Food is incredibly good. We had all appetizers and shared. Brisket potstickers, deviled eggs, and the chips and dip. Wow on all but those homemade chips were exceptional, even the leftover ones later. Service is amazing as well. Whole place was totally worth the valet parking (super hard to find free parking). Parking: Parking is hard to find as very limited spaces on the street. Parking garages were not open. Not to say that others couldnt find parking but it is difficult

I recently dined at Little Red Wasp, and let me tell you, the food is nothing short of amazing! Every dish we tried was a hit, but I have to highlight a few must-tries. The whipped ricotta is a creamy delight that pairs perfectly with the accompanying bread. The deviled eggs were perfectly seasoned and so tasty that they disappeared quickly. The brisket potstickers were a game-changer flavorful and perfectly crispy! And you absolutely cant miss the chip and dip with their house-made ranch; its addictive! On top of the delicious food, the atmosphere is super cute and inviting along with the pleasant staff, making it a great spot for a casual dinner or a special occasion. I highly recommend Little Red Wasp to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience! I cant wait to go back and try more dishes!

Probably close to a 4.5 here. Tried this place out on a Sunday for lunch. Was able to get seated right away. I got the migas which was nothing special. Though the pico de gallo served on top was great. I asked for extra to add on top. My son had a fried chicken sandwich which was pretty good. And my wife her portobello mushroom sandwich. Really friendly and accommodating waitress that answered all of our questions.

The atmosphere and service was amazing, but the food was VERRYYY MID. Being between Capitol grill and Del frescos, I d expect this to be high quality, but it tasted very microwaved and premade. Not terrible, just not worth the price in my opinion and the same food could be served at Olive Garden. Honestly Olive Garden is probably better, just because you know what you re getting. Haven t tried a lot on this places menu though, so maybe it was just an off night

Average quality food, tiny portions, huge prices. We had deviled egg appetizer ($10 for 2 whole eggs), corned beef hash, the reuben sandwich, a hamburger, and the LRW salad with blackened chicken. The salad was the size of a side salad, had maybe 4 ounces of chicken, and cost $18 freaking dollars. The chicken was not blackened either. Just seasoned and grilled. The reuben and hamburger were adequate. Their house made chips are just OK and you literally get a small snack bag amount, about a dozen chips. The corned beef hash was a mess. The corned beef was in thin, long slices instead of chopped as it should be in a hash. It had about 4 ounces of meat and a ton of potatoes. They also cooked in a large section of the fat layer so the hash was swimming in grease. Now, about their corned beef. Corned beef is basically brisket fermented in a salt brine. The brisket this places calls corned beef is definitely not. It tasted just like plain oven roasted brisket. Our meal for 4 cost $100 and 2 of us left hungry. If you want grossly overpriced, mediocre food in small portions, this is the place for you.

Halibut + chips: description is local beer batter, house tartar sauce, fries. You get the plate and it s 50% slaw with some fried long John s silvers fish sticks. The brisket potstickers were good, but dinner was a total bust. $31 dish for a lot of slaw and not a lot of everything else. Bartender was cool, little slow but the whole place is obviously understaffed. Go spend your money elsewhere. Also ordered the doughnut holes. They were burnt and not good.

The service here was excellent but the food was only ok and the atmosphere due to the smell was terrible. The road was being torn up and I suppose due to this and where the restaurant is located on the sewage line, the place smelled really bad and took away my appetite. I actually feel bad taking stars away from this but by the description from the staff seems this maybe a reg issue and there are no room fresheners anywhere. The chicken tenders I got for my son went uneaten because of how horribly chewy they were. I ended up having to re-feed him at home. (I tested them to be sure it wasn t him) My sandwich was fine but between all the plates we got (apps and main dishes for 3 adults) it was hit or miss.

Cant say much about the vibe of this place since we ordered for takeout. We found this place through google maps and it was literally right by our hotel, so my husband went and picked it up. We ordered a few things: - Deviled Eggs: good, they did not skimp out on the filling. - Donut Holes: a nice little sweet treat after our meal. -Reuben: my husband said it was good. -Salmon & Lox Bagel: this was good too, but Ive had better elsewhere. Overall, the food was good, well keep this restaurant in mind next time were in town.

Took FOREVER for anybody to bring our drinks and when they finally did, the drinks were gross and they brought them out after being other people s drinks (that had their orders taken well after us). When we tried asking an employee about it he said the bar was backed up . I tried telling him that didn t make any sense but he interrupted me and repeated himself then walked away. When the food came, our burger was ice cold, the mac & cheese tasted like it was processed and served out of a box from the bottom shelf of a grocery store and the chicken sandwich was meh at best. Our server was friendly however and the guy responsible for topping off people s water was GREAT at that.

