Got there order our food then we waited for 20 minutes. Then they say its just sitting in the warmer while were right there. So disappointing all they had to do was go over and get our order. Workers were moving without any care in world. Food

The flavor was good, and service at the window was good. But, teach them how to slice a brisket. Wasted a half pound of lean because it was too tough. Sliced with the grain. I mean if your going to hire someone to serve in a bbq restaurant, at least train them.

Ordered online & got confirmation of pickup time. It was 22 minutes from when we ordered. We arrived a couple of minutes early and there was a handful of people in line. My husband was inside for about 10 minutes & finally came out & told me he was told there was nothing under my name. I went inside with the email confirmation to show and the lady just asked my name and what I ordered, well low & behold they magically found the order like nothing ever was wrong. I finally got my order 15 minutes past promised time. So ordering ahead and giving them 37 minutes wasn t enough I guess. I went out & my husband asked me if I gave them the order # and I said Nope just told them my name. He look dumbfounded and said I told her your name 4 times! Anyways, we should have accepted the divine intervention that almost happened because the food was horrible, I got brisket & pork ribs and it was all dry and old tasting. My husband got chicken breast and sausage. The sausage was OK but that chicken breast was a joke. Little chicken slices. When you order chicken breast, you expect the chicken breast like in the picture. We didn t eat the beans, they were way too sweet but the potato salad was alright. Anyways, we will never be back to this sad excuse for a fast food BBQ joint.

Employees were just this side of rude, couldnt smile if lives depended on it and acted like they wanted you to leave asap. The pork was dry and chewy like it had been sitting around all day. Kielbasa ok. Brisket mostly fat. Green beans had too much pepper to be edible. Coleslaw and potato casserole were pretty good. Bbq sauce was good. Portion sizes way too small for what you pay. Oh and you only get 1 rib if thats what you order for $18. Was hoping for better all around.

Dickeys Garbage-Q Pit -Brisket: Dry, No Smoke Ring. No Flavor. Sad -Pulled Pork: SAME, However, Tast like baked in oven with Salt&Pepper shook on after pulled. Sad -Chicken Breast: SAME, However, DRY, some nonsense based sauce on it. A GIN Sad Backed Beans: BUSH BEANS enough said, Sad -Green Beans: From A Can, SALT, and a lot of PEPPER. Sad -Potatoe Salad: Mustard/Potatoes nothing else in it. Sad Pecan Pie: What Else But, STORE BOUGHT. Sad I PAID $28.87 for this, It is what they say, You get what you pay for. However, I shouldnt have gotten this Cr@P for food. I ate better in the navy. Floor dirty. Bathroom smiling like urine. No soap. IM TELLING YOU. DO NOT GO THERE FOR BB-Q!!! HEALTH DEPARTMENT should SHUT them DOWN.

The bq was ok, for the price you pay you get very little. Floor dirty especially under the drink area. Mens bathroom smelled bad. Plus the workers had no covers over their beards and long hair.. plus not using gloves. Wheelchair accessibility: Entrance and seating.

AS ALWAYS, THESE REVIEWS ARE BASED ON MY OWN OPINION AND WOULD ENCOURAGE YOU TO TRY FOR YOURSELF TO FORM YOUR OWN REVIEW Visited Dickey s Barbecue Pit located on 11824 FM 2305 in Belton Tx, on Tuesday and I wasn t pleased on the portions and budget on this one. Let s start with the drive thru process. This is located in the back of the building. Memorize your order to include the item you want and the sides you want to order as the speaker does not work and you have to drive to the window to submit your order. The speaker has not been working for years. This is ok, but if you have never been here before, you may not remember everything that is offered. I would suggest having the menu brought up online or call ahead. PORTIONS: I have included a picture of the 3 meat plate. I ordered mine with double sausage and chopped beef brisket. This comes with Texas toast and add on was pickles and onion. As you can see, the double sausage looks like one and a half of a sausage cut up. The brisket was sliced and not chopped as requested. I was told that these portions are weighed in ounces. My sides were potato salad and macaroni with cheese. Not pictured is my husband s order which was 10 piece spicy smoked chicken wing, fries, and a large drink. This was ordered a la carte as no combo is offered. The fries were soggy and the portion was not worth the cost paid. TASTE: Sausage was original and not jalapeño. Sausage had a good taste but I would say Slovacek s sausage is better and you can get that at the grocery store. Sausage did not have a pit taste and was smaller than some sausage portions offered by other BBQ restaurants. Brisket was tender but dry with a nice bark and slightly salty. It really should be used for chopped beef instead based on the dryness. It really needed the bbq sauce. Makes me wonder If this was yesterday s meat.. . The slices were on the smaller end of the brisket which is disappointing. For the price, I would expect a cut from the middle of the brisket as I thought this was traditionally the start of the cut from a brisket. My sides were decent size but potato salad tastes like store bought and macaroni the same. They were tasty and I would consider ordering these again. I did taste one of the wings and I would recommend these which comes with different flavored options to have them tossed in. We orders the spicy BBQ sauce and I rate that on the flame scale as a 3 . Fries are advertised as fresh cut.. they were very soggy and limp with zero seasoning. The portion for the price is not worth it. It was the same container that you see my entree in but halfway full. PRICE: I have included the meal ticket with prices. Not really fitting the portions.. $6.50 for a large fry the big yellow cup was the highlight of this meal. Ordered 2 plates of brisket, coleslaw, beans, coke and a brownie and the coleslaw was spoiled. I was so sad that s what I was craving. Out of all the meal the packed brownie was the most decent of all. Even the coke was flat . It was So expensive and distasteful I tried to mask the food with sauce but it was terrible.

Dickeys in Belton is by far the best around the staff is extra friendly and very professional. Misty, Desiree, and Noah really made my visit worth it. I drove over 25 mins for this meal and would do it again in a heartbeat. These guys worked great together working the drive thru and counter sales without a hiccup. 10 star service
