Everything was delicious. I had a hard time settling on what to eat because everything on the menu looked great! I got the breakfast mac-and-cheese; and at first, when it arrived, I thought it didnt look cheesy enough, but it definitely was! So good! Our waitress was awesome, too. I cant wait to go back!

On my vist I got the, Hey Rick ! Omelette, Countryside skillet, avocado toast, very berry French toast and the strawberry cheesecake pancakes. Honestly I had high hopes for this restaurant because of the reviews and the rating on trip advisor. Honestly it s just below mediocre food. Everything just felt super generic. The pancakes were super disappointing, nothing special it just tasted like super generic pancake batter. The omelette wasn t the best it just tasted like egg (yeah I know it s an omelette)and nothing else. The filling for the omelette was non existent I couldn t taste anything. The countryside skillet was okayish but the gravy tasted like it came from an MRE which tasted awful. The avocado toast was good but the salmon was warm which made it super mushy and off putting. I think the thing that was pretty good was the French toast but it wasn t anything to gloat about. Our server didn t pay too much attention to us. When he first came by and dropped our coffee off at the table he put the utensils on the table which to some it s no big deal but to me I feel that it s gross because the table wasn t 100% clean. The water that they have at the table has some black spots on the neck. It looked like mold . I told my server about and he gave me a deer in the headlights look as to what do you want me to do about it ? Instead of him taking some initiative and saying sorry let me replace this. Nope I had to tell him to replace it, the waiter didn t have attention to detail because I asked the water to have no ice and they both came with ice. The server didn t really check in on us at all but with other tables he was a chatter box. I would say don t come here if you want overpriced less than mediocre food. Don t listen to all those other reviews because more than likely they are tourists that need somewhere to go eat with the large amount of hotels in the area.

Yolk in Fort Worth was the perfect start to our trip. The food was simply amazing every dish was flavorful and fresh. Despite the restaurant being busy, we were pleasantly surprised to be seated within just 5 minutes. Our experience was elevated by our waitress, Dalia, who was nothing short of exceptional. She offered great recommendations that truly enhanced our meal. Her attentive service and warm personality made our visit even more enjoyable.Overall, Yolk delivered on both food and service, setting a great tone for the rest of our trip. Highly recommended!

First time trying this place. My husband and I got here on a Saturday morning at 700am when they opened. Immediately greeted by the staff and sat down. Got my coffee which was fresh. We had two eggs, bacon and seasoned potatoes. I got mini waffles on the side and my husband got sourdough bread. It was simple, not greasy and delicious. I would definitely come back again when I am in town.

Good breakfast resturaunt, great service. My only complaints were ambiance. It kind of felt like eating in a school caféteria and the eggs okay but not amazing. I felt like if I was going to go to a brunch resturaunt called Yolk their eggs should be outstanding. But thats just my opinion. Other than that, I definitely recommend giving it a try!

I wish I had one of these places closer to home. I loved my oatmilk horchata. Since I went twice to this place during my time in Ft. Worth I enjoyed the Chicken And Waffles and took a chance on one of their many options of eggs Benedict. Both were made perfectly . This place is consistent and clean. The staff is friendly and attentive. My only complaint is there isnt one in the DC metro area! Also, loved the habañero sauce!!!

Im only writing this because I have some serious health concerns after eating there. We sat at the bar because there was no wait, and witnessed some concerning practices. First, the little glass mason jars they give you for water are filled with ice by dunking them directly into the ice bucket, sometimes 2 at a time (I could hear them clink against each other). Anyone with bar experience could tell you this is a good way to get a surprise glass shard in your ice. Second, the bottles of water they give to refill your water glasses are not cleaned between tables. They just bring them back behind the bar and refill them, they dont even dump them out, they just top it off and send it back out. No way to know if someones hands or mouth had been on it before you got it. There was a manager there and he spent a good chunk of time behind the bar, which leads me to believe this isnt just an employee taking shortcuts, but is standard practice. I truthfully dont feel comfortable going back. The food is fine, the staff is fine, but the potential health risks are glaring.

In Fort Worth for the day and searched for a breakfast restaurant. I highly recommend this place. The service was attentive but not hovering. I like my eggs cooked soft and hardly anybody cooks them correctly for me but my eggs were perfect. The coffee is tasty as was the bacon and sausage. We always feel like if the bathroom is dirty then what does the kitchen look like. The public areas were clean including the bathrooms. Thank you Yolk staff for a great experience for this out-of-towner.

