Had a wonderful splurge dinner with friends. The atmosphere was modern, restrained and quiet. Service was friendly, helpful and fun. (A couple dishes were served without explanation or even introduction- a mistake in my view.). The focaccia was otherworldly- never had better. The meatballs were utterly amazing - highlight of the meal. The cocktails were inventive and delicious. Unfortunately, we peaked early. The little neck clam pasta was very good as well- light and tasty with skillful prep of the clams. The bolognese was somewhat odd - good but different. Unfortunately, the chicken Parmesan was forgettable- not worth the price and not worthy of this restaurant. The eggplant was overly spicy - completely taking over the flavor profile. Finally the striped bass was very smoky - to be expected from the description but again a dominant flavor that didn t fit the fish in our opinion. Desserts of tiramisu and olive oil cake were yummy. Overall, a delicious dinner but I would order differently next time.

They say family style...but portions are small so a larger group of 8-10 will have to order several courses to adequately share. And all the offerings for the 4 courses are $$$$. All tasty but way overpriced IMO.

Loved this!! Discovered this gem was owned by the same lady that owns Southern Roots and immediately added it to my go to list. We LOVED it. Brett was our server and he was super fun and attentive. Taylor provided our amazing drinks from the bar and even stopped to chat for a few. We are coming back and getting several orders of meatballs and foccacia Also highly recommend the olive oil cake!

Great new restaurant from the folks at Roots down the street. A different take on Italian food and offers unique offerings. This is not your spaghetti and meat sauce place. The white lasagna and tiramisu were highlights. We also enjoyed the melon and prosciutto and croquettes for appetizers.

Initially I was not very excited about the restaurant choice a friend made due to the prices I was seeing on the menu ( me being new to Dallas and clearly not watching enough TV.) But I have to say, each dish that we shared was some of the best food that I ve ever tasted. No idea how each dish ended up with the flavors that they did. Even the mocktails (yay pregnancy) were worth getting! Googled the restaurant/chef afterwards to learn I m definitely late to the party. I left full and happy, having found my new (okay admittedly first) favorite chef! Highly recommend. (And even if you don t normally, share your food)

Dined here on Thursday 8/29. My friend and I were excited to try another Tiffany Derry restaurant. Walking in I loved the open concept and the bar area was nice. We were promptly sat for our reservation, and just took in the vibe. Our sweet server, Maya, was very informative about the drink and food menu. We decided on some cocktails to start with. My friend had the limoncello martini and I the rosé bubbles to start off. For food we started with the focaccia (loved the roasted garlic), which was amazing! We also had the meatballs and fried mozzarella. The fried mozzarella has a spicy sausage in the middle of it, so be aware if you re sensitive. It was delicious though! We were still a little hungry, so we split the Lasagna Bianca. Let me tell you, this was the BEST dish of the night! Wow! I will definitely be back for that and the focaccia alone. We ended the night with the Olive Oil cake, and goodness, we couldn t stop devouring it even though we are full from dinner. Thank you again for Maya being the best server and the manager on duty was awesome as she checked on our table to make sure our experience was going great. Loved this place, and congratulations to another amazing restaurant from Tiffany!

