Weve been visiting Cava since they opened in flower mound and its been our Thursday weekly lunch routine. Over the past 6 months the service has steadily been declining, people taking the orders often abrupt, quantities have dropped and often miss key ingredients. When I order a harissa avocado I would expect not to tell the people would at least put the base ingredients. They dont even ask if a pita needs to be included. Chicken is kid size and Ive seen people wanting to double the meat. I dont think were going to go to this location anymore, plenty of other locations that are completely nicer.

Fantastic fast food.... Create your own bowl, pick your base.. pick your proteins, sauces and toppings. Like Chipotle but better. Top that off with friendly faces and well continue to drop in weekly! Amelia really makes this location special. A positive dining experience no matter how fast casual or fine dining it may be is so heavily reliant on the level of customer service they deliver to their guests. Cava is usually a huge miss on the service for me but I was so impressed with my experience with Amelia today. Can t remember the manager s name but she was great too. I live two minutes away from the Coppell location but would much rather come here from now on.

My mouth was watering for some cava as a birthday treat. As I walked in, tummy rumbling after my run this morning, some olives on my mind, and Mediterranean in my heart, the sight of the worker in his beautiful cava tshirt, brought joy to my eyes. what can I get for you today? he asked me with so much professionalism and a smile on his face. I looked down at my stomach saviors name tag: Caleb. I gave him my order, and he filled every scoop all the way up. I was not skimped, in fact he gave me a little extra chicken (making my day, got to hit that protein)! Caleb worked hard to get me my food quickly but with the utmost quality, and you could see that his coworkers loved him as well. As I checked out, Caleb was both helping me and my brother while taking care of the next customer, talk about efficiency! My cava was delicious, but the best part of it all was when he wished me a marvelous day and broke out in a happy birthday tune. overall, the restaurant was clean, all the workers were angels, the food was delicious, and there was nothing in sight but happy customers. I was so hungry and I decided to hit up my favorite chipotle knock off, Cava. My stomach was audibly grumbling and I was in a distressed state of being as I was walking in on September 12, 2024. All that went away as the worker redirected my attention to why I was there. What can I get for you today? He said to me in the most professional and savvy way possible. His amazing customer service astounded me. My mood was instantly brightened and I m pretty sure I felt the sun get brighter at that exact moment bringing even more joy to my experience.And I must say, the execution of his scooping technique was absolutely flawless giving me the proportionate amount of ingredients in a time efficient manner. Caleb s excellent customer service as well as his above and beyond work ethic has made my experience here significantly better. I hope this institution increases his hours to a modest 168 Hrs/Wk so that I may continue coming back to enjoy this wonderful establishment. Needless to say it was the best Mediterranean bowl I have ever had in my life. The flavors worked so well together between the harissa honey chicken, the delicious rice, and the assortment of vegetables. 10/10 I love this place Thank you Caleb

Corporate, generic, and bland. If you eat humus and pita chips and consider your taste adventurous, this place is for you. It attempts to appeal to the broadist common denominator without ruffling its clients feathers. Its lifeless. The only Mediterranean thing about the place is where the ingredients and seasoning took inspiration from. Its Chipotle if mexico was halfway around the world. Its all shipped in from various prep factories, and freshly unsealed to keep operating costs low. Plus, hiring a bunch of highschoolers, and charging 20 a bowl is also... neat. All the food my group received was sopping wet with various brines and juices. The only thing that was authentic was how the meat was seasoned, but taco mix doesnt make tacos authentic Mexican food. Theres this sense of what are you doing Calling it Mediterranean food is accurate only in the literal sense, because they use literally EVERY Mediterranean side to pile into your bowl. Theres no attention to flavor profiles. Hummus, tzatziki, pickled cucumber and pickled cabbage tabouli, all mixed onto a pita burrito. This works for Chipotle because its proletarian. Its ALL complimentary flavor wise. But Mediterranean isnt like that. Its like if you went to subway, got every sauce and veggie, after getting a single meat, and calling it American style. I mean, I guess, but it cant be tasty, can it? They also dont keep the area clean. Every side bin is sort of mixed with the other. Whether sloppy staff, or poor design, idk, but there are standards that they could afford. If you want Mediterranean food, look further than here. This place makes Mediterranean food look bad. Drive to Carrollton, theres a thriving immigrant community there, with good food and staff that are familiar with how to do this properly. Find greek food. Find egyptian food. Find a hookah Cafe. Itll be a better experience than coming to a place that just serves lamb and calls it Mediterranean.

