UPDATE - Still fantastic! My Hot Hickory Burger and Buffalo Mac & Cheese were amazing and Kechaun was a great server. Jakes does it right! First time there, but it wont be the last! Fantastic food (Killer Burgers, Chicken Fried Bacon, Loaded Tots - need I say more?), wonderful atmosphere and my server (Rachel) was so nice and did such a great job! Nothing but good things to say about Jakes! Well done!

The 5 stars always to their stellar customer service, this time we were served by Anne , always positive , smiling and checking on how its going. Hats off to her. The food we tasted were the jalapeno cap burger, my sons favorite, the Swiss cheese and mushroom burger, sweet potato fries, churros, fries and chips n queso. The burgers always are tasty and really nicely seasoned. Both of them were awesome. The fries were good, the only thing that left a bad taste was the chips , they were not fresh this time and were stale. A will return again place .

Hot and hungry. The food was delicious. Cobb salad was very well done with lots of goodies. Hayleigh was friendly, knowledgeable, and engaged in conversation. Made us feel welcome. Terrific service. The restaurant was clean. They say you can tell the managements eye for detail by the cleanliness of the restrooms. It was flawless. Been to Jake s in Dallas many times. Nice to see they can run multiple units with the same quality of food and service.

We eat at Jakes regularly, the burgers are good and we usually have great service. Until last night. They were busy but had open tables so we were seated immediately. After a few minutes our waiter came and took our drink order. 5 minutes later he brought our drinks, water. My wife and I each ordered a burger and we splitan order of fries. We also asked to order a third burger to go on a separate ticket. It was at least 20 minutes before we hit our food. Not once did we see our waiter. We finished our burgers and fries and waited and waited and waited. After a full 15 minutes of waiting my wife got up and tracked down our waiter. A few minutes later he brought our to go order. Then he brought the check, not split like we asked. Again we had to chase him down to pay. He wasnt hard to find, he was always standing around talking. If Jakes doesnt get better service than that were done.

Being a person that grew up in the service industry, I have very high expectations. I visited this location for lunch and Rachel knocked it out of the park! She ran from the floor, to the cocktail, to the bar and didn t miss a beat. We didn t even have to wait to get our check. Kudos to you Rachel for being so amazing

It was ok. The burger was 3 stars. The tots were cooked perfectly and the people were very nice. That s why I m giving it the extra star. I won t go back, but the people were fantastic. I really appreciate the customer service. Deserves to be recognized! Why was the burger only 3 stars? The bun was dry, very tall, and covered in poppy seeds. I don t mind the seeds that much, but the tall, dry bun was a taste killer. It might have been a one-off, but the person I was with said theirs was average too.

Went to Jake s Burgers on a monday evening. No one was there when I arrived and my party filled up the restaurant. I ordered a normal plain cheeseburger and it came out bright pink, practically still mooing. After complaining to the employees about my food, my party proceeded to order a few beverages. While watching the DALLAS MAVERICKS in the NBA finals, we waited nearly an hour for our drinks. After receiving our drinks, we were told we were being too loud and were cut off without any prior warning. We continued to finish our drinks and food while being rushed to pay and leave. This was BY FAR the worst restaurant experience of my life, I would NOT recommend coming here for food or drinks. Horrible idea.

I recently visited Jakes Burgers with some friends, eager to watch the rare NBA Finals game featuring the Dallas Mavericks. We were enjoying the game and our beers when, out of nowhere, the staff cut us off from drinking. We were shocked as we were simply having a good time and responsibly enjoying the game. When we approached the management to understand why we were cut off, they were rude and dismissive, providing no reasonable explanation. Their attitude was unprofessional and their handling of the situation was appalling. It was clear they had no interest in ensuring a pleasant experience for their customers. The mismanagement and poor customer service at Jakes Burgers completely ruined what should have been an enjoyable evening. I hope they address these issues, but until then, I cant recommend this place for watching important games or enjoying a night out with friends.

