Really rude young immigrant lady behind the bar, not welcoming at all to tourists, sat on her phone had no interest in serving customers, spend your money elsewhere where they want it.

Slam packed. Don t lean on the bar even if there is no where else to stand or sit or dance or walk.. food truck looked good. Hated to pay the cover for one beer and no where to just hang out. I ll likely go back if I m ever in the area.

Really enjoyed this place I m from over seas in the UK and had a very nice warm welcome from the bartender and other regular patrons there I wasn t planing staying till closing time but with how great the people was I had to stick around till the end will always come back to this fantastic saloon every time I m in town

We ducked in here for one last day drink before calling our Uber, and ended up having the best conversation with the bartender who introduced us to the yummiest Tequila Rose and Dr Pepper combo. Thanks for a great end to our awesome day in The Stockyards.

My buddy introduced to Stockyard Saloon this year. The age range of the patrons makes this a superb party place because the crowd is not too old nor too young. The only drawback is that the dance floor is too small, but it doesnt seem to prevent everyone from having an amazing time. I will definitely be back.

The lady checking our ID was very rude and assumed our age even though we were being respectful. She threatened to kick us out for no reason while we were showing ID. She assumed our age while we WERE ALREADY INSIDE!

Plenty of room. Nice pool tables. Beer is way over priced. Paid $24 for a bucket of beer. Every where else I go its $13-$15 for a bucket of beer

Went in a few times over the weekend. Did a little day drinking in the afternoon and shot the bull with the staff. Super knowledgeable about the area and will tell you other places to try out. Went back in after the PBR event and the place was much busier but Barbara, Karen and the rest of the staff were really on their game. Short wits even when crowded and drinks are very reasonably priced and service is excellent. Also the soundtrack for the night was eclectic with lots of good country music to dance to.

Came in on a late afternoon in October for a nice cold beer. Wife asked if they had an IPA. The bartender stared at her for a slight moment but before he could tell her they didnt I ordered her a Lone Star. It was ice cold and very tasty. We had a good laugh about it, ordered another Lone Star and admired the rodeo paraphernalia for what seemed like 10 minutes but was probably an hour. This place is great and Id give it five stars but it isnt fair to judge a bar when theres nobody else in it. Will amend my review when we visit again, which we will.

Great bar ! We really enjoyed talking with the bartenders. Very relaxed environment. We ordered a pizza to be delivered, while we enjoyed the cold beer. If you find yourself partying in the Stockyards, I highly recommend stopping into the saloon for cold beer !

My husband and I went in ready to drink and hang out sans kids. We went to two different bartenders and made eye contact with three different employees. We were never even able to ask a question or order a drink. They werent even very busy. We ended up spending our time and money elsewhere. It was very disappointing because we were looking forward to a relaxing environment.

This place aint what it used to be.. The new bartender with the short bright blond hair is not ready to serve people. She is an airhead. I tried to get served for 20 minutes while she ignored me & my friends. From now on Ill just peek in the door to see if Karen is working the bar. If not Ill go elsewhere.

Owners Andrew and Angie know how to throw a party... If you need a place to bring in the New Year, this is the place to go... They are only charging $10 per person at the door and its going to include a full dinner and Midnight toast according to their Facebook... Not to mention they have the CHEAPEST drink prices in the Stockyards...
