Always wanted to go here and finally went a few years ago when i moved close to the area. It was a great experience for me and the missus! Decent sized museum- takes 1-2 hours to walkthrough. My favorites were the photo books of agents (saw some familiar people), class flags, and the shooting trophies donated by the pistoleros. Great gift store. I want to go back.

An excellent and unique museum. It is a non profit run by volunteers and takes no tax or government money. The exhibits are unique and tell compelling stories. Our country is special and people without hope at home will try almost anything to make a home in the US. The Border Patrol works hard to keep things in check and as safe as possible.

Privately funded museum that tells a very one-sided version of history, glorifying cruel and racially-biased treatment of people in crisis. Takes credit for border patrol ingenuity (read: expensive gadgets paid for with taxpayer money that essentially hunt and capture human beings) while conveniently failing to take accountability for the blatant historic and ongoing abuses of human rights committed by the agency. Can t in good conscience recommend this museum.

Nice little place with interesting information including a wall of remembrance that showed the photos of all the various border patrol who DIED in service to our country. Many More than I realized. One thing that surprised and slightly annoyed me was the presence of non-documented immigrants hanging out here as if they have any respect for the border. It was like a mockery for them to be there. Some of them were just laughing & joking around. And as a Christian it is my obligation to LOVE immigrants but the truth is some of them do NOT love us ( ie born-in- America Americans who pay taxes to make all of this possible). That makes it challenging. Help US to help You by being nice, & respectful to us , just as you want to be treated.
