Highly recommend very nice and professional. Christina was always very nice and very patient with me everytime I would call about any questions about my EEOC case. I feel like I was really helped in each way possible as I explained my story Davie really empathized with my situation and really went above and beyond when I felt like there was no hope in my case. I was feeling very discouraged with my injuries and not being able to work. This lawfirm was always very nice and polite they gave me hope again and prepared me for my mediation. Everything was explained very well I was very happy with them being able to help me especially after struggling with everyone else telling me I did not have a case. The employer that discriminated me made me feel like it was my fault I was involved in my accident and could not perform my duties to go back to work but this law firm turned it all around and brought me justice. I though I didnt have a case, or so I was told by many. I was working at an oilfield company in Hobbs NM. and they let me go for no reason, everyone told me to let it go that there was nothing that could be done. When I looked for lawyers in my area there was none that wanted to take my case. As I previously mentioned that I was told that I didnt have enough documentation or case. I live in Hobbs NM. but I am from El Paso TX. upon looking for lawyers I came across Davie & Valdez webpage, and oh my GOD!!! John, Christina & Jael which were the once I worked with directly helped me 100% they actually didnt let me go that easy they all helped me every step of the way, there wasnt a question I didnt have that they didnt have an answer for. After two years, I won a great settlement in my lawsuit, thanks to the fine work of Roger Davie, the father of the Davie & Valdez, P.C. firm; and John Valdez, the attorney who is Mr. Davies partner and who will eventually be the senior partner in the practice since Mr. Davie, like me, has reached retirement age and is seeking to work only part-time now and eventually turn the practice over to Mr. Valdez. I must also mention the superb assistants in the office, Jael Cabellos and Christina Hameline. After interviewing me initially and determining that I had a strong case, Mr. Davie turned my case over to Mr. Valdez, who worked diligently for over two years before a final settlement was reached. Because of the settlement agreement, I am not permitted to discuss the details of my case, so as not malign the administrative officials within the governmental organization that I sued. But I can say with certainty that if you choose Davie & Valdez, P.C. to take up your case in an employment law matter, you will be pleased with both the result and the treatment you will receive during the deliberations from every member of this outstanding El Paso employment law firm. One of the pleasant surprises for me came at the very end: because Mr. Valdez focused on mental anguish rather than loss of pay in my case when I was pressured to retire from my work position on my 66th birthday to avoid an implied threat of being fired if I didnt comply with the pressure to retire, it is his thinking that I will not have any tax liability on the sum I received as part of the settlement! I will of course verify this with a tax professional when I file my taxes for 2022, but I am thrilled that I may not have to be burdened by any tax on the amount i received as part of the settlement! I had intended to work another five years beyond the minimum retirement age of 66 in my executive-level position because I had specific things I wanted to accomplish in the position that would have benefitted many people living in El Paso. When this was thwarted by my employer, I sought justice against an unjust and arbitrary decision to get rid of me because I did not agree with a new supervisor who was put over me on a matter critical to the well-being of thousands of El Pasoans. Rather, I continued to make management decisions based on the best interest of the people served by my organization. Money was never an issue for me, but justice was, and Davie & Valdez, P.C. helped me achieve some semblance of justice in the unfortunate employment situation that was thrust upon me at the end of my long career. For that, I am eternally grateful to Davie & Valdez, P.C. and because of that, I recommend them highly to any one in El Paso who is being treated unfairly in an employment situation. -- Mark Pumphrey

There are many attorneys in El Paso who tell you the same thing or just dont want to take your case for wrongful termination.
