I went for my birthday. It was a great 1st time experience. Customer service was awesome! We were trained how to throw the axe and she came by to check on us and give me pointers when I was having a hard time hitting the target. There are also board and arcade games available to play. It s definitely a fun night out and all around experience!

We had an absolute blast at Lone Star Axe Throwing! Half of our group were first-timers, but the staff made everyone feel comfortable, and the service was perfect. The drinks were spot on, just the right balance to keep the fun going. Besides axe throwing, there are plenty of other games to keep you entertained think big dramatic Connect 4, darts, arcade games, and more. While they don t serve food, youre surrounded by fantastic restaurants all within walking distance, so youre not going to go hungry. The location is a bit far for us, but not so far that we wouldn t come back we definitely will! They were super accommodating with our group, which made the experience even better. All in all, Id highly recommend giving this place a try. Youll have a great time!

Axcellent Axperience here at this Arlington location! The staff was super friendly and helpful. Our guide explained the safety rules, demonstrated techniques, and game points. In addition to axe throwing, there was a mini arcade, shuffleboard, and huge connect four. We had a wild start, but at the end of an hour we were all Axperts! Great for group parties of all ages, or date nights. Arrive earlier than your scheduled time because although parking is free, its competitive. Several of us ended up parking a few streets over, and when I left I had two people waiting for my space.

Our group had a great time. I was expecting a hard liquor option, but only beer, wine, and malted beverages were available. I did like being able to order food from Cartel Taco Bar and have them bring it over to me. The person who gave us our tutorial had a wonderful personality, and I was pleased with the service at the counter. A great price for the amount of fun to be had.

We really enjoyed our double date here with friends! The instructor was so helpful to teach us--with first instruction and then recurring help, if she saw we were struggling. Playing 21 was the most fun after we did verses. Nice there are drinks, and other side games for while you wait! This is the second time a few of us have thrown axes and we definitely liked this establishment better than the previous place we tried.

I did axe throwing as a kid (hey, I grew up on a farm in the 80s! We had to find SOMETHING destructive to do! At least we didnt make Molotov cocktails! LOL), and didnt know it was a thing. It was a slow Tuesday, and we were the only people there when we walked in. The coach showed us what to do. I had a couple of beers, and picked up pretty much where I left off 30 plus years ago...hitting bullseyes. For the uninitiated, its not really hard to do, but its not easy either. But it is fun! Do just an hour, then extend if you like. We did an hour, and it was more time than we needed. We were ready to go when the hour was up. Its about $20-25 per person for the first hour. The 2nd hour was deeply discounted when we were there.

I checked this place out with my family last night; first time for us. The experience was amazing. We had a lot of fun throwing axes and playing games. The chefs kiss was Candice. She was helpful and patient-she showed us the ropes and did an excellent job running the place and keeping it clean. Customer service is nearly non-existent nowadays, so when I get good service, I make it known! We will be back!

Tonight, was a great end to my Beautiful wifes BIRTHDAY get together. It was great Fun, once we got the hang of it. We had great company and conversation with our church family (Victor & Marie). Went here for the first time with a group and it was a lot of fun. The staff is great, such fun people. This is a lot harder than you think, but come try it. They get pretty busy on Saturday evenings. So if youre going during that time, reserve ahead. The tacos next door are delish, gotta try the blackened chicken and barbacoa.

The experience here was top-notch! I didnt get the employees name but he was there whenever we needed him to explain something or give us tips. There are drinks available to purchase but no food. However, there is a taco bar right next door that will walk your order over to you while you are enjoying your experience. I highly recommend coming to this business!

When my husband and I travel, we look for fun unique things to do and we found this Axe Throwing online. We enjoyed our time and didnt feel rushed or judged since we didnt make half the throws! lol. But it was a great experience and this place has other things to do as well, video games, shuffle board and then relax when your arms gets tired from throwing the axe. This was a pretty fun experience. The guy working the counter was very helpful in teaching us how to throw the axes correctly and at the end he brought out a batarang (what Batman throws), which the kids loved. The only reason Im giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the wood targets were very worn. The bullseye was basically non existent, from being hit so many times, so even if we hit it our axes would fall out. Apparently, the type of wood they use is hard to find right now during Covid so they are having to reuse the boards more than usual.

We didn t know anything about this place and we left extremely informed. The location is very clean, fun environment, and FREE ARCADE GAMES!!!!! A group of us went there and it was fun. Most of them it was a first time axe throwing. This was my second time. It is way harder than it looks but fun once you get the hang of it and get the axe into the wood. They had a shuffle board which was cool and you can bring your own food of you like. This place was awesome! The throwing was picked up well by two people with very different skill sets and body types and no prior experience. This place is amazing ! We have been 2 times as of today and each time they have made it so simple to get a reservation and have been extremely friendly ! Definitely will be coming back here may become a regular thing!

Took our son here for his Bday. Rented a space for 2 hours and had a blast. The gentleman showed us how to throw the axes. He was funny and helpful. We all had a blast.

Really fun and different from the norm! You get a tiny little bit of a work-out, too! Great customer service and an expansive selection of beers! We enjoyed the other bar games on site like life size connect four, shuffleboard, etc.

Fun place to go and pricing is very reasonable. The board are normally it good condition for throwing. Good place to go if your learning how to throw.

Went for a friends birthday and we all had an awesome time. Staff was very friendly. Would defiantly go again. Would like the facility to upgrade their axes though, maybe to tomahawks.

I loved the idea of this..I saw it on the web long before I even came to texas. It it a bit harder than you think. The staff explained the rules. After a while.one gave me some more tips. The place has safety stuff set up. Like I saw someones axe get blocked by the metal fences they have so unless you dont follow the rules you shouldnt get injured. It like archery and darts combined with axes. They have a bar, shuffle board and 2 other tabletop games. However it it LOUD. I went on a Saturday evening so it was crowded and loud. (It was Saturday night so that is normal) I am making a note just letting someone who dont do well with a lot of loud noise know.

Lone Star was absolutely amazing! The environment and staff was incredible. We went for my birthday and after being there a while, I was the only one who hadnt made it on the target. One of the employees, Candace, said there was no way I was leaving without making one. With patience and reassurance she walked me through it and I eventually got it! I would come here time and time again.

We had a corporate social here and it was fantastic. Everyone had a great time. The staff were wonderful and made everything fun and easy.
