First time at this comfortable, great eatery,The Junction. As crowded as it was today for brunch,I was quite impressed how we were treated. We had a good size group ,and took over most of the cozy Patio. The service was Excellent, very attentive wait staff, friendly, always present despite the crowd inside and out.Food was served pretty promt, and everything was delicious! Luis played guitar and played a variety of oldies,country,80s,Elvis,and he is outstanding! We all enjoyed his music! The guy that stayed mostly outside, was also very attentive, refilling our coffee, and helping the waitresses.I definitely encourage everyone to stop by and check this place out.I will encourage my friends to eat at this quaint, great eatery, will very good food, fair prices, and friendly employees! Nice to see 5 points go in a good direction with great restaurants, bars, and variety!

The wait was about 13 minutes for 2 of us around 1pm on a Saturday. The food was amazing, I had the chicken and waffles and my husband had the junction breakfast. Our server AJ was excellent--friendly, attentive, and gave great recommendations! Only downside was it was a bit loud but thats what happens when a restaurant is popular. We cant wait to come back!

The food was good, the service was lacking, as we were sat in the corner and forgotten about like an unwanted stepchild. Our waitress never came back to see if we needed anything else. We had to flag down other members of the wait staff multiple times just to get one refill on our drinks. We also had to ask two different members of the wait staff for our bill. Then our original waitress came and just kind of tossed our bill on the table and walked away without so much as a thank you.

Let me start out by saying this is a good place for breakfast & brunch. This was the middle of the week so they were not busy at all. They are many good reviews and as much as I wanted to give a higher star rating I couldn t. I selected the Big T s Texas Breakfast with a choice of either Pancakes, French Toast, or Waffles. I selected the pancakes- such a disappointment. Pancakes should be soft and fluffy and be able to cut with a fork. I had to use a knife and they were still tough. I m blaming this on the batter. Luckily I had two eggs over easy, bacon & toast which were good. My dining companions liked theirs except one. He chose the Breakfast Sandwich which came with your choice of Bacon, Sausage, Pulled Pork or a Chicken Breast. Figuring this was breakfast the Sausage sounded like an obvious choice. Unfortunately this was not a breakfast patty rather it was polish sausage or a kielbasa. He merely took that off and set aside since it wasn t a typical breakfast sausage patty or link. Maybe for their location of the country that s normal maybe we should have asked. The others with me chose the Breakfast Taco s and the other took The Junction Breakfast. Both enjoyed their choices. We chose to dine on the patio since it was a beautiful morning! Overall it was a positive experience and it you re local I would definitely give this a try. If are traveling and have the time in your schedule I would say give this place a try. A few little hiccups should not take away from a good place to eat.

The popularJunction Brunch House has added an evening menu. The cook prepped The Plane Jane and The Green Chile Burger with the Waffle Fries. They were good and reasonably priced. The staff greeted us and let us know it was their first night with the evening menu and were excited to serve us. Very attentive and made sure we were not missing anything. The place depicts pictures of trains to compliment the crossroads where people meet to eat. We had a peaceful meal and will be back for Brunch!

The Junction is an El Paso gem. First and foremost, the owner introduced herself, walked around with coffee, and expressed her appreciation for our business. We tasted five different plates, and each had its own unique flavors. Our server was friendly and attentive. There was live music in the outdoor seating area, which was great. I would recommend this establishment based on the quality of the food, the service, and the ambiance.

