lot. They had a performer doing fir juggling. Which made the time not so bad. The haunt itself was a good time at the first half. The photo prop rooms was great in the middle. The back half of the haunt really felt rushed as it was going on 1am. We went from a group of 6 to a group 20 together. The very last part my 13yr old nephew was scared by the actors and couldnt find the exit and one of them says come on man I got kids to get home to.

Very meh experience. They do make you pay $10 to park in a dirt lot. The wait, although very long was entertaining with the DJ, and dancer. The non actors did not have the best customer service, especially for $50 a person with the fast pass. Also the entire walk thru was about 40min or so, with only about half of that having actors. The first part of it was basically a walk thru. We were looking for actors but didn t see them until the last half. It was disappointing. We chose this place because cutting edge is expensive and we had six people in our family. Next year I think we will just go to cutting edge.

The actual walk through was a lot of fun. Lots of jump scares. Lots of themes going on. The actors did a great job. The bad part was the wait. We waited, I kid you not, a little over TWO HOURS in line on a Saturday night. Maybe go during the week and go right when the sun goes down before all the people arrive. Also, the non-character staff were garbage. We drove up and the lady collecting money for the parking lot had a legit toddler standing next to her with cars driving around them. And then another one of the staff members literally had her infant sleeping on her chest during her shift. So strange. Anyway, it was fun but the wait definitely spoiled the experience.

They made you pay for parking in a salvage yard, just dirt and rocks. There was legit a lady with her 2 year old collecting cash at the parking entrance. The line to get in was a 2 hour wait, and you had to stand there less you lose your place. The fast pass line was the exact same wait. The non-actors were straight up diarrhea people. Again encountered another different woman with a baby inside the effects area watching paw patrol. The actual actors were the only ones I think cared about doing a good job.

Super cool haunted house! The line was really long, we ended up waiting almost 2 hours. Extremely disappointing. Very little actors. The actual location is phenomenal. I always appreciate when a haunted house has actors entertaining whe queue line , however the couple that they did have outside would simply come out and start talking to other workers . No efforts to be in character in front of the customers. This quickly set my expectations on what was going to be inside the haunt which was absolutely horrible and to be honest there was only one actor that did an amazing job and oddly enough he didn t even have on a costume. You could tell the actors were just kids who really didn t care. Which is fine but this place should not be charging the prices they do and providing such a low quality experience in exchange. I won t be returning next year.

For the amount of money we spent, we were really disappointed. There were entire scenes, multiple rooms, where there were no actors. No one. We could see where they could be or should be but they weren t there. We walked several minutes with zero interaction. Then when we did come across someone, it was another several minutes and multiple scenes before we saw anyone again. In my opinion, they really missed the mark and left so many opportunities to really make this a great experience. I will say that the interactions we did have were great, which is why I am giving three stars instead of less.

Bought standard pass and waited in line from 830 until 11. Then once you get to the front of line you have to wait in another line for 30 min. It took us 55 min to go through the haunted house and other attractions which are all in one but didnt enjoy after being in line 2.5 hours. Then staff was constantly telling people they couldnt sit on the concrete wall which people were tired from standing in line for 2.5 hours. It was a good haunted house but highly recommended they just take the fast pass away and up ticket price to make it better for the average person. Ticket line needs to be better organized but moved pretty fast. Very small concession stand but great prices. Overall great haunted house but wait was worst of all haunted house.

We are haunted house junkies and we thoroughly enjoyed Hangmans. Set in a run down compound that would be eerie all by itself, this haunted house took us through multiple buildings and took almost an hour to walk through. The line moved a little slow because they kept groups well spaced, something that I greatly appreciate. The actors were all great, and the design of the house gave ample hiding spots and secret passages between rooms. Of the four haunted houses we visited this weekend, this was a favorite for our whole group.

My daughter and I had a blast at Hangman s House of Horrors last night! Tons of fun actors to scare and chase us! Many different zones to walk through and some amazing visual effects and terrifying mazes. Clowns? Check. Zombies? Check. Chainsaw murderers? Check. No line to speak of to get it, and all the other guests screaming and walking through together made it a great experience. There are plenty of fun photo opportunities, too. Side note: if you have a hard time with balance/walking, this isn t for you! It s very dark and uneven (which might be expected) but there are also parts of the haunted house designed to mess with your balance and sense of perception! My daughter had to hold my hand a couple times to keep me steady, but it was still great fun!

