If you look below, that was the Google review three days into my relationship with this law firm. I was asked to do this by my attorney and at the time I was happy to do it! Lets just say...With the approach and follow through this law firm offers their clients, I see why doing Google reviews day three instead of at the end (Nothing to do with Winning or loosing, nothing is guaranteed) of the case is vital to their Reputation. Oh..And if you have an issue other than billing, good luck getting someone interested enough to call you, and when they finally do...6 months later..You can tell its someone trained not to resolve issues but to bull dog you! And to argue. Just awful. On the bright side, it was the only time I ever saw somone follow through and actually get passionate! To bad I only saw that side when again, they were trying to collect money for something they didnt do. More details to follow! And no worries my attorney no longer works there. I was referred to Kamryn Caldwell by a friend of mine and I have not been disappointed! Kamryn has done a great job of listening and has given me very good counsel. She is very passionate on fathers rights, but respectful on how she goes about it.

Tiffany, my attorney with Cordell outstanding. She was attentive and extremely knowledgeable about the law and the judge. She laid out a plan for our case early on and provided realistic insight as to what to expect. It was a long and difficult journey, but at the end I was awarded primary custody of my daughter. I am eternally grateful.

When I first went looking for a lawyer it was due to a custody battle. This was a few years after my divorce. My ex-wife was looking to move to a different state, but instead of talking to me about this transition she served me with papers to revoke all parental rights. So I went looking for the best representation I could find to advocate for a fathers rights. It didnt take long for Cordell and Cordell to pop up in my searches, and they coined themselves as a law firm for fathers (not to say that they dont advocate for mothers as well). After an initial consultation I was assigned to a lawyer by the name of Lelan Kirk, and he was a true God-send in my time of need. From the start, Lelan tried to get me to see that the situation that I was in was going to take some time and not to let my emotions fuel my worry and fear. He truly was fighting for me and trying to calm me in this situation. On a personal note, an emotional frame of mind costs twice as much as a calm & trusting frame of mind, and all that paperwork youve been served doesnt mean the end of the world until its signed and filed with the courts. As long as you trust in the people youve hired, things arent going to be as bad as you think they will. Lelan and his team made sure to communicate as efficiently as possible to reduce cost for me over the duration of this process. In the end my ex-wife and I were able to reach a winning resolution that would benefit my son. In closing I highly recommend Cordell and Cordell and Lelan Kirk to anyone going through a divorce or custody battle.

I was reluctant to hire an attorney and go through a similar process again. I didn t have very good representation before with my previous attorney. When I called Cordell & Cordell and spoke with Lelan I was immediately put at ease. He was very open, always had a plan and is always there to answer my questions. It was very emotional and stressful at times for me, but Lelan calmed my nerves. He helped me believe I had a chance to come out on the other side happy and more confident. If anyone should ever ask me about a law office or an attorney I will happily say Cordell & Cordell and say ask for Lelan Kirk.

Tiffany McWhorter. By far the best Divorce attorney known to mankind. Off the charts smart. I know Cordell & Cordell concentrate their business for the mans side of a divorce, but I would recommend Tiffany McWhorter to anybody. Her representation far outweighed the cost. I was a recently transitioned veteran and a student when I started my divorce with a different law firm, after a very bad temporary orders hearing I switched over to Cordell & Cordell. Here Kamryn Caldwell picked up my case, the difference was night and day, immediately. Divorce isnt an easy thing to endure for anyone. But I contribute a huge portion of how my life is currently, feeling hopeful, is due having Ms. Caldwell and this firm with me throughout the duration of this incredibly stressful time. She told me more times than I can count Its a marathon not a sprint. We paced ourselves and got what we wanted in the end.

aste): My ex came after me for child support (including retroactive child support) for prior years after my son was already a teenager. We are still in the process of finalizing this nightmare, but Kamryn Caldwell was my saving grace and has diligently worked to pursue settlement agreements and ensure that the Attorney General s figures for retroactive child support were correct (and of course, they weren t). After Ms. Caldwell met with the Attorney General informally, he was on board with Ms. Caldwell s numbers (she used to be a financial analyst by the way, which doesn t hurt just saying). She is literally saving me thousands of dollars in retroactive child support. I appreciate Ms. Caldwell s attention to detail and excellent representation of my interests. Without her, I would be stuck with an order forcing me to pay thousands of dollars more than what the true calculations are. I would recommend Kamryn Caldwell (and Cordell & Cordell) to anyone dealing with child support and other family law matters. Thank you, Kamryn

Divorce is always complicated, but mine was particularly complicated, and we wanted to make things were consistent for our daughter. Kamryn helped us create an amicable outcome that allows me and my ex-wife to co-parent in the best way for our child and also remain friends. She also did this without sacrificing any advocacy on my behalf. I would recommend her to anyone.

Never did I think I would be using a divorce attorney. But life happened and I needed one. The process of divorcing is complicated, emotionally draining and compounds anxiety to a level that overwhelms you. One person that helped calm me was my attorney, Kamryn Caldwell. The ease of speaking with her about the process, financials, what to expect, how long it will take, etc. made things a lot better. Kamryn Caldwell was professional, straightforward, honest and thoroughly explained any question or concern I had. The more I knew the better I felt. Divorce is a life changing event! I was concerned on how I would come out of it. Through the dark days and waiting for that next set date, it was finally over! Now what? I realized how much my attorney helped me! Cordell and Cordell did a great job of navigating me thru my divorce. Kamryn Caldwell was always available to/for me and did a good job of keeping me informed/advised on all matters. Kamryn was very attentive to my concerns every step of the way, and even suggested/encouraged marriage counseling in lieu of divorce, if appropriate . Ultimately divorce prevailed but I greatly thank Cordell & Cordell, specifically Kamryn, for counseling me thru uncharted waters!

