I ordered the Jalapeño Bacon burger & Tater tots - absolutely perfect with my beer. I also had the KitKat Cheesecake - perfect ending to a meal! The people I happened to sit next to at the bar were a great addition to a pleasant night. Other then the main bartender who seemed quite busy (only 1 for the business this night) other staff did not fill in if customers needed something simple.

I would give this place 2 stars. The atmosphere was nice and our waitress was doing a good job, the food and drinks were the main problem. The burger buns had some sort of seeds in it and half the food was cold. The wings were pretty good. The nachos were okay. The drink my mom had had a bug in it. I think the place was busy at the time, our waitress was really nice and did her best. We noticed the bug at the end right before paying. We left the leftovers we were going to take home, bc we all got sick. We also had trouble getting refunded back some of our money due to nature of the food. Hopefully this was just a bad night bc the place seems like a good vibe.

Walked in at 3:04 started getting my pools sticks put together and wracked and played a game wracked another game and played it. 3 different sets of customers come in and were waited on. walked right past us and asked the table next to us if they needed refills and walked by again and still didn t get served or even acknowledged. So left at 3:34. Totally uncalled for. It s not like they didn t see us. Worst service I have ever experienced here and I come here quite a bit. Absolutely zero excuse for it. The situation I saw I can t repeat here.

Made the trip to Bearded Monkey for a pool tournament one weekend. It was a good distance for me to go but it was totally worth it and I would do it again. Food was delicious, not the typical bar fare. Service was great. Brandi was my server and she was quite charming, always smiling and very accommodating. It was a fun and happening atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed myself along with all the other patrons that were there. It was a blast and plan to go there whenever I can. Thank you Bearded Monkey.

This place is really nice and the food is good here. They play a variety of different genre of music here. I came here Friday evening and when I was about to leave there was a band setting up. I ordered their meat pizza which the waiter recommended one of his favorites. The choice was good. It wasn t the best but it was really good. I would give the pizza an 8 out of 10.

Stayed at the Best Western a bunch for work trips but just checked this place out before heading back to Houston. The pic was a perfect accident turned perfect example of the environment. Good food. Nice views. Cold Brews. The Western Burger is on fleek? Do the kids still say that? It was really good is my point. You can guess who Nicole is. She said there was another guy that didn t work but he got me a beer so I guess he did his job? Kidding. Good people on staff.

The food was horrible service started out great as we were greeted first thing when we came in the door we were told that we could sit anywhere we would like we grabbed a table by the pool tables so we could play while we waited. Waitress was very impatient as far as getting our order and then even told us at 6:20 that they had league night that night at 7:00 and if they came in and needed the tables wed have to leave but by that point the only reason we were still there is we were waiting for her to bring her check which we had already asked for but I feel it was very rude for hard to even come up and tell us that when first of all we still had 40 minutes and second she didnt say anything to any of the other people that were there just us so we wont be returning nor do I think I will try the other location

Went here as a group of 6 to watch March Madness games and eat and have some drinks. Everyones food was great- we had burgers, pizza and one girl had a salad. The loaded tots were really good. Server was friendly. Cute little patio with bench seating and some games you can play.

Standard bar food. Burgers and snacks. Waitstaff is always pleasant and generally prompt. They dont seem to know much about what sports/games are being televised......and yet it is a sportsbar.....can usually solve that issue. Not fancy but clean....crowd is usually a bunch of regulars who are 40+ and laid back.

0-2 scoreboard so far. I will preface with the fact I worked as both a server and bartender for over 10 years... First experience (not busy): Sitting at the bar, server on the floor grabs my drink order and brings me a menu. Good so far. She then goes off to clean tables. Girl behind bar asks what I want and I say the other girl took my order already (because she did). I guess other girl thought bartender got my actual order because she saw us talking, but neither did so it was a hot minute before I got anything. However the drink was comped, and the food was very tasty. (Not terrible experience, but not great.) Second experience (not busy): Bar full so I grab a table. Takes about 5 minutes to get recognized and order a drink and a menu. Waitress comes back with my drinks and says shell be back to grab my food order. *Twenty* minutes later she asks if Im ready to order so I just ask for my check. She brings my check and says Sorry, Im tabbing people out so I can leave. Its a good thing I wasnt on a work lunch break with limited time...

DO NOT GO HERE!! The servers steal your money! They over charged me for a drink without telling me as well as ADDED THEIR OWN TIP! They tipped themselves $100 on my card! Now my bank can t do anything about it! They commit fraud and theft here! Easily the worst bar in Rockwall. First off the service is outstanding. However the bar operates like a college bar on nickel night. The bartenders can t make ANYTHING beyond draft beer and vodka RedBull. No vermouth for martinis and the put grenadine in an old fashion, it s laughable how awful the bartenders are at making drinks. The sports bar excuse is lame. You re in the richest county in Texas you should know how to pour drinks. .

Was there Friday night to hear the Lonnie Smith Band. The show was. Great, waitress was great. But when it came near to closing time, we had a table right next to the outside overhead doors. Some employee (black male in his 20s) slammed the overhead doors shut right against our backs without any kind of a warning. Why couldn t he at least take 2 seconds to give us a heads up that he was shutting the doors? Then when it was midnight, which apparently is closing time, another person comes around and is yelling at us to get out because The bar is closed . WTH? How about a little heads up and a little time to finish up our drinks? Check your employees Bearded Monkey, they will cost you repeat customers. I won t be back.

Cori, Brandi and Nicole are amazing. They are attentive, check on you often enough without disrupting your conversation but making sure you have all that you need. I have never met the management at the Forney location, but the food is great, especially the burgers and fried mushrooms. The relevant games are always on and there is always a pool table open to play as well. Will be back MANY times this football season!

Recently bought a home up the street and was looking for a good hangout spot. Well, I found it. Heather and Amanda on the bar is incredible. Fast and friendly service. Drinks are ALWAYS on point. They are always cheerful and greet you with a smile. Never have to wait for a refill. Theyre always watching to make sure your cup is full and you are happy. The food is not your usual bar food. Its delicious. I recommend the tenders with the boom boom sauce. Yum! They have live music events which is even better! Tons of pool tables. Great atmosphere. The owner is professional but acts just like a normal friend. Love this place!

The first time we went was on a recommendation for a good burger and weve been 3 times now (4 if you count the night we couldnt get a table because it was packed for a big money pool tournament). Moving into my next point, it is a sports bar and grill with live music on Friday nights, I learned last night. It was pretty busy and we lucked out finding a table as some people were leaving. The burgers are always good though! The menu is pretty simple but everything looks really good! Some guys at the table next to us were drinking beers and had a pizza come out that looked and smelled really good! I kinda want to try that next time. I always forget to take pictures of my food but Ill try to remember next time.