Tonight my group and I were discriminated against by the staff here at Jakes Burgers and no beer. We wanted to get a chance to experience a Mavericks final game which comes around every so often, but we were cut off for supposedly enjoying ourselves too much. We were left no warning and immediately cut off after 1 beer. Its comes a shocker as you have 4 customers in your establisment and a party of 9 comes in and you decide you dont want money anymore. On top of that, the mushroom swiss burger looked and tasted like a mix of mulch and dog feces. Burgers beer and atmosphere, more like burgers no beer and *insert derogatory word* atmosphere. Save your time, god awful food and disgusting service.

I am writing to express my disappointment with the recent experience I had at your establishment. As a frequent visitor to sports bars, I was looking forward to an enjoyable evening cheering on my team, the Mavericks, in their final game. However, the events that transpired were quite disheartening. Our group of nine was being served by a new server on her first day, which we completely understand and have no issue with. Unfortunately, the situation took a negative turn when the manager made an executive decision to cut off our table after only a beer or two each, despite most of us having ordered meals. This decision seemed to be solely based on the fact that we were vocally supporting our team. As a sports bar, it is expected that patrons would cheer and show enthusiasm for their teams. Our behavior was entirely within the norms of what one would expect in such an environment. Moreover, we were the only patrons dining at the time, which made the decision even more perplexing and unwarranted. This experience significantly dampened our evening and has left a lasting negative impression. I believe that a sports bar should foster an atmosphere where fans can enjoy the game and support their teams without facing undue restrictions. I hope you will take this feedback into consideration to improve the experience for future patrons. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

Do not recommend this location. Friday night every table empty except 5 tables outside and it was a 20 min wait. Didn t take our name down and forgot how long we had been waiting and asked I forgot how long you have been waiting . Found us a table outside that had previous food, silverware, napkins and other various items on the ground. I understand things get busy and would understand if it s during the week but it s FRIDAY! After we were seated the hostess gave us attitude after we asked for them to sweep up the mess. We decided to leave. Spoke to the Manager and he had nothing to say about it besides just sorry. Weve been visiting this place pretty regularly for a long time and while it has become pretty hit or miss, its been all miss recently. The service is incredibly poor and while the food is pretty good and consistent, its difficult to get it through the awful service. Went a few weeks ago and ordered a customization to the kids meal and plain buns for the adults. All three meals came out incorrect and rather than replace or try to make it right, the manager came over and argued with us that we could not have ordered our meals the way our server took it from us. Incredibly frustrating to have to compromise with a hard headed customer service professional, but whatever good help is hard to get everywhere so we let it go. Went again this evening on a Saturday night and the place was over half empty at 6:45. We were sat right away and promptly ignored. Three tables were sat after us and served their drinks without anyone coming to us for quite some time; the server even apologized to the table next to us for the delay. Multiple looks from servers, were told multiple times someone would be right with us. Im hoping its just that the manager recognized us and chose to be immature and not serve us, because customer service actually being that bad is incomprehensible. We left after about 20 minutes.

Blue cheese burger had runny blue cheese sauce instead of just cheese. It was so sloppy and messy it was impossible to eat. Very disappointing. The nachos were just melted cheese on the top of a pile of chips with a few jalapeños. The cheese was cold very quickly which made it hard and chewy.

Very very bad experience today at the Jakes in Flower Mound. The manager was very rude and our waitress Lina threw our food at us. It was almost as if they were waiting to be mean to someone. They were argumentative, impolite, unprofessional and very disrespectful in front of our young child. Did not get the managers name but he wasnt an older Gentleman, he had dark hair. Then said he was going to comp our food and still charged us with everything. I would go to another Jakes. You would just bother these servers if you went here. Rachel, the waitress seems to get our table every time and makes each interaction a real treat. Shes a great employee and makes us feel welcome every time. Second update. Go here if you love standing at the host podium. The dining room was half empty a little before 12:00 on October 22nd which I thought was odd because of it being game day. I had walked in with my two toddlers, and stood waiting behind what seemed like another party waiting to be seated. I ordered a Texas Frito Chili Burger with onion rings. The burger was delicious and very tasty, but the onion rings were super oily and with little batter. My friend ordered a Mushroom Swiss burger with sweet potato fries and marshmallow sauce. Her burger meat was dry but the fries were like a tasty dessert.

