This fried chicken was absolutely amazing. My boyfriend and I had the best experience here. Hector ,our waiter was very funny, friendly, helpful and had overall great customer service . He gave us excellent recommendations and we loved everything that we chose. He offered us samples of the different sauces to better decide which one we wanted for our chicken. He made sure our table was clean and politely asked if we were enjoying the food. We got two flavors of boneless chicken the first flavor being Secret Sauce and the second flavor was Gang-Jeong. Secret sauce was my favorite. The chicken is perfectly crispy and every piece is covered in the sauce of your choice. As a starter we tried the Rose Ddeok-Bokki. That was by far the best Ddeok-Bokki ive had. It had so much flavor and wasn t too spicy. I would 100% recommend this place for some good Korean fried chicken and excellent service.

Xenia made the whole experience amazing! She was so welcoming and friendly. She let us sample some sauces because we didn t really know what we wanted. We ended up with fried dumplings, kimchi fried rice, kimchi ramen, wings. The food came out a little slow but it was because someone in the kitchen had quit. It didn t matter. Everything that came out was AMAZING. Kudos to the kitchen staff who stayed. Y all killed it!!

Its the first time I visit a Korean restaurant, Ive heard good things about their Golden fried chicken. Indeed the fried chicken is delicious. Very crunchy on the outside, but, very soft on the inside, which is very good. Cooked throughly. Although very delicious, the pieces of chicken were quite small, dont know if thats how theyre suppose to be, Im going to sound ignorant, but, dont know if thats how this Korean dish is suppose to be serve, or most likely, thats how this restaurant chains sells it. The restaurant is very clean, the staff very amiable, several tvs to keep u entertained as you wait for your freshly cook meal, not just overheated like other places. Their French fries are also delicious. Parking place is small. Sorry for the long essay I just wrote.

Amazing fried chicken cooked perfectly with a great selection of sauces to choose from. Its great to have a popular chain restaurant with roots from Korea and hope it stays here for many years. We decided to try this place completely out of the blue, and it was DEFINITELY the right choice. Our server Jayla was very attentive and checked on us frequently to make sure we had full drinks and anything else we needed. The rest of the staff was very friendly as well including the manager ismael who checked on us frequently and made sure we had everything we needed including some extra silverware when I dropped mine along with another server Xenia who routinely came to check on us as well and was amazing at calming my tantrum throwing 8 year old. 10/10 would recommend I d give more than 5 stars for the service aloneee

Earlier today at 3:30pm I placed a pick up order online and when I went to check in the male server at the front told me that it would be ready in about 8 more minutes. 10+ minutes pass by and I go to ask about my order again and as I get up, I see it sitting on the counter. Mind you, other orders were getting sent out as well so I was confused why was mine that I placed ten minutes ago not prepared yet? I cannot fathom as to why he would not inform me that my order was ready when I was clearly visible sitting down at the chairs in front of the main counter. Food was room temperature by the time I arrived back home. Taste was decent but not throughly enjoyable due to its temperature. I am extremely disappointed at this service since it was my first time ever trying this restaurant. Do not recommend unless u want bad service and cold food!!!

I can t speak on the service and atmosphere because I ordered take out. As for the taste and presentation of the chicken, I d give an 8.5/10. It tastes fantastic and the breading is also really tasty. I had the galbi wings and my spouse got the spicy galbi. For the price, $16, I wouldn t order it again. As tasty as it is, the taste isn t so phenomenal it s worth $16. My main disappointment is with the ddeok-bokki. I ve had ddeok-bokki at Snowbite and Kiri Kiri many times over, both I would recommend over this place. I would never order the ddeok-bokki again. The sauce was extremely bland and the only thing it had was spice. The rice cakes themselves were too mushy. The fish cake was meh. Do not order it.

Hands down the best chicken in the RGV. Both their boneless and traditional wings are fantastic. The wings are big, I usually have left overs. The Cheeselings, secret sauce and Gagnam are my favorite. I see the complaints about it taking along time for the food to come out. It isnt anything out of the ordinary time wise and everything is made fresh. I wish they had fountain sodas and not cans, thats my only complaint.

