I really enjoyed this place! Good drinks and wine selection and the food was really good. I still think Perry s steak is a little more flavorful but still 1845 steak was still delicious. Loved the sides! Best brussel sprouts I ve ever had. My only complaint is it s so dark in there. I had to use the light on my phone several times. Other than being dark the service was great and an overall good experience. Will try again.

*Update 9.21.24* This place has been awesome since the day it openped. *7.31.23* Havent been here in a while due to medical reasons but this place is just as good today as my previous reviews. Yall, Try the double chocolate cake! - I ate here five times in one month and the service and food were spot on each time. This is an All Texas venue from the food, art, music and spirits presented at this restaurant. Its pretty casual place but can be a fancy night out. My only gripe is that they open at 4 pm every day that its open. It would be a great place for lunch. If youre not in the door within the first hour I would suggest reservations. The bar gets pretty packed also within the first two hours. Mainly from the locals living within walking distance of the restaurant. This is a great place to take someone you want to impress for a date, prom or someone from out of town. Theyll remember this place and the food. The menu is not long and tedious. They stick to the basics and do it over the top and with rich flavors. Most appetizers are for two, three or even four person servings. Order the Texas Experience if you have a group of people (at least four)... Its not on the menu but your server can tell you about it. Ive order all of the appetizers and you cant go wrong with any. The cocktail shrimp is my favorite. The queso with fillet steak pieces comes in at a close second. My ten yo son keeps ordering the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy. He will not order anything else. (Update: he order something else- the chicken fried chicken sandwich with sweet potato fries, and ate it all). He tells everyone he can that its his favorite restaurant. All the salads are huge, well except for the house salad, its larger than a normal side salad. The steaks have been perfect and made to your choice of doneness. Drinks have been made with a heavy pour too. So I think you definitely get your moneys worth. You will have to make room for the blueberry cobbler with vanilla ice cream. Its the house best seller and I can see why. Once you have it youll make sure you order it again and even to go. Its one of the desserts that you can enjoy with someone else or by yourself. 8.31.2022 - *Update 10.14.2022* Ive been here several times more, & it keeps getting better I think. The staff is always in a great mood and with a pleasant attitude. Jackie and Bobby are always ready to help and make things right although things can happen that is out of their control. Wait staff again is very knowledgeable and courteous. Nina, Tuesday, Seth and others I cant remember off the top of my head because Ive only had them serve me once, are great folks to work with. My son finally tried something different than the chicken fried chicken that he loves. Its the chicken fried chicken sandwich. Go figure. He likes this with a side of gravy instead of the honey ranch and the sweet potato fries (theyre really sweet). I celebrated my birthday this time around, so I ordered the Smoked Pork Chop with a side of asparagus. WOW! This thing looks good but smells even better! I knew going in that there is NO WAY that I could finish it and have desert too. Well at least without doing some damage to myself and having a wheelchair roll out service (not on the menu - yet) The Blackened Redfish with fish sauce was amazing once again. I will have to say that the kitchen knows what they are doing and I applaud their attention to detail, day after day because they have been on point - every single time Ive been here. Bravo my friends, BRAVO. I hope they keep up the excellent work, all around this restaurant. - *Update: 02.13.23* I keep forgetting to mention the front of the house is also pleasant all the time and really try to accommodate us each time we arrive. They do read the comments in the reservations. We have a favorite spot now. We have requested it several times and have been happy to eat there. The reservations are through the Google maps and is extremely easy to use. It automatically puts it in your calendar, once its confirmed. Parking: Parking is ample for the first two hours then its sketchy. Especially if there is a concert across the street. Valet available. Wheelchair accessibility: 3 or 4 handicap parking right in front of the door. Also wheelchair ramp

You know today was Les s and my 28th anniversary. In August we went to Perry s Steak House for Les s 65th bday and they gave 4 of us dessert on the house. WELL tonight Les and I went to 1845 Steak House and they asked us if we were celebrating a special occasion. We told them yes. They brought us a light that we couldn t keep. They told us the light was for everyone to know it was a celebration. I said so do we get a dessert and our hostess laughed and said no sorry just the light on your table while you are here Marty B I would be so embarrassed if this was my restaurant. How hard would it be to give a dessert to his patrons that decided to spend their special night at YOUR RESTAURANT?

