Great escape room! Well thought out - the Clock Tower had lots of moving parts and our group of 7 was all engaged the whole time. We appreciated the hints and had a great time! I would love to come back and try other rooms!

We did the clock tower and it was absolutely horrible. We wanted to leave 15 minutes into because there was no way to solve it without getting clues. There was no context to the clues. We solved the puzzles correctly many times and it didn t register and move on. Costing us lots of time. We do not recommend at all.

The game was fun the staff was absolutely horrible, rude, seemed very put off we were even there. For how much it costs I would expect better. I ve been to many escape rooms and the staff made the experience so much more enjoyable. I took people that had never been and told them how great and immersive these games were but the staff was a total buzzkill. Do yourself a favor and take your business somewhere else. The staff at downtown Fort Worth will thank you.

I have done over 25 escape rooms and this one is in my bottom 5 . I ll start with the bad . The room we chose was Jurassic it was dirty and sort of broken . We felt several clues had been solved and then after the 4th time solving them it would finally work as it was supposed to . The clues were disjointed and didn t follow a true pattern. The staff was not super helpful and at the end told us children get out of the room which made us feel bad . Oh and the star/ egg incubator was nearly impossible to navigate . There were positives like the esthetics of the room were very well thought out and felt immersive . I also think the staff at the front desk were welcoming and the space was not hot as some previous reviews stated . Overall for the money you are paying it s just not worth it . There are other rooms in the area that provide a more positive overall experience .

We did the The Clock Tower and literally half the items in the room didn t work. We had to jiggle items to get it to work, items were just unlocked, and you can clearly tell things were incredibly old. You can find far better, cheaper escape rooms in the DFW area, DO NOT waste your money here

Awful experience. The room was cool, and set up nicely but many of the clues did not make any sense, and nothing eluded to the result. The staff is what ruined it for us. They were so incredibly rude from the beginning. Also when we d ask for a hint, it took several times asking and a minute or two before they replied. Those minutes can add up quickly over the course of time. Very bad experience.

Me and my partner chose the clock tower a d let me tell you that was BAD, aside of the employees having an attitude the moment you arrive because how dare you ask questions.. (the employee that brought us to the room was okay) the room interactive things were nNOT RESPONSIVE whatsoever, we managed to get through to the last room, it was BORING, absolutely disappointed in all if it. I think we should get a refund. This is ridiculous. Try at your own risk, but i would say dont waste your money

Overall, I d say that our group had a fun time. However, stars were lost for a few reasons. It was not a very immersive experience. We were basically just told that we had to kill dinosaurs and given a walkie talkie. The clues seemed not so clear. Many of the hints we received were something we would never have thought of doing so it doesn t make the puzzle very solvable without hints. The cherry on top was that the staff were not very enthusiastic. I get it, I ve worked with the public, but you gotta play the part in a job where you put people in an immersive experience. Btw, did not like that the Jurassic room did not have a themed door.

We did The Theater, and it was fun. After reading some of the reviews, I am grateful we got the young gentleman we did to help us because he was super nice. He definitely made our experience that much better. We wanted to do a second room after our first, but we couldnt for some reason. It was kind of confusing. First, they said we could do one room. Then, that room wasnt available, but they didnt say because it was booked. After that, they said we could do another room, but that room was in someones cart online? It was only 15 minutes to that rooms time, and we were there ready to pay. If the person online decides not to do the room, they missed out on any money. That was kind of a bummer. Overall, we had fun though.

I wouldnt do it again.. if that says anything. The building is old, okay I get it but when you first walk in the whole place just looks run down and kind of dirty. We picked the Jurassic Escape, it wasnt the one we wanted to do but it was the only one to work with our schedule. The staff was nice but not very sociable or comical for a place thats supposed to be adventurous and fun. Hopefully, the other rooms were more thrilling than the Jurassic Escape. At first, it was fun but as time went on the task of finding the clues to proceed to the next became completely unrelated to the whole storyline of destroying the DNA. The next issue was the whole place was HOT, almost no A/C. We were a group of 9 it got hot fast. After we completed the escape we walked out of the room to get informed they had props and a TV to take all the pictures we wanted. At that point, we were all too hot to put on any props, and part of the TV with the Jurassic Park theme didnt work. We paid 275.00 for an hour and I would say I was highly disappointed. It wasnt what we thought it would be and wont be going back.

