I checked out the new location and it was amazing! I was by myself and sat at the bar. Cody, the bartender was so nice and attentive. I was craving a burger and I ordered Mikes burger. It was big, beefy and had a great smokey taste! Cody asked what my name was and called me by name the whole time I was there! Yay Cody!

I have had lunch here half a dozen times this summer. I appreciate that the Stonleigh P has quite a few healthy items on the menu like spinach salad with a tasty, bright Creole cesar dressing and I love the cold gazpacho. By eating healthy, I can then drink my calories, right?

We love the original location but this one has almost the exact same vibe! It s a great spot for happy hour and a bite to eat. The food was slightly overcooked but everything else great. Great service, great drinks, and the happy hour is solid. I got the chicken sandwich, buffalo style. Also, being dog friendly is a big plus!

The new location is a welcome addition to the neighborhood. The beloved original will never be matched but the team did a brilliant job of recreating the interior feel with all the touchstones of yesterday: magazine rack, phone booth, pool table and even the horseshoe bar. It s not a divided U-shaped bar any more but still a great comfortable place to get a drink solo or with friends. The food menu is exactly the same and as good as ever. And the orders now come out of a clean modern restaurant kitchen. I bet the cooks love it. The AC is vastly superior to the old building that got swampy on hot days. Welcome back, Stoneleigh P!

place was terrible. server was terrible. didnt ask if we wanted another round. didnt ask if we wanted water. has 2 sandwiches to choose from. like 3 burgers. fries cost 3.50 extra. their specialties are a hot dog and enchiladas (not kidding.) Nachos cost about 16.00 for about 9 single chips with cold meat and low quality cheese. i dont get the positive reviews. and i certainly dont understand how theyve stayed around as long as they have. id seriously rather eat at applebees in an airport. also- drinks have no prices listed. lived in dallas for 7 years and this is the lamest spot ive been to.

chalk it up to re-opening in a new location but this was not the same Stonleigh P I remember from back in the day. Service was slow and seemed harried (maybe they were short handed) and the breakfast tacos I had were two cigar sized tacos with a tiny thimble full of black beans (see photo) and some fruit which was good. Not really worth $13 Im hoping they will improve in the future because I really want to continue to support them

Where do I even begin? If youre looking for an unassuming place to get a brew and a bite, look absolutely no further than the Stoneleigh P. Seriously, stop looking. Just go to what I shall refer to as The P for the rest of this review for all of your hunger and inebriation needs. If you spend even just a split moment further looking for a different bar to go to after reading this, youre wasting you fuggin time, my friend, and thats on you. Dont be a silly goose and heed my words. GO. TO. THE. P. There are daily specials on both food and drinks, and the menu is constantly evolving with the times. Ive never looked at the menu and not found a mouthwatering choice to make. Speaking of watering your mouth, the very kind and down to earth staff will make sure you get your desired (safe) amount. And speaking of the staff, it is family owned and operated, which is about as good as it gets for most businesses in the service industry. The Garrison family have a huge heart, and it shows in the way they do business and by their devoted following. You will never be let down by the sheer hospitality of the employees at The P. Lastly, I find solace in the fact that The P doesnt take itself too seriously. In the annals of Dallas nightlife, Ive found a common degree of pretentiousness in many establishments that can be off putting. And I get it: its hard to maintain a down to earth image while evolving to stay relevant to the everchanging times, but The P has pulled this off seamlessly for decades. A great example of this would be the recent All I Want for Christmas jukebox fiasco. If you dont know what Im referring to, please Google Mariah Carey Stoneleigh P and enjoy what you will undoubtedly discover. It was magical in so many ways, and so is The P. ***P.S. - Theyve just recently moved locations for the first time since inception, and it was kind of a huge deal. Dont accidentally go to the old address. You can currently find the jukebox that regulates a particular Christmas track at 4218 Lemmon Ave. Tell em Brock sent ya!

This is about as comfortable as you can get. Not necessarily the cracked vinyl seat coverings at the booths or the metal outdoor tables and chairs, but more like an old shoe that just feels so good to put on whenever you wear it that you dont ever want to find a replacement, no matter how shiny or fashionable. At the Stoneleigh P, the understated, unassuming, unaltered, low brow ambiance, along with the basic burgers and bar food just encompasses you in comfort. The french fries are great. The bar has a nice selection of local beers on tap. There is an adjacent parking lot for free, so parking is never an issue. Unfortunately, after 50+ years, the restaurant is being forced to move. We wish them the best, but it will be hard to re-establish what they have achieved over the past 50 years.

This place has been in business for 50 years. My friend has introduced me to it. It is a bistro bar. They are famous for their burgers and the salads are great too. I tried their Stoneleigh P burger and it was delicious. Before they opened the place was a pharmacy . I understood that they could not renew their lease and the restaurant will close its doors next year. It will not get a chance to be 51 . Check it out!

Chill vibes kinda lowkey bar. Been here more than a few times and never had a bad experience - never really had a great one either. Not sure that s the point though. The drinks are fairly priced and the staff is friendly enough i guess. Pool tables and good lighting. Sometimes have a big screen for sports. Not sure why people are saying the food is great - it s not, it s just average bar food, which, ya know, no complaints.

Food was good, indoor atmosphere was good staff was friendly and attentive. Portion size was good for the price. Water, tea, and soft drinks come in oversized cups which is nice. One downfall is that entering through the front patio you must walk past what I presumed were some of the regulars who smoke out there, so if you dont like inhaling the second hand smoke it may be a bit of a turn off but shouldnt be enough to keep you from going. An overall good experience.

I WISH I COULD GIVE THIS PLACE A NEGATIVE 5 STARS! THE GRILLED CHICKEN SANDWICH WAS A DUD. THE BREAST WAS COOKED GOD ONLY KNOWS HOW MANY DAYS AGO. I HAD THE LENTIL SOUP WITCH WAS A SUPPOSED STONELEIGH P SPECIAL AND MADE DAILY, HA. THIS PLACE SHOULD BE A STAND UP COMEDY PLACE CAUSE IT IS A JOKE! ITS NOT THE WAITRESS FAULT THE FOOD WAS BAD BUT EVEN SHE WAS CONDESCENDING AS WELL AS TRIED TO RUSH US OUT OF THE BAR/NOT GRILL. I HAVE IN MY 41 YEARS IN DALLAS HAVE HAD SUCH BAD FOOD EVER!!

Awesome place the staff is wonderful very friendly. Great food really good drinks. NIce chill environment very helpful if you are from out of town and have questions about the area about arts and entertainment. I highly recommend checking out this establishment. An learning the history about it. there parking lot is small so it would be best to Uber or rent a scooter.

While in Dallas, we stopped into the Stoneleigh P for a casual Sunday lunch. I had the chicken tortilla soup which was very good, full of vegetables. It was neat to see this once old Pharmacy, now turned into Pub, hence the P.

Local hang out with great dive bar perks including an 8ft pool table, cheap domestic beers, and daily specials. Chase, Mondo, V, Rebecca, Nathan, Blake, and the other staff members are top notch!

I ve been here three times because it s close to my job and one of the only places open after midnight in the area. Every single time, the staff is extremely rude. The bartender purposely ignores you if you re not a middle aged white man and gives off dirty looks when he does decide to take your order. The waitress smelled terrible and gave my friend and I dirty looks every time she walked by. The only good thing about this bar is the music but the staff will skip your song if they don t like it.

BEST Burger in DFW. Great Home Made Potato Chips, Fantastic Spinach Salad. Old Great Atmosphere. I have been coming here since 1973 OVER 100 XS.
