Anamias chips and salsa are a strong offering in the Tex mex market. Salsa has just enough of a spicy edge today delight. Dont consume before the water is served. Chips are ground corn and such a substantial chip to stand out from the crowd. The star of my takeout meal was tacos al carbon (beef). The flavor was excellent and the portion was enough for a meal and a half when including the bean soup, guacamole, and rice. Service is always attentive and friendly.

One of our favorite places in town! Great food, great drinks. Service is always quick and friendly. We have eaten in and to go and both are great. My husband loves the fajitas picantes and I get the tacos al carbon. The jalapeño marg is a must every time. They are comparable to mi cocina but better! Much lighter atmosphere. 10/10 Kid-friendliness: They have high chairs and are very accommodating.

They sadly use canola oil and vegtable oil. Which is just different names for engine fluid. Humans shouldnt eat canola oil. Esp cooking food in it. Tallow, butter, ghee, or coconut oil is good. They arent cooking in those. They prefer engine lubricant. Canola oil google how its made. Canola is canada oil.

Got catering for a party. Food was ready for pickup on time. People were great. Very friendly and helpful. Food we got was for 10, and wow it was a lot! Noone will go hungry. The food was also very good. Everyone commitmented that it was. Will definitely use them again.

8/22/2024 Update: There must be new management over the last year or so because the quality of service and the experience is great now! 5/5, I would recommend this to friends and family! Old Review: My wife and I order take out from this restaurant every few weeks and often we have to wait 15-30 minutes past our given pickup time, but tonight I waited over an hour and 40 minutes waiting for my order and spoke with at least 3 different people on multiple occasions in the end to still not have my order ready. I finally just requested a refund and only later did I notice that I didnt get the tip amount back. Besides almost 2 hours of my day being wasted, I didnt even get a full refund and continued to get the run around. The food at this restaurant is decent but its not worth these kinds of problems and we will not be returning customers.

The tacos were cold and meat was chewy. The taco has single tortilla. Why would they give cilantro and jalapeño separate when I asked to be part of tacos, is a mystery. Guacamole was good. Their salsa seems to get sweet after first serving. Room for improvement. Overall a decent place to eat.

I grew up going to the original Anamias in Coppell for decades. We recently moved to Flower Mound and decided to give the local Anamias a try. Our entrees and appetizers were great but for whatever reason the salsa was incredibly over-salted. Might have just been a one-off issue. We will be back for more!

The food is incredibly bland, they charge for sodas per refill and are not upfront about it, they charged for tortillas and I straight up said I don t like my food and did not receive an apology or even an acknowledgement that I mentioned. We will not be back. With as expensive as eating out is, patrons deserve better. This is a joke of a restaurant and the owner should be ashamed to serve food this bland. We got chicken fajita nachos, the appetizer platter and a taco meal. Definitely do not recommend. Taco Bell has more flavor.

Its a shame how much this restaurant has gone down the hill. I try and order from here at least twice a week. But after yesterdays experience I will never step foot back in this restaurant. Your Togo girl is the worst I have ever had to deal with and two other servers sitting in the booth at the bar were absolutely rude! I almost asked to cancel my order and leave, but I had already paid. After I got home with my order and saw what I paid over 60 dollars for it literally made me sick to my stomach. The quality of the food here has gone from great to the worst of worst. Most of my food was not how I ordered it and thats where your blonde young girl working Togo messed up. I specifically told her what I wanted but I think she really didnt give two craps about my order. There are so many other restaurants in Flower Mound that would love to have my business.

Been going to this chain since I was a kid, brought a date out here and she had a piece of broken dish in her taco and bit down on it. We let the staff know and the manager came to check on us, we were good but they did little else to help the awkward situation other than grab the little dish piece. The table side guacamole was delicious, but unfortunately the chips were stale and terrible which kinda ruined it. The strawberry mojito was not very good at all. I shouldve tried a margarita. Hoping those are better. Fish tacos were great and I enjoyed the black beans. The rice lacked flavor. The service was average, but I think that was only because of the server we got. Also, the restaurant was quite warm. Hot enough that a few people in our group (of 8) commented on. I think it might be difficult to keep that place comfortable in the Texas heat with all of the windows facing the west sun. Its worth giving it another chance. Hoping the drinks and chips improve.