Tried this out on a whim. Heard great things about this place and just had to try it out for ourselves. A few things to note up front: When making a reservation, they have a policy where they will charge you if you do not cancel 48 hours in advance but do not mention the amount. Keep that in mind. Also, they have fine print on their menus that if you pay with credit cards, you will be charged an additional 3.5%. So, pay cash if you want to avoid that additional charge. The place is very gray. Gray walls. Gray ceiling. Gray decor. Just cold and gray. Not exactly what I d expect from an Italian restaurant with a large TV showing views of the Italian countryside. Decided to start with the Suppli al Telefono: Risotto croquette, pork sausage, chicken liver, pomodoro, smoked mozzarella, and basil pesto. Cooked very well. Great flavor. Nice and crispy with creamy mozzarella in the inside. We enjoyed them very much. My SO and I decided to split three pasta dishes. We went with: Lasagna Bianca: White bolognese, sage, spinach pasta, parmesan, nutmeg. Pomodoro alla Griglia: Chitarra pasta, tomato, garlic, olive oil, basil, garlic, Pecorino Romano Bolognese: Mafaldini pasta, 6 hour braised beef, veal, and pork Lasagna Bianca - I did not care for it at all. I found it to be very salty and have way too much nutmeg. My SO thought it was pretty good. Pomodoro alla Griglia - Sauce had an amazing smoky flavor that you could tell they roasted the tomatoes over an open flame before making the sauce. Very tasty. The pasta, however, needed another 30-45 seconds of boiling. They were waaaaaay too al dente. Too chewy and doughy in the center. I couldn t finish what I had put on my plate. Bolognese - This was our favorite. Sauce cooked and seasoned perfectly. Pasta texture was amazing. All of it was delicious. Would definitely order this again. The lasagna did not do this sauce justice. My SO ordered two cocktails and enjoyed both of them. For dessert, we split the pistachio olive oil cake. It was very good and moist. No complaints about that at all. It has some things it needs to improve upon. One being teaching the servers how to pronounce the dishes properly. As an Italian, it broke my heart to hear how everything was being pronounced. The others are cook time of the chitarra pasta and seasoning of the lasagna. We would go back again but probably wouldn t be first on the list for me.

Amazing food from start to finish! We started with the prosciutto e melone, refreshing! Then we had the rabbit pasta, it was layered with flavors and rich. Usually, we dont order chicken, but the server highly recommended, so we went with it, and oh man, it was outstanding, juicy, herbal, the jus-soaked croutons! Olive oil cake as dessert didnt disappoint. After first visit, it climbed to our top 5 restaurants in DFW. The only one thing I can complain about is that they charge you a fee for using a credit card!!! Are you kidding me? Im paying over $100 a person, Im not carrying that amount of cash, and even if I would, it is ridiculous to have them charge you for that at this type of restaurant; regardless, outstanding food! Great service!

This is Chef Tiffany Derrys Italian Restaurant, Recently opened next to Roots Southern Table. Nice wine list with a good selection and a decent amount of wines by glass and cocktails (try the Rossini). Limited menu with some interesting options. Thankfully no pizzas like most Italian restaurants in Dallas! The Frito Misto veggies were nice and crisp with a very nice, spicy, Aioli. Seafood Salad was very balanced in acidity with some pickled onions (not listed on the menu). 2 Shrimps, calamari rings and some little octopus tentacles that kept us wishing for some more. The Coniglio alla Gricia was just perfect. An elevated classic. Tender braised Rabbit with perfectly cooked pasta and a perfect amount of sauce that I wanted to lick off the plate! The only tempting Secondi was the whole Branzino. We debated it since it is farmed which we dont normally do. It was PERFECTLY grilled and seasoned. Served whole and cleaned at the table (but I did ours myself which impressed our attentive, experienced, waiter Taylor.) We finished with an exquisite, moist, Olive Oil cake. Overall a very nice experience as was Roots, but I have to say it again: We expect more exceptional, interesting, different, dishes from Celebrity Chefs such as Tiffany, Tesar (Knife) and Curtis (Georgie) not just the same old Chicken, Pork Chop and Steak plates that all restaurants have

Wow! What a meal! Chef Tiffany Derry truly knocked it out of the park with her stellar dishes. Theres not a single thing we didnt love! We got the fritto misto, fried mozzarella, lasagna bianca and rabbit bolognese. Truly a 10/10 meal. Where this loses marks for me, unfortunately, is with the service and ambience. For how incredible the food is, the decor is truly a shame! My husband and I were discussing how the abandoned space at Homewood would be a gorgeous and worthy home for food of this caliber. Instead, its impossibly boring and gray and frankly, cheaply done. I have to assume this is the fault of the business partner and not the chef herself. So so unfortunate. As for the service, our server seemed newer, unseasoned, and very nervous, which made things feel awkward at times. I totally understand and respect upselling at restaurants, but his attempt unfortunately fell flat and made us feel uncomfortable, more than anything. Definitely not something a little training and time couldnt fix, but its still something that impacted our experience. All in all, the food is incredible and not to be missed, but the rest left a lot to be desired. I do plan on returning and hope some of the kinks will be worked out by then!