We had our weekly date night, and the hubs surprised me with this fantastic restaurant. So good. The Ceasar salad, artichoke dip, spices, 9 Oz filet, jalapeño mac, truffle fries. All amazing. I left stuffed. Chris R. Was our waiter, and he did a fantastic job. Might go back next week. I want more. This may be my fav steak house. They are better than Del Frisco and D lincolns.

This place does it right. Its a loud, lively atmosphere, so if youre looking for a quiet meal, this isnt it. However, the food, the service and everything else is wonderful. The staff is very attentive and so is management. They are checking on you without being intrusive. They make you feel special if youre celebrating a special occasion. I havent found anything that has disappointed. The burgers are very good. The chicken fried chicken is excellent, as are the steaks. My son loved the prime rib. Personal favorite is the small filet and augratin potatoes, the house salad, and the double chocolate dessert. The staff goes out of their way to thank you for coming in when youre leaving. They are pleasant and everyone has a smile on their face.

The Texas Experience appetizer is a must. Service and attention were great - manger very present on the dining room floor engaging guests and making sure all experiences were positive. Wife had a filet and I had prime rib - both very good. Only disappointment was the augratin potatoes (very soupy). Very good cocktails. Will definitely return and try other items.

The food was amazing and the drinks were yummy. The service was outstanding! I think our servers name was Jayden and she was phenomenal. We had so many menu questions and a few food allergies and she was on top of everything. Our kids were promptly taken care of and we all had a lovely birthday dinner. Dietary restrictions: All food allergies were noted and not cross-contaminated. You can customize to your hearts desire. Kid-friendliness: They do have an off-menu kids food selection. Drinks with lids. No crayons, but their food was delivered first.

We absolutely love 1845 Taste Texas! My husband always orders the Prime Rib, I like the Redfish and Filet. Potatoes au gratin are so creamy and good. We also enjoy the jalapeno appetizer, although there the spiciness does have a kick. We try to dine at 1845 Taste Texas at least once a month. This is my favorite restaurant in Flower Mound.

We hopped into the bar after the movies and for my first time I m sitting at the bar thinking it s a page out of a Southern Sex in the City and I never want to leave. This place had some of the most tasty food I ve had in the area, and the service was among the best service I ve literally ever had. Those two things alone give this place a 5 star review even though, admittedly, getting seated was terrible. I had a reservation at 7:30, but wasn t seated until 8:15. Still, the food and the service was impeccable and made this a saved evening. Parking: The parking lot is mostly resident parking for the apartments next door, but there are a few free spots, as well as valet.

Exceptional evening at 1845 Taste Texas. The atmosphere was nice - and the restaurant was very busy for a Wednesday evening but the noise level allowed us to easily carry our conversation. The service was attentive without being overwhelming. But the food was the star of the show! I had the seven ounce fillet (cooked to medium rare) and it was the best steak I have had in a long time. The fried jalapeño appetizer was also nice and I loved the pimento cheese (part of the trio). I look forward to coming back soon! Note - there are limited vegetarian options (only the side dishes and salads).

Went to celebrate my daughters birthday. Just FYI do not bring your own cupcake to celebrate even after spending close to $200 for appetizers, dinner, and drinks. it s restaurant policy for no outside birthday cupcake! What a terrible policy. I mean literally the manager came out and shut it down, and do not take a single bite of that cupcake. Sort of put a tamper on the whole end of the night. Might take my $ elsewhere next time for a nice meal, and of course call the restaurant first to see if I can bring a cupcake. Ahh the world we live in these days sometimes.

