Hire her right now!!! Let me tell you why! Virginia has a huge heart for kids. She will make sure their childhood doesnt get taken away, because of injustice. Virginia will get justice!!! I was referred to Virginia by a friend of a friend that had good results. My son needed an attorney for felony violating probation. She didnt know us or anything about us, Im from Arizona I came down to help my son. My initial fear is that Texas is not friendly toward males of color. Virginia went to Dallas County to see my son and she treated him as though he were her son. She talked to him straight up, she didnt sugarcoat her words. She was a bulldog to get him taken care of & referred us to all the best people. Once he was out we went to her office she came from around her desk and gave him a big hug. Got all of his fees and fines the tune of- $7,000 time served dropped! Virgina was responsive to our calls and emails, which was very important to me being out of state & even after I traveled to TX. Virginia Carter was assigned my criminal case, pro bono, in February, 2021. Upon meeting her there was no question she was happy to take my case. Within minutes she had resolved several question and doubts Id had. Making the legality of things and my own position quite clear. I left feeling much safer and resolved that the evidence would come to light and clear me. Followed her advice to the letter. She remained always available and actively in contact. With an unexpected diligence and speed, she pursued my case. Contacting several people. Set things in motion, with a city detective, that brought the truth out. Before 30 days was even up, my case was before a judge and charges dropped. Before Id even been arraigned to plea. This is unprecedented in my life. No one has ever done this for me. I will recommend her first if anyone is in need of absolute defense in a criminal matter.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars to Virginia and Rachael. This review will never be enough to show my gratitude for the way they not only handled my case/cases but how they treated my wife during the process as well. I was heading down a dark road fast and in a hurry... they both were VERY honest and up front with the charges I was facing... by the Grace of God they were able to work with judge who also could have thrown the book at me and didnt. Because of Virginia, Rachael and Tarrant County I am now almost 3 years sober... have my Drivers License back... have a dream job again using my college degree... have a car again and the blessings continue. I know for a fact I would be sitting behind bars for a long time had it not been for Virginia and Rachael. I cant thank them enough. Would not recommend. Used her for a class B misdemeanor offense for which I was absolutely NOT guilty of. Ended up taking a deferred adjudication plea deal, because I was told that if I went to trial that i might not turn out in my favor, and that in 2 years I could have the offense expunged from my records. Well not only is my particular offense not eligible for expungement, but Im also out of $3,500 in legal fees and court cost. And since then Ive been told by numerous attorneys that even an inexperienced lawyer could have gotten my case easily dismissed. This was my first time ever needing any type of legal counseling, and I used Virginia because a friend referred me to her. In hindsight, instead of panicking I should have taken my time and did my own legal counsel research. In my opinion she is DEFINITELY NOT the attorney to turn to for misdemeanor infractions. Seek representation elsewhere.

She was out the day I had court. She sent a Bonnie Wolf. Talk about unprofessional. She had the audacity to forget my paper work. I had proof of insurance which I provided the day I showed up to sign paperwork and make payment. My Insurance ticket couldnt get dismissed because the dummy didnt bring the copies I gave them!