Hard to equate this to other places, this is a breakfast and hamburger kind of place. We went for the brunch, and food was your basic brunch. Our wait was very good, as was the food. If you want a fancy brunch place, this isn t it. But if you want good basic food with a sports bar feeling, this is your place.

We had a wonderful experience on Sunday July 16th. We came in the evening just to grab a drink and were advised by the hostess they were short staffed so food would probably take a little longer. We didnt need to order food so that was fine with us. But appreciated the notice anyway, having worked in the industry I can relate to being short handed. We sat at the bar and Maria was running around like crazy, keeping drinks going, and even had a table seated outside on the patio that she was checking on. All with a smile and maintaining professionalism on what must have been an absolute crazy night. We are repeat customers, but will definitely be back!

Update: Yay, they have a kids meal w. Drink. This location has picked up. Great atmosphere. Highly recommend. I love their burger special of the month. This one is the ranch burger, w. BBQ. Had a great lunch today at Jakes Great atmosphere and very pleasant staff. Ordered the country fried ribeye and egg, cinna-pig, and loaded nachos. Top it off with a morning bloody Mary. Shout out to Mrs Kendra, she is awesome. Everything was tasty and yummy.

Not totally what I expected but nice. Fairly decent food but a smidge pricey. Drinks werent great but the food was good. Staff left something to be desired. Tending to everyone but my party it seemed. Our order was slow to be taken and even slower to arrive. Id be willing to give it another shot.

Had no wait on a Friday happy hour. Server was Harrison who was a delightfully positive server with enthusiasm to make this a great experience! The place is very clean and the fried mushrooms perfect in every way. You get over a dozen, which are not from frozen and tasted great! Perfect amount of cooking and breading which is on the lighter side not an solidly encased mushroom so perfect! The hamburger buns were homemade and delicious in every way texture, taste and size. With that said the burger was smaller than the bun but tasty and cooked right. Since the mushrooms were a 6 and the service was a six, I had to give them a little leeway on the SIZE not taste of the burger. Cause the taste of the burger was good. Overall we loved the atmosphere, the service and food!

Cheese curds and Hatch Ranch were delicious. The burgers were good. French Fries were disappointing, they looked and tasted like they were recycled and re-fried. Waitress was super nice. BUT... The place was not that busy and it took 4EVER to get our food. There were many flies bothering.

I love this place!!! I was so sad when the Jakes near my home closed in Addison years ago, but when I started working in Flower Mound-I found them right across the street. I m here 2, sometimes 3 times a week. The seasonal menus are my faves right now, I have the Queso burger on heavy rotation. And Morgan, at the bar is absolutely amazing. It s about more than serving a drink with her-she really makes a connection with all patrons. This place is great!!

First time at Jake s and we absolutely loved it! We were greeted at the door and sat immediately. Our waitress was Taylor and she was fantastic from start to finish. I loved the chicken fried chicken with gravy and Texas toast and my husband devoured his Hot Hickory burger. I d highly recommend getting the fried green bean appetizer and checking out the beer menu. Really cool place even for small kids as they ve got a nice kids menu with shakes and everything. Will definitely be back.

A pretty nice spot for burgers! I loved the wood work atmosphere. The bar, it has a cool 50/50 indoor and outdoor setup. One of the managers name sean I think, with glasses was very nice and asked how I was doing. Always great to see leadership talking to customers.

First time at Jakes and had never been so ready to devour a burger and fries!! That being said I was awaiting my wifes return with such items.(mind you she had never been here either) I rush to open the bag hoping to enjoy that smell of fresh fried crisp taters, at that point I turned to my wife and said, no fries? She then proceeds to fumble through the 2 bags that came with her order She then turns to me and says well I cant believe fries did not come with the order!! I guess thats just an $11 Burger. Moral of the story is , its pricey! I mean food is good be ready To pay a lot more if you want fries with that shake!

If I could Id give 0 stars. It was a favorite years ago but has really fallen off. A few trips ago my grilled chicken sandwich was raw and I had to send it back( no offered discount). Next trip had horrible service and had to get up to get my own drinks. Tonight 40 minutes after placing our order we were told it was never put in. I will never give the Flower Mound location another chance.
