The frozen custard was good, but the wait time in the drive through was embarrassingly bad - over 20 minutes. I shut off my engine a few times to keep from burning up gasoline unnecessarily. We were going to give 2 stars, but then we found one of our frozen custards had a cracked cup, and it made a horrible mess. Upgraded this review later because management responded and tried to set the matter straight.

I highly recommend not going to this Freddy s. The first time we came there was no Custard. However, my most recent time was much worse, we just finished going through drive through at Freddy s and they asked us to pull forward for our custard, but they lost our order and we waited outside for atleast 15 min or more until I finally went in and asked for my order and then waited again for them to bring it out. Also, they were not busy, barely anybody going through drive through or in the store. They also forgot to give us our straws and spoons.

Ordered four sundaes and regular fries. Got the fries and had to pull up to wait on the ice cream. After a very long wait, a girl came out and handed us four very melted sundaes with no spoons!! How are they already melted unless they were just sitting there? They had one more customer after us so it wasnt busy. Had to go back to get spoons. Out of the two turtle sundaes we had, one had about four pecans on it and the other had just pecan dust. Take your money to Andys instead!! Youll be much happier.

Me and my husband and kids ordered $45 worth of food. All of our burgers were salty as heck. We got cheese fries to share and the cashier rung it as replacement for my husband s meal. The fries were cold when we got them so we didn t even eat them and i believe we were charged to dine-in and wasnt even asked.

This was absolutely the worst time I have ever eaten at a Freddy s. The employees weren t friendly.The dining room was semi clean so I decided to take out instead. This location used to be decent. Our last several orders have been unacceptable and today was the worst. We will not be ordering again. We ordered for pick up and the burgers were crumbling, the cheese is weird and stringy, they didnt give us any of the sauce we ordered, didnt give us the correct sizes, the water had no ice in it, the buns were wet and disintegration. We took it back and what we did get wasnt much better. I have never taken food back to a place in my life. This was food I was unwilling to eat, it looked that bad. To have a customer take it back and give food that is still very poor is not okay. You should at least make sure its decent the second time around. The food doesnt taste fresh or quite right, either. I wont even be finishing it. I hope you can turn things around for others willing to stick around for this location.

My family wanted to grab desert at around 1030 and they close at 11 at this location. When my wife and kids and I approached the door the worker ran up to the doors and locked them in front of us. There was a family eating infront on the patio and they told us they had been asked to go eat outside with their order. This is no way to treat paying customers. If the hours of operation are until 11, why are the customers being turned away. Bad customer service, especially for the family that got there and ordered way before us and they were made to eat outside. They said they were going to call a manager. 1star given because it s the minimum.

Ive been to countless burger joints. Ive been to a few Freddys. Today, I went to THIS Freddys and made a ridiculous burger request. I want an ungodly amount of onions. Make it like you hate me. Ive made this request at so many places, and Ive been left wanting. Until today. Today, I got my ridiculous burger. I got exactly what I asked for and it was delicious. The cheese curds were gooey, salty, and amazing as always. My whole week was made in that moment I realized what theyd done. I giggled like a 12 year old and enjoyed every bite. But heres the kicker; I did this first thing in the morning. I literally walked in as they were unlocking the door. Jalisha, Xavionne, Mckayla, Kayla, keep on killing it!

I had written a review and then removed but felt remiss not to share my experience on yesterday. Many places could have been an for mothers day meal, wife decides to stick with our Sunday routine of Freddy s due to both of our appreciation for a good consistent quality burger. Yesterday the mark was missed terribly and would not have been as bad if we were not the only customers in the store for about 20 minutes and my order came back wrong twice, and settling for what I got on the second time getting it back. We waited 15 min for replacement of fries. There were no napkins in the lobby and was given a disrespectful smirk by the young man who were cooking the fries when he seem not to comprehend wife asking twice for napkins and had to be directed to a stack of napkins by the drive thru. This was about 730ish. While eating decide to take note of the lobby and realized it wasn t clean and that s when my food wasn t as tasty either. Making the drive in the rain to pay premium for sub par product and service is noteworthy.