The cheese was sticking to my fork more than the noodles. It was like they melted shredded cheese and just hoped it would mix together.

A week ago, two of my coworkers and myself went for lunch. Our waiter absolutely NEVER spoke a word. He just handed us a menu and looked at us to give our orders. When one friend asked about a dish and ask what makes this so special he said Nothing. I ordered a Cobb Salad and it came in a bowl so small every time I tried to take a bite, things would fall off of it. I asked our waiter if they could put it on a larger plate. He left, again speechless, and came back and handed me a large plate. Okay. The chicken chunks were ice cold and kind of raw. When the Manager came by I decided to tell him. I was really afraid to eat it because it seemed undercooked. He replied that they Sous Vide the chicken because they can do larger amounts and then they freeze it. Yum. He said they would comp my meal. When our mute waiter came back he handed each of us our check. Before taking mine I told him I was told it would be comped. He held the bill up in front of my face and glared at me. All three of us were just speechless. I work Downtown but will never go back there.

The Pina Colada mocktail is the best that I ve ever had! The food was good, but not worth the price. To get brisket added to the top of the Migas meal, it added an extra $18 to the meal, which we were not aware of. It was a nice experience this time, but not something we could frequent. Also, it reeked of fish and the smell was too much for us.

Ordered the brisket pot stickers as an appetizer. Main course was a cheese burger, medium rare with bacon and a side of fries. My wife ordered the sweet tea which they did not offer. Our entree came out before our appetizer. The burger was supposed to have the house chips as part of the dish. But did not come with it. The burgers were well done not medium rare. The bacon slices were small and barely registered any flavor to the burger. The fries were soft and mushy. The bacon was a $6 dollar up charge for two small slices. As well as a $7 dollar up charge for the fries. We had completed our burgers and still have not received our brisket potstickers. $60 bucks for a plain bacon cheese burger and fries. As well as not ever receiving our appetizer. Or getting our drinks refilled while there is totally unacceptable. This was our first time visiting. And will be our last. Very disappointing for our community to have this lack luster restaurant in our city.

I got the cheeseburger and a Dos Equis; $21 for the two. The patty tasted burnt. The bread was great. Toppings tasted fresh. The chips werent seasoned at all, though they had a nice crisp to them. Watched food sit at the counter for way too long ..why did the front of the house stand there rearranging tickets while the food got cold?? We ordered the crispy chicken sandwich which was hot and crispy, full of flavor, the slaw wasn t drenched in sauce but evenly covered and still crunchy. Also ordered the spaghetti and meatballs which I really liked! So so good BUT, if you like a lot of tomato flavored sauce you may want to rethink because as you d expect the tomato basil soup is mildly flavored which is what I really enjoyed. Cool take on a classic. Gotta shout of the meatballs separate, I LOVE meatballs and am almost always let down with consistency and cooking of them when dining out but these were just right and have to mention they were sprinkled with red chili flakes throughout which gave it some spice which was my favorite thing about them. Well done!

Title: Disappointing Caesar Salad Experience at [Restaurant Name] Rating: 2/5 Review: My recent visit to Little Red Wasp left me thoroughly disappointed, particularly with their Caesar salad offering. Despite the hefty price tag, the addition of protein turned out to be a major letdown. Upon ordering a Caesar salad with added chicken, I was shocked when the dish arrived. Instead of the substantial protein I was expecting, I was met with minuscule, processed-looking chicken cubes that resembled small croutons more than actual chicken pieces. To make matters worse, the portion size was a mere 3 ounces, far from the generous serving one would expect, especially given the price. The chicken itself tasted processed and artificial, lacking any semblance of the fresh, quality ingredients I anticipated. For a salad priced at $23, the lack of value was glaringly apparent. Adding insult to injury, the chicken did little to enhance the overall flavor or satisfaction of the dish. In my opinion, if a restaurant is going to charge such exorbitant prices for a salad with added protein, customers should expect nothing less than a substantial and high-quality portion. Unfortunately, Little Red Wasp fell short of meeting even the most basic expectations in this regard. In conclusion, my experience with the Caesar salad at Little Red Wasp was thoroughly disappointing. For those seeking a satisfying and reasonably priced salad with protein, I would recommend looking elsewhere.

