It seemed they were missing basic flavors like chocolate (they ran out) strawberry, coffee, limone, dark chocolate. We got the stracciatella and the pistachio. They were not great. The good side, they had great coffee. The service was outstanding and the location was 5 stars.

Richard has truly made this a place to be for some of the best craft coffee youll ever have and Gelato is incredible! There are a group of guys who frequent this spot and when were in town we make it a point to come in and chat with them as well as Richard. He takes pride in his craft of making incredible drinks with a welcoming place to sit and enjoy. They always have pastries to snack on and have a smoothie menu if youre looking for something along those lines. If you havent been, support a small business owned by a super nice guy! Do not sleep on this spot, put it into your coffee shop rotation!

First time visit. Ordered Chai latte and lemon/ Raspberry muffin. YUM! Full of flavor and just the right amount. Actual fruit in the muffin, and cinnamon in the latte. Perfect! Vegetarian options: Gelato is usually vegetarian. Nothing labeled as such though Parking: Parking lot in a shopping center. Only a few spaces per store, but most are come and go so spaces open quickly. Wheelchair accessibility: Will need assistance with front door. Some tables have removable chairs for wheelchair access

We love Epic Gelato and drove all the way from Westlake to Flower Mound. Just to encounter a rude employee thats irritated because we ordered a shake 25 min before closing. The blonde hair girl was super nice and helped us with our ice cream order but Rylee needs to show some consideration and manners towards the people that come in. I told her that I will be writing a review and her attitude changed very quickly. Disappointing to say the least .

The name of this spot peeked my curiosity, which caused me to check it out. Once you walk in, the baked good aroma hits you. I only thought they sold gelato, however, you can purchase a smoothie, baked goods, or get some creamy gelato. The vibe there is extremely laid back. It s cool to sit back and relax while reading a book, tap away on your computer or choose one of the board games they offer to compete in a game or two with a friend. Check them out, you will enjoy it. Kid-friendliness: You can take your kids there, it s a gelato spot.

Epic Gelato?!?! Yeah, yeah...the gelato is wonderful. But I want to talk about their epic muffins! The first time I visited to get an Americano I almost made a mistake. I almost made a bad assumption. I almost did not get my first muffin because the case looked a bit empty and sad. And then l learned why: those muffins are flying out of the case and directly into bellies. Home made and fresh baked. Raspberry lemon? Yes! Pineapple? Yes!! Peach? Yes!!! If you are driving past Epic Gelato to get a coffee and baked good at some other coffee shop, you are making a mistake. No, there is not a drive through. Trust me...its worth it to park your car for the 3 minutes its going to take to get a far better coffee and one of the most magical muffins youll ever taste.

We visited in the evening, and had Gelato. It was fantastic. I dont know how it would compare to Gelato in Italy, but here in America, it is top grade. I was in the mood for a good coffee and while they were not baristas working there at the time, they brewed me a cup and Ill be darned if it wasnt a great cup of coffee. I imagine it was the perfect balance between the Gelato and the coffee. I dont recall which coffee they brewed for me, but I like dark roasts. If Im in the area, which is hardly ever, I will be stopping here. The place is nice to. very relaxed.

Their sizes range from kids, medium or large. The medium was the perfect size for me since the gelato is so rich. I ordered a mix of flavors Irish Whiskey and a Purple Cream which were both amazing. They offer a variety of card games for you to play as well. I can t wait to visit this place again on a summer evening. Dietary restrictions: They offer dairy free ice cream.

We went there for a little business meeting. I thought the service was nice, and our coffee was good. I am only giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the cleanliness of the store was not there. It was not busy when we were there, and it could just be someone did not do a great job closing the night before, but most of the tables were pretty gross and the floors looked like they hadnt been cleaned in some time. Overall, just needs a little attention. Would be willing to visit again to see how it does.

I didnt have an opportunity to try the coffee, but the Gelato was delicious! My kids got lots of different flavors, and none were bad. One of my kids even liked the coffee Gelato. For me, personally, the grapefruit was amazing! I regrettably mixed it with lime (which was good but unnecessary) and wished I had stuck to just grapefruit. They were all out of the heaven flavor, which is a crowd pleaser, so Ill have to withold judgment. If youre in there before me, let me know how it is!

Gelato was good, interior was nice, gelate expensive. Customer service was pretty bad. Not rude necessarily, but teenage workers were indifferent and didnt seem to care at all that we were customers, just to pay and go. They didnt even say thank you to any of us (we had a party of 8), which is a small thing, but didnt realize how important it was. Recommendation to the owner to train their workers a bit better. A thank you goes a long way and shows the businesses attitude toward their customers!

