Whoda thunk it!? On a rinky-dink anonymous exit way the hell west of Ft. Worth, we found a restaurant inside this gas station that serves up some of the juiciest burgers with crisp lettuce and red ripe tomatoes on a perfectly toasted bun.

Just tried it for the first time and my Navajo burger had bacon on it (Half of the onions werent grilled either) I ordered to go and didnt realize until I got home and didnt want to drive back up there. I didnt eat the burger because of the pork, but the sweet potato fries were good.

I tried this place for the 1st time looking for a really good burger. The reviews and online photos sold me and I went. The fries were great. Poppers good. But the burger was less than expected. The burger was cooked on fry grill vs a charcoal outdoor type grill as the charred photos imply. It was similar to any fast food type burger. Disappointed.

Stopped here and got the cheeseburger basket, the price was okay and the fries were pretty good but the burger left much to be desired. Crumbly patty, double mustard on both sides, Jeez!! I generally dislike leaving bad reviews but this place deserves it. I now realize that most of the previous glowing reviews must have been under a different owner.

Hole in the wall gas station and burger joint. The burgers used to be very highly recommended some years ago but not sure they are now? I cringe at how long I might have waited ta burger at 5pm as it seemed like there was only one guy there running around waiting on everyone. Pumps are new(er), it is a nice in and out for gas even during 5pm rush hour. They do take Kroger fuel points which is a bonus. Good selection of drinks. Inside is in bad need of an upgrade.

This place has great food! I m not really one for eating out of a gas station but and it s a very big butt. Their food is wonderful. We wanted to eat there so we sat on stools outside and a wooden plank, but the food was fantastic. The hamburgers were juicy and onion rings were big and oh my gosh it s definitely worth the drive out there, I would eat there again and again! Parking: The parking is shared with the gas station, so there s not a lot of parking, but it s not really that busy.

The inside is disgusting. Filthy. Sorry but I dont want to eat under old fly tape full of dead flies and hanging onto the wall by hair and grime. The burger patties are too thick, theyre not enjoyable to eat. The slim burgers were probably half a pound, which isnt normally bad but my sons burger tasted nasty, did not taste right. The patio has loose boards everywhere, trip hazards, loose screws. I dont think that entire building has EVER been wiped with a rag. The lonely, abandoned Jordan sitting on the railing next to the tables added to the ambiance. Fries were good. We wont be back.

So disappointing,.. because Ive had good burgers, mushroom burgers there before, so I was craving a good mushroom burger ,.. but I waited a long time as I did see a Asian man waiting for his food ,then another Asian man steps up to join him and after a few minutes they both walked out with food,so I got tired of waiting only to find out that they had given my food away and I asked so they made me my order all wrong I got home and wayso disappointing because it tasted really bad rushed and raw and ingredients I had asked not to add!!??. So I took it back and asked for my money back or change my order!!! I got home again and its horrible tasting so what kinda meat are they using Now because its not the regular ground beef!??...I just cant continue to get food there ever again

How the health dept has not closed this place down is beyond me . The soda machine has no ice in half the time . The clerk ( lady with tattoos) is rude and lazy . Fries are outstanding. Burgers were a little dry. You may want to ask to go light on the mustard. This is a old gas station/convince store with kitchen. The kitchen area was fresh and clean. The rest of the store is in need of attention. I get the idea that John (cook) is leasing the kitchen. I assume this because his area is so much different than the rest. He tries hard and cares what you think. So if you can, drop in, give it a try and let him know.

Definitely a take it to go kind of place. Excellent, and I mean excellent french fries. The beef patty was substantial. Unfortunately, it was a heavy hand with the mustard and the requested mayo was forgotten. If not for those two things it would have absolutely been an old fashioned hamburger with nothing fast food about it.

I found this place a couple years ago after kayaking. It is in an old gas station but dont let that stop you from going in and ordering a burger! It is now a tradition to get burgers after kayaking in the area. Everyone I take there is always surprised and raves about the burgers! Its a gas station... that serves one of The Best Burgers Ive had in years. Under $7.00!!! Couldnt eat all of it. Two meals for me. Definitely eating here again. Staff is awesome, friendly and on point. Indoor and outdoor seating available. The interaction between staff and regulars is quite entertaining if you like to watch people interact. My wife and I tried this place yesterday. Being in the business I noticed a few things that for myself were curious. First I will say both guys working were polite and helpful the place was busy, non stop people. The food took a little while, the gentleman working in the kitchen wasnt wearing gloves while preparing the food . The burger was good I feel like it could of been better ghost pepper cheese nice touch, for me tomatoes were a little thick and lettuce for me a bit much. This place is in a gas station. I feel like this place could be its own burger place. We may go back. Its off the path and a few minutes from the house. Maybe fix the soda fountain. If you like fresh patties and a nice variety of toppings gi e them a try.