Giving them 4 stars because I feel like there were missed opportunities. You walk down a long empty hallway on the way in. Its empty. No fog, no lasers, no actors, no door poppers, nothing. I wanted someone to fling a door open so bad, but it was just a hallway. The hallway leads to a courtyard with a concession stand and some picnic tables. Theres a hearse with a display thats a good photo op too. You wait here for your scheduled time. When your time is up, you go stand in a line next to a loading dock/perfect stage. Prime opportunity for some theatrics here, or maybe a local band, but there was just some dude in sunglasses doing a lazy job of engaging with the crowd once every 20 minutes or so. There was a girl doing trapeze type tricks on a hanging metal ring, and she was great, but that was really it. The actual haunted house was pretty cool. The zombie experience was cool. The art section was meh and not necessary. I feel like the energy would have been better spent in the courtyard and hallway. Theres also piles of old trash by the entrance of the haunted house. I thought maybe it was by design at first, but quickly realized it was just a large pile of trash someone decided they didnt need to clean up. I absolutely LOVE haunted attractions and I try and support anyone hosting them, but $50 a person was a bit much for this experience. *I realize we are still reeling from COVID and that its possible that has had an impact on this attraction. If manpower was an issue, Im sure the local community would be interested in helping. I know I would volunteer.

Pros: great production value. Cons: literally everything else. I bought my tickets 2 days in advance for the 830 show. Why did you have us waiting 3 hours in line for tickets we RESERVED for that time frame. Look I get it, youre busy, however the trick is to allow people who ordered the tickets to view the show around the time they time slot they bought. The actors were LAZY. Relying on nothing but cheap jump scares in obvious hiding places. If I had a time machine I wouldve just gone somewhere else. Instead Im writing this one star review and have a taste of sour vinegar in my mouth from the experience.

There were maybe 12 staff members throughout the entire building we saw, the groups were very large and removed any surprises we could have had. Actors were mostly young high schoolers standing in the open yelling, costumes were cheap and low effort. Halfway through there are photo opportunities which are super cheap and would have ruined the tone of the entire place but there wasnt one because we walked through 5 rooms and saw 7 people for 30 minutes. Most impressive part were the actors performing outside of the line wearing no clothes in 50 degree weather.

4th year in a row and Covid has definitely had an effect on preparation. A customer should never pay so much and walk away really ticked off. I understand some workers are vaulenteers and some are working community service but ALL employees should be respectful. The crew tonight had some untrained people and 1 should not have been there that made a easily great time regretful. Lighting was set too low, exhibits were lacking, there is only 1 house which is clear misrepresentation because their website says 3..... Hopefully they prepare better next year but for my family and I.....were done.

Felt like it was under staffed. Our group was either the first for the night or one of the very first to go through, but it felt like the actors werent ready, or there werent enough. A lot of sections that had spots for jump scares were uneventful. A couple people from our group were scared, but they were easy targets from the start. Because of that two actors preyed on them throughout the experience... a bit too much. The level of getting screamed at was too high, as well as some of the sections, notably the train horn, were deafening loud. Two particular sections seemed needlessly dangerous. One in which an actor lunged out from our left and sent one of our group members into the adjacent wall. Another was a chain link style fence that was pressed towards us in a narrow hallway, with the top of the pointed links right at eye level. Circumstances could lead to very serious injuries. Overall it was an ok experience. Unfortunately, the three sections were reduced to, essentially one large experience partially separated in the middle. Some of the lighting in rooms was awesome, but most areas were way too dark to tell what was going on - which lessened the experiences. Personally, I enjoyed the sections that messed with equilibrium and perception, but most people from my group disliked the disorientation from those.

It was okay, certainly overrated. They were understaffed and a lot of empty areas that should have had people jumping out and such. There are better ones, but if youre going to see several, put this one on the list too. Having the hangman theme was cool, but there was nothing about the theme inside. All of the stories on their website should have resembled what was inside the haunted house. That was disappointing as well.

The website brags about time slots to minimize wait times, well that s a joke. We got there well at 1030 for our time and the line was so long I couldn t see the entrance and it was barely moving. I was then told it would be around 2AM before we would get in. So then we spent an extra $20 a piece per person on top of the $50 already paid for to get a fast pass. Just to go through a very poorly set up haunted house. The decor was average, the make up was very poorly done (my 6 year old could have done a better job), and it was all ran by a bunch of kids to scare. Never will I every pay the money to go back there again, nothing to it was worth it. I barely could stand giving this review one star.

Overall pretty great Haunt, minus the lines they are brutal, not to mention they said that the actors should not touch you at all.. me and my family were touched multiple times and almost in inappropriate ways. They were a lot of steep ramps and the fire shooter cannons that come out from the bottom of where you are walking, they nearly almost burned me. Overall, I think it was great but some of the actors I think were just tired and ready to go home so they halfassed trying to scare you. If you are okay with standing for a least a hour and a half, this ones for you. Not exactly worth my money.

I have no words to describe how disappointed I am in this haunted house. Stood in line for over hours to see absolutely nothing. No decorations and very few actors who were about as unenthusiastic as we were. The whole thing was poorly run and for the extreme price of tickets, I was expecting something much more entertaining. Mediocre at best.

