I went to take my iPhone 14 Plus to get a screen replacement, customer service was good but yall should practice on telling people about screen not being original & give all info before starting with the phone. The gentleman told me about charging 4% if paying card when he had already open up my screen & he mentioned my screen not being original till he was done. )): unfortunately, tomorrow I must go back since my phone been acting very weird. Some emojis show double, speaker isn t working good & it s heating up a lil fast here & there. //: I never had problems before but this one was very disappointing because obviously is my iPhone 14, & the screen just isn t the same. Ugh!

DO NOT take your phone here without making sure they give you an original part for your phone. My husband took my iphone and wasn t told about the part not being original. My screen started lagging and not just I saw it but my family and friends. We made sure we re not bringing business here! Went back and was told we had to pay $75 to remove the screen and it would be $120 more for the original part which honestly if we would ve been told the two different prices we would ve chosen the original to begin with. But they just assume everyone wants an aftermarket part! I see they reply to bad reviews but I don t need you to reply to mine, I don t need your input. Nothing you say will be any different than what it is! EDIT: I see you replied and again if you WOULDVE SAID IN THE BEGINNING the two different prices we would ve gotten the original part to begin with. We declined because your job and customer service was not good and we rather take our business elsewhere although you did keep the $160. So don t try to make yourself look good or professional I don t know who you re trying to fool.

I took my phone here to get the back glass replaced on my iPhone 14 Plus, they said it would take about 3 hours and took almost 3 days with it. On top of that when I went to go pick up my phone it was like this. They did such a horrible job on it now I m probably going to have to get a new phone soon because they didn t put the glass right now I need to be careful so water or anything else won t get in there. Wouldn t recommend.

Dont waste your time and money in this place. They wanted to overcharge a sum of $150 for a USB Type-c port dock board replacement job. The usb type C- part costs $8 .... I get it. Customers pay for the time and work that the repair specialist puts into it. But +$140 for labor?? I purposely came in pretending to not know what was wrong with the device to see if the salesman would bamboozle me. Sadly. I was correct. All your doing is taking off the screen , unplugging the type - c port, and replacing it with another. NO SOLDERING NEEDED. Only reason why I came back to this place was because I supported this business since they opened 7 years ago. I was one of the first 5 star reviews this place has had. I definitely wasnt charged $150 for a 10-15 min job. The salesman was mediocre. It took the salesman less than 3 minutes to come out from the back just to blur out: $149 ... Yeah .. $149 , without context. Being short without explaining properly will make anyone feel like theyre getting scammed. At least try to explain the cost or give a better price to retain a customer. I know things are tough but upselling a simple job wont help retainability and money flow for the business. Also theyre charging a +5% - 10% if you pay using card. I advice anyone to pay no more than $60 for a job like this. Better yet, look up videos on how to replace the dock board port and save yourself $140. You can thank me later.

Took my old S8+ to get the worn out battery replaced. I felt the price was okay I guess? They returned my phone to me in about a hour. My only gripe was the customer service. I was asking the gent behind the counter if he could assist me in testing the finger print and facial recognition out? I rarely use it but just wanted to make sure it was functioning before I left the store. I dont think he understood what I was asking ? There was another guy who I think was the owner? He got involved in conversation and he seemed kind of annoyed that I was asking to make sure every thing was ok with my phone? Did have a slight attitude I felt but that seems to be the norm with most businesses and people that Ive dealt with thus far in the RGV.

Fixed my ipad screen with one minor issue, the black replacement screen digitizer or whatever wasnt working, so they offered me the white and a discount, I didnt want to wait until the part came in, so I took their offer and went with the white. Their work was good and they offer a 90 day warranty, I was happy with the service and the tech who was there when I picked my ipad was very informative and knew his stuff, shout out to him (Chris) you can tell he cares about his job and that means a lot to me as a customer. Id use them again in the future and recommend you all do the same.

I brought my phone to have it fixed. I dropped my phone and the LCD is messed up. The gentleman at the store was friendly and professional and he set my expectation right when he said it ll take 30min to fix and I can wait if I want to. I waited and it took less than 30min. He gave me a 90-day warranty and was very clear on what the warranty covers. I didn t expect to pay so much. It cost me $80 and I was hoping for $50-60. But because of the customer service I was ok with the price. I hope they did a great job. I will write an updated review about the quality of work/repair in a couple of weeks. Let s see how my phone functions now that it s fixed. If you need to have your phones fixed, I still highly recommend Smart Phone Medic in Edinburg.