This is the saddest review I will ever write in my life. We so badly wanted to love this place. The atmosphere was so comforting and the food looked and tasted amazing. The chef in the open kitchen looks like shes working so hard and I do not want to blame her for what happened, because I dont know the details of the situation. Im more upset about how it was handled. As a rule I will never argue or be rude to anyone who works in a restaurant, I used to work as a hostess and understand how people can get so upset over small issues. I ordered the avocado toast (delicious) and as I was eating one of the last bites something cracked in my mouth, and i spit it out and it was pieces of glass. I was so embarrassed that I even had to say anything to waitress but we let her know that there was glass in my food and to make sure the kitchen knows just in case something happened that they didnt realize. She said shed go and let the kitchen and manager know. A few minutes pass and the manager then tried to take my plate but we told him to be careful since there was glass on the plate still and he laughed and took our plate. We were confused but figured he might have misheard me. The waitress comes back, and says that the manager says hes sorry and hands us this check. Im not only upset the manager didnt say that to me directly, but also that the only thing they tried to do to make the situation right was give only my meal a 10% discount. $1.20 off because there was glass in my food. Ive never had any crazy thing like glass in my food happen to me at a restaurant and I was so overwhelmed by the lack of any effort on the managers part to make this suck less. I understand it was an awkward situation for the waitress to handle herself, and Im frustrated that the manager or someone in charge didnt personally come up to me and make sure I was ok. We will never yell or argue with someone in a restaurant and it felt like they took advantage of our kindness and decency. Im sure if we got angry with someone, something would have changed, but that seems so unnecessary and unfair that its my responsibility to raise hell for someone to treat me with kindness after they made a mistake. Im now spending the rest of my day monitoring myself for symptoms relating to ingesting glass and hoping I dont have to go to the ER. Really horrible experience that I hope doesnt happen to anyone else ): and I dont feel comfortable supporting a business that handles a situation like this. If something changes we cant wait to go back.

Wanted to find a local spot. Got their pork Benedict. The eggs were really over cooked, so no creamy yolk. The pork was tender and juicy, however without that yolk, it made the apple butter on the roll under the pork too cloying. Had the eggs been cooked correctly, this would have been an amazing lunch. Normally I would t care all that much about messed up eggs, but with a Benedict it kinda ruins the whole meal. Especially with a nontraditional one.

0915 a.m. 6/08/2024 I honestly never felt Id ever have a bad thing to say about the Junction. You are usually very welcomming , today, however, the hostess was on a Supreme power trip! Initially, i was chastised for arriving alone. Then told in no uncertain terms that a single patron can ONLY sit at the bar. Who do you think you are? This policy is horrible. How can you possibly have the audacity to condone such inhospitible behavior? When you start dictating to your customers youve lost your appreciation of them. Robert Mason El Paso TX

The food at this establishment is very good. Tasty and filling. Perfect portions. The only negatives if any are that because of the popularity the wait time to not only be seated but to be served can be lengthy. I would suggest that if you want to eat here you show up early or before your hunger really kicks in so you are willing to wait. On that note the food again is quite good so I suggest you wait. The other downside is that the place (at least on the inside) is rather small and therefore crowded. You wont feel like youre in a roomy restaurant here but that also has the benefit of making it feel cozy. So its a trade off. Bottom line give it a chance. Im sure in the end you wont be disappointed.

Today my family and I went for breakfast for the first time and we were so disappointed and will not be returning. When we first arrived the hostess was very friendly and she said it would be a 25 minute wait but it was a lot shorter than that. We sat outside and the first red flag it took 10 minutes for our server to come and greet us and take our drinks; by the time he came to the table we knew what we wanted to order. We received our food within 20 mins it wasn t a long wait and everything was fresh and delicious. Overall the food was delicious and the atmosphere was nice BUT our waiter did not do a good job; he wasn t rude at all but he barely came to the table, didn t refill our drinks we literally sat for 20 mins waiting for him to return so we could get to go boxes and get the check. Another waiter ended up seeing me hold the clipboard with my card on it so he came and took it and another waiter gave us out to go boxes and offered to clear our tables. Food 10/10 but that s not enough to make us return the service was our biggest turn off.

Came to this restaurant for the first time with my daughter to celebrate Mother s Day and it was a great experience. They took a reservation for us for Mother s Day. We sat right away. The place was packed! The food was amazing and so was the service. I would love to return. I had the chicken fried steak and shared pancakes with my daughter. She got the sausage biscuit and we both loved our choices. Thank you for the wonderful service.

