Paris 7th … as in West 7th Street, where we are located in the cultural District of Fort Worth just west of downtown. Paris 7th … as in the very cultural 7th arrondissement of THE Paris. The Paris 7th district is where you will find some of the world’s most recognized landmarks: the Eiffel Tower, the Musée d’Orsay and Les Invalides Museum, home to Napoleon’s tomb but also, a quartier known for its fine French food. Cafés, restaurants and gourmet shops are woven into the beautiful streets of the left bank but since we can’t go tonight, here we are at Paris 7th. Let us entertain you!

I am posting this in the hope that it drives the overall rating to 4.9 as the 4.8 is too low. Aside from the amazing food, if you want classic, old school and upscale service, Paris 7th is the place to be. Our server Joshua, and the rest of the staff are the definition of professional service. We cannot wait to experience Paris 7th, again and again. Pic added of the lamb loin special.

We celebrated our 33rd Anniversary with Paris 7th. Fine French cuisine. The food, wine lists and cocktails were wonderful. I really enjoyed the limoncello martini. We also had the taste of the Caviar, it was lovely and the lovely little bread it was served on was light and moist and perfect. We had the Fire Lake Oysters. The were delicate and delicious especially with the sauce they were served with. My entree Magret Et Confit was very enjoyable. I found the cherry tomato purée an unexpected choice but it was bright and fresh. The chef sent out a lovely side of scalloped potatoes. I enjoyed a poached pear dessert and my husband had the brandy iced. Both were great. We found the service on pointe. Both our servers were well educated on the food and wine and the specials. They were attentive and helpful but did not crowd us or try to influence our choices. We will be going back for our next special occasion. Special thank you to Chef Mark.

We enjoyed our dinner at Paris 7th during our visit in downtown Fort Worth Texas. The food and service were excellent and beyond what we could have asked for. We had our toddler with us and were hesitant to dine in there, but the staff was absolutely amazing and patient with us. They made our little ones day and one of the best highlights of our trip. Sincere thank you to all of you including the amazing staff and the amazing chef who made our little ones day! We will definitely be dinning here again when we visit next time. One of the bests restaurants on our list. Thanks again!

Honestly the most amazing experience, the owner was such a cool guy. Has a wonderful, beautiful restaurant. And the chef was an amazing person to meet. The staff was wonderful as a whole. Loved our server. I had one of Julia Childs most famous French dishes she is known for. .. my husband had the steak and fries. We absolutely loved the French bread and butter . Our server was kind enough to let me try the duck. Chris the owner made our night by allowing us to take a photo with him and the chef. BEST BIRTHDAY I could EVER ask for. I will be back every BIRTHDAY God willing.

This is the first time we have eaten here. I do not know how we missed this. It is a fabulous, beautiful, romantic setting for an exquisite French experience. This is a small French restaurant, very much like a restaurant in Paris itself. The food is very reminiscent of Paris ( I have been there a few times). The signature dish of duck a lorange (their take) is excellent. The side is duck fat fried pomme frites. Although, I think they should make French creamy, smooth mashed potatoes as well. They have the French stew (beef bourguignon) with tagliatella pasta. I couldnt eat it because of the mushrooms. Another classic French restaurant experience is the blackboard. Featuring the menu items for that day. Omg! I hope they keep the Earl Gray gelato. That was fantastic. Other French classics, French onions soup, Brie (their version of queso and mini toast), when available Dover sole (yumm), Escargot (2 ways), national dish of France: steak and frites. It is a MUST. Best French restaurant in the Metroplex. Ive been to all of them.

My wife and I had a truly amazing dining experience for our anniversary. To start, the complimentary bread was flaky and crunchy on the outside and so soft and warm on the inside. We ordered cocktails, my wife a lemon martini (that I dont remember the name of) and I a glass of wine. Both were delicious. I ordered the beef bourguignon. My wife ordered the filet. We also ordered the heirloom carrots to share. The bourguignon was both rich and tender. My wifes filet was so tender, she didnt need a knife to cut it. It was perfectly cooked and served with a wonderful wine sauce. But, the highlight (so far...my god, the dessert) of the meal were the heirloom carrots. They were cooked in a lavender oil bath and were firm and tasted heavenly. You could taste the sweetness of the carrot mixed with the savoriness of the bath in addition to the floral aromatics. Finally, we order the dessert...the TUILE AUX MÛRES. It was warm berries atop a creamy custard in turn on top of a delicious cake. All of this was surrounded by a crisp shell of goodness. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. You will absolutely enjoy this restaurant.