We had to wait 30+ mins to get the table, although we had made a reservation. We sat at the bar, got a couple of drinks, and they were below average. Man what can I say about this place other than how delicious and hospitable they were. My wife and I liked how it wasnt such a big menu where they value quality over quantity in their menu items. As you can see in the videos(and Im not gonna butcher the menu names as they were mostly Italian words that i was unfamiliar with) we got the seafood salad, pasta with rabbit meat, vegetables on the side, with our main entree as the porkchop. We got 2 cocktails which were pretty refreshing on the hot summer day, wife got the strawberry champagne and I had a kiwi cocktail. Atmosphere was clean, everyone was friendly, and probably the only thing I can critique was that the food was spaced out between each serving which was a tad bit long for us. But other than that highly recommend!!

July 31 2024: A colleague and I met here after work, we were not dissappointed. I ll get straight to the point Radici UNDERSTOOD the assignment!!!!!!! Food: Conchiglie alle vongole- was ok, Suppli al Telefono- superb it s a must have Brazino with grill broccolini- succulent, seasoned to perfection another must have Wine- Cocktails- a variety, all were good Service- Chance is the most professional, personable and knowledgeable waiter. He was engaging and entertaining, honestly he along with the side of broccolini made the evening enjoyable. He will be my go to person, upon request! Chef Ivana- is beautiful, talented demur demeanor and was gracious with her time and attention. Front of the house mgr Josh- also engaging, and stylish with his teal color Gucci belt I like it Josh. As we were leaving, he said goodnight Mrs G a small yet thoughtful detail for him to remember it made me chuckle. A perfect way to conclude the evening, indeed. Atmosphere: for a Thursday evening after 7 it was laid back, quiet just a nice evening. I loved it, my husband enjoyed the leftover brazino, so we will be back sooner than later. Mrs G

I love roots and am a huge Tiffany derry fan but the food and service was sooo meh. It s not hard to get decent made pasta in Dallas, but this wasn t worth it at all and it s not cheap either. We got four different pasta dishes, three appetizers, two entrees and NONE of it was exceptional or worth remembering. Food was well seasoned but otherwise I was blown away by how unremarkable everything we had was. I know food costs are sky rocketing but if you re going to spend $20+ for a pasta dish that s slightly smaller than an entree portion, it should taste better than you can make at home. Bolognese was, I think, the worst I ve had in a restaurant setting and everything else was incredibly mediocre. Service was disorganized and they encourage you to get four courses but rush you into finishing every course asap to bring you new silverware, etc. (if you need silverware turnover that quickly, buy more or don t serve two forks, knife and spoon with every course for all four people dining? Seems excessive?) they literally tried to take my husbands chicken from him THREE times. I asked for a dessert menu and the waiter said I m not allowed until I take all your entrees away . I just feel like if someone wants a menu to order more food in a restaurant just bring it? Anyway, sorry to leave a negative review but it was just so so below average that it needs to known. Know it s new so maybe things will change.

We have gone to Roots several times which is also run by chef Tiffany and have always been left in wonder, thus when we saw she had just opened Radici we went with high hopes. We started with some drinks, the limoncello martini and arbusto. Be aware we did find the cocktails to be very sweet and ended up simply sipping on them throughout the night. We opted on some wine to pair with the meals which went quite well. We started with the seafood salad and the polpette. The seafood salad was light, and fresh, perfect for a hot summer day and wuite a large portion size that could easily be split. The polpette was a goey filled goodness however we did find it to be salty and somewhat heavy for an antipasti. For our mains we went with the coniglio alla gricia and the bolognese. The presentation was beautiful and the pasta was cooked to perfection however we again found it somewhat salty and heavy. The flavors were plentiful and satisfying and the portion sizes are quite filling. But we found ourselves thinking we could have easily split an antipasti and primi and been content. We closed off with the tiramisu which was definitely a must and I would highly recommend leaving room for desert. The staff were beyond kind and friendly however we did find the service to be lacking and disorganized. Overall the experience was pleasant however considering the price point we did find ourselves somewhat dissapointed with the service and food. My hope is this is all down to opening week hic ups and that Radicis will find itself wowing us all just as Roots has. I will be back in the future to experience Radici once more.

