Upon arrival I went up to bar to order drinks, bartender looked at me rolled her eyes and walked away. Waited 7 minutes before another bartender approached to take the order. 2 beers and a mixed drink. 15 minutes waiting at the bar while 3 people stood around talking before the drinks were ready! They had a dj and playing music bingo which was cool, BUT a man who claimed he was the owner came yelling at my group cussing to leave the establishment over a review that was posted on social media! This place was not friendly and definitely not worth a 2nd trip!

Came in thinking I was going to grab some food but I was able to get a beer when I first got here. Then 30 mins later not able to get anything sitting at bar. Not one person asked if I needed another beer or if I wanted some food. I wont be back cause the service sucks Then bar tender oh what bar tender. Wow 1 beer is over 5 dollars thats crazy.

Ordered a burger online, paid for it, confirmation told me when my food would be ready for pickup. Drive from Terrell to Forney to pick up, just to be told they cancelled my order bc they are only serving wings today. Ridiculous that I wasnt told they cancelled it and now its clear why the first employee ignored me. Only 2 customers, they knew I was picking up the cancelled order.

Stopped for one drink and suffered through a flavorless margarita (yes, it s possible). The bartender was the best, but she couldn t save the sticky lacquer bar and overheated room. If you are a regular, my apologies. If not, best to go elsewhere.

We went to Luckys, four of us. We were greeted by a server, name unknown, where she acted irritated with us. She was almost rude. She offered us no help with options, as we had questions. I ve never had a waitress treat me like she hates me, it s weird. Our food was odd. I ordered shrimp tacos and the shrimp came out in the tacos, breaded and Marinated in buffalo sauce? It tasted strange. Then the tab was $70 before tip for some weird tacos and an appetizer. High priced, rude servers, never again.

This place used to have the best wings, not sure what happened. They used to have full size wings now they appear to be using drummettes or party size wings. As a regular customer who visits this place frequently, I have no words! Not sure if management is trying to save money by ordering smaller sized chicken wings but rest assure there business will suffer because they are changing what was working for them in order to save a few bucks!

This place was legit laid back and they helped me find it. Im a cdl holder and they let me park right up in there and even took care of my tab. The dj was cool and the food was really good. The bartender GLORIA stood outside in shorts during like 10 degree weather to help me!! A MUST GO TO AND HECK YEAAAAA. GOOD PPL GOOD TIMES

I enjoyed the wings lastnight placed my order online and picked it up and it came came with fries. So I went back today and ordered inside same thing. When I got my order I checked it and it was wrong and didn t have fries so I went back in and asked the same lady who helped me did it not come with fries because I got fries lastnight with it and was told it only come with fries if ordered online. What since does that make when you paying the same price for the same thing. I then told her my wings was also wrong and I could see she had an attitude so I asked did she have an attitude and she said yes I was like oh ok let me get the manager and she said I am the manager. The poor customer service displayed from a manager was indeed unacceptable for me. From anyone at that point but when I got an attitude with her because of how she was acting she told me get out her store! for her bad customer service to me? I definitely got my money back and will never ever go there again. Was very appalled

We came here because of reviews but I can honestly tell you the reviews are not true far as food wise. My husband had blossom onions that were not all the way cooked. I had chicken fried steak box mac and cheese and cold mashed potatoes. Chicken fried steak batter was extremely salty. The atmosphere, music and waitress was good. The bartender umm not too good in my opinion. It may not be the same experience for everyone, this is just my personal opinion. My husband did eventually try the chicken sandwich. He said finally something good. The manager was good about everything and comp our meal. We will be back tho for the atmosphere setting. Dj was awesome.

I was really disappointed in the service I couldnt get a refill on beer but everyone on both sides of me were getting great service! Then had to wait 25 min just to pay for my ticket.I would definitely give it another chance but I will definitely be on edge if my service is the same!!!!

I ordered the bookie chicken sandwich. It comes grilled or crispy on a brioche bun. I dont recall specifying if I wanted it grilled or crispy so my dasher delivered a grill chicken sandwich which is fine with me. I requested lettuce, tomatoes, and pickles . I declined having any onions I chose American cheese. I added condiments of ketchup and mustard once I received it. I am glad I wrapped the chicken sandwich in napkins as it became a bit messy after my first bite

This is a really cool local bar with really good food. They have about 25 TVs with it being a sports bar. Ive been several times now and have tried their burgers which are top notch. Ive had the fish and chips which were okay, but not as good as the burger. Their chicken fried chicken is really good. Their chicken parm sandwich is amazing. You need to stop in and try them.

Great Sports Bar in Forney Texas. Plenty of TVs to watch. Atmosphere was great, not too loud for a Friday Happy Hour. Service was very quick and friendly. Started this visit with fried mushrooms for appetizer, which were good. Ordered wings for entree, and they were fantastic! (See pics) The buffalo were my favorite, but the Cajun and Lemon Pepper were great as well. Pricing was affordable. Definitely recommend this place, not a small place, but not too big either. 5 will be back!

As a #foodieblogger, I give credit to establishments that place their customers first. After two visits, I have to continue to give this place 5 stars. The food is DELICIOUS---. never old or not tasty. The drinks are always made just right. Every person Ive encountered is extremely nice. Me and my family came in and it was moderately busy. It took close to an hour an a half to get our food, and it just wasn t great. The portions were undersized for the price and the flavor wasn t great. The Mac and cheese was just Kraft, and they weirdly put American cheese on a chicken parm sandwich. The fries were decent, gravy was too watery, and the chicken and mashed potatoes were borderline gross. Otherwise, service was pretty good though.

Luckys opened in February 2023. So, its still clean and nothing is broken or needs replacing. The owners are nice and offer many bottled beer, but need more than 5 beers on draft. They do have an AMI jukebox, but your songs will get played randomly. They have live bands on Saturdays, and DJs and Tuesdays. Their food selection is good and comes out in a decent time. They have plenty of large screen tvs and show PPV fights. I recommend this place.

Surprisingly good food for a sports bar or even a dedicated restaurant. Ive been here several times in the past few months. Ive tried the burgers, chicken fried chicken, fish and chips and the chicken parmesan sandwich. The Parm Bookie (chicken parmesan sandwich) is probably my favorite. The only thing that I wasnt impressed with was the fish and chips. Other than the food its a great sports bar with about 30 TVs and a full bar and friendly staff. Lunch never seems to be busy during the week. All in all, Luckys is another great addition to the awesome Forney food scene.

Saturday 5/6 I will say that we picked a wrong night to go because there was a birthday party of like 50 people, so we never got our cheese sticks or our fried mushrooms. The chicken parm would be better with provolone or mozzarella cheese. Recommend adding that. I also recommend that your servers write the order on a pad so they get it right. Don t get me wrong the food was absolutely amazing and filling. Will definitely recommend to others.

First bar I went to after having my baby. Had a blast!! The food is great too! The bartender we had was super cool and made our experience that much more enjoyable. I m pretty sure he said he goes by Ginger . I absolutely love how relaxed the environment is. The owner works there and makes sure everything goes great. He didn t just hire a crew and let them handle it. He is very involved in his business which is extremely respectable. I can t wait to go back!! 10/10 recommend going here!