We showed up at 8:50pm in the lobby on Thursday night (tonight). Before ordering we were told we cant eat in the lobby, all orders must be takeout. I thought that seemed wrong because the door has the hours listed until 10pm. I get the impression the people working didnt want to make us our food and just tried to brush us off so we would leave. I doubt the owner would have been happy seeing what happened. Then a group of about 15 teenagers came in and ordered after us. They were getting their ice cream before us despite us ordering first.

This is a great little burger place similar to steak and shake without them actual waitresses. Their fries are a must as they are shoestring fries and they come in various forms i.e.chili cheese, covered in gravy, or regular. Their burgers are good as well, smash burgers with a nice crisp on the edges. The shakes are very good and also a must when visiting. Ive been visiting this location for a little over 5 years so basically since it was built lol. I would definitely recommend it to anyone thats hungry.

I guess it is what it is but this time around it was one of those days when the order got mixed up, the table was sticky and everything behind the counter looked messy and unkempt. Fairly busy night I ll grant them that but when it s kind of a high school hang out and friends of one of the counter people are taking the attention away from the service it s pretty obvious why the order got messed up. Personally I like to try veggie burgers when they re on the menu and unfortunately this was not one I d recommend. Not sure if it was their own recipe or what but it combined with the buns and fixings just did not taste good. Then the onion rings that finally showed up (the mix up) were overdone. Individually everyone was polite, but without good leadership they only can perform at a less than proper level. Vegetarian options: They have a veggie burger but I don t recommend it.

Sometimes I visit here on my lunch break- The last couple of times I ordered the #7 Spicy chicken combo- w/o pickle, add mayo, onion lettuce and tomato.. The sandwich was completely wrong. The owner has clearly given up on this place. Employees used to be friendly. Current staff always looks miserable and very very slow and unfriendly. Fries were over cooked and one guy with a hoodie is always there and smells like marijuana. I assume he works there with how many times he s behind the counter. But I ve never seen him working. Cleanliness is a big issue here too. Find better staff that actually care. The atmosphere is very depressing unfriendly and lazy here. Be prepared to WAIT!

Didnt even order. While waiting in line, I started looking around at the condition of the establishment and was immediately appalled. 8 customers total in the building, not busy at all. Not a single clean surface in the building. Trash on tables, trash on the floors, all trash cans overflowing. A giant soda spill on the floor just left there with no sign or anything. Half eaten food on trays sitting on the pickup counter where you pick up your food. While typing this Ive witnessed 2 customers pull napkins from the dispenser, wet them in the soda fountain just to clean off a table to have somewhere to sit. 18 open tables. Wow. Just awful. Wheres the management team??? As for my family members that DID decide to eat, disappointed to find that when they finally received their food, the order was completely wrong. Cleanliness issues. For the 45 minutes we were there nobody came out to clean. A dumped soda sat on the floor that was already spilled when we arrived, and nobody came to clean it. Have come here often, but last night was a disaster! 4 of us and not one order was correct. Waited so long for food though, decided not to bother. Then ordered sundaes and again none was correct. Staff seemed more interested in visiting with each other. Restaurant needed cleaning up, no napkins were available. They finally just opened a bundle of them and laid it on the counter. We came through the drive thru, sat for a few minutes of silence from the speaker box despite us calling out hello multiple times. We just wanted some sides so we came inside to get service. The guy working the counter was incredibly friendly and helpful with the ordering process while the drive thru employee was standing with the headset on staring blankly into the kitchen not doing anything or even moving for a few minutes and kept giving us dirty looks. Really disappointed that the last few times we ve come in there have been problems as this was one of our favorite spots to go to. But every time we ve gotten ice cream the last 3 times they ve been incorrect, the service has been extremely lacking, and the only saving grace is the food being good. Overall might consider making more of a drive to another location just for the convenience of things being friendly and correct 100%, not just from a couple of workers spread out over the last few visits.