As Top Chef enthusiasts and foodies through and through, my husband and I were really excited to try Tiffany s newest restaurant - particularly because DFW is not exactly known to have the best Italian food. Everything we had at Radici was great, but honestly? The chopped salad and bread were the stars of the show. We also had a couple of pasta dishes that did not disappoint, but we can t stop talking about the salad and bread which I was not expecting. The reason for the 4-star rating, rather than 5, is the service. While we were taken care of without question, the overall service vibe was a bit chaotic? It felt like there were just as many employees in the dining room as guests, with people walking quickly all around you, lots of noise, and maybe TOO many table touches. It made us feel rushed, which is not the goal of a dinner with that kind of price tag.

My husband and I had date night at Radici. We ve been to Roots and that didn t disappoint. Both have the same atmosphere. I love the sophisticated yet simple Italian recipes. We felt the ingredients were treated with respect and uncomplicated. We also enjoyed the company and attentiveness from our server Tay/Taylor . It was a busy Saturday evening and we never felt rushed. Also the way he speaks about the food, you can tell it s from the heart. What I also noticed while sipping on my lovely well balanced cocktail, was how well the staff treated each other and observed team work at its finest. Now to the food, we started off with two antipastis (Fritto Misto & prosciutto e melone). One dish is fried with a warming chipotle sauce while the other was a refreshing classic melon salad. Eating family style is encouraged, which we normally do anyway. For the primi course, we had the rigatoni upon Tay s recommendations paired with a glass of Zinfandel. Last but not least, we decided to enjoy a whole branzino with a side of white beans in olive oil. What a light and hearty meal at the same time. For dessert we had the pistachio cake with orange marmalade. During our dining experience, Chef Tiffany came by to ask us how everything was. I did mention to her that I have followed her career since the beginning and extremely elated that she is a Texan. It made the experience that much more wonderful. In general, everyone there is gracious and what struck me was the dress code. On the website it states, simply come as you are . We were running late and didn t get a chance to stop at home to change. It truly is all about the food here. The best part of the experience is how humble Chef T is and how she has created this humble and inclusive dining experience for all. Sometimes it gets old going to pretentious restaurants and you always have to be on your best bahavior. This is a place where you can be yourself. It s all about the food and the people there that make it extra special no matter what the occasion is. I came in with my pajama-sequel outfit and old navy slides. I walked out feeling not only satisfied, but as though I just came back from a one week vacation in Europe.

I really wanted to love this newest Tiffany Derry restaurant. Started off with the fried mozzarella and meatballs. The mozzarella was a crisp, fresh mozz slab, with a little lemon zest which was nice; but the pesto was nothing more than chopped up sundried tomatoes, no garlic, not pine nut, no salt. This ended up just being basic fried cheese. The meatballs were fluffy. Theres no other way to describe them. Incredibly light, a mix of beef, pork and veal smothered in red sauce. Not a lot of seasoning in the meatballs; Im now wondering if they made an emulsion to get this fluffiness. Main course was clams and pasta. Good flavor but nothing wow about it. Why they couldnt put a piece or two of wood toasted bread to dip into the juice is beyond me. Second was the eggplant involtini...basically 3 rolled slices of eggplant with a ricotta filling. Again, it was good, it was smothered in sauce, but nothing stellar. Prices are on the high end; and for what I spent, Id rather go to Lucias and get a great meal rather than a good meal.

