I started visiting the 1849 Cigar Shop on a regular basis and am thoroughly impressed. There is a reason Ive become a regular patron there over the last few months. The young lady i spoke with behind the counter was very kind, but their were two different ladies who came out of no where, I guess they work there i dont know, but they were extremely rude. I purchased three different cigars each of course having very different flavor profiles. To my displeasure they all had the same musty smoke covered taste and I will never go back. My money was wasted on three cigars I would have been better off purchasing elsewhere and got my moneys worth. Overall my worst experience to date.

Great selection, everything from high end to everyday cigars. All etc you will need along with a staff that is very knowledgeable as well as customers that provide a welcoming atmosphere and are also very knowledgeable. Only shop i use here in Fort Worth. This place has become one of my favorite haunts to relax - I just can not get here often enough. Staff is pleasant and helpful with selections. The donation drink fridge and coffee bar are well-maintained, and the furniture is inviting and comfy. The cigar selection and pricing are what drew me here in the first place. Come in and stay a while - youll actually want to.

A nice place thats off the main drag to go and have a great time and a cigar. Not a large humidor but they have a excellent selection of some of the more popular cigars there. Nice, comfortable atmosphere to sit and relax and watch the game. It is BYOB.

Very comfortable place to purchase good cigars and smoke them. You can bring your own alcohol or they have a fridge with select beers and soda complimentary. Watch sports on different TVs and a large table I plan on playing dominos at next time I go

Very nice shop. The gentleman working helped my husband pick cigars (hes new to the game) & an ash tray. Hes very knowledgeable & nice. The atmosphere is very relaxing, decorations are fun to look at & its not loud in there.

Hidden gem! Comfy chairs with relaxing atmosphere, staff and customers nice and inviting, tvs for whatever game you want to watch, clean restroom. Coffee and drinks for tips and BYOB with a liquor store next door. Well maintained humidor with fair prices rounds out a great local shop. Easy to get to even if you cant see it from the street - if you see the discount tire its right there.

The cigar prices are very reasonable! I really like the fact that there is an open selection of drinks and snacks that only require a tip in the tip jar. However, the poor rating has come from the owners passive aggressiveness with his approach to noise in his shop. He doesnt care for large gatherings and blames it on other customers. He would ask the one customer thats not a part of the large party, how are your ears doing (due to the noise of 10 people & NO ONE ELSE in the lounge) and that is just unacceptable business practices! Im definitely good on returning to this place there are too many lounges in DFW that LOVE to see their customers have a great time. Unfortunately, 1849 is not one of them.

Prices are accurate and the lounge is very clean. I was greeted when I walked through the door. I purchased two undercrown maduros and one of them looked like this right out of the tube. The other one is perfect. I know this is not the shop s fault but it is still disappointing to see. I will definitely return, though!

The ambience is chill and peaceful ... great spot to enjoy a cigar and have a drink or coffee. Service is on point and the seating is comfortable. If you are in the area this is a place to go enjoy your cigar. It does NOT face the street . Pull into the small shopping center and it is on the left side facing the side parking lot.

It is around the corner of the liquor store. The cashier at the head shop next to the liquor store lied to me and said 1849 was a game room. If you go in there, do not believe him, he will lie to you. However this place had a very nice atmosphere the woman manning the register was very friendly and very helpful and I will be returning.
