Feels like bagdad no pool, no breakfast, false advertisement. This a private owned hotel. Looks like they re remodeling but it s been years this way. They just making a mess. No AC in lobby. The truck parking is just a dirt lot next door not their property. So don t expect safety. Park at stay at own risk. Great location if they would take care of the facility. My wife and I had an extremely unpleasant stay at Texas Inn. The room was infested with flies, and the linens had cigarette burns. Dust was everywhere, and there were paint splashes from a recent room painting. To make matters worse, there were roaches crawling around. One of the reasons this place appealed to us was the pictures posted online, which were very misleading. The Google description shows that the rooms have Jacuzzis tub, but they have been removed. There is also no swimming pool; it has been filled with concrete. This place feels more like a $50 stay, not worth the $70 they charge. Avoid at all costs!

We had made reservations for down stairs ,smoking room. I informed them that my mother was disabled and could not climb stsirs. We get there and they gave us a upstsirs no smoking room plus the Tv didnt work. They was going to charge us $40 to move rooms. Fi nally last night at 10pm they changed us rooms without charge so we could at least TV. Very bad visit. Do not recommend it to snyone.

Had truck parking which is a plus. We stayed there 3 years ago and came back. But we were given a room with a jacuzzi that didnt work and neither did the channel changer. We went to the office for help and they said theyd be there in a few minutes but never showed up. We didnt have TV the whole time we were there.

Disgusting. The sheets were stained. Cockroaches everywhere. The AC wasnt working and when I asked for a refund the man told me to wait cause he had to check it. And the AC was working when he checked so I went in and it was literally still hot but since the AC said on. Meant it was working. . And he overcharged me. And wouldnt even give partial refund. DO NOT STAY HERE. best western is same price and 7 mins from here. Save your money.

The rooms were actually very decent. Area is very accessible to the highway. I would consider staying here again. It could have just been my room but some restroom fixtures were broken like, the towel rack, the paper dispenser... but most all else was bearable and ultimately the stay was comfortable. Rooms: They could be better kept. Walkability: Few restaurants and corner stores are about a 5-7min walk south.

Only stayed 2 nites, but it was fine. Bathroom was clean, and so often they are bleh at best. Beds were clean, strong, clean sheets. Not too far from places to eat or to pick up some inexpensive clothes. The pool was ok when we stayed, as long as I went before others were up, dress code was chill. Close to the freeway, the neighborhood was ok, lots of fun and silly things to do. Cant wait to go back.

This place says $60 but when it all comes down to it I got charged $85 for a single bed.They always say that the room doesnt have cable.Um they all dont got cable,plus the air conditioners suck.Forgot my coat and the cleaning lady kept it for herself.Your better off getting a room at the Echo Hotel in Edinburg I payed $68 first time then $75 another but they got good AC and actually have cable etc.This hotel Texas Inn is not worth it.One more thing,the pool is always dirty and moldy.Always!So dont expect to go swimming.

Beware of this establishment it is unsanitary conditions look at the photos provided I rented a room on a Friday night on Aug 12, 2022 at around 8:00 pm In the evening and was there 5 minutes and requested a refund the rooms were dirty and full of roaches. There was even one on the bed. After requesting a refund I was advised that to call back the next day because no managers on site to return money and so I called next day to get refund and was told to call back during the week called back during the week and same thing one excuse after another May I add I booked room on the spot it was not put on hold so there should be no excuses for a not getting a refund. All I got was the run around and then no one answer I left messages and messages and no response soo I just want to make others aware that there is a risk to rent a room in this hotel and it not only comes with that it comes with little roches.

Im 15 minutes into my stay this is one of the worst hotels Ive ever been at the toilet seat is not properly bolted the room was almost 80 when I walked in TV remote does not work Horrible TV signal in the 1st place. Not a bad place. Would stay here again. The reception and housekeeping were friendly. The furniture is extremely worn and very dirty. The bed pillows were a pathetic joke. The sheets were clean though. A fair amount of unknown dirt and stains on the walls in numerous locations. With some attention to detail, this place would easily be 4 stars. The price was par for the area. Trucking parking on site for 8-10 big trucks.

Generally good, except that the person in charge when we arrived was alone and struggling to assign the rooms, even though several of us had already paid for reservations. He was even assigning those who did not have a reservation first. And more and more people gathered at the reception for the same reason they couldnt move forward. Easy, we lasted 1 hour and there we were waiting. Other than that everything was fine. I think its just a matter of improving your system and thats it.

NEVER STAY HERE. If I could give a zero I would. Had stayed at this hotel before they switched the name, maybe even switched owners. Walking distance to many fast food places, so thats always good right? When I got o the room everything looked normal. Nice bed, spacious room and everything looked clean. Then found that both the shower and sink handle where compleatly off. The drains look like they havent been cleaned in years. The tube and sink itself was not clean. Didnt even have a stopper so I couldnt take a bath even if I wanted to. Dont use the vending machines. They are empty and will only take your money. Oh, the roches and earwigs like to come out in the middle of the night. Not just a few of them by the way. Turn on the lights and you see them everywhere. To top all this off I woke up and found dead roches in the bed. I SLEPT WITH DEAD ROCHES!!!! For almost $80 I would expect this place to be in better conditions.

Go Elsewhere, they are nasty. The owner doesnt maintain his property at all. Roaches, nasty sheets, hot rooms, ac doesnt work well at all. They waste your time by showing you a bunch of rooms that have bugs you dont want to take home. They will not give you a refund once you pay no matter how many rooms you see. They can show you every room in the hotel but if one or two have roaches and bed bugs they all do. The owner wont return your calls for a refund nor will he respond to email. Quit lying I paid cash. Original room that was given had lizard in it, next room toilet seat broke and bugs in fridge, next room tv was broke, next room dried blood on floor and roaches, last room had semen stained sheets and roaches. After 5 rooms they would not refund us our money. We left and went elsewhere. Manager is never there to talk to, does not return calls or emails. Fortunately I have never stayed here. Mr. Patel Doesn t pay employees correctly. Mistreats cleaning ladies and threatens with cutting hours. Beside the owner mistreating employees, the hotel is in need of work. It is not cheap, rats and other pest do live in the rooms and in the main lobby/ kitchen. Check behind the counter, inside the kitchen and you ll find rat traps. This location and University location both have rats. This man is cheap and doesn t care about guest or employees. During my time here, pest control was never called (7 months). Sad story but during my shift, an older Mexican women asked for a day off, a Monday for her sisters doctor visit. After 10 mins of pleading she finally was allowed the day off and that s cause her sister has leukemia. Due to low priced labor, this man is able to succeed but I hope one day that his employees find a better job where they can be paid correctly and not feel threatened.

If I could give a zero I would. Room we were given temperature did go below 66 and still was. Given another room and fridge didnt work and bathroom smelled like urine. Another upsetting thing is after review we received a bad response. Like their upset for placing a bad review. Unprofessional!! 2 thumbs down.

Its rubbish, the AC doesnt work, the refrigerator doesnt work, the lamps dont even have any use for light bulbs, and they charge very well, the bathrooms smell like mine, the sheets have cigarette dimples, all the service is terrible.

Had to come to Edinburg for business early Sunday morning. I decided to stay here. Everything from the desk clerk who checked me in to the maid who cleaned my room to the guy who checked me out was awesome. The room was clean and quiet. Everyone i met in Edinburg during my stay was great. I will definitely stay here on my upcoming vacation. Thank you Edinburg for a great stay.
