This is one of our favorite places to eat. LOVE the salsa and tostadas. We get the menudo, flautas, carnitas, and caldo de res. It is all good, but the wait to be seated and get our food takes a while, but is worth it.

Ive read and heard the menudo here is one of the best in El Paso, so my first time there, went for the menudo. -It is good. Had an odor from the tripe, and Im not of fan of that, but it still tasted good. It wasnt the best bowl of menudo Ive had, though. It took 20 minutes to get my order, and with a less than a half full dining room, in my book thats slow service. The staff does seem to work hard on getting orders out, so be patient or place your order over the phone. The price for a large menudo was $9.74 (as of 3/2022). Came with lemon , chopped onion, oregano, 2 packs of chili flakes, and an iffy piece of bread. Would I recommend? Yeah, try it out. Visit again? Ill keep it open as an alternative. Lastly, I was amused by the options for a menudo bowl: w/pork foot, only tripe, and the most ridiculous one, only hominy, which technically makes it not menudo. Parking: always full with tight spots

No stars, because we werent able to eat the food. After waiting in line for nearly 30 minutes, we got seated, after almost 40 minutes, our order was taken, then our waitress left for lunch. We left. Horrible service.

So sad to see how this place has gone down hill. It used to be run as a family establishment with great food, service and ambience. The owners took pride in their service to the customer. And the food was delicious. The new owners have changed the menu and recipes. Making the food simply horrendous. Service is slow and not attentive. And the cleanliness of the restaurant is terrible. Same name but definitely NOT same quality. After going to the B.H for over 20 years. I ll never step foot in it again.

This is probably the worst service I have ever experience. The server the lady I believe is Betsy took forever to take care of my order. I notice the price has gone up almost on double price with No refills. This place is rip off since they have new management. I definitely won t come back and I hope this place will closed out business. I really do The food has changed as well. It s not same like it was before. Worst restaurant ever!!! Oh by the way I just learn the Health Inspection came by this place on July 15 Guess what their rating is C 72/100!!!!! Hell No I m not coming to this place anymore. My wife and I have been coming to the burrito house for over 20 years. Since the new owner bought the place, the quality of the food is going down. The eggs and the smelly bacon is disgusting. The prices are ridiculous. $4.59 for ice tea. Really? WTH? Unfortunately, greed will bring this place down. Hopefully they see the effect on the business and fix it.

Is it just me or has the service gone bad at most restaurants? Food was good but service was not. We were not given tostadas yet all the other tables were served some, had to wait over 20 minutes for the maple syrup for my pancakes since the waitress disappeared and had to ask for coffee refills for the same reason. This is the 2nd restaurant that this has happened in the past 2 weeks and once again I left a tip even though it wasn t deserved.

My grandparents went to eat and a waitress treated them very badly, they had to leave after ordering some water and waiting a long time, although they did not want to charge them for the water when they decided to leave but that does not take away from the bad treatment they received and they left without eat after bad service

Recently have seen many mixed reviews about this establishment! To be fair i been coming here for over 26 years, although ownership has changed they have for the most part kept the same food menu and great tasting food ingredients. anyone whos in the restaurant industry knows this is not always an easy task! The servers are friendly and do thier best to satisfy their customers, that being said if you expect quick seating and service during peak hours you have to be patient as this place can get busy! This place is still one of my favorite food establishments in northeast el paso and will continue to visit them for some of the best menudo, burritos and breakast plates in chuco town!

Worst customer service ever. Had to chase down waitress to get essentials to eat food. From sitting down to food arriving took about 1 hour and 20 minutes. Food was cold and wrong order was put on my table. This was my first and it will be my last time coming here. Thru the whole ordeal I only saw the waitress twice not including the times I had to go find her. Restaurant was not that busy for anything of this to happen. Definitely do not recommend this stablishment.

I went to this place last Friday to enjoy the lent food. I expect to be good but i was the poor food in quality no only because they were not have what they announced but the fact that when we got the dish it was a cooked potato with black pepper ( not mashed potatoes) and white rice was smashed the worst part : price $36 for 2 person. Super fantastic. Cant go wrong with anything on the menu, its all so delicious! The prices are on par or better for the serving size. I had the Mexican combo plate and everything was so tasty. The ground beef in the taco was not bland, like ive had other places, it was incredibly flavorful. 20 out of 10 stars...love this place! Parking: Parking has always been tight (tight spaces too) when ive been...compact car friendly, but there is an empty dirt lot behind the restaurant that serves as overflow parking with plenty of space its just dusty, not pretty, and the alley is back there

There is not one thing off their menu that I dont like. Food is delish. The salsa is my favorite, although not for those that cant handle lo picoso. Their menudo is yummy, but heads up, they serve yellow lemons, not green limes. Idk whose idea that was, pero la cagaron. As a Mexican, I can say IT AINT THE SAME!! Ask anybody. The barbacoa is with the red salsa. I highly recommend the tacos de desebrada and the gorditas. Chefs kiss Parking: If you cant find a spot out front to park, there is additional parking in the rear of the establishment.

I ordered 2 burritos. Steak. I was disappointed. I asked for chile, got nothing. The meat was bland, no flavor. For $11.76, I expect more. Also I guess the place is closed for dining in. Im attached to this place cause my Ant Chayo and uncle Roman started Burrito House in the 80s they sold the place years back and I have many fond memories. Since then they have both have passed on into the Lords Kingdom. I remember working with them from early morning to late afternoon and people LOVED the chile rellenos. I sure miss those days

The food didnt have much taste to it,it all tastes the same no flavor to it.used to be better.I guess theyre just cutting corners.there flower tortillas were very good, wanted to buy some to take but the cashier said they were $1.00 each and we would have to buy a dozen. Forget that.wont be going back.

We come here when we visit the inlaws. They are very quick with seating us, Their dishes are absolutely delicious. I had the gorditas and chicken taco. I had the green chile and yummy fresh tortillas.
