We came to Flips today to enjoy the Lent menu. Calamari was awesome. Fish and chips were great. My David had a gyro and salad, which was very fresh and delicious. Weve been here a couple of weeks ago. My Italian sandwich and soup was good, and so were Davids wings. Service and atmosphere was great. Hidden treasure! Great lunch special

This is the best last bar in west Texas. This is a great place to watch sports and enjoy great food that is not like any sports bar. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable on the drinks and the owner Flip is always helpful.

Terrible service. I have been there 3 times and if the staff does not know you you do not get service. I actually walked out the second time and the third time I was served a beer and then forgot about. Very sad for me . They need to know new customers become regulars if treated fair.

Love this place. The hostesses work their butts off to accommodate your needs. Please tip them well. Dont be rude! Music is always great there. Love the cigar bar too. Always a great experience!! A must to do and enjoy a night out on the weekends

Nice place, nice atmosphere, horrible staff, It seems like they want to have no clients so they can go home early. They try to make you leave by all possible means, even if it s 10:00pm, they should really consider a change of staff, the place has a lot of potential.

This is easily one of my favorite spots in town. The Last Bar in Texas not only has great beer selection and great prices, but it provides a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is affable and attentive, and the owner makes sure he can always add something else to make Flips truly stand out from just a regular bar. I highly recommend you to experience Flips for yourself; you wont regret it.

Idk how to exactly describe this bar... Ive lived nearby my entire life. Its a little mix of everything youd find in El Paso. Its a raw taste of El Paso, Id say. Youve got some rich Country Club folk that roll through, youve got your Vaqueros, youve got your old hippies, youve got your local tough guys, youve got your cholos/cholas... Its gonna be a wild time.

Flips is a fantastic neighborhood bar, and you feel like you are in the how I met your mother show where you go with friends to the bar McLarens pub, and you meet with friends regularly, and everyone knows the bartenders and things like that. If you sit by the fire pit, you get to know new people too. I love walking to this bar from my house with my husband and meet friends there often and create new memories.

Cool little spot. Friendly spot, bar food is pretty good and the drinks are reasonably priced. My only complaint is Ive gone twice started a tab and they ALWAYS forget to give me back my credit card. I have to go the next day to pick it up. Its annoying.

Place is chill. Clean. Hopping at a time when most places are struggling to get people in the door. The crowd is diverse with youngins barely legal to folks that could be the grandparents of the former. Patio is beautiful. All around excellent. The star deduction is that the bartender rounded up to the nearest dollar, which was $.48. Not much I know. But for a $3.52 domestic, that is over 13.5% of the cost. Multiply that across multiple drinks and it can be something worth taking note of. So close out with desired tender having loose change in hand during payments or a credit card: ALWAYS asking for total prior. And yes, show staff love with tipping as you deem appropriate.

Place is meh. Dont ask for a long island tea. Depending on the time of the day, they serve it to you in a thin glass that looks like a vial. You sip 3 times on it and your done. There goes 6 bucks. You cant taste the alcohol in it either. And if the place is busy, get ready to chase the bartenders around.

This is a modern laid back establishment in our desert scape. It has a down to earth feel with a great staff and excellent bar food menu. Nice however if youre not going during happy hour its kind of expensive, having said that my dos xx was fresh and about 20 oz for 5.00 the food is ok and kind of pretentious, so all of it sounds better than it is. Why not green Chile french fries and a inexpensive taco plate (it is a bar in El Paso) free tostadas and salsa are customary in this entire region not here and the salsa is nothing to brag about. But its a nice place and decent for a drink or two on the way home. This place is sereously understaffed every time Ive been here there has been a wait longer than expected.