This was a complete surprise to my wife and me. We made reservations for dinner before a show at Bass Hall. Not sure what we expected having looked at the menu online, but it was not this. Little Red Wasp is a very cool little bar/restaurant with a totally energetic and modern vibe about it. Service was excellent, food was very good, drinks were creative, beer list and wine lists quite impressive. What an excellent small little gem of a restaurant this is in the heart of Fort Worth. I would choose it any day over its expensive neighbors Capitol Grill and Ruth s Chris. My wife and I decided on an appetizer dinner getting a lot of sharables instead of each a full meal. Our selections were: Shrimp + Avocado Cocktail, Brisket Potstickers and Whipped Ricotta. The Shrimp + Avocado was like a combination of the high-end mixed greens salad and a shrimp cocktail served with their Wasp Sauce (a lot like a thousand island). Shrimp were large and meaty, avocado was fresh, as were the greens. The sauce was good. Brisket Potstickers were served with a teriyaki like dipping sauce. These were good but not exceptional. The highlight for us of the appetizers was the Whipped Ricotta. First of all the sourdough toast was perfect and the ricotta cheese was perfect, especially the flavorful touch of the local honey. Then to the side was a huge mound of heirloom tomatoes, both large tomatoes sliced and small colorful cherry tomatoes halved, all in olive oil. We simply took pieces of toast, spread the cheese and then topped it with the tomatoes then ate it like pizza. Excellent flavor. For our final item we split the Pulled Pork BBQ Mac + Cheese with Crispy Onions. Again, they did an amazing job with flavor and consistency combinations. We ended with the very decadent cinnamon and sugar donut holes which were so airy they felt more like beignets from the streets of New Orleans. Again excellent. My wife and I will return. I suggest making reservations because by 5:30 on a Saturday it was packed.

Visited Little Red Wasp, and I liked it! It was really cold in there, but that probably has something to do with it being 10 degrees outside; Id suggest sitting opposite the door. I ordered the Cobb salad...had no idea so much blue cheese came on it because its not listed on the menu. I asked what came on it, and that never came up, so I was surprised when I saw my not so favorite cheese piled high on my salad. I was able to scoop out most of it and add cheddar cheese, which was brought as a replacement. The salad portion was large, which is great! Get it with the Red Wine Vinagerette- very good! My lunch buddy ordered the Brussel Sprouts, which were slappin! She loved her tomato soup as well. Ill definitely be back to try some other things off the menu!

We walked as they were opening. There were 10 of us in our group. The restaurant looked clean and very nice. But our waitress, well, she was not. She kept giving us condescending looks as we asked questions about the menu we ordered, and yes, we received what we ordered, but every time she brought me something, she liened over me to pace it on the table glancing my back with her body everytime. She never said excuse me or anything, and I really do not like people in my space. Now the food... I will say it looked really good, but the Philly cheese for $19 was tasteless, my daughter got the shrimp and grits, $24, and enjoyed them, but a friend got the chicken ceaser salad for $19 and it was a small bowl with romaine lettuce and cold chicken and it was not appetizing. I got the spaghetti and meatballs $19, and the meatballs were ok, but the sauce was a pink cheesy sauce. Its not bad, just not great, either. To sum up my visit. The food and atmosphere were ok, the wait staff was terrible, in my opinion. The restroom was clean...

Tried a few different cocktails from the menu and they were all really good but the Persephones Fate was amazing. (I tried to recreate it at home, but it wasnt the same.) See Jasmine at the bar, she was absolutely lovely! Highly recommend!

Little Red Wasp is a nice restaurant with a warm ambiance and impeccable service that is perfect for a night out with friends. On my recent visit, I had the pleasure of having their Spaghetti + Meatballs, Tomato and Basil Soup, and a Manhattan. The Spaghetti + Meatballs at Little Red Wasp was perfect. The pasta had the perfect amount of tomato sauce that was packed full of flavor. What truly stole the show, though, were the meatballs. They were tender and full of savory goodness. They truly were some of the best meatballs I ve had. Each bite was a harmonious blend of herbs and spices. Accompanying the pasta was a bowl of Tomato and Basil Soup that was like a comforting hug on a chilly evening. The soup had a velvety texture and a bright, robust tomato flavor that was beautifully balanced by the fresh basil. The fragrant aroma of basil filled the air as I savored each spoonful. To complement my meal, I ordered a Manhattan cocktail. The balance of sweet vermouth, aromatic bitters, and the rye was a true testament to the mixologists skill. What sets Little Red Wasp apart is not just the delectable food but also the impeccable service and cozy ambiance. The staffs attentiveness and knowledge of the menu were impressive, making me feel welcomed and valued throughout my dining experience. In conclusion, Little Red Wasp is a great restaurant that deserves every bit of acclaim it receives. The Spaghetti + Meatballs and Tomato and Basil Soup are must-tries for anyone seeking a taste of Italian comfort food done to perfection. Top it off with a well-crafted Manhattan cocktail, and you have the recipe for a memorable dining experience. Little Red Wasp is a true gem in the heart of Fort Worth, and I cant wait to return for my return. Parking: Paid parking either on the street or parking garages