Yolk is this fun, contemporary, down-to-earth diner that absolutely is refreshing, both figuratively and literally. They give you this modern, clean, tech vibe of a brunch joint. But then the food is I would say a couple steps above Wafflehouse and IHOP, while keeping the prices the same. The place feels vibrant with yellow all over. The high ceilings give you this crisp vibe. Absolutely friendly service and food delivery. Everything hits the high notes here. The food does not live up to the expectation though. Dont get me wrong, it is pretty great. But it is definitely the drag in the overall experience. Perhaps my expectations were too high but with everything done in a contemporary way, I really was hoping for a magical breakfast. Eggs were done great. Bacons were pretty good. French toast was a disappointment (especially the bread) but salved by the yogurt sauce and granola. Awesome place for a great breakfast in Forth Worth.

This was my first time experiencing Yolk. I went with my nieces and it was an enjoyable time. The atmosphere very cozy. There is an option for outsoor patio dining, it was a bit warm so opted for indoor dining. Our server was helpful and friendly. We inqired on best recommendations from the menu; and he shared some good options. Drinks - I selected Hot Chocolate, and one niece had the Iced Spiced Apple Chai-der and the other selected Hot Chai Latte. The hot drinks were excellent, we enjoyed them immensely, the flavor was 10 out of 10!! The iced drink was noted as not able to sense the flavors, may have been more enjoyable hot. Food - The selections were good, one note for me was the lack of salt for my omelet. Now thus may be due to my meat selection, turkey sausage. And the eggs were cooked a bit longer then my preference, still ok. French Toast was absolutely , great taste and flavor. And the El Torero Scrambler and The Works Omelet was good. Our side items were seasoned potatoes great with ketchup, alone for our taste needs salt.

Honestly, the food was not worth the wait - we waited for an hour to be seated (unseasoned/lacked flavor). The atmosphere was nice and our server was nice as well. I wouldn t return only because I could make this food better AT HOME. The potatoes were undercooked (so I opted to take it home and finish cooking them - can t waste money in 2024). The chai tea latte was nice (not overly spicy or sweet). Though the food was mid, I wouldn t deter anyone from stopping by.

I took my best friend to Yolk for her birthday breakfast. I had been there before, the food was great and so was the service but this time the service that we received from Isabel was horrible. About 30-45 in we were having a good time enjoying each other s company and Isabel walks up to our table drops the ticket grabs our plates and walks off to toss them. Mind you I still had half a plate of food left. She didn t ask if we were done, if we wanted anything else, nor did she ask if we needed a to-go box. When we address her with the issue she became confrontational and the manager had to get involved. I m not saying this is a bad place to eat, it could just use better service from this particular employee.

Reply to restaurant: Dont try to blame delivery for your weird rubbery eggs and half cooked potatoes. When I sent a picture of the food to people, the response from most of them was something along the lines of those are eggs?! And I didnt say you used boxed pancake mix, I specifically accused you of using boxed confetti cake mix (without the confetti) for your pancakes. It smells exactly the same and I couldnt take more than 1 bite because they were so disgusting. Original: I got food through Uber. The egg scramble tasted good but the texture was rubbery. The potatoes were only half way cooked so they were soft on the outside and dense on the inside. The pancakes were flat and absolutely disgusting. Somehow they taste like Tylenol... Have no idea how that happens. We ordered orange juice and strawberry lemonade, and the lemonade was missing but that could have been a delivery issue. Edit: I figured out why the pancakes taste so off. They were made with store bought cake mix. They smell exactly like the store bought confetti cake powder.

Love their coffee. Found it ironic, though, that the waitstaff at a place named Yolk needed to ask and be educated about eggs over medium, then dismaying when they came out barely over easy, with unset whites.

A bit disappointing! For a place called Yolk , my expectations were that the eggs would be cooked to order. Unfortunately our Over-easy eggs were too raw with too much mucus membrane, and my Over-medium were hard with no runny yolk. No utensils offered to stir your sugar or cream into your coffee, so you will need to use the provided fork or knife. For a place that is located at the heart of Fort Worth, I was expecting the up-charge of the aesthetics, to be compensated in the flavors of the food. There is nothing special about the place (other than the upscale setting) that would intrigue me to return when the surrounding area is covered with many other tasteful options. This is not intended to be a negative review, only that the expectations should easily supersede what you expect from a local IHOP (Nothing against IHOP).