I recently visited this Korean BBQ restaurant, and it was an exceptional experience! Isamel was a fantastic waiter very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our meal. Stopped by today and tried BBQ Chicken. The food is a bit overpriced considering that you have to purchase everything separate from the wings to the fries the drink AND the ranch. The wings were really good . The chicken is good quality and is cooked to perfection not too fried , just right. The fries however lacked some flavor/ seasoning. The service was good. Update 7/6/24 - we ate in and our service and food was fantastic! The French fries quantity was better verses take out. We tried this place out and ordered takeout for dinner. We ordered Golden chicken boneless, French fries and kimchi fried rice. We also received a small container of pickled radishes which tasted like coleslaw. The worker who took our order was polite and helpful. He let us taste a sample of Secret Sauce (this was flavorful and garlicky) and Hot & Spicy Sauce (this was good and hot, too hot to enjoy our chicken). The kimchi fried rice was delicious, with pieces of chicken and a fried egg on top. The chicken was crunchy and moist. Any constructive criticism, the French fries were good but not worth $5 for the amount received in bag. The takeout meal took about 15 minutes. We will be back to try different flavors.

1st time here. Came here based on my sons recommendation. We were greeted as soon as we walked in. Zuri was our server. She was fantastic. She brought us samples of some of the sauce for us to try as we werent sure which one to order. We decided on the honey garlic wings and the sweet potato fries. The wings were amazingly fantastic! They were crispy crunchy on the outside and very moist and tender on the inside. Its worth every penny. The fries were very good as well. I did not get to try all the flavors they have to offer. My group tried regular fried chicken, which tastes a bit gourmet compared to churchs chicken or KFC. Galbi wings tasted like bibigo galbi dumplings. The tteobokki was very tasty. I think its one of my favorites in the valley so far. Id go back to try the other flavors. Had lunch here for the first time and was very impressed. We had the Kimchi Fried Rice, Kimchi Ramen, Honey Garlic Wings and Gangnam Style Boneless Wings. Food was hot, fresh and very tasty. This place is in a really nice location, we were excited to try something new, it was really good but unfortunately we ordered the whole chicken with Caribbean Spice (was not mark with a red chile) and it was too spicy for our taste. I m sure someone who like spicy will like it. Plus one of the pieces was just bone. (Which is not their fault because it was breaded and with all the sauce on top) this are the reasons i give a 3 to the food. The wings were so crispy yet saucy; they were so delicious. If youre ready to venture out of the usual buffalo flavor, THIS is the place to go! I got the Gangnam flavored wings(9), side of rice, and sweet potato fries. It was enough to feed two, and they gave us samples if different sauces because you can only choose one sauce in the medium order of wings. The original fried chicken is the best I have had in Texas. I was stationed in Korea, nothing there was this good. Kudos to the chef for the breading recipe very light, flavorful and even the white meat is juicy. We will go again, soon. Oh and Kimchi Fried rice very good. Have come multiple times for food here and it s great! However, I couldn t help but notice when I ordered extra sauces in the past it was $1. However, this time I noticed that they charged $1 for side sauce and $2 for secret sauce. That means $3 total for one side cup of sauce. The waiter really couldn t explain it but the manager went for the it s the system he also mentioned that the $1 side sauce fee will be removed automatically and we will only pay $2 but it was not reflected on the receipt. $6 for 2 sauces is pretty crazy. Pay attention to your receipts because those extra dollars the system should have removed weren t. (We did order 2 ranch dressings) it should have been $58 if the two individual $1 fees were actually removed by the system.

