Manager Mandy was not helpful, including rest of staff. Went in to get library card needed to get my diploma, after begging to print it for a process they say is long which I m required ID and an address. I was told there I needed to show up 15 mins to close where the manager Mandy said I needed to show up 10 mins till closing even though when I called twice earlier the day no one said that and just said they close at 7. Very disheartening arnt library s supposed to help people become more knowledgeable not discourage people for convenience!!

Gloria, the Staff was very helpful with registration and the policy checking out books an returns. Also explained theyre fairly new and how important it is to her to have a library in this community. I really love the place lots of books fir adults n children of all ages, computer room was a plus also had books in different languages i thought we needed to help with are studying a new language. Thanks for your help we checked a few books an definitely will be back for more in future.

A library is like a church. You arrive and connect through concentration with your inner being. The library described here is not just books, there are many services they provide to society: among many, use of computers, English and Spanish classes, citizenship classes, help with technology, etc. All in an environment of peace and tranquility

Nice library. Usually quiet, I use the computer section mainly and Ive only had one problem and it was resolved. Sometimes the employees need to work on their communication skills and manners. Overall, I really like this library.

I realized really quickly why this library is always so empty, the employees scare and push people out the door. I ve had them tell me they re closing well before closing time, they re the most unwelcoming staff I ve ever dealt with. They obviously hate what they do. Please address it, it is not fair to the community.

Horrible people to represent the public libraries. Went to make copies. Simple. They were supposed to close at 6. Arrived 12 minutes til 6. Was greeted as I walked in. Asked to make 3 copies. Would take less than 2 minutes. The young man behind the customer service desk advised me that they were closed. I pointed out that I had more than ten minutes and assured him I would need less than 2. He seemed annoyed and advised me again that they were closed. Thats fine. Next time we will go elsewhere. Service at this location has really gone down the toilet since the year began. The young ladies running the show last year were so helpful and were always willing to go out of their way. Should bring them back. I cant be the only one whos noticed the dramatic drop in standards.

This is a very nice library. It s clean. Well lit. Aisles are labeled so it s easy to find authors or books. I look forward to visiting each time I need a new book. The selection of books is good and if they don t have one that I want I put it on hold and it s transferred from another branch. The staff is great! They re so friendly and always helpful. It s just a real pleasant experience. Thank you.

There were two women working in the front working when i got there. One very helpful...a younger very kind woman who took over when her counterpart refused to help...the older one was actually hostile toward me and refused to help, even laughing sarcastically when i had forgotten something.I mean if you dislike someone based on your preconceptions work isnt the place for it.

This place was louder than a rock concert in light of their vacuous, inconsiderate staff. I wouldnt recommend anybody who is trying to study to go there. If its true that they are shutting this place down, I can really see why theyre doing so.

The facility is great, there is a separate kids room thats very helpful to keep the noise level down, a computer room all very open. As nice as it is I avoid this library as much as possible. Its only a few blocks away from me but I purposely drive to a different branch. The staff is absolutely horrible. I have only interacted with one staff member that was helpful. Everyone there sits around on their phones or talking. They completely dismiss every one there. Over requested books online that are at the branch and its taken DAYS for them to be ready for pickup.

Dazzling library, detestable staff! This library is close to my house and since Im an avid reader, this place is naturally one of my regular haunts. The well lit, open layout is complete with large tables and comfortable seats. However, the employees seem to be far too engrossed on their own tasks to assist members and even worse, they are regularly dismissive to their guests! They turn off the lights 20 minutes before close in an effort to do away with guests and expedite closing procedures. I could not even read the words on the page right in front of me! Had I been walking, I surely wouldve tripped. They also make no effort to silence loud guests or children who disturb other reading members. This could be an excellent library if only the employees made an effort to care about their guests, but unfortunately their sense of apathy is painfully apparent.

Very rude and unhelpful staff. My 8 year old son asked for help on graphic novels and they directed him to adult graphic novels. When I asked for further help they said it was his fault for not asking for the juvenile section. Then we finally get to the right section and cant find the book. Books were not in alpha order by author. Such a bad experience.

Nice well maintained library. I used to come to use the computers with a guest pass but I found myself coming often so I recently decided to get a library card. The process was really easy and the staff is always very helpful. Now with the library card I can go to any library in the city of El Paso and check out anything. Love this library I never thought Id be someone who owns a library card. Im excited to start reading more mangas on a regular basis. Going to check out my first manga tomorrow.
