Commercial says walk ins welcome I call to make sure and lady says not if youre a new patient...false advertisement Needed to go today wouldve been a paying customer. Your loss. Update: What makes you think I hadnt already gone online to add Dr Moreno as my PCP with my paid insurance not that free government stuff. Your logic is ridiculous ur TV ad is false maybe you should specify in small letters at the bottom with an asterisk* ...for current patients only Its spelled COMMERCIAL get it right youre representing a business.

Dr. Moreno and his staff are very professional and very knowledgeable. They are friendly and treat you like family. The wait time is minimal. I highly recommend RGV Urgent care and the Wellness clinics. Like they say Get in! Get out! Get well. Thank you all for being so supportive and professional.

Dr Moreno is patient, kind, and attentive in treating my elderly father. He thoughtfully listens to patient wishes and clearly communicates options and treatments. The office staff is friendly and pleasant as well.

Wow...a bit disappointed with Dr. Moreno. Granted I am a good example of You cant help those who wont help themselves. ... I was receptive to Dr. Morenos advise. I am not one to take medication, too many side effects in most cases. I had mentioned that in years past I was diagnosed with diabetes and was given medication, tho I originally went to see the doctor for migraines. However, the focus at the time now was the diabetes, thus given medication. I actually felt fine at the time other than the migraines. Now, the side effects made me feel bad daily. It got to a point that it even hurt to see, my skin in my neck was turning black and my legs were getting funky. The family clinic at the time told me it was my diabetes and was irreversible especially my eye site.(Never worn glasses in my life.) I later had a trip out of town one day and forgot my medication. Went without for several days. I then started feeling better than before, in three days I could now see again and overall back to myself prior to medication other than the migraines that were not even addressed since it was believed it was the diabetes. Over time the skin conditions went away too. So, we could say I have issues with some medications. After several years I met Dr. Moreno liked his demeanor and signed him up to be my primary doctor. I went in for a wellness check recently where diabetes again became the main focus. Your a very sick man. Dr. Moreno states. Your very diabetic the test shows. Of course, I feel fine. I have some issues of course. But, he actually made a good case and I actually agree to take a different medication for diabetes which he suggests and he is also giving me a script for my high blood pressure. I then ask about my concern on other personal issues, such as a hernia, face palpitations and such. He actually states that he cannot help me since I do not believe that medications work due to the story I told him of my prior experience above. Did we not just jump that hurtle? I had just minutes prior agreed to try the diabetes medication he suggested. He got upset and exited the room. WOW! Thats a professional for you. So I followed and left his office. The blood pressure medication was not even sent to the pharmacy! I later called his office and apologized for wasting his time as that is how he made me feel that at the time. He has now pretty much cemented me not taking any diabetic drugs as they may have major side effects. He will also No longer be my primary. FYI...about the migraines...I am now 4 years without migraines (Nov 2023), no drugs, no surgery. After 24 years of suffering and over $100,000.00 out of pocket with neurologists, chiropractors, pain management doctors, orthopedics, endless tests, x-rays, MRIs, cat-scans, different types of pain medications with different milligrams. A man showed up in my life and took care it in 15 minutes! No X-Rays, No Cat-scans, No MRIs, no blood test. Boom...your better. I do believe in Doctors, I just dont believe in most medicines. For me, the juice in not always worth the squeeze. I met Dr. Moreno at RGV Urgent Care when I caught Covid. I really liked his demeanor and his overall care. So, I made him my primary Dr. and I do believe he is there to help people. Unfortunately, he was not to receptive to my attitude on the diabetic drugs. Unfortunately, I guess he does not understand all I have been thru over the years trusting the drugs I had been given for the diabetic drugs, and the changes it gave my life. Prolonging my life with all those issues for me was not living. All the drugs so far had only made me feel badly with other issues created by the drugs. And the one thing that I really needed help on in the beginning was help for migraines. Again...at the time of my wellness checkup, because of him I had been willing to try a drug that my help my life. Too bad...now, I dont think so. Good luck to anyone that wants to see Dr. Moreno. As it seems it is his way or the hi-way. As the saying goes...sometimes it takes baby steps.

Mrs.Reyes is probably the best one around there staff was absolutely amazing. I haven t gone to a doctor in years because the recent Dr. I use to go to staff were not polite. but todays experience at wellness family clinic was amazing I m so grateful I went and so great for those I met today 100% recommend.

The consultation with Dr. Moreno was very professional and he took the time to listen to all my concerns and explain his diagnosis in detail. Being treated with such patience and taking their time is something you dont see with other doctors who see you as a client and not a patient. Very satisfied with the experience.

I love my clinic. The nurses and providers are professional and kind. I really like that I can do my blood work and labs there and then have a follow up to go over the results. Every time that I have had an urgent situation, I have gotten in the same day. Highly recommend this clinic!

I was hopeful that I finally found a PCP for while we winter in Texas. Doctor Carlos Mareno is amazing. He listened and actually cared about my current situation. However office staff is more concerned with my insurance setup being less than 10 days than the wellness of my health. She refused to allow me to come in for follow-up until it was setup and even rejected my offer to self pay while waiting for insurance to update their system. Not something Im willing to work with since I had an unexpected cardiac event and seeing someone in a timely manner is necessary. I walked away from their practice. I will never return to that office.

All I can say is wow. I have searched for a good PCP for some time. Since I don t really have any underlying health concerns, I didn t really need to so on the one off times I have to go in person it s never easy due to long wait times or not so great experiences. This was my first time coming and I hope the feeling I felt today continues with future visits. I was assisted by front staff quickly and they even did the extra step of calling my insurance to confirm coverage. I met with FNP-BC Jeannie Reyes. She was patient, listened do me and I didn t feel like I was a quick visit to her. There have been countless times I experienced a long wait time just to see a doctor for only 5 mins. Not here. I am hopeful to keep Wellness Clinic my main place for care!

I had always hated trying to find a doctor and make appointments but I feel so at home and okay here. Everyone is so nice and committed to helping you feel better. They actually take the time and sit down to see whats going on with you and explain it. 10/10 I really recommend coming here.

Ive never had such a thorough wellness visit. The doctor explains more than your results, he reviews how to live your healthiest life. My new pcp. And the front office worker was very nice and helpful. Answered all questions. On a side note, which wouldnt sway me one way or the other, but was still a perk, they have a coffee cart and water. Hospitable :)

I love this clinic and the staff. I want to give a special shoutout to the receptionist/nurse who does all the scheduling, etc. She is so warm and kind. The doctor and the nurse practitioners on rotation here are the best; very knowledgeable and they take their time with you. They also run the urgent care clinic next door. I really hope they continue to provide the same quality care because they have a great thing going on here.
