Started going yrs ago. Mostly older generation, now everyone is welcomed. Im retired navy, lately getting lots of navel vets. Most veteran seals I encountered since leaving military Parking: Front side and back parking Kid-friendliness: Kids allowed with parents. Have dinners and lunches once a month usually for very reasonable price for all. Everyone welcomed Wheelchair accessibility: Lots of mobility inpared vets always someone ready to help. Have kareoke on Saturday lots of older generation attend starting to get younger ppl to attend now, due to younger vets joining

This is the second time we have been there. Were visiting family members in Texas. They sure make you feel welcome, not at all like a stranger. Totally enjoyed ourselves.

One of the few bars you can smoke indoors. Cozy and clean. A hangout for an older crowd but they are friendly and amusing. Steak dinner Wednesday; Karaoke Friday and Saturday.

Very fun place! We came from outta town to watch my Mom sing and to take a load off and that is exactly what happened. Recommended for sure.

Newark has a vow well they get three stars just for the thought. But for real there is no such place they have to be speaking of the vfw in Avondale if thats the case great nice cozy bar but lay off the karaoke every now and then, its just the same ppl with the same cracked creaky voice singing the same boring old songs. Since Lola left there has been no reason to go she was an amazing bartender vfw sure did lose out on a great one
