The Cinderella ballet was excellent and the actors were perfect! The chairs on the first floor were VERY uncomfortable and looked like they were purchased from a movie theater from the 1960s. If you are under 5 tall and skinny then you might be okay with the chairs. Thank goodness there were 2 intermissions to stretch!

UNTRUSTWORTHY. A review for Bass Hall Security and Tom?, is this you? Yesterday, when I needed help, Bass Hall Security Team decided to tell me I needed to reach out to you to have the help I needed. Then they told me I could not have the information needed to contact you. Hmmm?? Also, they said they would reach out for me. But, and most importantly here, as I waited for you , they thought I had left, and Bass Hall Security started talking about how they didn t want to help me so weren t going to reach out to you. (Let s be clear. Keep in mind, at this point, I was patiently waiting as I thought they were genuinely trying to reach you as they said they were trying to, and I could hear them talking behind their office divider about how they would not try to help me). That was my cue that they were not trying to help me, and I told Bass Hall Security that I had realized that and left. And, As I now have no other venue, I have made my appeal here. If you do see this message Tom, please do reach out so we can amend this unfortunate review where both you and I were thrown under the bus by Bass Hall Security. Thank you. Unfortunately, a severely disappointing experience at best. Tom, please do reach out. Together, let s get out from under this bus! Tom?

The first time I was inside this building I was 9 years old and I absolutely fell in love with it. I am now 31 and I went back for the first time since I was 9 and I can say my love for this place has not changed at all. Now I want to shine on a woman who works there named Julie (I want to say her last name started with a G) I had a huge rip in the back of my dress. I lady found ms Julie and she came to me to let me know she was going to hunt down some safety pins. Now, This was while I was waiting in the lobby by the bar area. My husband was getting me a drink. He came back and we just went to our seats (I gave up on the safety pins) 20 minutes later JULIE FOUND ME AT MY SEAT TO GIVE ME THE SAFETY PINS SHE FOUND FOR ME!!! I cannot exress my gratitude enough for this womans dedication to helping me out! So Julie, if you read this, THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH! YOU ABSOLUTELY MADE MY EVENING AND I WILL NEVER FORGET SUCH A KIND ACT. YOU DIDNT HAVE TO COME AND FIND ME BUT YOU DID AND I WILL FOREVER BE GREATFUL FOR THAT!

Unfortunately, when I purchased my tickets, I thought I was purchasing through Bass Hall. I ended up purchasing my tickets for Mamma Mia through Vivid Seats. I am told through Vivid Seats that Bass Hall never released the tickets to them in order to complete my order. Today, July 20, 2024. Is the day That I was supposed to celebrate my birthday with a couple of girlfriends, one that flew in from Florida, and I have no tickets. Vivid Seats is saying the office that deals with Bass Hall is closed on the weekends and unfortunately, I m just out of luck. Be careful with whom you deal with when you re booking your tickets, just pay attention. I purchased tickets on April 6, 2024.

The Bass Hall is a beautiful venue, and most seating is comfortable. However there is some seating located behind a concrete partition that is less desirable. Parking is easy and close by, traffic is heavy and patience is required afterwards. Just recently was thrilled by a performance of Hamilton, incredible, front row right behind the Orchestra conductor. This month, Mamma Mia, I cant wait.

The building itself is beautiful! The architectural elements reminiscent of the art nouveau style. I don t think there s a poor seat in the building. The last time we went our seats were lower and more like box seats. The staff were exceptional. We had some mobility issues and the valets went above and beyond in caring for both of us. Our ushers helped hide crutches until they were needed again. The bar staff moved the lines as quickly and graciously as possible during intermission. I have only two suggestions. One, during very popular shows, setting-up bars on all levels may be advisable. Another option could be a water only station on all levels because not everyone wants adult beverages. I missed 2 songs trying to purchase bottled water. Two, I m sure this is an impossibility, but the elevator service is rather slow. I can walk stairs, but they are often a struggle. I gave up waiting for the elevator during intermission and used the stairs to find a drink station. I left five stars because the staff really did everything within their power to care for guest needs and the show was fabulous!

One of the ushers took the time to explain the painted glass dome and the symbolism, that they do free tours on Saturday mornings and then told us about some great things to do after the show. I was concerned about the dress code and went in dress pants and a button-up shirt and felt very comfortable. Also, I would give yourself about 20 minutes to get parked and inside.

The first time I visited Bass Hall was in 1997 or 1998. They were building it, and an engineer friend invited us to tour it. As we began climbing the scaffolding, I suddenly realized that we were looking at the ceiling. Stuart and Scott Gentling had painted feathers and clouds on the ceiling. The tour guide suggested we touch it as we would never be able to again. I ll never forget attending my first performance there when I looked up and saw the masterpiece with the Gentling birds. It took my breath away. I have seen many shows, plays, symphonies, musicals, Van Cliburn competitions over the years. It is Fort Worth s premiere venue. The angels will forever invite us to love the arts.

Very beautiful venue. I really appreciated how helpful the staff was. I am a disabled veteran. The staff was very attentive and I had no problem storing my walker during the show. I have vision impairment and the ushers were very helpful in showing me to my seat. I enjoyed The show such a beautiful night.