AVOID THIS ESCAPE ROOM AT ALL COSTS! Save yourself the time and money and find yourself another place. They DO NOT take walk ins. Ended up booking the earliest open room - the submarine for $145. Crazy price for a room that looked used and abused. Employee was rude and talks to you like an idiot. The challenges in the room do not work properly and are really buggy. Would need to do the same thing multiple times in order for it to register. We were literally waving and yelling to get someone s attention to get a clue, NO response for several minutes as if the employee was not paying attention. Then, while we re figuring things out she starts talking to us like idiots over the speaker. Your cameras can verify our experience. Avoid this place like the plague.

Me and my girlfriend do about 2 escapes per month, this was the first time going to this room location. The employees had an attitude, I understand that we were probably the last of the day and you might be in a rush to go home. But we did pay nearly 120$ which is more than I have ever paid for 2 people for an average escape room to get attitude and rushed around. We even showed up 30 minutes early. In the very first room we were in the door broke from I guess previous usage and after wasting several minutes another employee with an attitude came in and had to fix it. I do not recommend this place, there is multiple in the area and for nearly half the price you can have someone that enjoys their job and working with people.

We were nervous about the escape room after we booked without reading reviews first. 2 of us did the Bank Heist with the guidance of the attendant Arlette. The room was cool. We were nervous after everyone complained about the heat in the reviews. Arlette was perfect at setting us up and giving us the rules. We got out with the new record of 46:00 and had a blast doing it. Thanks for an amazing night in Fort Worth visiting this escape room after traveling in from Arkansas.

Don t waste your money. The staff said the A/C hasn t worked in 2 years. We played the Submarine game so it was actually ok temperature inside and the design/decor was really cool. Some of the game design was torn apart & some was actually broken which killed our time since we couldn t progress. The game master didn t believe us that an electronic connection was broken and gave us attitude when we asked her to check it. But, She checked it and confirmed it was broken so that it prohibited us from completing the game. She offered NO apologies! Then had the gall to ask us if we enjoyed ourselves. We asked for a discount on playing an additional game and were denied. Also the staff at the front desk could not help us either as they were too busy on their cell phones to be of any assistance. Asked again for a discount to play an additional game due to the broken equipment in our game as we were still willing to play and were denied. Just a trash place A equipment and lack of customer service . Very disappointed !

WORST ESCAPE ROOM EXPERIENCE EVER!!! WALKED OUT. My boyfriend and I have done 80+ escape rooms and this was the worst venue we have EVER been to. We booked 3 back to back rooms: Meltdown, Jurassic, and Clock Tower. When we got there the guy at the front desk looked like he did not want to be there and didn t engage with us at all. Nothing. We gave him the benefit as he may have had a long or off day. A couple had just came out of the Meltdown room and the game master had attitude with them and it was just a super awkward encounter to watch. That should have been the first red flag. My partner and I own an escape room and entering the venue and leaving the venue was disappointing to encounter as it should have been a cherry on the top to their experience, but it s more so like they just don t care and the little details like customer service and establishing a relationship with the customer didn t matter at all. We did the Meltdown room first and the room was so confusing with tons of red hearings and puzzles that didn t even need to be completed to move on to the next puzzle? Couldn t even tell when you were done with a specific puzzle. Just typing things into a computer and 4 little tech kiosks running the entire game. The last puzzle was VERY disappointing along with other puzzles that had no correlation to the theme, but we escaped with about 9 mins left only due to the prior experience we had. We jumped right into Jurassic and things were unplugged, the game master said she wouldn t limit us to 4 hints but then let us sit there for 20 MINS doing NOTHING at the end when we used 4 hints. We were stuck and if we knew she was actually going to limit us to the 4 hints we wouldn t have asked for that many and would have planned them out more. I CANNOT believe a venue would let a paying customer sit there or do nothing for 20 mins (yes we kept track). Especially since we payed $240 and still had to do another room after Super awk. We jumped into Clock Tower right after and were told we really need to put on our thinking caps and 80% of groups escaped the last room we did. LOL I can t imagine a group of first timers or younger groups doing any of these rooms and correlating things that have zero direction. We didn t even get out of the first room in the Clock Tower room and again we sat there for 25+ mins doing NOTHING. We asked them to please help and they said we already used the 4 hints, sorry. We were absolutely miserable and they just let us walk out and leave. The guy at the front desk didn t even lift his head from his computer and WE had to be the ones to say thank you goodbye Awful venue and horrible customer service. We have NEVER walked out of a venue, but we would just be sitting in that hot room trying to do something with the tons of clocks they have and puzzles that make no sense. If you re new to escape rooms: AVOID. If you re an enthusiast: AVOID. Just AVOID tbh and to the venue and employees please know people are spending their hard earned money to have fun and not to be told they can t finish a room and miss out on the experience because they have asked help on 4 out of the 25 random puzzles they have.