Wife and I had dinner here last night. It was absolutely amazing! Tucked into the back corner of a small shopping area on 7th you d never notice it but walking in I was astounded by the atmosphere. Our server Josh is super charming while Chris the manager walked around and spoke to everyone. Speaking of, the chef Mark came out and spoke to everyone too! I couldn t tell you when the last time was that at a restaurant a chef walked around to make time for the customers who enjoyed his food. Which leads me into the food itself. Absolutely amazing! Wife had the braised short ribs while I had the duck. Everything was absolutely superb! If you re going on a date night definitely check this place out!

Oh la la! Paris 7th is the real deal when it comes to the quintessential French restaurant, down to the very last detail. Its hard to be pretentious when youre located in a non-descript mini-mall--off West 7th Street, naturally--but you cant fake perfection. The interior is simple yet elegant, finely tuned for light, sound and comfort, the service gracious and professional, and each course a paragon of culinary excellence. Expensive but wonderful in every way.

Quiet little place, with such an understated elegance.. We had reservations, and walking in, we were greeted immediately. Tablescapes were beautiful and delightfully French.. Our server, Joshua was wonderful, though the whole staff is wonderfully attentive.. I had a wonderful pinot noir, that Joshua recommended.. We ordered the Soupe à l Oignon Les Halles - French onion soup - to start.. It had an amazing flavor, and it was so easy to eat, because it was all contained within the cast iron crocks it was served in (most French onion soup, the cheese is melted over the vessel, and it can be a challenge to keep your manners as you eat it).. We had the Tartare de Filet de B uf - beef tartare - along with some pommes frites, for our second and main course.. We LOVE beef tartare, and this was the very reason we came, and I have to say, this is the BEST we ve had in this area.. It was garnished beautifully, it was made fresh to order (yes, you could taste it), and the ratios of flavor, the portion, wow!! Everything about it was so perfect!! To end the night, we tried the duo de crèmes brûlées, and the selection was vanilla (topped with berries, on top of the crust) and chocolate (topped with crumbled chocolate cake, on top of the crust).. They weren t too heavy and were such a joy to eat!! It was a PERFECT evening, I highly recommend Paris 7th!! We are already planning to go back to try the escargot and to take some family with us (this was a birthday date night) and we KEEP talking about it!!