Unfortunately I had a bad experience there. Me and my husband went there for the first time on labor s day holiday and were very excited. There were two young attendants who treated us with great indifference and rudeness (even though I said it was our first time on site). Epic has become one of my go-to spots for getting work done during the day. Their menu offers plenty of options for everyone. Some of my favorites are The Way (hot or iced) and their peach blossom iced tea! The affogato is also great! Went for a mid morning coffee meet up with a friend. The atmosphere was welcoming, the barista was friendly and helpful. I had a large Americano and Banana Walnut muffin, my friend had a large Cafe Mocha and chocolate croissant all for under $20. The Americano was piping hot (yay!) and was strong without being bitter or having the burnt over roasted flavor. The Cafe Mocha was piping hot as well (yay, again!) and was very rich and full of chocolatey goodness. Yummy! The muffin was very tasty, moist, nice pieces of walnuts (not chopped). The croissant was on the tough side, but it was still good. I will go back. It was a nice change of pace.

This place is amazing. Love their coffee . I have actually tried 90% of the coffee menu and they are really good. I recommend lavender coffee, rose , raspberry and the way in speciality menu. They are open till late night. Love that about them. Especially on a lazy weekend when we crave for some coffee late in the evening no other coffee shops are usually open except this one. I only wish the seating was a bit comfortable. The sofa sometimes causes discomfort..Its not the Managements fault.. its just that customers were not so gentle with furniture there. I wish they upgrade the seating. Their gelatos are awesome. They are mild in sweetness and its perfect for me. I need to hit the gelato menu soon. I have always loved this place and the owner Richard. The raspberry muffin and the lavender lattte are my go to and they dont disappoint. While I enjoy my goodies with my friends, Richard usually stops by to say hello in his uniquely humorous way. Love the riddle of the day on the white subway tile and the ever changing artwork someone does daily. Its a mystery that even the owner isnt sure of the source. Funny joke on him from his workers. Ive tried the gelato after dinner and always have a good experience regardless of who is working. Very cute place and warm people. Everything is made from scratch from the ice cream to the pastries. The muffins and tarts have real fruit and not that restaurant fake gel. This is the real deal. You may pay more but it is worth it.

Really bad experience with the teenagers working there. It was 8:30pm and the teenage girl was putting the chairs up on our table being loud and rude. After 3 minutes she came to our table saying just so you know, we close in 18 minutes when online it says Epicgelato closes at 10:00pm. Rarely do I visit a place so good that I am compelled to write a review immediately. The gelato was fresh, creamy, and wonderful. The coffee was EXCELLENT. The owner gave us insights into their process, from bean selection to grinding and water preparation. Suffice it to say, the care and attention that went into preparing my espresso shot resulted in quite possibly the best coffee Ive had in DFW. Truly a coffee lovers dream.

The coffee is bitter and delicious. Its a little sour at first, but its not too strong so its ok. Good atmosphere. Gelato looks delicious, but a little expensive... The clerk is an old man and not very friendly, but he does his best.

The staff took great care of us. The gelato hit the spot. My latte was perfect. It was good to see the employees talking and enjoying each others company. They worked as a team. It made the atmosphere comfortable, welcoming and fun.

It s best to think of this as a coffeehouse first, and gelato second as their espresso/coffee is the best I ve found anywhere in DFW. I go to other shops and always end up right back at Epic Gelato. Staff and owner are wonderful as well!

It s 850pm, sign on the door says they close at 9pm, and I was basically pushed out of the door by the teenage girls running the store tonight. When I came in at 8pm, an hour before they closed, one employee was sitting cross-legged on the counter, the other made sure I knew they closed at 9pm. Every customer who came in after me was told the store was about to close , even though there was 30-45 minutes left before closing. Fifteen minutes before the shop closed, they started turning away customers completely. They also sprayed down every table and began mopping the floors and stacking chairs 20 minutes BEFORE closing. I m embarrassed for the owners of this store and am posting this review so they will know what s going on and be able to make changes for the improvement of their business.

Epic gelato is a nice place to go grab a coffee or get some gelati (Italian ice cream). Its run by kids and theyre usually friendly. Its a little bit on the expensive side but when its not so packed its almost worth it.

Been trying to find the best coffee place in Flower Mound. I think this just qualified! Great coffee and cute atmosphere! They even have protein snacks that can even be substituted as a meal to go with your coffee.

Do you like amazing coffee? Do you like homemade treats? Do you like gelato? Then this is the place for you. Next time you are in the Lakeside area and think about pulling into that Starbucks line do yourself a favor and go a few buildings down and see the people at Epic Gelato. Pro tip, get there early so you can snag up one of their massive kolache.

Our family has gone here for a couple of years and the gelato and service was great but last week on an early Friday evening I was surprised how filthy the place was and only one person was working. The rug on the floor is so ragged and stained. Dust is so thick on the furniture. The furniture is torn up. I no sooner sat down to eat my gelato and saw a huge bug on my gelato! I dropped it! The young worker said they were supposed to spray for bugs that night and fixed me another. I felt so sorry for her having to do everything by herself. Who is supposed to clean the place? They probably can t hire anyone to clean the place. I was so disappointed.