WALKED OUT -WORST ESCAPE ROOM EXPERIENCE My girlfriend and I have done 80 escape rooms and this by far is the worst experience we have ever had. We came to Texas to do escape rooms around the state. I guess shame on us for not reading Yelp reviews before hand. We booked three rooms back to back to back. $240 and 3 hours WASTED. The Meltdown room looked cool when you go in but most puzzles or stations aren t even used? We escaped with 9 min to spare but we both looked at each other like.. that s it? It was so LACKLUSTER. There was no Hero Moment at all. We then did the Jurassic room. Also looked cool.. at first.. we were told by our game master that she wouldn t be stingy on the 4 hint rule but once we asked for a fifth hint she said sorry you used your four hints.. We had literally 20min left in the room and not a clue on what to do. The clues and puzzles had ZERO direction. This goes for all the rooms by the way. Meaningless. Pointless. Random. After sitting around (yes I literally sat on the floor) the time ended and we were walked straight to the third room we booked, the clock tower. We didn t even get to the second room and again after our 4 hints were told we can no longer get help. We were fed up and literally walked out with 10min left on the clock. No one stopped us, no one said goodbye, nothing. WE were the ones that said goodbye to the man at the front desk and he didn t even turn his head to acknowledge us. This place is a literal joke. We own an escape room and would truly be MORTIFIED if a customer had HALF as bad of an experience as this. They should truly be ashamed to own an escape room. Escape rooms are about the customers, the experience, and immersion. Not about seeing the customers as $$. Its venues like this that turn away good customers that just want to have fun. PLEASE choose a different venue when looking to try an escape room and if you are an escape enthusiast like us, avoid this franchise.

First of all, we called for help and an automated response told us IRRELEVANT things then hung up on us. We wanted to go, so we went in person to ask the question, when we got there, the bald guy working on the front desk had such an attitude, (management if you see this, get this fixed asap). Booking was easy. I needed to add 3 extra members. He facilitated the addition of my members. I took the Money Heist adventure for my kids and a couple of their friends. They absolutely loved it. It was amazing to just watch them workout through clues. I want to give a shout out to the friendly staff member. Very kind experience from start to end. My kids and friends will be going again. 3 friends and I tried out the Meltdown escape room on wednesday afternoon. The building feels like it was maybe a repurposed theater or something similar which we thought was really cool. The only gentleman working at the time was not a people person and killed our vibes before we could even get started (which by reading some of the other reviews must be the same rude gentleman). The room itself was decorated well and felt immersive. Ive previously done 30+ escape rooms and felt like this room had no real direction. The clues were helpful to keep us on the right path, but sometimes felt like the gamemaster was just pushing us along. 5 total work stations in the first room but only 3 of them were used and the door to the next room opens? We ended up escaping the room with about 18 min to go, but didnt know that we had completed it. The door just opens and our gamemaster was there to tell us that we were done which is completely dissatisfying. It was a Meh experience all around and I was just going to go about my day like normal, but then you sent me an email telling me we didnt escape (even though we did with 18 min remaining) and asking me to leave a review, so here I am. Your staff sets the vibe for customers when they come in and your employee is ruining this for most people. Escape room was mediocre.

It was ok. One of the puzzles was not reset and it had two puzzles that led up to it. So we essentially didnt get to do three puzzles. There was no cohesiveness between the puzzles, it was like a shot in the dark figuring out what we were supposed to do. The game master even admitted afterwards that she missed resetting it. At that point you dhould be giving a partial refund because we missed a decent chunk because of it.