**update 07MAR2024*** It just gets better with age: The transformation of their space towards elegance The quality of service continues to become refined Chef Marks magnificent preparation and presentation The teams entire service is exceptional The food on this visit was simply divine, and the wine chosen by the owner Chris to accompany the evening dishes was absolutely perfect. Consistency. Elegance. Purposeful focus on authentic classic French cuisine. ***update 24APR2023*** It is very clear that something wonderful is happening at Paris 7th. There is an elegance that did not exist just a few short months ago. The change doesn t feel revolutionary, it feel like an elegance is permeating this already wonderful restaurant. Finding myself without plans on a Saturday evening I was able to secure a table that overlooked the entire restaurant a blessing to watch the symphony unfold. Greetings were exchanged and as a returning customer it s always noteworthy to be recognized and appreciated. Chris, Josh and the others were elegant and generous with their welcomes. My memory is good, but the details are not always perfectly accurate. The first course started with a glass of Meursault a rare offering (by the glass). It paired perfectly with the first two courses: a Petrosian royal osetra caviar service, including the requisite ice-cold Vodka this one from Blackwood, TX. Second course - Duck confit fondue. Simply perfect. Absolutely smooth and appropriately rich. Chris replaced the Meursault with a Sauternes, hinting at what would be served next. Seared foie gras with Belgian waffle and lemon compote. The Foie gras was seared perfectly, and the lemon accompaniment was a balanced sweet and tart. Fourth course started with a beautiful Pomerol. Roasted Australian lamb chops and spatchcocked Texas quail a creative and savory mixed grill. The vegetables, while generally considered an accompaniment, were amazing notably the butter-poached asparagus. Perfectly tender and mouthwateringly seasoned. The dessert course: Pistachio tartlet with Washington Bing cherry glacé paired with a 10yr Taylor Fladgate tawny port. The timing of all courses was perfect, and the full dining room seemed to all be on a similar cadence making the appropriately timed tempo rather amazing. Chris and his team know high-level service and deliver a world-class experience. Highly recommend. Previous review: Having longingly missed Paris 7th during the past year (Covid) I returned with high expectations, of course. Greeted on a bustling and extremely wet Friday evening by now Maitred Chris, I was seated immediately (with reservations) at a perfectly adorned and watered table. It was clear at the outset that there were only 3 people (Chris, Clark and Sarah) supporting their 60+ guests. I was prepared to be patient.... An engaged overview of the offerings, available wines, and any particular needs/wants/desires made me feel like I was the only patronn in the house that evening. Zero stress in the cadence and tempo of all three showed their attention-to-detail and unparalleled professionalism. The evening was absolutely spectacular. Wines by the glass are extensive. Chris (sommelier) understood my penchant for elegance in a glass and brought perfect pairings for each course. He also selected the (pictured) 2015 Mondot Saint-Emilion Grand Cru to pair with the Osso Bucco on double-yolk pasta. Simply excellent. Every course was timed for my patient cadence. The dishes were adorned and plated well. The flavors all blended and spiced appropriately. Dessert was stunningly beautiful and tasted even better- paired with Armagnac. I highly recommend Paris 7th without any hesitation.

Ok so... weve been here 5 times now and every single time, I walk away feeling 110% satisfied with the service, quality of ingredients, variety in specials, length and availability of the wine list, and overall excellence. Ive been to France about 5 or 6 times on vacation, and this place will take you there - all from the comfort of Fort Worth. Youd never guess that such a restaurant existed in a tiny mini-mall by the Will Rogers Center - I sure didnt. One time, the owner/maitred even went as far as selling us some of this unique truffle sauce that came with the scallop special - HE SOLD US THE SECRET SAUCE. Unfortunately, we were unable to reverse engineer it, but it was delicious on 3 home cooked dishes over the next 3 days. If you are in DFW and want real French food, with real French service - this is well worth the drive. I will be back - many times! Thank you so much!!!

We had a great time here celebrating our anniversary. While the food alone should warrant 5 stars, it was the wait staff that brought the overall score down from perfect. First, let me share what was done well. The selection of appetizers was almost overwhelming with small bites like the taste of caviar that is served on blinis with a creamy goat cheese and chilled vodka. The caviar was creamy with the mildest fish flavor. The vodka was perfectky chilled. We also had smoked salmon on cucumber with capers, it was perfectly balanced in flavor and texture. Next we enjoyed soup, she had the de jour, an asparagus soup with lump crab. I had the french onion, which was loaded with crustinis and covered in grueyere and baked to golden pefection. For the main course, we had the lobster tail broiled in a butter bath with braised short ribs. The short rib was roasted to nelty perfection with a thick crust and juicy pink center. We also ordered the fillet with foie gras torchon and a burgundy reduction. This steak was perhaps the best Ive had, with a complexity and depth of flavor with a perfect mouthfeel. I enjoyed every bite, even the portion I had wrapped up to go the following day. We enjoyed wine and beer and even split a brandy ice to top it all off. Every moment we spent at Paris 7th was wonderful until it was time to go. From the moment we asked for the check till we left took almost 40 minutes, which we remained patient for. The main issue we took with our server besides the long waits between seeing him, was that he offered us a champagne toast for our celebratory night but then completely forgot us, it wasnt much but it felt disingenuous. I supose I shouldnt have shorted the tip, but 12.5% is how I complain that the service fell short, which is common.