I ve been eating at this Cava location for many years, and the quality of their food has stayed the same throughout, if not improved since I started eating here. Faces have come and gone, people moved on with their lives - started school, started families, opened up mortgage loans. However, the one, true constant at this Cava location has been the assistant manager Zoe. She beams and radiates pure optimism and is always eager to best serve her regular customers. She s warm, welcoming, has a very funny laugh, and a lil perky. I place most all of my orders online(through the CAVA app) then pick them up. Food is always delicious and packaged neatly. No spilled dressings or other things left in the bottom of the bag, like has happened to me at other places I ve ordered takeout from. My only complaint with ordering online, is that I m not able to order a side of the brined cucumbers(pickles). I love them, but don t really want them in my salad. I went in today to pick up my order and asked one of the employees, and Rita was so kind, and told me to just ask for them when I come in, they are happy to get me a side of my favorite pickles. She agreed that hopefully one day, customers like me, will be able to order any item as an a la cart side. Until then, she encouraged me to just ask. But on particular visits, something else caught my attention besides the tasty food. Theres a young lady who works the counter, Belle, who consistently stands out. Her efficiency is impressive she juggles multiple orders with ease, yet takes the time to listen carefully to each customers requests. This ensures your bowl is built exactly how you like it, no missed ingredients or surprise toppings. But its not just her speed that makes her a standout. Belle has the warmest smile, complete with the most adorable dimples, that instantly brightens your day. Her friendly demeanor and genuine care for getting things right make the Cava experience even more enjoyable. You can tell she takes pride in her work, and its clear she has a bright future ahead of her. If Cava is smart, theyll hold onto this gem!

This was my first time trying CAVA. Was visiting my sister in the Texas, Flower Mound area. The place was clean, staff friendly and the food was yummy. Belle was kind enough to help us navigate the menu. She told us which items were the best sellers and made some suggestions on what to order. My daughter had the lamb meatballs and I tried the falafel. Belle also recommended we try the juices. We both got the cucumber mint lime drink. It was soooooo refreshing. Thanks Belle!!! Our next visit in the area, well be back.

Cava Flower Mound is my go to place for healthy Mediterranean food on the go because everything is always fresh. Once I got into the store I just felt so welcomed by a Presley and she got me everything I needed very quickly and was very informant when it came to what was good to get. I didnt get any other employees names but the two other girls who helped me were very lovely and patient with me. Would definitely come again as it is such a peaceful environment.

Cava is one of my newest favorite places. So many healthy options and quick & easy! Only thing to watch out for is many items are an extra charge. It adds up fast! Vegetarian options: You can build your own bowl however you want. You can make it vegan if thats your desire. Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian or vegan options available. One of my favorite places when I m craving light, fresh veggie forward meals. Very gluten free friendly nearly everything on the menu is GF (except for pitas, meatballs and a few other things) and the build your own rice bowls are hard to mess up. I love the Harissa Avocado bowl (without the avocado actually) but lately I ve been mixing it up a little.

I would like to recognize two employees who stand out in the Flower Mound Cava. They are Rita and Linda. To begin with, Linda is the first person I dealt with once in line to order. I recently visited Cava for the first time with my daughter and it was a little intimidating for me because I was not sure of the process. Linda assisted me with each and every question I had and never made me feel rushed. She has a very calming welcome about her. I later took my husband there and he told Linda to make him her favorite bowl. She didn t hesitate nor ask him any questions about if he liked or disliked certain things. She simply made him her favorite bowl. He loved it and was so impressed with her willingness to go for it! As for Rita, Rita is one of those people that just makes your day! She has an amazing smile and personality to boot! She makes me want to be more like her! If Rita sees you walk up to the counter after getting your food she is quick to see how she can assist you. It is always so nice when we are eating and she or Linda, while doing other duties, stops by to acknowledge us. In today s world it is rare that anyone gives a hoot about you especially enough to make it a personal and positive visit. I know that as a manger of this Flower Mound establishment you are already aware of the benefits they bring and the assets they are. Thank you Linda and Rita for just being you!

This location needs to be the training center HUB because Dajuana(spell check) n her team are exceptional. I had an error with the online order and instead of telling me to go to the back of the line, Rita big smiled and addressed me n alerted the mgr Dajuana I was in need of assistance. She immediately smiled listen to the concern n EMPHASIZE we want to make it rt at CAVA... She personally made the reorder n made sure I was fully satisfied. Rita made sure the order was correct n in order. Whole staff exceptional. Atmosphere CLEAN all workers smile. Look like they love their job n team. She(Mgr) made my drinks for me carried everything to the car. Just AMAZING!!!! As a vegan its always good to EXPERIENCE CAVA and Flower Mound team represent that.especually Dajana the Mgr I was able to experience. First time trying this location and was sadly disappointed. Usually, I love Cava when they make it right. This time, though, rice was dry and hard as uncooked rice and ruined the whole bowl for me. It hurt to chew because of how hard the damn rice was. I have had the old/poorly cooked rice issue at the Coppell location too, so maybe its a chain thing, but its nasty. A restaurant should be serving fresh food, especially during peak hours. They also forgot the pita bread I ordered. The blondie was tiny and tasted very processed. I didnt expected it to be prewrapped when I ordered it for takeout. Just feels like $20 wasted. Please use fresh food; you charge way too much to not be.