The server surprised me with remembering my drink order with out having to ask when bringing a refill. However upon my food being delivered which was a brisket burger and I fries my burger came with the tomato on the side, a pickle spear on the side and the bun was toasted (not a bad thing) but nothing else but the meat on the burger. I was never asked about mustard, ketchup or mayonnaise. Overall 75/100

It was our first time there and it was a very disappointing experience. The food was bland. The pancakes and biscuits were dry and bland as well. Our server didn t come to check on us after dropping off the food to ask how the food tasted or refills. We did not enjoy the food or service. We definitely will not be returning.

Every part of this restaurant needs a good manager s attention. From the beginning, we waited over an hour only to find out the kid in front got our name wrong and we were told we had to wait another 20 minutes after our original wait time that was told to us. Obviously they couldn t find our information because the boy in front seems to not care enough to take our information properly and verify our information. If we hadn t waited so long, we would have probably chose a different restaurant. The food was average, nothing special. The second worst part was our waitress didn t seem to care if we were served or not (obviously that was my impression) she touched the table 2-3 times in total and waited a long time to get coffee refilled. Overall, not a great experience from beginning to end. We ve had yolk before at another location and was severely let down by this location.

Went this morning, we waited for awhile nobody was at the front. One of the waitresses finally acknowledged us and took us to a booth. I ordered chicken and waffles my friend got the salmon breakfast. My plate was not good at all, the chicken was very hard and chewy. I wondered if it was left over from the day before and heated in the microwave. The salmon was hard to find it had more onion and tomatoes than salmon. I usually go to the one in Dallas. I was excited to take my friend there I wanted have a great meal and we were very disappointed. Definitely do not recommend this location.

Was in Fort Worth for a weekend work trip and this place was an awesome find. It is walking distance from my hotel and a few others and they do breakfast right! Excellent food in just right sized generous portions, good coffee & lattes and great service. This place runs like a well oiled machine and has a very nice atmosphere.

We usually love this place it s one of our favorites even considering parking and wait times. Understandable. Today was just not good food. Sent food back for being cold. Sent toast back cause it was burnt and got burnt toast again and over cooked meat etc. south beach pineapple Greek yogurt, so much wasted pineapple and it wasn t ripe it was bitter and very acidic. Service was great, waitress was impeccable this all falls on the kitchen. We pay the price for the quality and I hope that if we return it never goes this way.

I work downtown and every time I have been to this place for lunch at 11am it takes at least 45 minutes to an hour to get my order delivered to my table. I always think it would be better next time I go, but NOPE. Always have to wait at least an hour for my order. Good food but not worth an hour wait. Went today after not coming for over a year and nothing has changed.

The food at Yolk was absolutely delicious! The staff were warm and friendly. I did not know what to expect, but was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and service. The decor is trendy and the price very reasonable. Parking: Paid street parking is free after 6pm. Wheelchair accessibility: The limited paid street parking near the restaurant makes it extremely difficult for wheelchair-bound individuals.

I dont know if theyre trying to save money on air conditioning or what, but if so, maybe they shouldnt when the temperature is on its way to 110 degrees. Were all sitting here sweating wishing theyd at least brought in some fans or had thought to install a window covering on the west-facing windows (which we were fortunate enough to be seated right next to). Its not a great situation for people who are sensitive to heat (such as those with blood pressure issues - if this describes you, and you dont want to pass out, maybe wait until fall to come here). Also the waitlist was a bit of a problem. We knew there would be a significant wait, so we used the online waitlist. First, we could only make a reservation for 6 people even though they can accommodate larger groups. When we showed up with 7 (one is a baby), we were told we should have made a reservation for 7 so we kind of seemed like jerks until my husband explained. I guess they had no idea it wasnt possible. However, they accommodated us so it ended up okay. The second issue with the waitlist system is that it doesnt notify you when your table is ready (so you know when to report to the hosts stand), but it may, after the hour-and-a-half wait, kick you off the list. Fortunately, we were able to call them and straighten that out as well.