My wife and I enjoyed our second visit to Paris 7th to celebrate our anniversary. Once again it was a truly memorable dining experience. It is a rare meal when even a very good restaurant gets every detail right. P7 has done it for us twice, now, in succession. The menu is traditional French--you wont find any molecular gastronomy or ethnic fusion creation. What you will find is dishes that have developed over centuries Gallic cooking executed with extraordinary competence by a chef with a tremendous palate. To start, we shared a salad Nicoise whose centerpiece was octopus masterfully poached sous vide to reach a creamy tenderness without being the tiniest bit mushy. It was dressed with a superb delicate vinaigrette that let both the fish and the haricots vert shine. We followed with the onion soup--the best Ive had, including anywhere in France, with delicious notes of tarragon brightening the perfectly caramelized onions--and the foie gras--which was seared just right, dressed in a terrific strawberry and rhubarb reduction and accompanied by a small glass of Sauternes that, by itself, was worth the price of the dish. Our entress were the roast duck (crisp skin under a subtle citrus glaze accompanied by pommes frites fried in duck fat that will inspire erotic dreams) and a tremendous braised short rib, topped with lump crab and served en croute in a demi glace, black truffle and foie gras sauce that is an absolute masterpiece of the chefs art. And as wonderful as the beef was, the simple roasted asparagus and heirloom carrot that it brought with it were so perfectly done as to inspire their own moment of blissful appreciation. In short, every bite of this meal was a revelation--not in the form of some novel flavor, but rather of very familiar dishes that anyone familiar with French food has tried dozens of times, but that are done here with such extraordinary competence as to approach perfection. The dessert menu was surprisingly varied (many places, even at the top-end, have gone to three or four offerings, half of which are frozen and probably done weeks in advance). P7 had at least eight, all both tempting and interesting. We opted for the bombe chocolate (beautiful and delicious) and a watermelon, basil and mint sorbet that managed to be both light and intense and was the perfect ending to a rich meal. The wine list is excellent and markups are reasonable. We started with cocktails so we elected to order by the glass so as to be able to make the drive home. We asked for a big red with plenty of tannins to stand up to the rich beef and owner/sommelier Chris directed us to an excellent California blend that Id have sworn was a Bordeaux. Service was attentive and professional without being intrusive or snooty. Both the owner and the chef came through the dining room to greet guests and both were happy to chat about their offerings. Paris 7th is a real find. Weve dined in restaurants around the world, including not a few that hold Michelin stars, and this will stand up to any of them. To find it in a strip center in the town where the West begins is a very happy surprise. I am looking forward to enjoying this place for many years to come. I

This was not disclosed up front. The menu states filleted for you . They do not tell you this is done in the kitchen and then served to you like any other piece of fish. I enjoy the presentation of the fillet at table and was disappointed I did not get it. I asked why and was told We stopped that during Covid and haven t restarted. Now that we are more or less out of Covid protocols I find that explanation wanting.

The bottles of Wine selection were numerous and the ambiance superb. At the end, I did not leave a tip as it is not in my culture to do so, and at my surprise the owner/waiter (might recognize himself) went outside to be sure that everything was alright (I suppose it was weird to not leave a tip), and indeed the evening had been perfect. It shows how much they care about their customers and to satisfy them. We will surely come back soon to taste their wonderful gastronomy!

Hands down, best restaurant I ve been to in Fort Worth. Way better than anything on Clearfork property, Downtown, or west worth. The man on the phone told me, confidently, that his restaurant was the best in DFW. This made me skeptical. I ate here and I cannot disagree by any measure. Everyone was very kind, accepting, and super attentive. The chef came to see us, we never ran out of water to drink, the wine pairings were phenomenal with the foi grois, and I can just keep going. This surpassed my favorite sushi place down the road, Hatsuyuki Handroll Bar. I m coming here from now on. Ask for the patates au gratin! Try the caviar! Try the escargot! Amazing experience, phenomenal food, gracious hosts!

Had a reservation for 6 on Saturday for a Valentines/Birthday dinner at 8:30. Showed up at 8 and table was ready despite being really busy. We had a prix fixe meal. I didnt know we had only that option when booking, but it was probably the best prix fixe Valentines meal Ive ever had. Usually on these busy nights the service at other high end FW restaurants is backed up, the food is overcooked, and its a rushed experience. We left at 10:45 and everything was timely and excellent. I had the Margret canard, perfectly cooked. I wish I could have had the confit let, but it wasnt available due to the Valentines day event The califlower soup was awesome. Crepes with Espcargo was good also (although I much prefer the traditional method with garlic butter and toast). Desert was Brandy Ice with a strawberry palmier. My dinner guests all loved their food. Wife most of our other guests had the beef filet and they were all cooked perfectly. Service was very good but they forgot my second course soup. I had to tell my table to eat without me while they made it. Would definitely go back.