I stopped by for a quick drink to cool down and well their main thing was flavored coffee &/or soda and tea..but felt really disappointed coming hime expecting french toast in my box and its just Texas toast . I waited quite a bit for it and some esparagus. I guess the asparagus was $1each as a side :/ i know economy is tough but too expensive for it to not put in effort. Wheelchair accessibility: Theres a ramp and big patio . Not too much room inside if it were packed

This is our absolute favorite breakfast spot. Even though we live on the far east side and it is a 20 min drive for us it is still our first pick. The staff is amazing; they are attentive and welcoming. The restaurant is clean and cozy and the food is quick, hot, and delicious. We have been three times so far and have had chicken and waffles, chicken fried steak, chilaquiles, and eggs, toast, bacon plate. Everything is excellent but our favorite is the chicken fried steak and chilaquiles. Probably the best chicken fried steak in town.

I ate the sweet potato hash, and was not expecting it to be so good perfect amount to fill you up. The chicken fried steak was filling too, and the potatoes perfect crisp and soft inside. They have these Humilla s hot sauce. Local made and delicious, it smells like Tabasco but tastes way better and spicier. There s an address on the back of the bottle but it s made at home. No number to call and order. (Not sure if we can just go knock and buy it)

We orders biscuits and gravy and fried green tomatoes on a toast with avocado. We also ordered French toast with peach cobbler on top with grits and cheese. Already planning our next visit. Cute little corner breakfast spot with out-of-this-world food. Everything we tried was a perfect example of its category. The chipotle-honey butter biscuit was melt-in-your mouth goodness, the French toast had a perfect crispness to it while preserving a soft fluffy center, the breakfast tacos were amazing, but the country fried potatoes? I need the recipe because they were the crispiest, most flavorful potatoes Ive ever eaten and didnt even need any sauce to compliment them. My only regret is that they didnt have the flavors for their cold brew when I visited, because the Mocha Blackberry sounded phenomenal, but even black their cold brew was excellent. Must try if youre big on breakfast. Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp entrance and outdoor patio

Visited on Friday 2.9.24 for a late brunch and loved it! I had the chilaquiles verdes with grilled chicken and a side of French toast. The quality is fresh, the chilaquiles were on point and perfectly cooked eggs over easy. My BF ordered the Lean Machine and was excellent! The vibe in there is adorable, welcoming and the staff are very friendly and nice. Our girl was a bit off her game, very nice, though never came back to refill our drinks and check in on us. It happens, though it did not take away from the delicious food. I need to go back and try that hot chicken sandwich on a biscuit. Saw it at the table next to me and damn! A must try brunch spot in El Paso and super affordable prices. ¡Buen Provecho!

Unique dining experience. Something new for El Paso. Located in a home in the Five Points area. Ate a brunch of French Toast, eggs and bacon. Tasted great and was affordable. We are out on the porch outside. Nice to see some life being pumped back in to the Five Points area. I grew waiting on everyone up with Sears o Piedras and Montana for shopping and the Pershing theater for Disney movies. First visit to Junction Brunch House but it wont be my last. We were waited on by a beautiful young lady whose name escapes me now but she was busting her butt

Their country fried potatoes are perfectly golden and their chicken fried steak is comfort food glory. We are glad to have given this place a try and if you are looking for a new brunch place, put this one on your list. You will not be disappointed. We also tried their chilaquiles verdes and the flavors were divine. Their sauce has a pepita base, giving the balance of spicy, sweet, nutty and umami flavors to a borderland favorite. They are only open from morning to mid afternoon, so make your way here ASAP!

During the dozen years I spent living in Nashville, I was spoiled enjoying the biscuits at the world-famous Lovelace Cafe or from Ms. Daisy herself (they did an entire PBS special on them both). Imaging my surprise to find the best biscuit Ive had since moving back to the southwest El Paso, TX! The gravy was equally impressive with huge chunks of sausage and green chile. The two eggs on top were lightly done and ran yolk all over when poked. The owner came over and when I profusely complimented her biscuits and gravy, she let me know that while she grew up in El Paso, she lived in Chattanooga for 24 years. Even so, if she were to do this dish back there, it would still be heralded by the greatest chefs south of the Mason-Dixon line as some of the best in the land.
