We love Roots. We love the people. Ambra and Elecya were amazing. We had our wedding and reception there and they made it so easy. We gave them essentially no time to plan. They came up with a plan that was personal and unique. It was a perfect and memorable night that exceeded our expectations. From the food to the drink to the decor and the ceremony, it was all perfect. Ambra and Elecya were always available to help us with plans. They listened to exactly how we wanted the night to be. We could not have asked for a better venue and team for our special occasion.

Roots Ft Worth is SO. MUCH. FUN!! We did a Galentine s party here and the place was awesome. There was plenty of space and they did food and cute decorations. It made our Galentines extra special to have it at this venue. I would highly recommend it for your next wedding, girls night, party, etc.

Thank you to all the staff at Roots first and foremost, the most accommodating, attentive and thoughtful group of young ladies Ive had the chance to work with. They worked their butts ofd and it came together SO BEAUTIFULLY. We gave Ambra the full reins to organize, manage, and orchestrate and it could not have gone better. Her eye for colors, material and tasteful touches was exquisite. Thank you all for the help, we couldnt have done it without yall.

Date Night: Cocktail Making Class - what a great night! It was a cozy, comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere. We double dated and had such a fun time learning to make new cocktails. The house bartender did a spectacular job teaching and entertaining us. We highly recommend for a date night! (We suggest dinner a couple doors down at a great Mexican restaurant before the event)

I recently had a weekday elopement at Roots Fort Worth, and it was everything we could have hoped for. The whole experience was stress free and let me enjoy to the day with my closest family and friends. Ambra and her team are so positive, so friendly, and got things done. The venue is so cute and can be used for so many different occasions. I will definitely be keeping them in mind for any other event they have or any other occasion we might have!

As soon as I saw the venue I immediately fell in love. The building has of course been updated but still kept its historic charm. We had a New Years Eve wedding at Roots and it was absolutely perfect. The location was perfect for our holiday wedding. All of our guests went on and on about how cute and unique the layout was, and it comfortably held 80 people including us. I didnt want a huge wedding, just big enough for all of our close family and friends. Ambra the owner, and her team were a breeze to work with. I did not have a wedding planner, I decided to do everything solo and they were very accommodating to work with. They helped with all of the layout designs, and on the day of they were there helping until after the ceremony. Our night was flawless and we had so much fun! Very nice venue, attended a birthday party there. I cant speak on costs or anything of the likes but it was a nice place. Only bad thing is the bar is outdoors...so if u bartend and get booked here make sure ya wear a Jacket..I felt bad for her though she kept saying she was fine.

I could go on and on about all the issues from the wedding night. I spent the whole night just trying to make the wedding happen the way the bride imagined it. Even though Ambra was a month of coordinator she left half way through and her own employee who replaced her (Janay) said she had only had the timeline for maybe 2 hours (the bride had been working with Ambra for months) Literally the bridesmaids were taking out the trash throughout the wedding. Some stuff was vendors, a lot was venue and coordinator. Even if we had to bus our own tables, they could have had boxes ready or somewhere to put stuff? I was in my dress carrying like 10 glasses and the Janay had me tossing everything in the office because no one knew where to put anything. Im over it honestly. The bride had a good time and guests seemed mostly unaware, thats all that matters. What it comes down to is no, I would not recommend this venue to anyone.

This is a beautiful venue with so much potential. Unfortunately, the managements poor communication left much to be desired. People spend a good deal of money and time making sure their wedding day is taken care of months in advance. This management left last minute changes for the bride to deal with the day of and provide no resource or alternatives. I m curious to see if management addresses these negative reviews like they are the 5 stars.

In all honesty, I could not have had a worse experience with Roots. I toured with the owner, Ambra, and booked a 100-person wedding in Jan 2022. She told me at that time we could have the ceremony upstairs, cocktail hour downstairs, dinner in the ballroom and reception downstairs after catering cleared out. I toured again in June with my mother to look again at decor placement and things. At that time, the venue manager seemed shocked we were having a 100-person wedding there. They emailed me later that afternoon telling me they could not accommodate my numbers for the ceremony. I had even emailed and confirmed my numbers with Ambra before I sent out formal invitations. I booked based on the fact that I could do all activities at roots. Ambra completely misrepresented her venue s capacity, and I had to book an additional venue for the ceremony. From that point on, it was a nightmare. Ambra was not apologetic or accommodating after her blatant lie 3 months before my wedding. My groom overheard her telling staff I was difficult and particular at set up. She initially told me the reception would be outside and showed me where the DJ would be. Then on the day of, said the only place the DJ could be was inside with low music outside. The problem was there was nowhere to dance inside. So the only space to dance had quiet music. The groomsmen ended up pushing the tables aside after awhile so we could dance. It was overall pretty raggedy. It s a cute venue, and it would be good for an event under 60 people, but dealing with the owner was not worth it. I ve never been so disappointed in a vendor s treatment of clientele. I wish I would ve attempted to break my contract the second she told me she could no longer accommodate 100 and suggested I move my wedding to a cocktail style event.

The pictures for The Roots are gorgeous but you have to see this place up close and personal. The ambiance is everything. I had a baby shower there but the venue can be used for almost anything. The owner was very professional and very sweet. She made sure I had everything I needed to make my event special. The place also provided access to an outdoor patio. If you re looking for a nice elegant place to host an event, look no further and book now. You will not be disappointed.

So happy that we chose Roots for my sons Rehearsal Dinner! We were looking for something different than the ordinary places and Roots was perfect! It is a beautiful venue with a back porch and upstairs porch area that we were able to use even in the heat of summer. The atmosphere, food, drinks were all great! My DIL wanted a Champagne Tower and the owner was so helpful and excited to help make that a realty! We highly recommend Roots and would use them again in a heartbeat!

What a shame. Ive been looking for a venue to host a nice bridal shower and Roots misses that mark. An event celebrating love cannot be associated with this venue, best known for hate and exclusion of Gods children. We are Christians, meaning, we honor all and leave the judgement to our Lord, as commanded. Many invited guests would decline an invitation to any venue best known for hate. A wedding shower is supposed to exude love and it seems like very bad luck and a terrible way to begin a marriage, in general. No. I am looking elsewhere so the bride can be honored, not embarrassed by our choice. This venue was just ok, the facility is not worth the sad shame it casts on us all.

In June of this year Roots hosted my baby shower, it was BEAUTIFUL! Not only did the owner make sure every detail was picture perfect, the process was so easy and fun. We had about 50 guests, an outdoor bar, upstairs lounge and plenty of space inside for cake, presents and dancing. The location is in historic Northside and the building itself has the most lovely details. I highly recommend checking it out for a birthday party, shower or any event for guests up to 75!

The moment I walked in the door here I knew it would be the perfect venue for my husbands 40th birthday party. We used this space for a baby shower and it was great! Lots of indoor/outdoor options, and seating + tables came with the venue rental! The space is a great one to make your own for the event and is perfect for events that are too large for a personal home, but too small for a huge venue. We had about 30 guests and there was still plenty of room for many more to have been able to comfortably attend.

We had my wifes surprise 30th bday party at Roots and Ambra (owner) is the most accommodating person I have ever dealt with in event planning. The venue is the perfect size, and Ambra had connections with every last vendor we needed to have the perfect event. Like most men I am not exactly an expert with party planning, so it was great that Ambra could take my vague explanation for what I wanted and deliver what I had in mind. The space is beautiful and can work for as casual or as fancy of an event as you want to have. The back patios are awesome, every last detail of the space was well thought out and properly executed.