Get your Paris in Texas! The red headed/bearded waiter is the best & has a great personality. Excellent service, ambiance & the best place to get escargot & Foie Gras. If that scares you get the French onion soup & Beef Bourguignon or a perfect steak.

This is a legitimate classical French fine dining restaurant in a cozy, intimate white tablecloth setting located in the cultural arts district. Service is top notch with multiple servers per table. We enjoyed the caviar with white Russian vodka chasers, escargot served perfectly, French baguettes, champagne spritzers with appetizers and an excellent Cabernet selected by our server to pair perfectly with our entrees. Entree choices are excellent: filet mignon, veal chops, crusted lamb, etc.. Expresso drinks finished off the evening as desert. If you are looking for an elegant evening then Paris 7th is an excellent choice. Parking: Parking is easy to find and located directly in front of the restaurant.

Our family celebrated a special evening, and we enjoyed great food and great service at Paris 7th. Two of us had the halibut with risotto special, and I loved the fois gras appetizer. The menu had a nice variety from which to choose, and everyone seemed pleased with their choices. The noise level was pleasantly low, and that is always an important issue for me. I look forward to returning for another celebratory event.

Classic French dining experience. Maitre D was hospitable and cordial. We enjoyed the table butter and fresh bread. I had the lemon drop martini cocktail which was excellent. My girlfriend had a French 75. Both made with fresh lemon. Service was always attentive here. We enjoyed the petit fromage and escargot appetizers. My duck was tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned; excellent with the supreme oranges. Too many frites but thats not a bad thing! I highly recommend coming here once for the experience, and then again on occasion. They are welcoming and the food is great

We really enjoyed our first visit to Paris 7th. The menu is sophisticated, the room is beautiful without being stuffy or over the top, and the service is friendly and knowledgeable. Its a very good wine list and Chris, the somm, was incredibly helpful (and we were fortunate to have him as our primary server). Oh, and his barrel-aged Manhattan was amazing. Our group had dishes including the seared foie gras, the French onion soup, two salads... the filet, the duck two ways, and the roast duck... all very well executed to French bistro / restaurant standards. Well definitely be back! I cant wait.

Very nice evening out. Greeted as we entered and treated we by each staff member all evening long. We went with the Restaurant week menu and had a fabulous dinner. We started with Escargot to share. It was excellent, but maybe a bit hot so let it cool slightly after bring our of the shell. Second Course we both went with the French Onion Soup. It was also excellent and very hot. Perfect for a cool January evening. Main course. My wife had the Sole Bonne Femme and I had the Cote Dr Porc Basquaise (pork chop) Both were prepared well and had very food presentation. A side of mashed potatoes for the table we very good. We finished the evening with desert. I had a Brandy Ice (similar to a brandy alexander) and my wife had the layered chocolate cake. Truly a good way to end the meal. Overall we will be back, but my budget probably wont allow it to be every week.

Tucked in a small strip, Paris 7th surprised me with an inviting foyer and an open dining room. Upscale setting and a nice background music - who else but Mireille Mathieu! The specials get delivered to you on a chalk board which makes it fancy! The special white bean soup was delicious but I was given a gigantic spoon to eat with. The duck was amazing - try the Roti! The dessert, which name I cannot pronounce, was out of this world! My time was made special by my wonderful waiter who was witty and knowledgeable, the maitreD and possibly the owner who stopped by my table. The hostess was very nice, but the white shorts she had on did not quite match the French style, suites and the long aprons...(mental note). Overall a great experience and definitely going back!

Pompous, sloppy service, boring over-salted food, over-priced, in a word pathetic. I am a Texan with a place in Paris and have never had such a bad meal in a place that lay any claim to good cooking.. The self-appointed sommelier was almost comic. Food was dry, a tapenade without olives or caper (or indeed taste), a boeuf without proper vegetables, a cassoulet without proper beans, not a single positive thing to be said about the place. To be avoided.