Not as friendly as we d have in past experiences. Didn t truly understand the story of the Time Machine escape room plus no one else was there and when went went to ask questions about the room the employee said leave I m resetting. If it was packed and there was another reservation I think that would be understandable. Also note not super easily finagle. It s tucked underground between an awesome Irish pub and a tattoo parlor.

Unfortunately probably the worst escape room Ive done (Bank Heist). Puzzles werent creative, staff gave way too many un-asked for clues despite us requesting multiple times to be given less clues (even finished the game with 20 min to spare...). The room itself was in fairly poor condition and a couple puzzles werent reset. All in all just a bummer

For something I was looking forward to as a fun night out with my family; I was so disappointed. I brought my family to this location for my mother s birthday celebration, and will never go back again. The escape room itself was an ok experience; however, the game master /worker was BEYOND rude. He literally treated us like we were tissue on the bottom of his shoe. I have never in my life been treated so poorly, and I worked in the service industry for 7years! On top of the rudeness of the person there that evening, the place was gross! I went to the ladies room and was disgusted at the sight. Had there been time to leave and come back for our time slot I would not have used those facilities. Please beware if you are looking for some escape room fun, because this is not the place. I m sure there are much better establishments near by that can provide better service.

We did both the clock tower and Jurassic and really enjoyed both. I think clock tower was my favorite. Definitely worth going to. The staff was great. Had a great time!!

We have done several escape rooms in DFW over the years and the Jurassic Park room here is by far the worst room we ve ever done. There are either no clues, things are broken, or the clues you can access do not lead you anywhere - there was no cohesiveness to any of it, and the game master had to basically tell us what to do every step of the way. There was one puzzle where you had to light things up in a certain order and there was NO CLUE indicating we had to do this - we didn t miss the clue, either; the game master just had to blatantly tell us how to solve it on the walkie talkie. Super disappointed to spend almost $50 per person for a room with no puzzles to solve.

Was in the area and thought this would be fun. Looking online there were several rooms available starting within the next 45 minutes, so we swung by. We were told that walk ins were not welcome, and that there was nothing available for the next hour. He told us to go online to make a reservation. I pulled up my phone saw that it still showed several rooms going in the next 30 minutes. I went to reserve one and it said it was no longer available. I refreshed the page, clicked one for 30 minutes out. Got all the way to the confirmation page and then it had an error. I asked him what happened and he said those time slots were just booked and no longer available, and then again said it will be an hour. I refresh the page again, now somehow there are only rooms for 2 hours out. I ask him, he does something on the computer, then acts oblivious. I refresh again, oh look, now one for 1.5 hours away magically came back. Clearly he was manipulating the time s available to fit his desires, but i cant do anything about it, so i booked the one for 1.5 out. After we left to kill time, 1/2 of the times that were unavailable reappeared as bookable. Get there for the room a few minutes early so we can have a restroom break before hand. One restroom was out of order and the other 2 were dirty with no toilet paper. As we sat there waiting, an employee went to the restroom and without hesitation went into the out of order one

We really enjoyed the experience, and the staff was great. This venue isnt wheelchair accessible. You have to go down stairs to enter, with no elevator visible. When we asked about an elevator to leave for a member of our party who struggles with stairs, the staff members were able to help us get to an elevator that put us out on the 5th street side of the block. I highly recommend the experience, but those with mobility issues will struggle.

I have been to a few escape different escape rooms and I decided try out this place since I completed all the other rooms at the facility I typically go to. I was very disappointed to see that the game wasn t reset properly & so many things were broken. I took my family for a fun first time experience and ended up leaving explaining how not every escape room is as bad as this place. Our game master somehow switched in the middle of the game to a guy who had no idea where we were, when we would ask for clues he would give us clues to something we solved a while ago. Overall not very satisfied with my experience and if you are paying almost $35 a person I recommend to take your business elsewhere.

Escape the Room was similar to other escape rooms I ve tried. The scene was clean and made sense for the story. The puzzles were hard but not crazy hard. It was solvable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The only thing I didn t like is they would give hints with out asking. I wish they would have waited and let us ask. Although, we only escaped with 7 minutes left. So if they had waited, we probably wouldn t have made it. Overall, it was good and we d go back.