I recently hired cordell for my case. I feel that I received the short end of the stick. . I have until July 1 to retrieve all my belongings and take them , I have no idea where. Oh and I have to start paying her 414 a month child support starting in July also. She makes 175k a year, I barely make 10. I had a great job but had to quit because our child was born premature so I stayed home for a year to take care of her. My reward...getting locked out of the house and currently homeless. I received no spousal support...nothing but 2k for my trouble that shes gonna get back in a few months because of child support. I am currently without a job and a 60% disabled vet but that doesnt mean much these days. Veterans arent recognized in the civilian capacity as they should. No one knows what we went though or the sacrifices we made. I did not feel I was made whole as the business with cordell concluded.

Tiffany McWhorter was my 3rd divorce lawyer. The previous 2 had put me into a joke most other lawyers were telling me I would never get dug out of. Within a single week, Tiffany didnt just dig me out of the hole, she dropped my wife in it and completely reversed the situation.

I hired lawyer Heather Oiger and she didnt send notice of hearing to OC and a favorable ruling was then overturned. Cordell and Cordell offered a $500 credit for the mistake but I wanted all the money I had paid to prepare for the case back.

We had an unbelievably horrible experience. Our attorney did not file the paperwork that needed to be submitted to the court before our case, a costly mistake for us, as the other attorney objected and so the main reason we went to court, could not even be address. She was unprepared, we had to resubmit paperwork numerous times, as they were disorganized. We paid over $8000 and in the end, the representation was subpar at best. Our attorney did not do her job. If you are looking for a law firm my suggestion is to pass on Cordell & Cordell. You can find better representation with a smaller firm. Just FYI, when customer service called us, to inquire about our experience, we were told that although they wouldn t be able to do anything with our bill, they appreciated our feedback. Honestly, the mistakes made in court will cost us greatly...a small discount on our bill can t fix that!

My lawyer was friendly and responsive but my overall experience was negative. C&C claims to be experts in men s divorces but I didn t find that to be the case. I would describe C&C as the McDonalds of Family Law - you are rushed through their system and given a sub par product (but at a premium price). Find another family law firm and save yourself $6k+.

Cordell & Cordell Dedicated to helping men is so true Kirk, Lelan C, in Ft Worth Tx, my attorney was there with knowledge an best advice on what an how to do things. Always answered my phone calls or if he was busy never missed calling me back when he was free the same day Im not a lawyer so sometime I didnt understand the wording on papers he would take the time to explain everything in laymans terms an answer any questions that I had. The convenience of doing alot on your phone ,seeing your bill, signing documents, emails an not always having to fax something, or going to his office to sign paperwork was great because Im always traveling. I never felt alone or I didnt know what was going on in my case if something new came up he always called or sent me a email. Gentlemen if you felt like youve done everything you can to save your marriage but you feel like theirs no other option. My divorce was the type described as nuclear. My C&C attorney was a hard-hitter and not only got the opposing party to back down on all their false allegations, but he even managed to get the judge to verbally smack them down in our very last hearing. Partial vindication, but its one nice thing amidst the horror of breaking apart a family, which was not my idea. These guys are really expensive for my budget, a middle class military guy. But you get what you pay for with attorneys. Look nowhere else! C&C will take care of you!

These guys are crooks and liars. They took my for over 10K, didnt get me ANYTHING. Then, when I ran out of money they told me I had to get a different attorney and suckered me into sending them a fax discharging them. I found out later, after not seeing my son FOR A YEAR that by law they have to represent me through the end of the divorce. In the end, I lost everything and went to jail because I didnt have enough money to pay child support. they also have judges on the payroll that they use in the arbitration that play some very twisted games. They also delete any review that doesnt say that they are wonderful. They even rip off US military dads. If you call to complain, they bill you hundreds. DO NOT HIRE THESE CROOKS OR YOU WILL NEVER SEE YOU CHILDREN AGAIN. I tried to sue them but had to stop because I got a visit from some very shady people at my house advising I not do that. Id give 0 stars but you have to pick one or you cant post this. Copy this post and send it to others as it will be deleted soon.

Although divorce is not an easy process for anyone that has to go through it. I was fortunate my divorce was not as complicated or difficult as others, but my attorney Heather Ogier was very helpful and prompt when handling my case and answering my questions. For some this is the worst of times. Youll want a firm to help you navigate through an otherwise gruesome process. The staff at Cordell and Cordell were always considerate of what their clients could be going through as a family. My attorney Heather Ogier, was very communicative (a trait that was absent with my last family attorney) throughout the whole divorce process! I would be the first to admit that my case was not the usual divorce case with stepchildren and CPS involvement. Heather answered my questions with care to my satisfaction.I never felt rushed on the phone or in person. I would recommend the law office to all fathers seeking family court representation in divorce. My experience has been everything that Id hoped for in a divorce attorney and firm. The offices and attorneys at Cordell & Cordell are simply amazing. My divorce was unusually complicated and incredibly stressful. My attorney, Katie Lewis, was an answer to a prayer. I will be forever grateful for her help during the most difficult time in my life. She always made me feel like my case was the most important thing she was working on. She was realistic, thoughtful, understanding, and caring... at least towards me... Im pretty sure that my ex-wifes attorney felt differently. In fact, Im pretty sure my ex-wifes attorney was completely intimidated by her.