The foccaccia was delicious and the melon salad was such a delicious combination of flavors...we cleaned those plates. Then for the pasta course we had the rigatoni amatriciana. I am a pasta addict and order it everywhere I go...this was hands down the most delicious pasta sauce Ive ever had in my life. I CLEANEDDDD that plate and still wanted more. I wanted to lick the bowl! For our protein course we had the chicken with the white bean side. The chicken was sooo juicy and flavorful. The white bean side was highly, highly recommended by the staff. I was skeptical but they hyped it up so much...believe the hype. It was salty, cheesy, savory...oh my gosh I could eat it like soup with bread. It was an incredible meal and I cant wait to be back!!! Tiffany Derry is a genius.

We wanted to try Radici on a layover in Dallas. We were prepared for some bumps as they ve only been open a week and there were no bumps. Service was friendly and efficient (and our server even had a 12 seat party along with us to manage and she aced it). The menu was familiar but unique so had some great dishes. Rarely see rabbit pasta on a menu and it was outstanding along with the clam pasta sauce as amazing. We split the chicken for dinner which was a hearty portion and reminded us of a favorite chicken dish at Zuni Cafe in San Francisco. While I haven t yet mentioned the starters, their unique take on fried mozzarella was delicious and the server suggested the seafood salad and it was great too. Super fresh and well seasoned. Highly recommend and what a great addition to the Dallas scene. PS don t skip dessert. The blood orange olive oil cake was a delicious last bite.

First and foremost, Chef Tiffany Derry is a lovely person and one of the kindest and most talented Chef s in the world. Secondly, as with Roots the service and food are without compare. Radici staff operate like a seamless dance troupe choreographed to perfection. The chef running the kitchen tonight while we dined is destined for greatness in her own right. Her execution of Chef Derry s vision was flawless and each course was timed and served with precision. You can (and I have) spend five times as much for a world class meal, but I do not think you will find any meal more enjoyable. The thoughtfulness in Chef Derry s menu and composition is what impresses me the most. The lasagna Blanca for example is in and of itself a perfect dish that alone could justify a trip to Radici. It is like a perfect note, beautiful clarion call, but when it is placed in order with antipasti that compliments and balances it and followed by a delicious secondi it becomes an integral part of a culinary symphony! I enjoy eating and I could never replicate my favorite dishes anymore than I could sit down and paint the Mona Lisa, but I can recognize greatness when I experience it and Radici is another exemplar of Chef Tiffany Derry s greatness.

Everything we tasted was delicious. The pork chop was so big we took half home, but it was so good i couldnt wait and ate the rest later that night! The broad, mostly Italian wine list is well-priced and chockablock with outstanding selections. The cocktail list is divided between Italian classics, house martinis with sidecar service, and signature drinks. Service was good and staff were friendly. Farmers Branch is becoming a DFW destination!

Chef has outdone herself with this one. Every course was fantastic. We tried the focaccia (amazing - with perfectly spreadable roasted garlic cloves), melon, lasagna, bolognese, filet, and chicken parm....it was tough to pick a favorite. Both desserts are also terrific. My husband is partial to the olive oil pistachio cake, but I thought the tiramisu paired with espresso was simply divine. Staying true to her roots (see what I did there?) you can, of course, expect generous servings and excellent service. I cant wait to bring everyone I know here!

A new winner for Chef Tiffany Derry and Tom Foley. The focaccia was so addictive, we had three servings!!! The meatballs were scrumptious. My wife had the bolognese and said it was the best she ever had. My other dinner partner had pork chops and he loved it. I had the wood-fired chicken which was extremely juicy and flavorful and so abundant I had to take a doggy bag home!! Service was on point as usual. The cocktails were awesome as well! Went yesterday, going back Thursday to try other items on the menu!! Can t wait !!

Radici is already my new favorite Italian spot! The garlic focaccia is a MUST to start with, it was the best I ve had in DFW. We also started with the Prosciutto e Melone which was so yummy. We tried the Bolognese and the Coniglio alla Griglia (rabbit) dish and both were incredible. For dessert, we had the tiramisu and I m still dreaming about it. For drinks, we each had an aperol spritz to start and it was light and refreshing, then our server helped us decide on the perfect glass of wine to have with our dinner. The service was fantastic, I loved the open kitchen concept, and it was overall a great vibe. I m already planning my next visit to try the Seafood Salad and the Lasagne!