This Freddy s used to be one our favorite family treat spots but after our experience last night, I don t know we will be coming back We arrived close to 7:40 for a quick bite and treat. Right when we walked in,I wanted to turn around based on the smell and overall feel of the place. My family convinced me to stay so we waited for about 10 minutes to order with just two other guests in front of us. There were what seemed like two employees running the front and drive through that seemed to be hustling with the remaining 4+ employees in the kitchen looking like they were confused out of their mind and could care less that there was a dining room filling up and drive through customers coming inside to check the status of their order. Not surprisingly, based on the 6 other frustrated groups awkwardly waiting in the lobby, our order took 20+ minutes-missing both kids meal fries and another side we had requested but seemed to not make it on the receipt. We didn t feel like waiting any more so just brushed it off, ate what we got and went to Mc Donald s for our ice cream treat. Two things that really bothered us about the experience 1. No employee seemed to care that there were people waiting or gave any acknowledgement to those waiting 30+ minutes ahead of us unless they came and bothered them at the counter. 2. Cleanliness. I mentioned that is smelled nasty but also, while waiting for our food, there was an employee out in the parking lot hanging in their car (assuming on break) but as he was coming in, he walked up to a car in the side parking lot that honked at him. After doing whatever he was doing there, he came in the restaurant, entered the kitchen and grabbed an ice cream cup proceeding to make orders no gloves, no washing hands. ew. There didn t seem to be any kind of leadership or management happening which is even more concerning as no one was being held accountable for efficiency or basic hygiene protocol. All this to say-we really just hope this review makes it to the right eyes because based on the super awkward and unpleasant vibe during our visit, they re looking at loosing more than just a few loyal customers. We d love to come back but not until there is an obvious change in management.

First of all my friend and I had the the patty melt combo. And my friends wasnt even fully toasted half of the bread wasnt even toasted. The overall flavor was fair I would probably go back and try again. Not to mention that they dont know how to make a Philly cheesesteak. A Philly cheesesteak has no green not mention the picture in your menu doesnt even show cheese. At first my friend and I were both going to have the Philly, but we didnt like the picture.

Freddys is awesome! The food is always so good, but today I tried a steakburger as a lettuce wrap and it was DELICIOUS. The lettuce was crisp and crunchy, the tomatoes and pickles were fresh, and the burger was, lets face it, perfection. They also have the BEST shoestring fries anywhere. We love Freddys! Updated to add: We brought three newbies to Freddys today and left with three new fans! Freddys never disappoints! A little teamwork goes a long ways. I guess the manager girl was working the drive-thru, which was focused on a lot more than the people inside. I took my daughter out for ice cream. I guess I should have checked the prices before showing up. I paid $12 for a mini shake and one large. That s insane. I would ve walked if it weren t for me not wanting to disappoint my 3 year old. I couldn t tell much difference between their shake and a frosty at Wendy s. To top it off, the experience wasn t helped out by the fact that the place was filthy and the young lady behind the counter had an attitude (obviously didn t want to be at work). The place also had a trash can outside overflowing to the point that it was blowing around in the parking lot. Won t be coming back here ever again. It s a shame people take no pride in what they do. Weve always loved the Freddies in New Braunfels, but this one in Colleyville needs cleaning. On an uncrowded lunch visit, floors were dingy & cluttered with trash, & the tray I was given at the counter had mustard and ketchup smears. Made me wonder what else wasnt washed. I ordered through Uber Eats yesterday. I upgrade a shake for $2.55 extra. I did not receive my vanilla shake. Reported with Uber and only received $5 Ubercash credit, but the cost of a regular shake replacement is $6.35 plus tax through UberEats. The credit was not enough to cover the missing item. SAFETY ISSUE I also ordered Burger and fries seasoning. When I open the cap to remove the safety seal. It was already broken and 60% unsealed. Due to that I had to discard the seasoning in the trash which costed $5.10. I reported it to UberEats . I m sure nothing will be done. The young man at the counter was very nice . This was our first time trying the food. Everything was very greasy. The large onion rings was flat, refried hard, dark brown and dry with no onions in them. We were so disappointed . We ate only half of the burger and two onion rings. Went to a Freddys for the first time in ages and Dan was so kind and a top-notch employee! He brought our food out to us and was even friendly when we asked for our custard after our meal, all while he was passing by and helping other customers!! We didnt even have to get up and go to the counter! Definitely giving credit where credit is due. The only complaint I had was that the floor near the bathroom was a little sticky, but hey as a service worker myself, i know that stuff happens so it definitely didnt ruin anything.

I mean, I could fill a salt shaker with the salt I knocked off my fingers after eating some fries.