Its rubbish, they ruined my phone, I was just going for a screen change that cost 105 dollars. plus labor of 45 dlls. and after 24 hours the screen broke (very poor quality), apart from the fact that it was all peeled off and they told me it was because my cell phone was bent (a lie, it is in perfect condition) and when they took the screen off they scratched the entire edge. After 4 days the screen went completely black and yesterday I took it to ask for warranty and they told me... that the screen was broken (of course due to its low quality material) and that they could not make an exchange, and that they would not charge me for the labor but I would buy another screen (yes of course, another one of poor quality! of course!) the point is that my 150 dlls went to the trash in a week and along with them my cell phone....

For anyone thinking of coming to this store *BEWARE* THEY SELL STOLEN PHONES. I purchased a iphone from here after and a few weeks later TMobile disconnected my service when I called to ask why they said the phone had been reported stolen. I asked the store manager for help they said we dont cover that I had my receipt with me and they would not help me. I spent $175.00 and now I have a useless iPhone/iPod because they wont help me. Buyers beware these people buy and sell stolen phone I even have my reciept and proof with print out from TMOBILE that shows the phone is stolen. They told me to get my fat ass out of the store is what they said. People like me wast time and hard earned money on phones that thieves like you guys sell. I hope you guys know I will call news channel 5 and let them know they can tell the whole RGV what lies you guys spread and cruel treatment you guys give your valued customers. Super overpriced!!! Went in and took my sons galaxy s4 to get the charging port replaced, a sign was posted that they were not taking any debit or credit, I was told it was going to be a charge starting at $75.00. The next day I went out to Beepers Etc. on N. 23rd , not only was the job done fast they gave GREAT customer service.... I was only charged $27.00!!!

Went here on 2/17/2016. When I called them I gave him my model number and they told me I had a iPad Mini 1 and the cost to replace it with aftermarket glass was going to be $110. When I arrived at the store the associate told me that it look like I had an iPad Mini 2 and that it was going to be $120 plus tax. He looked at the model number and told me it was a Mini 2 and charge me $120 plus tax. Couple days later my wife looked at the model number on Apples website and it was a iPad Mini 1. RGV Device Doctors were charging only $80 to replace the glass. I feel like I got ripped off. I give them two stars. They did a pretty good job installing the glass. When the wife called then they offered a $10 in store credit she hung up on him. Just have trust issues with them when dealing with pricing. Wish I could have recommend them to other.

Smart Phone Medic is running an illegal scam operation. The owner Florentino Arias and his employees Pedro Hernandez & Roberto Barrera are running an illegal operation harvesting where they switch out your devices with non working ones. Dont be lied to. I bought in my iPhone 6S in which just needed a simple screen repaired. Paid them $200 for a screen replacement. One week later it dies and the entire thing does not turn on or charge. I bring it into the Apple store to get it examined. Turns out that they harvest all the internal components and replaced them Chinese knockoffs. UNBELIEVEABLE. Apple would not touch anything that has been tampered. Of course Smart Phone Medic denies all this. I ended up having to buy a new phone at full price. These guys have multiple locations. Avoid the Edinburg and McAllen Texas places just to name a few. I have read other peoples experiences where they did the same thing. They will rip you off and destroy your device with recourse. They need to be shut down.

Worst customer service ever!!! Avoid the Edinburg store at all costs. Took my sons phone to be fixed and the glass was replaced and then the camera didnt work. The glass started coming off almost immediately. After 2 weeks the glass came off completely and broke. When I took it in, the so called manager said since it was physical damage they could not fix it under warranty. Well there would not have been physical damage if the damn glass wouldnt have kept coming off! Then he says the frame of the phone was bent. It was like that when we brought it! That happened when the phone was initially dropped. Why dont you look at the phone before working on it and telling the customer if it can be fixed properly or not!? WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! Wont back up their work. $140 down the drain. Dont waste your time or money.

Just called right now 4:59pm 4/15/16 to the university location to inquire on pricing for a glass replacement on a note 2 and was rude from the beginning, talking to me like I was an idiot. I was asking him for advice because he is the expert and he was being sarcastic. I hope he reads this and changes the way he speaks to customers. . Ill take my 99.00 dollars somewhere else.

Good customer service. Friendly and helpful. Changed the broken screen to my Iphone 6 in about 10 minutes. I was surprised of how fast they work and the results were amazing! Also, I found it less expensive here than similar repair shops down tenth st in McAllen.
