This spot is one of my absolute favorites. Its a little far from where I live so I dont go often however its always a good experience. The food is worth the drive; I usually only get one of the specialty tacos. La Jolla tacos are my favorite combined with the elote side. Just typing this has me craving some right now; yes its that good! I believe the prices have increased over the years but in todays inflation and poor economy who can blame them? If you have some extra coins this place doesnt disappoint and the staff are always friendly.

The atmosphere was great. The pacífico beers were non existent cant have more that three stars without pacífico. The carne asada fries were a sad excuse for Mexican bar food at best, an embarrassment to El Paso at worst. Go to drink not to eat

Came in on Wednesday night, starving. Happy to order their double vgreen chile cheeseburger which comes with a double patty and bacon! Super excited! The food was good no double patty and they forgot the bacon. I asked the waitress about it and she stated because they were on special, we get 1 patty. I wonder if I got half the fries? Disappointed.

Bunch of liars. Especially Britney. Said I would get a discount because I paid for music. They stopped it without warning to put wrestling. No one announced it. No way to tell. Came here before while on a business trip driving through El Paso last year. The food was so good we made it a point to return . Unfortunately it was not the same experience. The meat used was not the same quality , most likely a cheaper cut of meat. It was tough not tender . The delicious fries last time were not great this time . Our server was great and very attentive. I will probably not stop by again.

Management needs training on customer service dont wait 30 minutes to serve Customer only to make sure kitchen is closed. Waitresses need to be more attentive and not just wait on the young guys begging for tips and take it out on me cause they got stiffed... and get stiffed by me for ignoring me and my wife the last 4 visits.. learn customer service. I used to love coming here and having birthdays for my wife with the dilly dilly but now Ive been skeptical

Was there 10/22/23. Very friendly staff. My spouse and I ordered the trash can Nachos. We added carne asada. Got our nachos and they didn t look appetizing at all. The carne asada on top was not cooked well. Nachos had beans, tomatoes, lettuce, jalapeños but everything was very very scarce the cheese was just on the top of the nachos. All of the middle and bottom nothing. I didn t complain then cause my spouse isn t one to do so. But for the $20. price not worth it at all. Very very disappointed on the food. I honestly don t think we will be back.

Emma was absolutely great, making sure we had everything we needed! Everyone was doing something even the manager was going around, making sure everyone was having a great time. The food was amazing. I had some great queso while there. If you have kids, their kids meals are some of the best priced anywhere. I can not wait to go back and try more of the menu!

In all fairness, I hadnt eaten at Cabo Joes since before the pandemic... man, I forgot what I was missing! Their grilled fish tacos were great! More of a Westcoast type Taco. Light cabbage a couple of slices of raw jalapeño and a light dressing. I ordered my fish tacos with a side of rice but they came out with fries. I explained to our waitress about the miscommunication and she quickly brought out a side of rice. Honestly, I think it was my fault. I didnt properly annunciate rice and she heard fries. No big deal. Im actually glad that happened, because I tried the fries and they were great! Crispy, seasoned and warm. Same with their fried pickles! Theyre not partially breaded, thin slices that you might get at other restaurants... these were way better! Their fried pickles are covered in an almost tempura type breading. Warm, crispy, yet soft of that makes any sense? We also started with the trio which is chips & dips...tostadas, chile con queso, salsa and guacamole. I need to go back more often.