This is absolutely my favorite place to eat. The food is so delicious I leave this place feeling more than full every time I eat there haha. Their salsa is hands down the best restaurant salsa Ive ever had. And they are very attentive with the salsa, no extra charge and they bring more out whenever youre getting low. The staff is wonderful, very nice, good service, I eat there often and have never had a bad experience. The atmosphere is also very nice, it can be a bit crowded if you go during popular times like friday evening, but it is generally a very welcoming atmosphere. All in all amazing restaurant with outstanding food and service, if you at ALL into texmex you will LOVE this place. Honestly cant give them enough praise! My personal favorite dish is the enchiladas verdes :)

Hands down the BEST customer service I have ever received. Roberto was AMAZING and the manager was too! Our food was great, it was quick, delicious, authentic! My boyfriend and I both had the chilaquiles verdes and being a Hispanic living in Texas were pretty picky.. but we were impressed. The waiters were quick and very friendly. My wife is a big green sauce critic and she said she finally found a green sauce she loves. She said we are definitely coming back again. I was really impressed with this place! Super well-priced, especially for the area. I got a Juanito meal, and the brisket taco with mole and slaw was a fantastic combo. The chicken verde enchilada was really good too. Crunchy chips, and a nicely balanced, flavorful salsa, both for free. Cozy, happening, and the staff was super efficient while being friendly and approachable. I dont usually leave reviews, but this is such a gem. Vegetarian options: Cheese quesadillas were vegetarian, and my date got them. Not sure about other options! Alfredo is the best manager and Jose and Lupe are hard-working and make sure to take care of guests providing attentive and friendly service. My favorite are the nachos especiales and table side guacamole.

Cinco De Mayo!! It should be a celebration. This place was our go to for good Tex-Mex. Today was a complete disappointment. Food was cold, service was terrible, our server seemed not to care about anything I brought to his attention. I hate giving negative reviews but I have to. Two other tables were sat and left and then the next seating was already giving orders while we still waiting to pay. I will not return to this establishment based on the lack of attention and poor service we received. I brought this to the servers attention and he still didn t care. It would have better service at chilis across the street. I left my number on the receipt for management to receive direct feedback.

Service was good. Food was absolutely delicious! Highly recommend their ceviche! Ot is unlike any other Ive tried... so refreshing! Salsa was a tad spicy for my liking, but that didnt stop me from eating it! Will definitely return!

Normally great place to eat. Today was the worse service ever. Found ourselves waiting several times for our waiter, once saved by the manager or whatever, second time a different server than first.... then final time the original waiter came back only after having to request a waiter, empty glasses, waited too long. Horrible service...Mayolo was our server... absolutely horrible...... Worst server ever..

The best is the table side guacamole! The queso is good, but not my fav. Margaritas were good. The chicken fajitas and chicken flautas were delicious! Our waitress wasnt attentive or quick. We had to ask for the AC to be turned on when it did it then it felt a ton better. We would go back!

So.. Im stuck. I can look at Anamias in two ways. 1, its an upscale restaurant, with low quality, bland food, an upscale facade, decent atmosphere, poor service, and jeez, warn a person before bringing our canned sodas. Id rather have water, thank you. 2, Its a ma n pop place, with an upscale vibe, typical canned tomato salsa and canned nacho cheese queso, with prices a tad higher than I would expect for a ma n pop establishment, but damn that brisket was good. Id probably give THIS place 4 stars. Im left thinking its a ma n pop, upscale, disaster. Which is sad, because I do typically love ma n pop places. But for Anamias.. The way it is now, Im not coming back, and Im left with a neutral 3 stars.