We recently visited 1845 to celebrate a friend s birthday, and it was a memorable experience. Despite a bustling Saturday evening, the staff was impressively attentive, ensuring we were well taken care of and that service remained prompt. The highlight of our meal was undoubtedly the steaks, which were cooked to perfection. The sides complemented the main course very well. We particularly enjoyed the appetizers, with the pork belly and meatballs standing out as our favorites. Both were flavorful and well-prepared. Overall, 1845 provided an excellent dining experience!

We decided to break away from our usual premium restaurant to give 1845 a try. Let s just say it did not disappoint. Excellent food, drinks, atmosphere, and service. Megan took wonderful care of us and was perfectly attentive and knowledgeable. The poblano meatballs may just be the perfect appetizer. The filet I had was top tier and easily one of if not the best I ve had in the area. My wife loved her prime rib and all our sides were excellent as well. Drinks and dessert (try the peach cobbler) are very worth exploring. Check this place out, you won t regret it!

This is our new favorite place in the DFW metroplex! The atmosphere is dim and lively, the staff is 5 star, and the food is DELECTABLE. We had a meatball while we were waiting that was like a brisket meatball and was the perfect balance of spicy, sweet and smoky and a bartender took our drink order while we were waiting. It was raining so we sat inside but the patio looks spectacular! The bar was bustling and staff was attentive to keep us updated regarding our seat status while we waited, and when we were sat a bartender brought us complimentary champagne for the wait! She was very sweet and apologetic although it wasnt very long. The dining room is HUGE and we sat in the back where it was nice and cool. We had the trio of dips (phenomenal), and I had the fried jalapenos and fried quail that came with green beans and mashed potatoes--they were both starters but I could have just gone with one! No worries because there was plenty to take home. My husband had the chicken club sandwich and LOVED it. Our daughter loved the mashed potatoes! Everything here is 5-star, and we will definitely be back. Ask for Mateo, he was extremely helpful and attentive as our waiter! Kid-friendliness: Our daughter loved it!

While I was wildly impressed by the attentive service of the 1845 staff and my family continues to rave about their respective meals being some of the best they ve ever had, my review today stems from the exemplary commitment to excellence demonstrated by the 1845 management. After leaving a review on another platform which included a minor critique about our table not being ready for our reservation time, I was contacted by Zoe who wanted to understand more about the issue. Not only was she understanding of my issue but she offered to help reconcile the issue. This sort of follow-up and reconciliation is almost unheard of in the service industry these days, and speaks volumes of 1845 s commitment to excellence for patrons both in and out of the restaurant. My dinner ensured that I d come back, but that follow-up from management made me a regular. Do yourself a favor and give 1845 a try - you will not regret it.

We came here on a Monday night to celebrate a birthday, it was our first time to visit 1845. We were not disappointed. Everyone in our large group had something to choose from AND they all loved what they got! The queso is delicious, we should have ordered two! Some of the dishes our group ordered were: filet, redfish, grilled chicken sandwich, and chicken fried steak. I would recommend any. Our waiter always refilled our drinks before we asked, he knew the menu throughly, and was very friendly. I would recommend visiting this restaurant for a nice dinner or special occasion.

Absolutely the best positive experience for our 44th wedding anniversary. From our waiter, Taylor, to Chris, manger, we were treated with the utmost care on our special occasion. Less I forget to mention, the steaks are phenomenal. I had a filet mignon, medium rare, cooked to perfection along with the jalapeño Mac n Cheese. 10/10 This was my husband and my first time dining at 1845. When we arrived, we were greeted at the door by the manager because the power was out. He immediately recommended Rustico because there wasn t a guarantee that the power would be restored in a decent amount of time. However, as we waited in the car trying to decide where to go, the power was restored and we were BLESSED with the most AMAZING EXPERIENCE! We were able to celebrate our tenth anniversary in Ft. Worth style. After sinking out teeth into there delectable 12oz prime rib, we quickly forgot about all those other so called steak houses that everyone talks about. This was the culinary highlight of my recent stay in Dallas, the appetizer (Texas Experience) was superb, particularly the quail with gravy; wow. The smoked prime rib was one of the best pieces of meat I have ever had, particularly when accompanied by a great Cabernet Sauvignon from Becker vineyards. A++

