We had a blast staying at Twin Coves. Fun for all ages. Rented 2 cabins next to each other so the adults could hang out by the fire while the kids were plenty entertained with all of the surrounding activities. Would highly recommend

What a beautiful campground. All the roads and spaces are concrete and so smooth. The campground was very, very clean. We enjoyed staying right on the lake. Bathroom and showers were clean but we did have some problems with shower heads not working and the showers not draining. Staff were not rude but we definitely have experienced friendlier and more accommodating staff at other campgrounds. (Ex: I asked if I could leave a postcard at the desk to go out in the mail and they said no).

This place is great. We had an awesome time. We fished , I flew my drone (off property) and got some amazing pics ,I have to see if their uploaded to my phone and I will include them, if not I will edit this later and upload them. This place was nice, neatly kept, and peaceful. Only had one issue with so.e graffiti that so.e loser left but it was taken care of immediately by the staff. We were actually moved closer to the lake and had a much better view. 5 stars all the way. We will be going back soon, I recommend the cabins with the loft. Plenty of room, full size kitchen , Grapevine Lake is amazing. Thanks to all the employees that assisted us during our stay, we will see you soon!!!

It was a cold weekend so it was not crowded and very peaceful. I rented the tumbleweed cabin. The full kitchen is great. Also the linens/towels are of nice quality and the furniture is comfortable. The staff is exceptional!! They were extremely responsive, professional and polite. Honestly their attitudes really made our stay all the more enjoyable. I will definitely return!

They refused to let me book a spot for camping as I have a 2021 Rav 4 and not an rv. I have camped at many places, parked in a paid for spot with electrical or primitive with a space to pull in your car and had an awesome time camping with my 7 year old son and lab. Apparently, if I dont plan to sleep in the tent ( where we store supplies typically) and plan to sleep in back of my rav 4 (as its winter)with a custom sized mattress thats against their ridiculous policy. Im a teacher, I cant afford an RV. Soooo guess well be camping elsewhere. Car camping is quite common now, surprised at their antiquated policy.

Theres lots of wildlife to see here too! Weve seen butterfly colonies, deer, armadillos, opossum, and other critters. Lots of people seem to come here to take family and wedding photos too! This is the second time we have had our family reunion here and it is a great place! We get a pavilion and it is perfect. We have water access and the scenery is just beautiful. We have never stayed overnight but it is great for getting family together, having a place to spread out and having some shade and plenty of tables under the pavilion.

Worked out nicely. We chose this location as we were attending Texas Motor Speedway for the first time. Not able to explore the immediate area with the temperature was 100*+ and 700 miles of race. Close proximity to Flower Mound, DFW, TMS, and Dallas. Did find a screw in my car tire upon exit. However, its possible to experience that any day.

Cost $10 per car entrance fee and you can use a credit card at the self serve kiosk. The bathrooms were very clean. I didnt go into any cabins but the large group I was with stated the cabins were very nice. I did not camp like they did. There were plenty of RV hookup camp sites or you could use a tent. I highly recommend this park.

Beautiful campground located in the north side of Lake Grapevine. Daily entrance fee is $10 per car, although if you only plan to hike/bike there are other nearby places to park free of charge. The park has cabins for rent, a boat launch ramp, kayaks for rent, and several trails. I walked eastward for about 90 minutes and it was very pleasant, only encountering a few hikers and bikes. The trail is clean in general and people should be reminded to take their own trash. Looking forward to coming back to visit other trails Dog-friendliness: Dogs on a leash are allowed to walk the trails Picnic area: Several spots allow for picnic

This park is beautiful. The cabins are awesome!! Stayed here for Christmas and loved it. The trails they have to hike are amazing. A lot of great views. Absolutely cant wait to come back. You would not expect anything like this park to be in the location its in. Practically surrounded by neighborhoods but as soon as you turn on the park rd, youre in the middle of wilderness. If its freezing outside, teens or lower, dont expect much hot water. The water heaters arent made for that temp. Lol. Aside from that, the office needs to open sooner than 10am. Seems kinda lazy on that part.

We spent 4 nights here at Thanksgiving while visiting family. We had reserved 3 nights and been wait listed for Thanksgiving Day. We were able to stay that 4th night moving sites. The park is immaculate. The roads and sites were paved and in good condition. The services at the site were well placed. All sites had full hookups and the water pressure was good. We were in Site 12. This site shared a driveway with the neighboring site, but was easy to back into. It overlooked the cove. Each site had a fire pit, a picnic table, a BBQ, and a lantern hook. Although the sites were closely spaced in places, your area seemed private. There was a camp store which had firewood and kayak and paddle board rentals. We moved to Site 7, again a back in. This was a difficult site to back in with a 30 travel trailer. It was difficult to make the turn on the truck side with a large culvert/ditch across from the site and required backing in at and sharp angle and then straightening once in. Both sites were east to level. We did not access any of the outdoor activities given the time of year.

Yes. Cabin was clean and well stocked kitchen. BUT was barely able to wash my hair in the smallest, shortest shower Ive ever seen AND both beds were THE MOST UNCOMFORTABLE BEDS I have ever experienced! I even tried the fold out couch... HORRIBLE! AND the WIFI was barely working. For $160 a night I expected to at least have a good night sleep..And sadly after living in FM for the past 21 years- sold our house in August ,& needed to stay in FM for a minor surgery but did not get FM discount. Very sad experience all around.

