It would have been a 5, but they started diluting the coffee..i think It doesnt taste the same anymore and that was the reason why I would go continuously. Good coffee with good bread in one spot. Coffee makes a big difference. On the other hand they do sell bag of loaded sweet bread thats not sold, which is a bargain cause its a lot for small price.

It was my favorite bakery since the shells filled with chocolate were super delicious but the last 3 times Ive gone the bread has come out with little animals on it, a shame they dont have adequate hygiene, but for the moment I wont go back there

Selection was rather limited but that could have been because we walked in on a Saturday afternoon. We did not buy anything. We were looking for a rosca bread, but did not see any. We visited a neighboring panadería that had more selection and the rosca we were looking for. Food is rated three stars upon only what was visible--we did not buy anything. Service was based upon the fact that we were not approached by any staff. The atmosphere is based upon us being the only customers at the time.

This place is a nice little place to get away from all the busy breakfast places, not to mention they serve breakfast all day. Coffee is good and at the price you re paying you can t go wrong. Any of their breakfast dishes are great and the servers are very friendly.

The price of the breakfasts is very affordable, I had chilaquiles for $6.99 (a little spicy) with flour tortillas and apparently they were made by hand due to their shape. They have display cases with fresh bread and the sugar donuts were my favorites. They also sell hot tortillas and barbecue on weekends. What I would opt for is to have the bathroom a little more hygienic since there were many things piled up there.

While visiting Edinburg we looked up a bakery and this was recommended. We bought empanadas, cookies and breakfast tacos. The empanadas are among the worst I ever had. The egg on the taco was not mixed and still had egg whites. The worst part was when I went to the restroom. Right out side the restroom is where they store eggs and boxes for the cakes. Best chilaquiles! I know this is a bakery, but their food is delicious. Their barbacoa is very clean so you get the best out of what youre buying. Lunch specials are also love the beans and...really any dish. I do recommend going for breakfast, but give their lunch a try.

The breakfast here is okay, the huevos rancheros were pretty good for $5.99 you get 3 eggs, refried beans and potatoes. The eggs were cooked perfectly over medium except one egg, the salsa for the eggs was good they added panela cheese on top of the salsa for extra flavor, the refried beans were delicious i think they had lard added, the potatoes were made fresh to order, slightly crispy but it needed some seasoning. The flour tortillas were okay. The barbacoa tacos were pretty good as the meat didnt have much fat. Overall The breakfast here is good but the service was bad, the server forgot my side order of bacon and she was very distracted, no coffee refill, served the barbacoa tacos first and i had to wait 10mins more for my huevos rancheros. I would also recommend they invest in using real plates and cups as it will make the food stand out more.

I was craving those yummy little sandwiches I usually eat every time I m in Progreso, Mexico but didn t want to actually drive over there. Here you get four sandwiches with homemade fries. Ground beef, chopped lettuce and tomato are stuffed into these lightly fried rolls, topped with a slice of avocado and sprinkled with cheese. The rolls don t have that tiny taste of sweetness and crispness that the Mexican ones do, but are still very good and filling. It s messy to eat but delicious. You order at the counter and get drinks out of the cooler. There are a few tables to sit at but noticed several people picked up their orders. The bakery side is self service and there s a self-serve coffee station. Pan dulce looked picked over by lunchtime, probably best first thing in the morning.

The service was horrible, the one who served me had a terrible attitude, the whole fat woman seemed like she wanted to hit you, the barbecue was very expensive, they dont even give you enough onion and cilantro or sauces, they didnt add lemons, if you ask for more, they want to charge you and the barbecue isnt the big deal. You see and last step in that unpleasant restaurant

First time I came, about a year ago I saw roaches. My sister swears by this place and from what I was told they had made some renovations. I decided to give it one more try, this time no roaches but a nice piece of hair was found in my taco. Just makes you wonder how sanitary this place really is. The good thing about this place seems to be their customer service. I was welcomed immediately and made to feel at home.

Came here on a Sunday to eat breakfast with a friend. Had the Special ( Pozole de Puerco combined with 2 tacos de barbacoa and 2 tacos de Carnitas. It was Delicious!!!! Also ordered their Oatmeal. It was to Die for!!!! Its very rich!!! The waiter Armando is very Nice and quick to take your Order!!!! The Cashier Monica is also very Nice!!! They both greet you with a Good Morning as you come in. Everybody s experience could be different and this one is mine. They started doing lunch plates. The first time we ordered the mole, it was not that good, but we decided to give it another try. The first time that we went, I got the plates at 11:15 am and they served me, but this week when I went by, the lady told me that it was not 12 and that she was doing the lunch and i had to wait until noon for the lunch plates. I ended up going to Chick Fil A instead.