We had a ton of fun at this haunt. All of the staff are very friendly. Actors inside the house are great and do a good job. Many different rooms ranging from fun house to classic HH type stuff. I would rate this a good place for someones first haunt as there is not much in the way of Closterphobic or psychological type scares and they do focus on having a good time rather than making you cry (dont get me wrong, there is some super creepy sections). LOL. Will definitely be back and bring friends. There was a bit of a wait, but it was worth it b/c we didnt encounter any others inside the house which means the spacing was good. There was stretches inside the house with no actors, but i suspect it was because we visited early in the season and b/c they rely on volunteers for actors and donate proceeds to charity. So its all good. Side note - would be ok to keep more of proceeds to add more tech and bolster what already is a good HH. The Location is phenomenal for a HH but its just missing some TLC. Would be cool to have some canned music or something while waiting in line, but these critiques are being nit picky. So...Get out there and support this place! You will for sure have a good time!! Also the entrance is just after the volunteer entrance on right. its not in the neighborhood. It looks like a truck parking lot, but its not. : ) Pro Tip - go to their website and FB page to check for Discount codes, they post them frequently. : ) Happy Haunitng!

Let me explain the deduction of a Star first. We went on Halloween 2020 during a Super Blue Moon. Even in the middle of a pandemic the crowd was insane and as all good haunted houses the line was half the fun but you burn out after 2hrs! NOW! This place was a blast when I was a kid! It feels even creepier now! Movie quality sets and costumes! Intense sensory deprivation and wobbly floors to distract you from the evil that is poised to snatch your soul! The groups were small and didn t stack up behind tons of people which explains the aforementioned wait time. They have multiple features all of which not open due to covid. I think they can accommodate another full feature haunting and keep the crowd moving! There was plenty of food to snack on in line. They had a good bit of street performances among the crowd to help entertain and pass the time. We are in our 40 s our 15 yo had just as much of a good time as we did!

For being a scardy cat of our group this was not bad, however social distancing is a joke here. masks were not enforced until a worker at the house door made a comment to a man. but there were two other workers directing us while we waited who never said anything to him. i know these are weird times and we run the risk every time we leave the house or invite someone over but at an event or store, etc i feel it s their responsibility to also do their part. and there were some workers not wearing a mask, one kept spitting on his face shield near us in line.

The advertisement of this place should say, Do you want to find the breeding grounds for COVID-19, look no further than the Hangman s House of Horrors. The only the scary about this haunted house was the personal hygiene, not even including the the fact that none of them were wearing a mask. Most of the employees looked like they haven t showered in days. They like to keep the business in the family in more ways than one. The lines are worse than you could possibly imagine no one is following social distancing guidelines. When I wasn t afraid one of the employees started rubbing my head. There s so many more reasons I couldn t include of why you should save your money.

Three words: Just. Got. Scammed. The reception was so abhorrent we couldn t get the tickets open on our phone, and yet even after being provided with proof that the tickets were purchased via the banking application, we were forced to pay twice. We went in to see a truly absurd scene with absolutely no one following social distancing or COVID-19 safety rules. Everyone, staff and customer, were not wearing face coverings. We were able to get into the secondary zombie house, but the quality was disheartening to say the least. The actors were not scary, were absolutely repetitive and one of them was even grabbing peoples heads (during a pandemic, mind you). We tried to get in to the main attraction, however we found the line was so long that we would have had to stay there until at least 2 in the morning just to experience mediocre performances by what were probably underpaid actors. The only thing scarier is the fact the federal government hasn t shut this place down for the tax evasion they MUST be committing to keep afloat. Man out front was nice though.

They are not equipped to handle large amounts of people and overall just a horrible experience. Lines exceeded their roping and line organization by hundreds of people. Very unprepared. And you have to pay $10 for parking even though you ve already paid a minimum of $37/person for general admission. Turning into more of a money grab every year certainly won t be going back next year.

I REALLY enjoyed this haunted house. I like that it has three different buildings. The initial tunnel to the main courtyard area, the zombie escape, and that last building. There were lots of surprises and the decor was amazing. I like how we were distant out from the the other groups. I went to cutting edge and the people would either catch up to us or wed run into them which mean all the surprise scares wed see already happen and wed sometimes miss them completely. Not here! We attempted to get a refund and they told us since we only went through one attraction we were not going to get one. We had already asked some people coming out of that attraction if it was worth the wait and they said No, they didnt even try to scare us. so we were not going to wait another 1.5-2 hours to find out. We were told many times the actors WOULD NOT BE TOUCHING US. The very first house we went in was their zombie apocalypse and the actor inside literally grabbed my head in his hands and shook it and said brains. He also grabbed my husband by the shoulders. We were going to laugh it off until we were later accused of being the ones to touch the zombie actor??? Also were accused of drinking? Wont be returning and wouldnt recommend.
