Went to the home show. Lots of things there. Free to enter though parking at the convention center is $10 and they only allow debit or credit cards. No cash.

Do not use Charter UP for booking a charter bus. I booked a bus through them to Cibelas in Juarez a month in advance. Three days before the event they cancelled on me. They told me that the regulations changed and buses could not cross the border. That was a lie. I was lucky and found a bus with Si El Paso Tours. Call them if you need a bus. We got our 2nd Covid dose here. Even better organized & faster than 1st time.They check if you are doing well & remind us to report any unusual reactions to the cdc website. As soon as you get up to leave after a mandatory 15 minute wait they start sanitizing your chair. Friendly nursing staff including police and military presence.

This rating is based solely on the interaction I had with this organizations sales manager, Lisa Farris. She contacted me through Craigslist to buy snowshoe props for an event, Winterfest. She requested my PayPal information and an invoice. She said shed arrange shipping from NM - that went on for over a week. How difficult is it to arrange shipping actually? Then she asked if I could take them to her friends shop across town and far from where Im located, and the friend would ship them to El Paso for her. I agreed and sent the invoice. Four days after the invoice was sent, she contacted me and was seemingly disinterested in paying a $20 fee (that she offered) for my time, for the inconvenience of holding the props for several weeks and for my gas. She then ignored the invoice, never paid it and never contacted me to cancel her order. Makes me to think she was scamming and doing something dishonest and using her employers email to do so. This one experience with this one individual makes me question the legitimacy of this whole organization.

Situated close to downtown in a new building with a beautiful old steam train engine in the window. We are in town unexpectedly and stopped in to learn about nearby sites and attractions. Nora was a wealth of information. She was friendly, knowledgeable and had lots of practical advice. On top of that she gave us a couple of bottles of water and complimentary El Paso coffee mugs!

We been doing events there for a while now, Management is absolutely horrible unethical and careless They mistreat vendors and public in general But theyll make a profit out you if they cant they just ignore you They will tow away vendors vehicles from the loading parking lot even if you bought the overpriced and absurd parking permit (that they should at least have the common decency of giving you access to free parking since we are bringing business to them and already pay to have presence at their venues) On top of that vendors have to pay 7 pr 8 dllrs for parking, overpriced and disgusting food. Sad to see bad elements managing our Civic Center this way, This reflects largely in how people from out of town see us and want to do business here

The building was nice, except for the cockroach in the bathroom and the malfunctioning water fountains (only about half of them worked). The car show was small and mostly featured low riders. Not many muscle cars.