This time the waitress was super nice and she was awesome but the food wasnt great at all, everything super oily and when I saw boneless I thought great white meat, well I was disappointed it was dark meat, I mean for the price of the chicken and it says on their menu only best quality of chicken used. Drove from Brownsville to this little spot in Edinburg and let me tell you they have gained another customer. Amazing customer service with polite staff. The food is so amazing, my wife and I tried several items from the menu and our server advised us of some other things not listed (dumplings and Ramen bowl) that were extremely delicious as well. I plan on going back with family and friends because this place needs to stay in business. Some of the best fried chicken and wings I have ever had here in the RGV. The establishment was very clean and restrooms were tidy and clean as well. I used to have to drive to Austin just to get Korean fried chicken. Not anymore. This is my new spot. The food was very good. We didnt get what we ordered though. Thats where the issues with service come in. The waitress who took our order didnt write anything down (and thats fine if you have a great memory). She came back to our table to ask us what we ordered again. Even after coming back to ask us our order again, she still got our order wrong. We waited 40 minutes for our food to come so when she brought the wrong order we kept it. Well that is, aside from the whole basket of wings that she brought out that we hadnt ordered at all. We sent those back. All in all, this place has great food but service definitely needs work. Came by to give this place a shot today, and it was amazing. It was my first time, and I have to give our server, Sebastien, major props for making the experience amazing. We ordered some Golden Original Boneless chicken and holy snap, some of the best Ive had! It was crisp but the chicken was juicy and cooked just right. Also ordered some Kimchi Fried Rice, and it really hit the spot. The size of the plate was enormous; enough to feed a family of 4. The kimchi was also pretty darn good. Overall, a great price for a great meal.

The food was really good but I wouldnt go back because our server was kinda shady. She didnt show us what she charged just gave us a total and showed us the screen with how much tip we wanted to leave. She could hear us talking about how it wasnt adding up and about leaving a tip but she didnt come back with a receipt or say anything so I had to ask for one. She had added gratuity to the total without letting us know. I completely understand adding gratuity but if you hear us discussing about it you can at least let us know. Also never been to a place where they add gratuity on kids but they do here.

I went for the first time, thought it was a BBQ restaurant and to my surprise it was a Korean restaurant! Never have I tasted Korean food and loved it. I got the spicy galbi. 1st off, we didnt dine in (Ive read that the service takes forever in person, so I decided to order takeout). Wow, the flavors we tried were all fantastic ! At least our order was ready at the time they specified . We chose the Secret Sauce, Gangjeong, and Galbi (I believe ), and each flavor was unique as fantastic. None of these were too spicy, quite balanced, and pleasant. Im looking forward to trying other flavors Finally dined in! It was a Sunday afternoon so it wasnt too busy. We got to sit anywhere we wanted, so that was nice. Also, one of the girls even asked me if the music was too loud, as if to say she would lower it just for me . Chicken was still fantastic and crispy, as well as the waffle fries .

Great place with authentic, rich tasting korean fried chicken. Atmosphere was great, wait was around 30 mins if you go during busy hours, but from 7pm-10pm its more like 15 mins give or take. Staff is really friendly, only issue i had was that they did not visit my table once after giving us our food during the time I was there, I had to flag a waitress down in order to pay my bill.

As a fellow chicken connoisseur, I had heard a couple friends of mine raving on about this new spot that opened up on Trenton and Sugar road. I ve tried many a chicken spots around Mcallen. But I must say this one stands head and shoulders above the rest. Could not get enough of the secret sauce wings, with spicy galbi coming in close second. The chicken sold in this establishment is second to none and I highly recommend everyone passing by to try every flavor of wings on the menu. Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. We enjoyed tremendously the delicious whole chicken piece order soon after it opened and were so happy with the generous size of each piece. We enjoyed it a second time the following month, taking my finicky sister and she loved it, too. Last month we picked up another whole chicken piece order and, sadly, the pieces were tightly packed but were much smaller. We were so disappointed. And yesterday we invited my sister again for lunch there and when the order arrived of 6 pieces, they appeared to be children s little drumsticks and tiny wings and boneless strips with only one medium size thigh. We were so hungry we ate them quickly. The order of fries was forgotten, along with the radishes we had ordered. Tiny pieces, so over priced equals no more business from us.

