Great place for queer resources and HIV testing. They have a nice brunch every weekend. They also just started an event to go with the brunch. They have queer artists and creatives come in to showcase and sell their work; everything from paintings to clothing, jewelry, and tattoo designs. Great way to support and build the community.

A great place to be your self and let your colors shine!!! Come here to learn about the local LGBTQ+ community and feel welcomed by an amazing group. There is a food pantry every morning. Activities, therapy and many other services are available.

Great people, very friendly. The pantry goes by rather quickly. A different assortment of items every week. So much more than a food pantry. Different activities posted online in the calendar section.

Where do I begin? With a disclaimer - I now work here - but two years ago, I didnt. I began my relationship with the BRC in the summer of 2018, when I was also volunteering as a coordinator for a house of hospitality for another nonprofit in town that welcomes refugees and migrants. I partnered with the Pantry Director at the BRC to feed hundreds of people weekly, and with the Executive Director to recruit, background check and train over 100 new volunteers in two weeks for the house of hospitality (cleaning, clothing sorting, meal prep and serving, transportation, etc). What I saw that summer was that the LGBTQ community of El Paso does not simply care for its own but for all humans, regardless of any other factors. I knew right then that someday I would find a way to work for this agency, and this past May, during the coronavirus pandemic, I did just that. This agency is changing the world, every single day, in every action it takes, and I am so proud to be part of that.