Although my other rating criteria are a 4 and a 3, restaurants should be first and foremost judged on their food... makes sense. The food here was not good. Mainly, I didnt like the menu. Too much nonsense added into items that are perfectly fine without some ridiculous foodie alteration. For example, swapping coleslaw for sauerkraut on a Reuben. If you do this, its not a Reuben... its corned beef with coleslaw. (I used this example because I hate coleslaw.) The other thing thats off-putting are the prices. $21 for a Reuben sandwich (thats not even a Reuben sandwich) is beyond absurd. Nothing on the menu is remotely in the realm of reality with their prices. Vegetarian options: Yes Dietary restrictions: Yes Parking: Very difficult to find street parking. Kid-friendliness: Yes Wheelchair accessibility: Yes

Was very disappointed in my meal. Come for lunch on a Friday and order the shrimp and grits. My meal was the last to come to the table and was the worst. It came out warm and not fresh. The grits were tasteless. Added salt and paper and it s was still bland. Same with the shrimp, no flavor what-so-ever. Sausage was small and didn t seem like it was good quality. Ended up sending it back and ordering something else. Everyone else food at the table looked good and they didn t have many complaints. My second order took a very long time to come out; end up having to take it Togo. However, the manager was accommodating despite my dissatisfaction in my meal.

We arrived 15 minutes early for our reservation but we re promptly seated. Staff was very nice and attentive. Noise level was a bit loud, but it seemed that we were sat by quite a few little kids so that really couldn t be helped. I ordered the chicken fried beef tenderloin. It was good but the meat just seemed to float inside of the chicken fried coating. It didn t stick together. That was a bit disappointing for $39. The Yukon mashed potatoes, black pepper gravy, and brussels sprouts that the meal came with were all very good. Quite a few of my brussels sprouts were stolen from the person across the table from me. My son had ordered the crispy chicken sandwich, but was given a Reuben. I guess he was embarrassed and didn t say anything and just ate it so I guess that part is on him. Will I go back? Maybe but not anytime soon.

In Fort Worth for a work trip and stopped by for lunch on our last day and I am so glad that we did. The food menu looks very basic, but don t let that deceive you. All the ingredients were fresh and the basic dishes were elevated to a level beyond what one can do at home. The most remarkable part of our experience was our server Lindsay. Her service was exceptional. She was friendly, welcoming, and knowledgeable. Moreover, her attention to detail was amazing. Having worked in the service industry for years, it was very apparent to me that Lindsay loves her job and shows that love to her guests. Go eat here, request Lindsay. You won t regret it.

This place has amazing food, okay drinks (see full review below for details) and good service. We were there for brunch on a Saturday and we were seated quickly and served our first round of drinks pretty fast, but their drink menu is a little confusing especially regarding the mimosas. Everyone agreed the drinks were a little watered down and overall just okay, which made them overpriced in our opinion. Could have just been a newer bartender or just a bad day. My wife and I split the chicken biscuit and the fried French toast and they were both amazing! I think we both preferred the chicken biscuit a little more. However, I would definitely recommend them both. Service was good overall, yet after our first round and food we barely saw the waiter. Waiter. I was going to order a second round for myself and my wife and never got the chance. This is a very small annoyance because that ultimately saved us money, everyone else was professional and polite and enjoyable. Will definitely consider going back if were in the downtown area for brunch.

We were excited to try LRW. Jasmine was our server and she was great. She was very attentive and friendly. We started with cocktails and were pleased with the variety and complexity. All was good. Once the food arrived, there was surprise & disappointment with the lack of flavor & complexity to the shrimp and grits as well as the carnitas. Both were surprisingly low on the flavor scale. Shrimp and carnitas could have a bolder punch of flavor. We enjoyed the atmosphere & cocktails: however, were simply underwhelmed with the food.

The food was pretty good. The appetizers were a little weird. We had the brisket dumplings (sometimes two different types of food should never meet) and the deviled eggs were just meh. The scallops were lovely. The biggest drawback here is the atmosphere. It very much gives Lubys cafeteria with dim lighting vibes. Prices were decent and the food was very good if not great though. I would be interested in trying this place for brunch instead of dinner - maybe that is more their niche.

Great spot. Brisket pot stickers were great, we got the hot dog quartered as an appetizer, also great - wings edible but nothing special. The corned beef and chicken sandwiches as pictured were excellent, with the chicken surprising me in that its at least as good as the beef. Great as well, overall solid choice. A little pricey, three appetizers, 5 alcoholic drinks, four entress about $225 before tip, BUT the service was excellent and quality of the food itself was five stars.