Great RV park and campground. Make your reservations online. The park has a gate and requires an access code to get in that is sent to you as part of your reservation. There is no gate attendant so be sure to have your access code with you when you arrive. Super clean, full hookups (50A/30A, water, sewer), picnic table, fire ring and charcoal grill in every RV spot. They also have wireless as well and the wireless antenna s are located throughout the park. We have stayed there several times and have love it each time. Will definitely go again.

Great little park. Everything is nice including the staff. No showers that we seen but not a big deal. Spots are big and concrete. We did move to a smaller spot while there (21). Fit our 40ft no problem however getting out was a chore. Had to back out. Just a heads up to large campers. Nice lake for fishing, water recreation rentals, camp store, playground and good rates. We would definitely return.

Very nice staff. My husband and I stayed at one of the primitive campsites, not too far away from the office, parking lot, or bathroom. I really liked that I could enter through the gate after hours with a code so I could hang out with my friends after they got off work and be able to return with my car to the campground. Campsite was clean. HUGE park, wish we had more time to explore it. Definitely coming back when we are in Texas again!

Very beautiful place & park. Rented a cabin for the weekend, I got the Honeysuckle, which is ADA compliant, it is very tiny! Big enough for only 2 people. It was a very nice and clean cabin, air conditioning was okay, they were easy to use, it was still a bit warm though and they were noisy from the fans. The bed wasnt super comfortable, just a basic queen size bed, was still able to get some rest though! The lake was nice, plenty of spots to get into the water itself. Fishing was a bust from too much activity going around and the noise levels. Everyone on their boats had loud music going and it was all different music. I would recommend not going on a weekend, might be better if you are looking for some more quiet and seclusion. It is not pet friendly for cabins! Only if you are renting a camping or RV spot. Which some people had their animals off leash so just be aware of that, even though it states to keep them on leash.

Camped here during Halloween. Lots of campers decorating their rigs even the cabins decorated. Spent time with friends and family had a great time. Such a blast, friendly staff. No issues with anything.

Me and hubby took the kiddos (1&2) everyone there staff and visitors were extremely friendly. There was people partying on a boat (Pretty good music too ) once it hit 10 oclock they shut it down and it was a quiet evening. We found a tent campsite that we really like, and plan on going back once it cools down some. Only partial downside was all the rocks in the lake (so bring water shoes!) Oh and they have life vest of all sizes you can use for free! As long as you put them back! We are thinking about trying one of the cabins too!

I am so impressed with this park! It is beautiful and clean! They have these awesome trials you can walk or bike threw trees, there are even some primitive camp sights in the trees, they also have different areas for campers where you can hook up. They have cabins and a park for kids. It s very clean and well kept. The staff are really nice and helpful! I would love to come back here for a family reunion Each camper spot also has its own fire pit and picnic table.

Great for an easy family getaway. Cabin had everything we needed -- coffee maker, oven mitts, etc -- so it was all about bringing fun food and cooking over the firepit. But the microwave was super handy for quick breakfast. The cabin spacing is well thought out so you dont see your neighbor at their firepit so it feels secluded even though lots of people are around.

Driving in, I was leary of the weekend ahead as we traveled through neighborhood streets to get here. Upon arrival the park was spotless, very well kept and beautifully nestled in trees right on the lake! Definitely not what youd expect to find in the middle of DFW - pleasantly surprised. Lots of hiking trails along the lake, through the woods and kayaks are available to rent. Surprisingly there was zero traffic/city noise. Sites were all cemented and included full hookup, fire pit, grill and table. I would definitely recommend this park for anyone looking for a weekend getaway. Park host (I believe her name was Elise) was also very sweet, we forgot salt and pepper - called the office, to see if they had any for sale before heading to the store; instead, she personally brought us 2 big ziplocks full, free of charge!

Nicest campground we have ever stayed at. Absolutely loved our stay here. A little windy but they cant control the weather. We were in Site #13 and it had the perfect view of the lake. Every site was perfectly level, the hookups were extremely clean and well maintained, and the sites all had grill, fire pit, picnic table, and plenty of space. We will absolutely be back!

RV Park Review - Great place to take the family! - Everything looks very new and clean. - Full hookups, everything worked fine. - Park hosts were very friendly and helpful. - Hiking trail is scenic and shaded. - Kayak rental is right there by the RV park. - Didnt have any luck fishing, and no one else around us seemed to have any luck other than a few small bluegill. - There are crawfish hiding among the rocks! - Would definitely stay here again.

As hiking became our new, favorite outdoor activity, we now hike every sunday afternoon exploring new hiking trails. This is our first time hiking here. The parking is $10 per vehicle to park closer to the hiking trails. But they do have small, free parking just before the pay station, from there you need to walk down that road for 10-15 minutes to the hiking starting point. They have nice, clean and well maintained restrooms next to camping cabins. Great hiking trails. We didnt make all the way to the ending point, buy still enjoyed our hiking halfway and back. This hiking trail gave us a feeling like we were hiking in the jugle. Beautiful, peaceful and enjoyable trails. This location has other different trails follows along the main trail in different directions, we even got lost on our way hiking back. There were other hiking people who helped us out. We noticed that it gets more jamed around 2pm and a little after. We didnt see any wild animals, but did see lots of grass hoppers. Definitely well come hike here again.
