I went there on April 28, 2024 for the total eclipse! It was great for me, my sweet fur baby and two other families! We had a great time! The only thing is is that the pond with the fountain where we were had brown/dead algae floating on top which was not a pretty sight. Picnic area: The picnic area was nice and clean but I just wish the would have been much prettier.

Nice little park with a trail thats also interconnected to the golf course. I prefer Westchester Park but this one is also nice, and it has a pond and a gazebo.

Lots of picnic benches and interesting displays about nature. But the gazebo is totally infested with wasps. I got stung once, but my friends poor toddler got FIVE stings on her face and chest. Avoid the gazebo.

Beautiful and picturesque, this neighborhood park is part of what was the old growth forest. The park is filled with a broad spectrum of large shade trees, assorted flowering bushes and related flora. A wide concrete walking trail surrounds the figure-8 shaped lake, with other trails that connect to the surrounding neighborhoods. The lake, featuring a large fountain, is filled with assorted fish, turtles, ducks and the occasional large king-fisher or similar water fowl. It is very common to see children with their fishing gear, as well as assorted joggers, moms with strollers and the local contingent of neighbors walking their dogs. There is also a meandering creek along the parks border with Bridlewood Golf Club. For those interested in taking a few minutes to immerse in the relative quite and serenity, there are numerous places where you can grab a seat - a gazebo, numerous picnic tables, along with multiple benches scatted along the shaded walking trail....

Clean and beautiful park, great for photography, walking, biking, or just relaxing. It has a lovely gazebo and is generally very quiet. My favorite part is how natural it is aside from the sidewalks. They leave the foliage alone for the most part and its a nice escape from a well trimmed suburban area.