This was my first time eating here. Ordered a file and without asking butter flyer it is resulting in a tough steak. Ordered a top shelve Margarita .. by far was one of the worst drinks I ever tried. Knowing tequila this was more like lower shelves brand. When food was served was platted wrong on both of our serving. This may be a great restaurant. sure, did not perform in the manner it should have. Was not enjoyable and at best a disappointing first visit.

This was our first time dining at this local gem. We were so surprised with the crowd for dinner on a Thursday night. The wait staff and managers were so welcoming and enquired about our experience and satisfaction. The Ribeye steak was perfectly seared, juicy, and done to my likeness. Our party also loved the fish entrees. The sides Brussel sprouts, Mac & cheese, and mashed potatoes were well liked. The Augratin potatoes were a bit too watery for our liking. We had a great time hanging out with friends. The lighting for photos needs some work as getting the perfect, well lit shots is a bit challenging. The outside lounge seating is good, although one of the outdoor fireplaces did not work. We would be back for more...

This is just the same Marty Bs food, but with a little more frosting on the cake so they can charge more than Marty. This was something confirmed with the server and a manager. Calling this upscale is a hoax as there is not much different than Marty Bs. When you ask for bread (like every upscale restaurant has), please be aware that its $5 for an Outback style bread. The server will not tell you this, so please watch for it as it took us 4 loaves to see that they added an extra $20 to the bill, SURPRISE! The over-sized porkchop llooks good, but legit my mouth tasted like an ashtry with 10 Marlboros put out in it, for the next 2 days. Its not actually a scam, but more of trickery which seems consistent with the Marty Bs brand, as of late. One and done, and yes we did share our experience as we are doing now. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- In response to whomever wrote the amazingly unintelligent response below. First of all, thank you. You helped to demonstrate the continued arrogance of your brand, very typical. But, now you are takimng this to another level. Secondly, yes, we ate the and I have the name of the server, manager and day/time we were there, but would never want to theor them under the bus for their honesty. Thirdly, you did not dispute any of my acustations, you just made it personal which speaks volumes about your treatment of customers, and most likely your employees. And Fourth... Absolutely amazing! Simon was our waiter and he literally knocked it out of the park with not only his knowledge, but is kindness and professionalism. Ive done my fare share of reviews. The food here blew me away. By far the best filet mignon Ive ever had. #2 the pork belly was a complete surprise with the texture and flavor! Put it on one of those half rolls and it becomes a pork belly pancake, unreal awesome! #3 The meatballs were another complete surprise on how excellent they were. We went here for the first time for our anniversary. We decided last minute to check it out so we didn t have any reservations so we had a long wait before we got seated. Food: One of the best Ribeye steaks Ive had in YEARS. I ordered the peppercorn sauce (which was fantastic) but forgot that I even ordered it because the meat was perfectly cooked. Service: We had Mark (I think this is right) as our waiter and he was amazing at giving recommendations. The Pork Chop my wife ordered was amazing. And he is correct, its better than Perrys with its jam it is cooked in. Atmosphere: a little dark but definitely sets a nice date night setting where its easy to forget the place isnt massive. The bar is compact but set at the front away from your dining experience. The patio (pending weather) is awesome and spacious.

Went for our Anniversary. Glad we had reservations, it was packed on a Saturday night! Service was outstanding. My husband had the filet and I had the Redfish. Steak was cooked to perfection, the redfish was good. We had shrimp cocktail was great, a little spicy. Only item I didnt care for was the mashed potatoes, otherwise it was an excellent dinner.