First time trying this place after hearing a lot about it, and it did not disappoint. The wings are fantastic, they are juicy and well seasoned and stay very crispy even after some time in the box covered in sauce. I don t know how they do it. The fried rice and ddeok bokki are also amazing, great flavor and they don t skimp on the meat in either of those dishes. Finally the boneless wings/bites are also very good, just as crispy and even more juicy since they use dark meat. The galbi, spicy galbi, honey garlic, and secret sauce flavors are all delicious, no complaints there. Overall a very good establishment that lives up to the hype.

Just had my dentist appointment and got out of work so I was starving finally decided to try this place, I had previously tried to eat here on a Friday night but it was packed, today there was only 1 table being used. The servers quickly sat me down and warned me that their food is made to order so might take a minimum of 25 minutes, to me this is a good sign let s me know they take pride in their food and it s fresh, I asked her to give me 10 minutes to look over the menu, I ve eaten at Korean bbq and chicken places in Carrollton TX, but it was my first time trying this franchise, she promptly came in 10 min and kindly asked if I needed more time, I gave her my order, the food was fresh and so flavorful and the presentation was beautiful,the rice cakes in rose flavor was my favorite!!!! The chicken was super crunchy yet soft at the same time was easy to eat with my braces.The waitress would check on me often in a polite manner and they were very kind, the restaurant was clean and so were the bathrooms. I enjoyed my meal and the atmosphere. I was surprised there was foot ball on the tv. Chopsticks were offered to me and a fork come with my food. I will definitely be dinning here again.

This restaurant has the most crispy fried chicken. Even when a sauce is added the chicken is still crispy. The Honey Garlic wing are the best but there are other sauces to try. Also had the Ddeok-bokki (fish and rice cakes) which was hot and spicy. But when the dish cooled down thats when you can really enjoy the flavor of the dish. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice with multiple TVs playing Korean music videos, cartoons for the kids, and sports. The only draw back but not a deal breaker for me was they serve can sodas with a glass of ice.

Placed an order for pick-up for the first time. Tried the honey garlic boneless and the secret sauce boneless with waffles fries. Super crunchy juicy chicken. Both sauces were great and packed with flavor but my favorite was the honey garlic. For me, the secret sauce chicken was overly sauced, which is not needed because it is already full of flavor so probably would just request lightly sauced for the boneless for next time. Great friendly service over the phone and in person. They did say it would be 30min for the order to be ready. I would also say a medium order could potentially be shared unless you are really hungry. I would come back and try the other flavors.

Went for lunch today with a friend. Ordered the lunch special boneless Secret Sauce and Soy Garlic. Both were crispy, the Soy Garlic especially so, and juicy. If you dine in you will wait for a while. We didnt mind because of the conversation. If you are coming with the intention to eat quickly, just do take out or go to another place. Personally these have been the best Korean chicken wings that Ive ever had. The other local spots are heavy, very oily, the crunch is not there, and overall dry. But these wings are perfect. Wings come out cooked to perfection, the batter is crunchy and light, the sauces are very flavorful, the best one for me personally was the honey garlic. If you dont like garlic dont choose these. The next one would be the spicy galbi. If you are not used to spicy obviously these will be spicy, but if you are used to it, it has a very small kick mostly sweet. I ordered them to go as well and they maintained their crispness, it was a 15 min drive. Servers are ok. They do their best. To be honest this was worth the wait. Again if you dont like waiting just order to go.

Our children were hungry and since we like Kiri Kiri, we decided to try this restaurant. Upon sitting down, the server said the wait would be 30-40 minutes but apps would come out quicker. We decided to order waffle fries and cheese sticks and put the order for the original chicken. The chicken came out before the fries along with the cheese sticks. My kids dug in and started to complain that the food was spicy. I dismissed their claim until my 3 year old also spat out his food. We tried it and it was spicy. The original and the fries were all spicy. The menu doesn t show a pepper sign on these dishes so I asked the server as to why they were spicy. They said that s probably how they make them. The food was good, but the experience was awful. Ended up leaving without finishing anything since the kids couldn t eat it.
